He couldn't believe his ears when he came back to the shop he had visited yesterday, only to find out that all the masks he had liked had been stolen. He just thought of what kind of mask he would get once he was accepted as a full fledged ANBU. Maybe he could choose his own, he ddn't know, but he liked looking at the ones in the shop, they all were artworks in their own right, especially the ones that were the most out there. Only, if he was to wear a mask he would have limitations using his Sharingan, but that didn't bother him too much enjoying the look of those things he would likely never wear, ANBU Masks seemed more simple in design. However, they had been stolen now and there was nothing he could do about i- no wait he had already accepted the request to get them back and was on the way to get them back. He didn't really have a clue about the suspect, he only knew that the person must have been there around 3 pm, when the owner had been called to the back for just a few minutes and someone had to have entered to steal the masks. So the only clue he would get in any way, was to ask around, his first guess were the people working on the other shops around the costume shop. First was the bakery, but they didn't see a single thing, said they would instead love if the costume shop shared costumers... The ramen stand didn'T know anything either and send him away almost immediately, while the flower shop didn't even have opened. He was almost about to give up as he didn't have a single clue after his sixth shop, but surprisingly an old lady walked up to him and said she saw someone run off with a bunch of masks just the day before, but didn't think it was a thief. He had her explain and found out the thief must have been a guy by the name of Kotarou, a notorious mishiefmaker. Kuro even got his adress, so it was easy for him to just up and got find the guy, It didn't take long to get there, the guy just lived down the street, seemed like everyone in the street actually knew eachother if they actually noticed another. Kuro was, as always, bothered by that same fact of people being so close to eachother, but he wouldn'T complain right now, it was to get a thief. For that, he simply walked up to the guys door to see if he was at home and knocked. After a few seconds he heard some noises inside and then foot steps that were drawng closer. At that the door opened and a masked person appeared. "Yoichi! I expected you!" Kuro looked unimpressed at the teen he seemingly had found. He expected the thief to be older, but this was fine aswell, made it easier. The boy seemed a bit flustered as he pulled the mask off and tried to hide it behind his back. "Well, you're not Yoichi." He said and immediately got himself a headbutt that knocked him out. "RIght, I am the law."
And with that he took the boy up on his shoulder to go back to the shop where he was greeted with confusion, but he managed to explain the situation and bring the masks back aswell as he was assured the boy would get his just punishment, which Kuro didn't really care for. All he cared for was an easy job done and the rewards in his pockets.
