Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The estate was done up properly. Inside was definitely closed off to the guests, but the grounds outside were full of festivities. Enzeru normally wouldn’t have gone for something so showy, except he knew that most of the people showing would need this in order to take their minds off things. It wasn’t gaudy, but they had it all. Games for the kids who would be showing up, some games for the adults, tables filled with food for the guests to eat, and his fellow natives of Kirigakure had chipped in their part and gotten a live orchestral band from Moon to come in and set the mood for the event. Enzeru was able to tune most of it out, a lifetime of training allowing him to focus on the important details. Like the choking his tunic and the decorations on it were putting him under.

For once, he was wearing truly formal attire. It was reminiscent of his military uniform, but not quite the same. Dark blue dress pants, black shiny dress shoes, black socks, a dark blue coat with long tails on the front and back, and a baby blue cape across his back. Gray belts held it together, and there was quite a bite of silver ornamentation near his neckline. And a….furry thing by his head on his left shoulder with braided cords hanging from it. He had no idea what that was, actually. He almost felt a fool, except he knew that tonight would make someone he cared about very, very happy. For her, he would feel like a fool any day. For her, he was a fool in love.

So far the only people arrived were himself, standing near the stage for the ceremony, and his fellows from Kirigakure. He was still having trouble getting used to the idea of Osore and Hoshikata being the same person now. Or rather, of Osore being Hoshikata and Osore at once. It was confusing. But the money sent their way from the Isaki clan to help cover some of the expenses wasn’t a gift he could refuse. So he let them stay.

There were poles set out, banners in purple and black and ice blue hanging from them and creating a sort of passage into the area set apart for the wedding. Enough chairs set out for a few hundred guests, though he had no idea why they would think there’d be that many. The band was playing in one corner, a slow song that reminded him of his former home. And Enzeru simply stood there, for the first time in his life experiencing true nervousness. Not adrenaline, not fear. Just anxiety that everything was happening and he was in the middle of it, a leave in a hurricane. It was not a feeling he enjoyed.

With much poking and prodding, Sousuke did indeed go see a tailor. The one Rioshi had suggested was ... well ... he wanted to put Sousuke in an odd colour scheme involving blue, purple, and pink. Nope. All the nope. Sousuke was not going to wear that fine mess of floral patterns mixed with a cat tie that was certainly not him by any means. Upon Rioshi's displeasure he settled on one thing - the cat tie. Sousuke did not like cats. They were vile creatures that hissed and scratched at you. They were very independent and very ... not nice. Thankfully Tigers and Panthers were different. Much more sociable creatures ... especially considering they were trained to speak in common. Right back then to the suit. Sousuke wore was white but it had black pin stripes. He wore a black shirt to go with it. He had argued with his designer, and on more than one occasion he took the suit from the man and began to sew it himself. Sousuke was used to making some of his own clothing. He did after all make a red leather jacket for himself a long time ago. He wore a pair of white shoes with black soles. Sousuke looked slightly uncomfortable - which he was because he did not wear suits. At least fabric ones.

Sousuke did bring to the wedding someone. It wasn't Yume due to her scheduling conflicts with the hospital so he brought ... his secretary. It was mainly to prevent people from trying to get him to play that game single men did at weddings. Old superstition he called it. It required a bit of convincing to bring Rioshi in. It was a hard bargain. One of the more difficult things he had to do in life. It involved ... agreeing to go shopping with her later. It also involved drinking more of her coffee. At the very least, Sousuke could assure Rioshi that she was not going to be surrounded by men with ulterior motives. On several occasions in the past, Sousuke had been reminded that his secretary was 'devastatingly' handsome, pretty, or beautiful. Rioshi was pretty yes, but she was not proportionate. Sousuke found a pair of seats for the two. "Acceptable?"<i></i> He would inquire of his secretary. "I am expected to have a role in this. Unfortunately ... I missed rehearsal."<i></i>

Kimi bit her lip as she looked into the mirror in the bridal room. It wasn't a usual feeling, but she wished her mother was here. Katsu and Kora sat on either side of her, purple and black ribbons were tied around their necks. They gently nuzzled her hips as the Nekozuka heir's eyes watered. Kimi chuckled softly and pet their large heads.

Just then, a knock issued from the door before her father peeked around the edge with his eyes closed. "Can I come in? Everyone's decent?"
"Yes dad, you can come in," she said with a small eye roll.
He walked through the door with a smile on his face. "You look beautiful, Kimi. The clan colors suit you."

She looked down slightly. Her outfit was something she had almost passed over. Long and flowing was not something she would usually wear, but the colors were perfect. Purple and light blue, lighter than Enzeru's hair used to be, had always been the colors of their clan. The insertion of black was a highly welcome addition.

"Thank you, dad. That means a lot to me. Everything ready to go?"

"Yeah, we're good to go, though there is still some time until the ceremony itself."

Kimi couldn't help but groan. She should have waited a little longer to get ready.

"I'll come and get you when it's time, Kimi. I'm going to go check in on your groom."

Koichi walked through the hall and poked his head out to give Enzeru a big smile and a thumbs up. He noticed his clan file in, their companions by their sides. He noticed a newly formed duo, an ocelot kit in the young girl's hood, and couldn't help but smile. Another beat later, he noticed Sousuke walking in with his- secretary? Yume must have been busy today. He stood there for a few more moments before turning back toward Kimi's dressing room.
