Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Hunt 01: Moonlight Primrose

Sunlight poured heavily into the Ancient Forest, illuminating all the many nooks and crannies of the land. Time had seemed infinite and never ending as he stood on a patch of scorched land. It hadn't been too long since the defeat of the Moonlight Primrose, and a slightly damaged Yuuto hung about in the Ancient Forest. His forehead and torso were bandaged seeing as the direct hit from the vine was enough to fracture five of his ribs and give him a delayed concussion. The adrenaline rush helped ebb the pain away, he truthfully didn't feel it until after he delivered Gojin's ashes to his fiance. After that he had passed out and given immediate medical care. They knew that the shadow bender, wouldn't sit still forever but the medics squeezed out two days from him at the very least giving his bones medical ninjutsu treatment and then immediately casting and wrapping him up.

The forest was more peaceful now at least this part of it was. The only noises that could be heard was the faint chirping of birds and a low rushing sound of water. His mind wandered back to the site of the creature upon first contact. It was a giant bulb like creature with patches of flowers on his head. There were gigantic vines and tentacles that came from it. On the center, under the bulb there seemed to be a mouth of some sort. It had razor sharp teeth and acidic like saliva that was probably used to digest their victims. The consumed humans were reformed as plant like humanoids embedded on the bulb, and there were far more than the three reported missing people. There was no telling how long this creature had been feasting and this seemed to be a first of it's species or at least the first Kumo had run into.

He could remember the rage he held at seeing the creature. It was just thrashing about angry at the flames he had made it taste. The many innocents who fell to this incoherent beast, had only driven Yuuto's rage more. He unleashed two constructs from the Primordial Zone, both wreathed in ebony flames, both seeking a swift destruction for their master. The Serpent's malice was a harsh thing to swallow, it made Yuuto wonder where this shade came from and why the killing intent was so strong. Was it due to his own nature or that of the Primordial ones? Sometimes the line between man and creature was so hard to tell, especially for those in the Masaru. However hunts like these could always reinforce that his clan was on the right path. A creature like that couldn't be calmed down, there would be no way for them to be calmed. They were predators and thought of anything lesser as food. Survival of the fittest seemed to fit it best. Even so the human will never faded, even as Gojin's husk lied burning away into cinders he remembered the smile and the "tears" the husk produced at being freed.

His mind would snap back into the current reality as he awaited this specialist Kumogakure would be sending to him. Another shinobi who was well versed in plant life was supposed to be on the way to help further the investigation. The Ancient Forest had always been full of mystery and wonder, but never had this creature appeared so it was a mystery one that needed to be thoroughly investigated. Even while under injuries Yuuto still wished to find a means to answer his inquiries about the Moonlight Primrose. He also wished to seek out other creature's dens and determine how dangerous it was to other species. While there were a lot of creatures who were "evil" or "dangerous" there were some who were peaceful, kind, and gentle. The kind of benevolent creatures that brought good will and fortune. If nothing else he was not only protecting Kumogakure, but also those critters as well.
-Yuuto is bandaged, wearing clothes that cover him but not hiding the obvious injuries he sustained
-A black and crimson sheathe is on his waist with a gold plated hilt sticking out.
-The forest is quite sunny, and the ground that he's standing on is charred and scorched by flames. The markings are a few days old.
-Birds are chirping and the sound of rushing water can faintly be heard
-To those that can see what the normal eye cannot, there are still small vines and roots underneath the ground. They hold some type of energy in them but are mostly dead.

It was no little known fact that Saki was one of the leading specialists on plant life in Kumogakure; he didn't necessarily try to hide it. Being an Oshiro, regardless of whether or not people still knew the name, led to the eventual appreciation of any and all plant life. That said, he'd spent nearly the last decade of his life studying and caring for plants and flowers in his family's florist shop, and had gone out of his way in nearly all his spare to to peruse books written by brilliant people on the subject of flowers, and to increase his knowledge on plant life in any way he possibly could. He was exceptionally knowledgeable in the field for his age.

So when Saki was assigned to follow up a mission conducted by a "Yuuto," which supposedly involved a "monster flower," he wasn't surprised. Supposedly, a gigantic flower had lured in some people before eating them, accounting for three missing persons that even the best sensory shinobi weren't able to locate. It was destroyed now, courtesy of the aforementioned shinobi. What "destroyed" meant, Saki didn't know. If it meant that it had been cut into tiny bits, well, then it wouldn't be completely destroyed. Plants regrow from cut parts, so slicing one to pieces would do nothing but created and eventual army of the creatures, most likely. No, to truly destroy it, it would have had to be incinerated, or blown up. To be honest, Saki hoped it hadn't actually been completely destroyed; he hoped to take some piece of it back and study it's composition to see what made it tick.

But as Saki reached the site he was instructed to meet Yuuto at, he realized he would most likely not get that chance. In the patches of sun that broke through the forest treeline, scorch marks lining the ground in a pretty enormous area revealed to him that the creature had most likely been consumed in some ultimate fire. The size and condensed shape of the majority of the marks, as well as a "sidewinding" shaped scorch mark, told him that this was the result of some power fire jutsu, not a natural forest fire. So... this was the last place of the creature. He looked down, and kicked at some of the marks lightly. Then, Saki proceeded to the man in front of him who had his back to him.

"Hello," he called out, his voice fairly light. "My name is Oshiro Saki. I was sent out here as a Plantae specialist, to meet with a Yuuto. Are you Yuuto?"

This time the bronze-skinned Kyoujouran decided to explore the more natural side of Kumogakure, and found himself walking around the forest they called "Ancient Forest". It was an appropriate name, as Kurogane figured the trees were pretty old, at least from what he could feel with his fingers. The roots beneath him seemed to intertwine in all directions, branching out like a tree of the genealogical kind. He couldn't exactly tell how deep the roots went, but it had to be pretty deep if he couldn't sense it with his Kyoujouran abilities.

The direction his excursion was supposed to take he did not plan, so he simply walked in any random direction, knowing he could find his way back by following the roots beneath the earth. It was more or less like a complicated map, and he had definitely had his fair share of roots beneath his feet from his time in the Fire Country, though he had never been around such old trees. There was probably some area of the Leaf village with ancient trees, but as far as he could remember there was no ancient forest.

As Kurogane ventured deeper into the forest, he noticed the trees felt warmer to the touch, and there seemed to be streams of warmth coming from above. That didn't seem like the typical Cloud climate, especially in a frigid, obscured gathering of very old trees. It was time to use more than his usual senses to investigate the area. He activated his sensei's eyes and scanned the stretch of forest in front of him.

Ahead he spotted two blobs of chakra, one standing and one walking over to the other one. Perhaps they would know they're way around the forest, and could point out some interesting areas for a tourist like himself to go sight-seeing. The area seemed unnaturally sunny and scorched, probably by a fire jutsu of some sort. The pale-eyed shinobi had seen plenty of those types of jutsus where he came from. The Uchiha clan was one prominent one that favored the hot style of jutsus. Kurogane then realized he had been standing around when he should be moving, so he made his way towards the two people up ahead.

As he drew closer he noticed the roots one of the men was standing on had a special sort of chakra flowing in it, despite it being weak from a battle, possibly from the fire jutsu. He turned off his eyes and came closer into the sunlight for the two to see him without troubles, if they happened to be of the seeing type. In case they could not see him, he added audio to appeal to their other senses. "Hello fellow shinobi, if you happen to be shinobi. I hope I am not intruding on something, but I wanted to ask you something..." He walked a bit closer, his eyes not looking at anything in particular. He raised an arm slowly to adjust the Cloud forehead protector on his forehead to bring attention to it, in the event that they didn't trust him. Though they could possibly be enemies of Cloud, but he didn't pay it any mind. He could defend himself if they got aggressive. "I'm trying to find places where one could see or feel interesting things out here in nature. Would you happen to know the area?"

A younger man approached him from behind calling out his name slightly startling him to be honest. Yuuto turned slowly as the boy began to introduce himself. His name was Oshiro Saki, it had a particularly nice ring to it. This was the specialist that was sent here to meet him. He had a soft look in his eyes to Yuuto, maybe he was just overestimating the friendliness of this character. While he stood there, the realization set in that he had not said hello yet. A smile would form on his face, as the young shinobi extended his hand. However before he could speak, another person would reveal themselves.

He came from a different direction, and was tanned. Likely older than Yuuto but not too far ahead in age. He addressed them as fellow shinobi, most likely due to the nature of the surroundings. It wasn't everyday you found large scorch marks on the ground for no reason. This one wanted to know more about the surrounding area, as if he was almost new to the place. Possibly he had never been in the Ancient Forest, although it was likely he was just new. With the recent influx of refugees and knowing Hayata Shin's gentle nature, someone could have been brought into the fold. "Well hello stranger, I am Masaru Yuuto, what's your name?" He'd take the time to look at both of them to also acknowledge Saki. Returning back to the newcomer he'd continue speaking. "Hmm I know quite a few areas, and there's always wonder you can find in the forest. However Saki and I here are about to do a follow up on a terrible creature that was spawned here. It's always nice having an extra pair of eyes around." Something was off about his eye, it was pale white but he wasn't sure if it meant anything.

Well Saki here is where I fought the creature to the death. It appeared to me as a patch of clear primrose flowers that shimmered from the moonlight. I knew it was a ploy, I had already found information about the creature. I gave it a little kiss with some heat and the creature began to immediately react, breaking through the ground with very large vines and tentacles. I cut a couple and then was slapped away and regrettably to say one vine did this much damage to me. However I reacted by using a bundle of shadows to pierce the creature. It broke free from the ground revealing it's true form. I took a snapshot of it." Yuuto would produce a photo from his belt pouch and show it to Saki and Kuro.
3_flower_monster_life_colossus_rift.jpg

"After it revealed itself I used two summoning jutsu to create creatures of fire. They fought while I found an opening to pin it down. There was this acidic goo it produced that began to melt one of my creatures. Anyways I managed to pin it down and threw oil into it's mouth, and then *snaps fingers* ignited it with my flames burning it to ash. There was something else however... He would pause for a moment grasping his chin before he spoke. Looking back on this fact he could never form it properly.

"I think the victims still were conscious. See there were about twelve people who had been converted into this plant like humanoid that was connected to it's central bulb. When I felled the creature, the victims began to cry, though their tears were green I could tell they were crying and rejoicing that they were free now..." He'd stop to take his time and look at the clearing in the forest. As if fate had just allowed Sunlight to bathe this spot of the forest. It must have been why the primrose chose this location, when the moon took the sun's place the light reigned down here. "So fellows how do we proceed from here? Where did this creature come from, is there more? Why did it attack and for what reason. I already have a few ideas, but I'm sure Saki here has some insight. What do you think (looking at Kuro)?"

The man was indeed Yuuto. After he'd turned around, though, it was debatable as to whether or not he was a man: his face was bandaged, and, despite his clothing coving just about everything, it was easy to see that he'd been injured... badly. Honestly, Saki thought that the guy should have been in the hospital, not a follow-up about the thing that borderline killed him. Well, no... not borderline killed. Kumogakure had fine shinobi, who wouldn't be bested by a plant, as fascinating as plants were. Regardless of the damage done to the Yuuto, Skai was secretly disappointed that it had, in fact, been completely destroyed. As deadly as it was, it would have been a prime target for experimentation.

There was another man who joined the two of them, asking if there was anything interesting around. He was tall, dark, and muscular. He had a certain... air about him. Saki didn't know how to describe it, but something about the guy was just kind of offputting. Perhaps it was just because he didn't generally like bigger guys. They could be so... intimidating. But for now, he did his best to brush off the feeling and examine the situation before him.

"Well, as far as I know, this isn't a confidential mission. You should be able to tag along if you want."

From there, Saki looked at the picture Yuuto provided him, along with the name attached-- "Moonlight Primrose." A large, vine-tentacled monster with multiple mouths, and person-shaped protrusions on its head. Saki's face grew concerned.

Well... at first glance, I can say you did well in naming it "Moonlight Primrose." It is indeed a primrose. Again, just at first glance, this appears to be a massively sized, white-colored variant of a flower called Oenothera Biennis, commonly called an Evening Primrose. Normally they look like any other primrose: same size and color (yellow), and open their petals near midnight, but what made this one so massive, I cannot say without being able to study the specimen. It's a shame the entirety of the plant was destroyed in your fight..." Saki concluded.

Several theories began forming in his head. "My first thought is that the color change is somehow linked to the size change. I'd suspect some kind of jutsu might have created this... but alas, I know of no such jutsu. Now, Yuuto... I believe I may have come to a conclusion on one point. This plant is, no doubt, carnivorous, but what else does it eat? Think for a moment: I believe that this variant of the Oenothera Biennis feeds on something else. Look at all that its victims had in common."

Saki had a good hunch about why it may have been attacking people, and potentially why it may have grown so large. Hopefully, he would be right. But if he was... Raiden help us all.

As Kurogane approached the two with his question, the injured one who appeared to have just finished a battle introduced himself, then explained what he and the other smaller man were doing there. "Well, I'm not sure if I can be much help to you two in the subject of 'vision'. I happen to be lacking in that field." He waved his left hand up and down in front of his eyes to demonstrate that they didn't follow. "Though I can possibly help you two with anything earth-related. I have a special bond with it others might be missing..."

Yuuto then began explaining to Saki everything he knew about the monstrous plant that cause such anguish to many human beings. Unfortunately, the picture he produced for them was useless to the Kyoujouran, for now obvious reasons.

Saki responded by immersing the two in the topic of florae, which resulted in two mysteries Kurogane felt he could solve. As the bronze shinobi thought, Yuuto gave him a chance to speak by focusing on him.

"Well, actually, Saki-san, there are still some vines beneath us from the floral beast. They contain remnants of chakra which the flower must have been extracting from its victims..." Then he realized he said too much. Even an expert on the ground like a Kyoujouran wouldn't be able to sense remnants of chakra in some damaged vines and roots under the dirt. They would possibly suspect he could do more than he was letting on. He decided to avoid the situation by humbling his abilities. "But I suppose I'm no expert on the matter..."

The tall newcomer's eyes came from blindness apparently. It would make sense with their pale appearance, but it didn't bode how he knew the people were right over here. Could it be possible that he was of the Hashigaki Clan? Maybe he was just well versed in his ability to perceive others or he was an amazing Chakra Sensor. Regardless of such inquiries, Yuuto would welcome him into the fold, even if he didn't want to give his name. To be quite honest, he wasn't worried about confrontation not when there were worse things in the world.

Saki began to explain the creature and it's relations with other flowers. He didn't specify if there were more creatures such as this but of the smaller variety, he could have possibly been talking about it just resembling a plant. Regardless the floral creature should not have been that big, it was unheard of. This meant it was the work of a jutsu of some sort. However Saki's next inquiry made Yuuto think differently. There was still a live sample that Yuuto knew of possibly two. There was the vine he cut off but never went back for but his blade was ignited with the Primordial Flames, it's possibly that sample was ravaged. There was always the possibility of the ashes but that was Gojin's last remnant to Megami, he couldn't just take that away from her. It was then that the stranger had finally spoken up, concluding that there were indeed remnants under the ground. He said that they held chakra but how could he have known? It was quite possible that his ability to sense earth allowed him to sense chakra. Yuuto would bend down and run his hand across the ground and begin pulse out his own chakra. A wave of energy would emanate from his palm as he was tapping into any chakra reserves from the scorch mark. He got a small reading, whatever was holding this chakra was dying out.

"Well I'll be damned... Good call stranger I'm getting a reading from down there. Give me a second I'll dig it out." Yuuto would clasp his hands together and make a Tiger Seal patiently charging his chakra. Without much effort, a sigil would appear on the ground, as if it was a shadow. Within moments a hand would shoot from the darkness, and grasp the ground. It began to pull itself out, and the entire view of it might have unsettled his new found partners, although such a creature was normal to Yuuto. While he dubbed it the Shadow Herald, it was a shade of a Fire Spirit, Ignis who came from the Primordial Zone.
[spoilername="Ignis the Shadow Herald of Primordial Embers"]

[/spoilername]

Ignis, the Shadow Herald roared as flames burst from his back. They were shadowed flames not affecting the surrounding area, but still held heat that the group could feel it. It loomed over Yuuto while he examined the ground. With a flick of his wrist, the Shadow Herald began to dig into the ground moving large amounts of dirt without much time wasted. Soon they began to see the roots of the "dead" Primrose which seemed to shrivel at the near touch of Ignis. The Primordial Shadow, quickly swatted the roots out of the ground as they landed near Saki. Yuuto would chuckle as he dismissed the spirit, who turned into shadows and vanished into nothingness. The summoner would walk towards the vines and moved them around. They were slightly large about as big as Kuro's arms. "I guess there were some smaller roots hiding away to regenerate possibly. They definitely have chakra in them, and different kinds at that. I couldn't explore that theory because we only have three recorded victims but good call Saki. Whose to say if the ones on the bulbs are even the full amount of victims this thing has consumed, but I think it's pretty safe to say that chakra nourishes it more than flesh....Wait what's this." Yuuto would stop speaking as something else caught his eye. A small green figure in the mix with the vines. He'd bend down again and sift his hands through the mass.

His eyes would slightly widen, fixated on the discovery he had just made. The hunter would rise back up cradling something almost like a baby in his hand. Yuuto's free hand would tighten clenched with force, so much that his nails dug into his skin and caused a small leakage. He was infuriated about something clearly and the tenseness of his shoulders did not relax for a few seconds. When he calmed down finally his fingers would release and he'd take a deep breath. By using another seal the whirlpool of darkness would appear on the ground again, and he'd release whatever it was that he held so dearly.
[spoilername="Dropped Item"]

[/spoilername]

After dropping the small figure into his shadows, Yuuto would turn to the party once more. "Alright Saki, well let's get some analyzing on these vines going you are the expert. Stranger if you don't mind could you possibly use your Earth Sense to look search the surrounding area? I'm specifically looking for any abnormal shifts in the earth, any tampering, or energy which is combining at one point. There is something I have to do... but we have to find the location of a specific creature in order to complete this. I think you're best suited for this task. When you find it we should begin moving towards that area, of course after getting the okay from Saki." He was a bit more serious now, the mood had clearly changed and something was brewing inside of him now. "Damn it all Yuuto. How could have I been so blind, this is so obvious. This explains how the creature might have came about but there's more to this than meets the eye. There is another force at work here, but I just don't know what yet. Maybe, just maybe his sense can lead me to this little one's family. We could get a better understanding if it does, but we can only hope."

-Feel Free to add onto the discoveries and make up what you find. ^_^

There was a period of time before either of the other two answered, but from their actions, and what they said as well, he knoew that the both of them had caught on to what he'd been implying. The muscular man waved his hand in front of his face, which Saki thought meant that he wasn't understanding the situation, but quickly realized that he meant it literally; this man was blind. That revelation actually caught him off-guard, and he felt a wave of guilt wash over him for stereotyping him as "bad" because he was big. But that said, this tall man still intimidated Saki a little bit. Despite his lack of sight, the man could seemingly sense hat was around him. That, combined with the fact that he had said he "had a special bond with the earth others might be missing" led Saki to the assumption that he used some form of earth jutsu to locate things around him. Regardless of whether or not that was correct, though, he quickly added that he sensed a remnant of the mutated Oenothera Biennis benath the ground.

Yuuto responded quickly by summoning a canine-like creature, bathed in ebony flames, which wasted no time in digging down the multiple feet necessary to acquire the leftover root. Although its fire-like properties somewhat scorched the pile of roots--which, by the way, moved as though writhing in pain-- Saki couldn't complain. The only way he could have gotten the root from that far may very well have destroyed it further. Yuuto mentioned something about chakra being what the creature was feasting on, and Saki grinned.

"Precisely! Look at the three victims detailed in your mission briefing (I was given all the details of your mission before I arrived). The victims included a Chuunin, a Med-nin, and an Akimichi. While yes, the Akimichi was not a shinobi, that clan is no doubt famous for wielding chakra well. The only other victim was a flower enthusiast, like myself. But consider this: you did not see any forms on that plant's head other than human, correct? So we can safely assume that its diet consisted solely of humans. Now, for a seemingly carnivorous animal, this is strange. Why wouldn't it eat elk, which also populate these woods, and are far larger than any man? Why choose spots where it knew humans would travel, as this beast was no doubt migratory. The only plausible explanation I see is that it was not hunting for meat, it was hunting for chakra. But for what purpose... again, I cannot say."

At this point, though what Saki was saying could be considered rambling, he wholly thought that the others would be interested in it. But instead, Yuuto had a concerned look on his face, as if he was not completely paying attention. His focus was on something in the pile of roots that his summon had brought up, which he now held in one arm. Blood began dripping from his free hand. Suddenly, Yuuto opened a small whirlpool-looking portal, like the same he'd used to summon the previous creature, and dropped something into it. Something that, to Saki, looked very important. He reacted.

"No!" he yelled, reaching out to grab the thing dropped before it could fall into the portal. He caught it just in time. "I need anything and everything I can if we want to learn more about this creature; destroying potential leads will get us nowhere!"

Saki lost his cool there for a moment, but almost as quickly as it had disappeared, it was back again. He looked at the thing, which now appeared to be some... creature, more than a thing. Like a baby, almost.

"I don't think I can do much with the vines immediately. My hope was to use them to grow a new plant, in a controlled environment where I could study and analyze its behavior, as well as how it grew so big. I fear that this may not be the last of the "Moonlight Primrose." We shall most likely see more of them, if I am correct. Now, Yuuto... what is this? And why were you so quick to destroy it before I could see it? Is this... some kind of seed?"

Saki and Yuuto took in the information Kurogane provided them and the result was Yuuto summoning something from the shadows which dug up some of the roots in the ground. Before he did, however, Kurogane heard the word 'stranger' from his mouth, and immediately felt remorse for forgetting to introduce himself. Now he had to find an appropriate moment to do so.

He chose to do it as Yuuto was digging something out of the vines, but before he could get the words out the intended target for the words began acting a bit peculiar, as if the object he dug up was precious. As precious as it seemed to be though he summoned up more shadows and moved to drop the 'treasure' into the shadows, but was stopped by Saki.

Kurogane didn't exactly get everything that was going on, due to his lack of vision, but he sensed that Saki misunderstood something. The tall man may have misinterpreted things himself, however he thought Yuuto wouldn't have cradled something then thrown it away immediate afterwards. The more logical conclusion would be that Yuuto was about to store it away as one would gold in a safe. He decided to voice his thoughts.

"Saki-san, I think-"

But before he could continue an unseen presence interrupted him. His head went earthwards, his eyes aimed at dirt. It was time these two quasi-strangers saw his sensei's eyes.

They turned from the usual pale blue color to a pure white, and veins showed up around them. Anyone with an extra sense for chakra would notice it was working some kind of magic behind his eyes, making them work better than their own, despite them usually not working in their natural state.

"Something's moving around down there, and I assume it has to do with the excavation we just undertook." He searched for a moment and locked onto the target in question. "There it is!"

But before he could attempt to force it from the ground, it came out on its own. Kurogane immediately blocked its attack and sent whatever it was flying off to the side. After the dust settled, they would see it themselves...

(OoC: I originally wanted to just talk to Saki and introduce Kurogane, but I figured this would be more interesting... =D You guys can make the thing anything you want. It could be one of the vines from the plant which regenerated or something else which didn't like the digging...)

Saki began to excitedly inform the the two veterans about his hypothesis. He was truly an expert when it came to the plant variety of creatures and Yuuto could only expect he had more tricks than this. His theories would likely turn to be completely correct as the information came in volumes. The Primrose did not exhibit any features that would lead one to believe that it feasted on more than humans. However it was not uncommon for creatures to exhibit chakra as well, there were plenty of creatures that could utilize techniques that resembled jutsu so there may have been a hole or two but after examining the bundle of vines and finding the small creature Yuuto had a good idea of what was going on here.

As Yuuto tried to place the creature inside of his shadows to give it some comfort, Saki played the role of a rash scientist the best he knew how. The expert rushed and caught the creature putting a wrench into the plan. Anger flashed across his eyes for a moment until he immediately realized that there was no way he understood the summoner. Per being a monster slayer Yuuto immersed himself in the knowledge of different creatures, this particular discovery being something he knew a sorts of. He would let out a small sigh as he gripped the bridge of his nose. Before he could respond the excited botanist would begin to explain that he had hoped to re-grow the monster in a controlled environment and that he needed samples. Yuuto was sure that wasn't in his job description but to each their own as long as he didn't harm anyone. Even so he had the intent all wrong by slinging accusations of destruction. Kurogane would begin to speak up but for some reason stopped almost as soon as he started.

Taking over where he left off the Anbu would respond with his own choice words. "I really wish you wouldn't have done that Saki. Look I get that the itch you have to understand things you don't know believe me, but I'm not destroying this. I summon creatures from these portals and store my weapons. I was trying to separate the creature from any source of earth or nature. What you hold in your hand is not a seed, it is a greenman. It's a docile plant apparition that usually doesn't harm others unless their forest or natural habitat is in danger. This is an infant Greenman it hasn't even bloomed into full infancy and even if angered there is no way in hell they'd take that form. Greenmen utilize the nature conjuring and twisting what's around them but they don't create sentient creatures like that at least none that I know of. I believe this is the work of a third party, and they may have implanted the greenman into one of their creatures like a summon. I'm not entirely sure yet but..." He'd finally drift back to Kurogane as the shinobi yelled about something being near them. Observing Kuro revealed something different about his eye enough to give him a glimpse. His eye is more vibrant, and those veins, just what in the hell...

Yuu wouldn't have time to continue his inner comments as the ground began to shake and rumble. Something immediately broke through releasing a cloud of dust or mist, the substance was unidentified for the moment. He saw it strike Kuro but the experienced shinobi deflected the blow and tossed it to the side. Before even taking time to wait Yuuto yelled at Saki demanding the Greenman be returned. A portal opened up in his shadows while he tried to make the botanist understand. "Look another specimen just turned up and you have vines. Put that creature in my shadows, we need to protect it to return it with it's own kind. Please I'm begging you here." There wouldn't be enough time for him to continue the plea as a set of vines were set loose on him tearing through the dust. Some of the vines snapped at Yuuto whipping his back but it wouldn't sustain, as the shadow master altered the shadows around him and displaced his body for a brief moment. He'd appear closer to Saki now and would start to summon his own creature Ignis. However the numbers would not be in their favor as this tendril creature began to spawn smaller giant crabgrass like plants 12 in total.
Predatory+Vine+2.jpg

Yuuto would send Ignis into the fray as he contemplated how they could fight this beast. Even though he was actively attempting something his partners had their own time to make plans. If Saki hadn't given up the greenman the monster slayer could only hope he'd keep it safe. There was nothing worse than handing that creature back to these ones or letting it die.

Saki stood completely embarrasses, his eyes kinda... glazing over in realization that he'd jumped to the incredibly wrong conclusion in accusation at Yuuto. He looked down at the small thing he now held in his hands--not a seed, but a creature. A baby 'greenman,' whatever that was. Saki realized that in this sense, he was no longer the expert. Supposedly Yuuto knew what it was.

"I... Oh... I'm sorry, I had no idea... here, take it" he stammered out, unaware of everything that was going on underneath him.

Saki turned his back to Kuro, facing Yuuto, and offered the flame-user the infant. From behind, he heard Kuro begin saying something, but didn't catch what exactly. Suddenly, the ground beneath his feet began to rumble, and something burst through, sending Saki stumbling backwards. he fell on his side, but he covered the greenman in his arms to protect it. The botanist rolled over, looking at the monstrosity before him. It was essentially a giant vine creature, a monstrous mouth making up one end, with the other end currently not visible. Not only that, but at least a dozen little crab-like plant creatures hurdling over the ground towards them. Looking to Yuuto, who's shadow had become a portal, Saki deftly jumped towards him and dropped the greenman in. Unfortunately, this left Kuro alone, and the Vine quickly made use of this fact by sending a whip swinging towards the man. He was quick, though, and easily deflected the strike.

Saki, too, was fast, and quickly began throwing off a series of handsigns. His body, the other might notice, began to "wobble" around, like he'd suddenly lost all of his solid mass. In reality, he had. More handsigns came out from Saki as Yuuto summoned up another creature.

"If we take out the Crablets things, I can kill the main Vine!" he yelled suddenly.

Here, Saki made a mistake, as he unfortunately often did. Saki was a very, very powerful ninjutsu user, but his fighting mechanics honestly lacked. This is one reason he'd learned the "wobble" technique quickly: it saved his life more than once. Saki's mistake was focusing so much on the main Vine that he neglected several of the Crablets in his blind spot. As such, the crablets he neglected leapt onto him, quickly ripping into his neck and chest with their multiple mouths. Saki cried out in pain, but instead of blood and flesh being sent everywhere, his body bursted away into a splash of water, as though he were only a clone. The water quickly reformed a couple meters away into Saki's body, which then threw a couple of signs, leading into several thin, high pressure, drill-like tendrils of water homing in on the three that jumped on him. The tendrils ripped through the beasts, killing them instantly.

I'm ok... But I think that the Vine is gonna keep spawning those things. We need to do what you do with any weed: kill it at the root!"

Saki Summoned a Crystal Eye, which inconspicuously went down into the hole created by the greater creature, searching out for where the roots were.

The monster that Kurogane spotted underground brought along smaller versions of itself which began to attack his new friends. After his deflection of the larger creature's attack, he quickly noted that Yuuto avoided the attacks aimed at him, and Saki was able to avoid getting hurt as well. It seemed both were capable of jutsus which kept them out of trouble. That left Kurogane free to begin the counter-attack on the creatures.

The Kyoujouran went with an Earth jutsu which caused the ground all around them to shake, ripping fissures in the earth which swallowed up many of the small plants. The large, stubborn vine recovered from the deflection and made the earth expert his primary target, launching itself once more in Kuro's direction. A wall of earth protected him from the attack, and Kurogane jumped over the wall after the creature crashed into it to come down from above, punching the plant beast with all he had. That seemed to stun the main vine for a while, giving Saki time to destroy it at the root, which Kuro just realized him say before sending an eye down into the hole the vine was lurking in.

The bronze shinobi turned to the rest of the small plants that didn't fall into the fissures and prepared for his next assault...

Saki seemed to understand the situation well even after the attack he managed to be quick enough to get to his position and drop the Greenman in the vortex for Yuuto's safe keeping. Immediately that was one problem out of the way but they still had more contend with. Ignis would move to cover Yuuto as he formed more handseals to utilize two more Ninjutsu. He'd conjure a Shadow Serpent from the Primordial Realm and recreate a Clone from his Shadows. While casting this vines and crablet creatures tried to attack him but the infernal shadow spirit punched and bite at them protecting his master dutifully. With each strike the smaller crablike creatures would catch fire or become scorched, but they kept regenerating making it clear that they had to be dealt with before they could strike the source properly.

However it seemed Kurogane was already on the move utilizing his Earth jutsu to cause a tear in the ground. It seemed as though this jutsu was like a small quake and with this technique many of the plant creature were dropped back into the earth giving Saki and Yuuto time to devise a quick assault. The water jutsu user had started to "wobble"
wobble baby wobbleas if he was like the ocean waves himself. Saki was then triple teamed by three of the plant creatures but his innate ability with water proved to be most interesting. They bit down into his water like body and didn't deal much damage. Next he instantly moved into a better position to attack with water tendrils that tore through the beast.

As this went on Yuuto's miny army went to work as well with Ignist and Umbra (Shadow Serpent) tearing at as many of the crablets as they could. His Shadow Servant was fighting on it's own casting small flares of fire to harm the creature but eventually it was eaten whole. Saki was correct in saying that they would not make progress unless they could take out the main creature and it's roots. Kurogane like a true boss, would literally jump straight into the creature's face decking it knocking the beast down for a moment. At that time Saki sent an eye undergound to which Yuuto would jut his finger out. "Umbra go now!" The Shadow Serpent would follow the eye into the hole allowing the eye to be it's guide. "Saki I leave Ignis and Umbra to you. Umbra can produce black flames that burn worse than any normal fire ninjutsu. He'll listen to you now just say it's name." Yuuto would begin running for the main beast while Ignis pursued fighting the crablets.

I'll be damned if I leave it to them while I sit back directing. I can melt this son of a bitch He'd take a full sprint but the main plant would not stop. It'd continue it's onslaught with vines as Yuuto rushed in. He was caught by some of them and that's when his summon, Ignis came in biting down on any of the vines it could. The summoner took advantage of this jumping into the air getting as close to the head as possible and then brandishing his palm as a weapon. Yuuto's hand stared to glow a light green as if it was infected by some sort of energy. He was preparing a Radiation Ninjutsu something he had been toiling with recently. The Lighting + Fire elemental chakra became volatile as he charged it, and in five huge overchagred burst he released the jutsu blasting the plant. The creature crashed into the ground for a moment barely able to react to the Radiation. It's form began to lose structure as if the element was breaking it down, but the beast not killed. It was injured and even more pissed off.

Yuuto on the other hand was in pain. His hand was burned as if the jutsu backfired on him. His chakra system was being doused in radiation as the chakra cells in his hand began to react violently. He wriggled in pain on the dirt as Ignist covered him protecting him from the plant's retaliation. His summon wouldn't be able to hold on forever and it's summoner was slightly incapacitated. How would this event unfold?
-Used Ebony Nightmare - B Rank Shadow Ninjutsu
-Shadow Servant - C Rank Shadow Ninjutsu
-Nuclear Discharge [Overcharge Affinity Move] - B Rank Radiation Ninjutsu
-Allowing Saki control of Umbra the Ebony Nightmare

Kuro reacted to what Saki had said almost immediately. Seconds after realizing that this plant-thing was doing to have a root system, he leapt high into the air-- and I mean high. Higher than he'd ever seen a man jump before, to say the least. Kuro then came down on top of the best with wicked force, his punch literally dragging the creature down to the earth with him. It was gnarly. At the same time, Yuuto sent Ignis, his shadow-wolf, to fight with Saki under his command. Umbra dove into the hole with Saki's crystal eye.

Suddenly, the Vine started screeching in pain, and it began writhing on the floor, though still borderline unconscious from the punch that Kuro gave it. Saki couldn't see what had caused it, but one cry of pain from Yuuto made him realize that something had happened to him. He went down, to the point where Saki knew that those crab plants would be on him any second. From what they'd tried to do to him before, he knew that Yuuto was in serious trouble if he couldn't protect himself.

"Ignis, protect Yuuto!" he instructed, assuming that he would be able to do so.

In the writhing caused by... whatever caused it, the portion of the plant underneath the ground crushed Saki's crystal eye, and potentially destroyed Umbra. Saki wouldn't know about the latter for now. Saki's hands weaved some more signs, and a clone appeared next to him, which he willed to protect him from anything that got in his way in the next couple of seconds. The Crystal Eye had gone down, but now without showing the root system first. Saki took off, dashing as quickly as he could towards the back end of unconscious plant, clone in tow. His body still wobbling around, the botanist's clone did everything it could to protect his creator. It held at bay at least four of the crab things, then was finally dispersed by a fifth that clamped onto it. However, to to the nature of the clone, it burst into a shower of blood, killing the five that attacked it. All this gave Saki enough time to get into position for the final blow.

The ground beneath his feet turned to water, but it didn't stay that way for long. it shot up rapidly like a geyser, but much faster. Saki, caught in the force of the upheaval, was sent flying into the air at least eighty feet. He began spinning and spinning, his arms extended above his head, until after a few seconds a little whirlpool of water formed above his head. At the peak of his jump, the whirlpool quickly formed into something more deadly: a massive drill of water, formed by three spiraling tendrils of water all spinning around each other. Saki began to fall.

He fell with the drill straight down, and after a few seconds that may have well been an eternity, he made contact with the floor. Normally something like water would just splatter when it his the ground, but no: this jutsu was created for times like these. Instead of splattering upon hitting the ground, it didn't even lose momentum. Saki and his Drill began hurdling through the earth at nearly the same speed he'd been falling at. After about a second, he rapidly lost momentum, but he'd still made a twenty foot-wide hole in the floor than dug thirty feet down, and had drill through the the majority of the Vine's tap root system.

Now, a tap root systen is the term for a root system that's essentially one big root. Normally they grow straight down, but this, most likely because the plant moved, grew off to the side. So when Saki drilled through that portion of the earth, it lost all connection to its roots.

The Vine went down for good, but it wasn't dead yet. Imagine cutting off someone's head: they aren't completely dead yet. THey can have upwards of 20 seconds where they're still alive, as they're still blood and oxygen in the brain. This Vine was still alive, but it's head had essentially been cut off. All that was left was the killing blow, but Saki was currently stick in a thity foot pit he'd created.

He hadn't thought that part through.

The battle became a contest of who was more boss, with Yuuto blasting on the main vine with some strange greenish jutsu which seemed to melt away the very fabric the creature was made of, while Saki made the area a giant water park, splashing into the air then drilling his way down with an element that would normally not be able to do such a thing.

Unfortunately, Yuuto seemed incapacitated by the experimental jutsu, and Kuro couldn't help but freeze at the thought of so much water flowing around Saki. He did his best to carefully avoid any of the water landing around himself.

After Saki went down into the earth, Kuro could concentrate again, and he realized Yuuto was in a bad position, writhing in pain from his jutsu and about to be ganged by the last few of the smaller plant creatures. Saki sent Ignis, but Kuro decided to stay on the safe side and put a metallic wall in an arc in front of Yuuto, hopefully giving him time to recuperate while his shadow pet finished off the remaining small plants.

After that it was time to finish the main vein following Saki's surgical separation of the beast from it's roots. Kurogane could sense there was something strange going on with it, from something Yuuto did to it, so he decided to use a long range jutsu to finish the job, and, after flipping through some handseals, he summoned a thin metallic disc which he hurled vertically towards the being. It appeared as a flash of light cutting through the ground and right through the middle of the creature, cutting it symmetrically in two.

Kurogane stood for a moment trying to catch his breath, observing whether the beast was finally dead before turning to check up on Yuuto and Saki. Ignis probably made short work of the remaining plants, leaving nothing left to oppose the shinobi trio.

While he lie on the ground absorbed in pain Yuuto could only think of one thing. How bad did he really mess up? He felt Umbra's presence fade as though it had been destroyed, and then splashes of water trickled down his face. It would seem as though Saki kicked his "wobble" up a notch and would drill into the ground like a madman heading for the creature's roots. One thing was for sure, Cloud was going to be pissed about this property damage. Kurogane erected a metal wall between him and more creatures as Ignis fought and raged on until there were no more enemies. The hell hound giant would use his claw like hands to help Yuuto up. The summoner would pet his shadow creation before sending him off. Even though all he wanted to do was sit around and mope he still had to get this greenman home. Manipulating the shadows he'd wrap them around his arm like a thin layer of protection while he used some of the bandages on his body to now wrap up his arm. He's grit his teeth through the pain.

When Saki finally came back above ground Yuuto would address the team. "Well that was definitely similar to what I fought but completely different. If it wasn't clear to me before it is now. These things are being created, and the Greenmen are being used to amplify their power however they were trying to retrieve this one. This new creature had no source like the primrose. Saki I'd take any sample you'd need right now cause after that we need to turn these things to ash. If you have any fire jutsu I'd say help if not just chill out for a moment." Any attempts at his hand would be dismissed for the moment. He was moving right into the next task, but if Kuro took a closer inspection with his gifted eyes, he'd find that the chakra pathway and points in Yuuto's left forearm and hand were damaged. It was as if whatever element he used caused him greater harm than expected. His chakra flow was disrupted and there were signs of minor deterioration. However he would begin walking over to different parts of the plant casting the Dragon Fire jutsu, letting it burn pieces to a cinder. This would be however after Saki collected what he wished. While doing this flowers would slowly begin to grow from where the Saki drilled into ground. In a matter of moments it would become a bushel of different beautiful flowers. Then the greenery would start to take a change in form and begin to twist into an arrow. It was pointing towards the west, as if beckoning them to follow.

Yuuto felt a different kind of energy from this direction something that would give him peace within. "Come let's head this way I have a good feeling about this." The trio would pursue the path, leading them through the Ancient Forest. It seemed as though each step they took in this direction got brighter, and flowers began to pop up more. It was as though they were being led to a different place in their village one untouched by human hands. The path was so mystical that they'd likely forget how they got here. In truth it was part of an enchantment to mask themselves from normal searching methods. Yuuto was finally getting close to the greenman's home. Eventually they'd come to a clearing one that was full of nature and life. Deer, birds, fox, and other small critters would scurry about this enticing clearing. The sound of hooves would rumble through the woods as the group entered. A centaur like woman who seemed woodland in spirit would appear before them.
spirit_of_the_forest_by_rob_joseph-d71h5kq.jpg

"Hello young travelers, we have watched your progress in the retrieval of our brethren and we thank you sincerely. If you would please." It was more of a command than a request, but her voice was so motherly the others shouldn't ave minded. Yuuto would twist the whirlpools and release his passenger. The greenman who had been resting in the shadows seemed almost like it was full of life. Other ones like it would pop up instantly at the chance to greet their lost kin.
462483-greenman.jpg

"Thank you, young one. Now may I ask is there anything that you may seek from me? We if I can do anything to make your journey and good deed worth-while please let me know." Yuuto was content with his accomplishment seeing as he had generally pieced together what could have happened. These creatures were protecting themselves with an S-Class Barrier specifically this apparition was protecting them all. Someone found a way to break in and steal one of her people and likely would try again to collect more of the greenmen or sources of power. Yuuto would leave it to the others as he squatted watching the little forest spirits rejoice and play.

I felt this song was an appropriate description of this post.

The plant had been destroyed... or so the three shinobi had thought. Unbeknownst to Saki, who was still in the hole, he was in for an unpleasant time.

It took the young botanist about three minutes to climb up from the pit he'd made, but if he'd known what was really going on he'd have rushed out. See, the Vine hadn't... died, per se. It was no longer responsive, but, like any species' instinct is, it sought survival. Any living creature, when faced with death, will go to any means to preserve it's life. This is true in any organism from single-celled creatures, to plants, to mammals of all kinds. This is most often seen in humans: soldiers fleeing battle, assault victims begging for their lives, and the like. This Vine was no different.

While the creature had been killed, its roots remained responsive, much like a human's head does when it is chopped off: as long as it has the fuel to live, which in this case could be several days, it would cling to life by whatever means necessary. And the means it had was Saki.

From the twisted mass of roots (or rather, the singular root that was shredded into multiple frayed pieces resulting in a generic "mass" of roots) a small motion came. Saki's back was turned, so he didn't see... unfortunately for him. A singular piece of root began crawling--yes, crawling--toward him while he attempted to climb up the pit. It quickly caught up to him, and without hesitation jumped at his back "headfirst", digging into his skin through his clothes, embedding itself deep into the boy's body.

Saki screamed out in pain, but he didn't know what had caused the pain. He turned sharply around, but saw nothing. His lower back hurt incessantly, and he soon felt blood dripping from it from small wound he hadn't noticed before.

"It must have been from when I was fighting. Or perhaps I hit myself with my water at some point... either way, I need to be more careful when I fight."

And thus he concluded that it was simply a wound that adrenaline had hid from him previously.

Once he got out of the pit, Yuuto explained somewhat of the situation, then burned the remainder of the vine into the earth after Saki cut off a piece of the plant. . All that was left of it was ash. Then, Yuuto told Saki and Kuro that they should follow him, so they did.

It was a mystical journey; Saki isn't sure how long they walked, nor did he remember ever having been in this section of the woods before. It all seemed so... magical. And yet, despite the wonderful journey they took, Saki grew continually more sick the longer he walked. It grew to the point where he felt as though he might throw up, or pass out, or both. But by the time he felt like he should voice that he felt like something was wrong, they were greeted by a mythical-looking Centuar... something Saki was sure he must have been imagining, if not hallucinating.</FONTFACE>
<FONTFACE fontface="helvetica">

"Oh my... it would appear as though your friend here has been infected, with nature itself." The beast said. The others would no doubt wonder what she meant, and at that time notice that Saki was sweating profusely. "Your friend has been infected with Nature itself; what you just killed has attached itself to this boy's chakra system, and is feeding off of it. This is causing some adverse effects... namely, turning him into a plant. I'm afraid... there's nothing I, or any one of us, can do. I'm sorry, but he does not have much more than a day until he himself turns to what you just fought so bravely to destroy."

Saki gave in and hurled. But what came out of his mouth wasn't barf, but rather vines. They didn't come out, either; they remained hanging halfway out of his mouth, in his throat, where he started to choke on them. Suddenly, his right arm began to grow larger, but sloly converged into a tangled mess of plant-growth... stuff. He fell over, gagging.

Although the battle was over, their adventure in the forest was not. Yuuto came to the conclusion that the creatures he fought were being created somewhere, using the Greenmen as a source of power. Saki seemed to have hurt himself in the hole, and Kuro could only wonder what was going on with his chakra system. He didn't have much time to think about it as he noticed Yuuto's chakra system. These two really went all out against that thing, damaging themselves in the process. If only he could heal the chakra systems. Being able to see them would no doubt be a big help in fixing them.

Yuuto had a hunch about the greenery around them which seemed to point in a certain direction. Kurogane wanted to tell them now wasn't the time, that they had to get to a hospital and fix themselves up first before they ventured deeper into the dangerous forest, but they seemed to be drawn to something in that direction, and the large man just left it be. Kuro still had a lot of strength left over to protect them from anything that might try to harm them wherever they were going.

Along the way, Kuro couldn't help but notice the water master of the group seemed to be getting worse. His chakra system rapidly being drain from somewhere. Kuro thought he found the source of the drain, but he wasn't exactly sure what it was. It looked a bit like a tumor or something of the sort.

Before he could figure it out, however, they were greeted by a large centaur-like being and its friends, which looked a lot like the Greenman Yuuto was carrying. Perhaps they found the source of the Greenmen. Kuro was relieved for a moment, but now, glancing around the area, he got the feeling he was in a Genjutsu. He could not see as clearly as he usually did with his sensei's eyes. He couldn't figure out the way back to where they started. That made him a bit suspicious.

As the being spoke to them, Kurogane tried his best to concentrate on what it was saying, and the way it was said. He felt like he was the only one left in the group in good enough shape to get them out of there alive in case things turned sour. The centaur asked them if there was anything it could do for them, then mentioned how their friend was infected with something. Their friend? Oh no...

Kuro's eyes immediately shifted in Saki's direction, locking onto the "tumor" from before. It seemed to have grown, and began to move out of Saki's mouth, choking him. The Kyoujouran's first impulse was to turn Saki to stone to slow down the growth of whatever it was, then he followed it quickly with a jutsu to transfer his own chakra to Saki. As he transferred chakra to Saki as best he could, his head turned to the centaur, eyes glowing.

"If you are truly a friend of ours, and seek to help us, now is the best time to prove it! Do whatever you can to get this thing out of my friend and I will trust you!!" If the being could accomplish that through some sort of healing ability, perhaps it could also heal Yuuto's self-inflicted wounds in his system as well.

"I'm sorry but as I said before..." Kuro didn't even hear the rest of what it was going to say as the roots burst out of the petrified state Saki was in. It appeared earth jutsus weren't the best way to combat a plant. Perhaps he would have to handle it like the larger beast they defeated before? Kuro was running out of options. Saki was looking less and less like a human being.

Time stopped, and the Kyoujouran moved to pinpoint the creature within Saki with his special eyes. Once he had a sure shot, He unleashed a barrage of pinpointed attacks (spoiler#1) at the being on Saki's back, causing it to die once and for all, stopping the motion of the roots in his mouth, which eventually succumbed to Saki's bodily acids and fell apart, at least enough to give him some air.

Now Kuro was exhausted. He fell to the ground with a loud thump and his eyes returned to normal. Saki was safe for now, so his job was done. Hopefully they wouldn't be attacked in this weakened state...

[OoC: Man! Everyone's falling apart!! XD Now we only need the twist ending that the centaur was the one creating the root beings in the first place, putting us in a dangerous position!]

The Stagtaur Queen mused over the man Kurogane who so valiantly tried to help his comrade. While his attempts did something it did not kill the creature nestling inside of Saki. His pain would at least subside for the moment, but the creature refused to give in. As if by the grace of nature this beast would refuse to die. The Queen of the forest spirits would tower over an injured Saki and bring up an aura around him. Her spirit resonated with his giving him a calming feel as if it were a gentle breeze.

"The creature's influence has been greatly hindered however it is not gone. Your control over the water in your body is unnatural as if your Chakra is infused with it, down to it's last molecule. The seedling has taken advantage of this and feasted off your chakra and rooted itself inside of you. There is no permanent solution I can offer you, to be honest your days as a human being may become limited. However if there were a strong enough force that could be implemented in you there is a possibility that it could over-take the seedling and burn it out from the inside. You'll need a chakra stronger than your own and erratic in nature. I can only offer you a temporary agent to combat the seedling." The Stagtaur Queen would break off one of her antlers as if it was a tree branch. She would gift Saki with it and then begin to hum melodically as the animals and spirits who had flocked with her began to retreat.

"Do not take offense to this, but you are too dangerous for my kin to be around. Their safety is priority and I must return this one to his home in my realm. In the future there may be a place for you among my people if you become too far gone with the Nature growing inside of you, but as of now I cannot jeopardize my people. I do gift you with one of my antlers. My antlers are dubbed by some as the Vitanaus Wood. Break off a piece and then boil it in fresh spring water. You must add lunar and solar flowers into this mixture and drink it twice per week. I sense that will help quell the seedling inside of you, and give you more time to figure out a solution. I wish you the best young one." The Stagtaur Queen would turn and leave fading into the forest with the plant life receding and covering her exit. The spirits would fade as well leaving with their Queen as the three shinobi were left in place. Yuuto rose from the ground and clenched his fist.

"God Dammit... Saki I'm sorry I really and truly did not see this coming. The good news is we have time, and if you use that antler sparingly I'm sure we can extend it to a month. I'm going to seek answers of my own, maybe the Clan Monster Directory can help me find something that can heal you. If anything happens to you please contact me I will do whatever I can to help you further." Yuuto would sigh feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. He needed to help his friend but how could he with no unnatural chakra source? However like the hands of fate, things would fall into place for Yuuto, Kurogane, and Saki.

[Saki isn't really going to do much, so it's not really worthy of a half-assed post in my opinion... I'm sorry I've been slow posting as of late; I've been bogged! Anyways, I'm just going to leave this with a topic left tag.]
