Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Okay.... Kureji is lost.... Like really lost this time! He swears that he was going to some fancy shmancy restaurant to try and book a seat for him and Kohana. He was told the directions and was told that he can't miss it. Spoilers. He missed it. By a super long shot, apparently.

Instead of turning back, the rock star would keep walking. He stuffed his hands into his pockets as he walked. Maybe this will lead to some super secret place that nobody has ever found! Treasure? Maybe! There was silence with the only sounds being his footsteps and the slow drip of water that perspired in the tunnel system.

He himself was completely unaware of whatever that may be hiding here. He could definitely feel certain powers here even though he isn't a sensor type ninja, so whatever is down here must be really strong. Eventually, he would come across some remains of a person. He assumed it must have been from a small sandworm or other creatures lurking here. The missing ninja would shrug it off and continue on, totally ignoring all the warning signs and red flags that are just now presenting themselves. As he walked, there would be more bodies, which kind of intrigued him even more.

Finally, Kureji would stop walking and rummage through the pockets of one of the corpses. It was a note. To whoever reads this.... There is a.... We thought about the riches of treasure however.... We couldn't even get past that monster..... Turn back..... Yourself.... There was blood splashed all around on the note so Kureji couldn't read much of it. But he got the gist of it. A monster was lurking here. Though he thought it weird that some dude was dying and his first thought was to make a note to warn others. Seems counter productive, as this is where he died. And if he died here, that would mean that whatver killed him must be close as well.

The missing ninja would chuckle to himself. This will be interesting should he come across what has done this to all these people.

Kazuki had ventured through this tunnel system for a few days now. He had been alerted that people were consistently missing from that area and despite all efforts, whatever was causing such deaths had yet to be caught. As an Hybrid Ancient, the Senju Overlord was fearless and he decided to come in alone and hunt whatever was hunting in there. As usual to his unnatural nature, the air around him dropped noticeably, frost appearing at the edge of the tunnels, only to disappear as he ventured forward. Shadows seemed to be more intense and livelier, flickering like a candle in the wind. His presence wouldn't go unnoticed and Reaper was counting on it. Whatever was lurking in these tunnels wouldn't want to be caught or disturbed and would surely lash out at whatever was endangering his hunting grounds. The White Wolf was certain this was a beast of some kind, given the remains he had found and studied, but he was slightly caught of guard when he sensed another human roaming the tunnels. He wondered if this fellow ninja was doing the exact same thing as he was or was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. Using a shadowy thread of chakra to find where the human was, Kazuki silently made his way toward the unsuspecting human. "I will give you ten seconds to explain what are you doing in these tunnels?" Although pretty sure this fellow was not the culprit, there was always the smallest of chances that he was and the Senju Overlord was not in a gaming mood.

Kureji would feel a presence before even seeing the person. And that is saying something considering how he isn't even a sensor type ninja. There has been few instances in which he has felt the presence of someone powerful, but never to this scale. His usual playful demeanor was gone, with more of an emotion of piqued interest.

And then the voice came. Kureji still held the note in his hand as he scanned the darkness but can't really see the person. Must be just out of his field of view, he thinks. "Believe it or not, I got lost. I'm not particularly the best at directions. But after reading this note one of these guys made before they died, I kinda want to fight whatever killed them."

He would hold the note out for the mystery person to take if they want to. Of course, Kureji was telling the truth about it all. While these people went on a dangerous expedition for money and glory, Kureji came in here lost and now wants to fight the thing that wiped out the whole expedition team. But even with that said, Kureji doing this all improvised, he knows that his usual tricks won't work in here in case if he does run into a monster. He is all about loud music. And these caverns might not be the best place to be rocking out in.

Somewhere in the cave, there would be some type of fifteen-foot-tall creature that stood on two legs, each look like they could hold a grown adult down. Its own head was disproportionately

bigger than its own body. That is because its own body seems to be sunken in, matted fur and the smell of something rotting. They would both be able to hear it coming with its tremendous steps. The cavern walls would vibrate with each step this thing took. And finally, it would step into the dim light from where Kureji had found the dead expeditioners.

They would be able to see its own flesh rotting off of the creature as it would reach a gnarled hand to grab one of the bodies and tear it open. As it did so, its own flesh would seem to mend itself. Blood would flow freely from the body it gorged on. Even with how twisted Kureji's own mind can be at times, he was a little sick to the stomach to see such a thing. But nevertheless, he would chuckle to himself, "Now this you don't see everyday." He would ready himself for a fight with the monster.

Whether or not the other guy helps him or not is up in the air. But for now, Kureji would reach out one hand, the air would shimmer around it before reality would bend to his will. A guitar would suddenly appear in the missing ninja's hands. He can cast his genjutsu through his guitar but he has to be smart about this. He doesn't know how well the cavern walls would do with his normal rocking out behavior, so he would have to make do with only small quick strikes of the chords.

By now it would seem the creature had taken notice of the pair, or at least Kureji. It would let out a low growl as it sniffed the air, testing the waters of a new potential prey.

"Believe it or not, I got lost. I'm not particularly the best at directions. But after reading this note one of these guys made before they died, I kinda want to fight whatever killed them." Was the stranger's response after being questioned for the reason that he was there in the tunnels near a massacre. The answer came quickly without hesitation whatsoever. Kazuki was a good judge of character and he was usually certain when he was being lied to. It wasn't the case here. The stranger was truthful, at least in this matter. The Silvery Haired Man noticed the fellow was extending a note he had in his hand. A shadowy tendril would rise from the ground near Kureji and would pick up the note and hand it over to Reaper. The corpses that were on the ground belong to treasure hunters that had been hunted instead. Poor, misled people that had faced an untimely death. The note did confirm that there was some kind of creature lurking about and the former Sunan Sennin had to hunt it down. Luckily it would seem his search was over. The sound of footsteps reached their ears as something large approached them with the confidence that only beasts would have. Most creatures wouldn't approach two grown shinobi willy-nilly like this one seemed to be.

"Now this you don't see everyday." the stranger would comment which would prompt a nod from the Senju Overlord. Despite his unnatural long life and having lived in three Hidden Villages, he had never seen such horror before. What manner of creature were they facing? "I am going to assume you have never seen this before? And if you have, care to share what this is? I am Senju Kazuki and it would seem we are allies, for the time being at least." It was a way to make amends. Shadows would begin to congregate around Kazuki's right hand. As seconds passed, the mass of shadows began to take the shape of a sword. A black bladed sword, with 9 colored gemstones along the blade itself (white, the colors of the rainbow and black) with a skull like handguard. There would be no partey with the creature, only flesh meeting steel. And music as well.
