Hunt 01: Moonlight Primrose
Sunlight poured heavily into the Ancient Forest, illuminating all the many nooks and crannies of the land. Time had seemed infinite and never ending as he stood on a patch of scorched land. It hadn't been too long since the defeat of the Moonlight Primrose, and a slightly damaged Yuuto hung about in the Ancient Forest. His forehead and torso were bandaged seeing as the direct hit from the vine was enough to fracture five of his ribs and give him a delayed concussion. The adrenaline rush helped ebb the pain away, he truthfully didn't feel it until after he delivered Gojin's ashes to his fiance. After that he had passed out and given immediate medical care. They knew that the shadow bender, wouldn't sit still forever but the medics squeezed out two days from him at the very least giving his bones medical ninjutsu treatment and then immediately casting and wrapping him up.
The forest was more peaceful now at least this part of it was. The only noises that could be heard was the faint chirping of birds and a low rushing sound of water. His mind wandered back to the site of the creature upon first contact. It was a giant bulb like creature with patches of flowers on his head. There were gigantic vines and tentacles that came from it. On the center, under the bulb there seemed to be a mouth of some sort. It had razor sharp teeth and acidic like saliva that was probably used to digest their victims. The consumed humans were reformed as plant like humanoids embedded on the bulb, and there were far more than the three reported missing people. There was no telling how long this creature had been feasting and this seemed to be a first of it's species or at least the first Kumo had run into.
He could remember the rage he held at seeing the creature. It was just thrashing about angry at the flames he had made it taste. The many innocents who fell to this incoherent beast, had only driven Yuuto's rage more. He unleashed two constructs from the Primordial Zone, both wreathed in ebony flames, both seeking a swift destruction for their master. The Serpent's malice was a harsh thing to swallow, it made Yuuto wonder where this shade came from and why the killing intent was so strong. Was it due to his own nature or that of the Primordial ones? Sometimes the line between man and creature was so hard to tell, especially for those in the Masaru. However hunts like these could always reinforce that his clan was on the right path. A creature like that couldn't be calmed down, there would be no way for them to be calmed. They were predators and thought of anything lesser as food. Survival of the fittest seemed to fit it best. Even so the human will never faded, even as Gojin's husk lied burning away into cinders he remembered the smile and the "tears" the husk produced at being freed.
His mind would snap back into the current reality as he awaited this specialist Kumogakure would be sending to him. Another shinobi who was well versed in plant life was supposed to be on the way to help further the investigation. The Ancient Forest had always been full of mystery and wonder, but never had this creature appeared so it was a mystery one that needed to be thoroughly investigated. Even while under injuries Yuuto still wished to find a means to answer his inquiries about the Moonlight Primrose. He also wished to seek out other creature's dens and determine how dangerous it was to other species. While there were a lot of creatures who were "evil" or "dangerous" there were some who were peaceful, kind, and gentle. The kind of benevolent creatures that brought good will and fortune. If nothing else he was not only protecting Kumogakure, but also those critters as well.

-Yuuto is bandaged, wearing clothes that cover him but not hiding the obvious injuries he sustained
-A black and crimson sheathe is on his waist with a gold plated hilt sticking out.
-The forest is quite sunny, and the ground that he's standing on is charred and scorched by flames. The markings are a few days old.
-Birds are chirping and the sound of rushing water can faintly be heard
-To those that can see what the normal eye cannot, there are still small vines and roots underneath the ground. They hold some type of energy in them but are mostly dead.
