As Kazan walked through the streets of The Hidden Cloud village, he noticed it was seemingly growing empty by the second. Each person he laid eyes upon began to dissolve in thin air, as if some outer worldly being had just snapped his fingers and erased them out of existence. Shocked, but not surprised, Kazan began to walk the streets of Kumokagure and watch this occurrence happen over, and over, first hand. There was nothing he could due except bare witness to the end of time and wonder when fate would come calling. "Why hasn't it happened to me yet?" He wondered, as the sounds of his armor clanking began to echo within the streets of Kumo. "Yogan.... Roka...." He spoke, whispering the names of his family under his breathe.
Even if he could find them in this moment, the inevitability of what was happening would soon find them as well. The thought was daunting, and his emotions were held tight. Kazan wasn't a man who would cry over the loss of something due to someone he couldn't control. Still, shouldering the burden he headed towards The Dragon Tooth Pass. He wasn't abandoning the village; no, quite the opposite. He was seeking solace, one last time, out deep within the lowlands of the country. "I wonder what'll happen to Kitsune, and Abyss?" He questioned out loud, before stopping and turning to look at the village one last time. In that moment, he saw many other civilians begin to crumble away before his very eyes.
Gritting his teeth over this tragedy, holding back the painful thoughts of the inevitable, he grabbed his cape and slung it to the side as he turned around and began walking down the pathway. After Several minutes, something odd came into view. As he approached it, he realized it was something straight out of a sci-fi book. It was large, green, and swirling; the landscape behind it had disappeared and turned completely white as if nothing were there at all.
"What's this." He asked, as he reached out to touch it. Once his fingers reached the green swirling mass, echo's of new adventures, old friends, and a unknown possibilities flooded the air. It was almost as if Kazan could hear all those who were seemingly snapped out of existence once again. "I see." He stated, as he begin to laugh uncontrollably. If there were any around who could see him now, it'd be a scene straight out of a movie. "Looks like nothings ending at all." He said, as let loose a sigh of relief. Turning back, to face his home once more, Kazan raised one hand to the sky, and shot the over worldly being the finger as a final goodbye.
Turning back towards the portal, he braced himself. He wasn't exactly sure what was about to happen, but he was willing to take the risk. "Hope you guys saved me a seat! The Scarlet Serpent is Coming!" He shouted, as he jumped into the portal. The world as he knew it was gone, and a new Adventure was about to begin.
