Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Weapon Name: Tetsuyaiba
Weapon Description: The gauntlets received from Kuro, or Byakko to be more precise, were strange indeed... Entirely made of metal, or what one could only assume is metal, yet warm to the touch. A mere glance can tell anyone that they almost seem.. Alive, sentient even, and that they wear Yanjirou - rather than the other way around. As for their appearance, the gauntlets fit to Yanji's hands perfectly, and have claws at the tip of each finger, each one sharp enough to pierce skin with a simple tap.

Yanjirou primarily uses it to intimidate anyone who would try to hurt him, but is no novice when it comes to using it, utilizing a strange technique that involves stabbing rather than slashing.

Weapon Description: After being given a couple of tips from a stranger, Yanji quickly began to change up his fighting style, utilizing not only two types of attacks with his katana, but also hiding a dagger for when he wants to surprise his opponent. The katana is the same one as before, with the same white and gold color scheme, while the dagger is a simple blade purchased from a blacksmith in the market, with a plain wooden handle and no exciting details

The more he thought about his weapon, the more he realized that longer ranged attacks would be equally as beneficial as being able to throw the senbon, so it was time for a few upgrades. The most notable ones being a small scope, crossbow string modified to fire the senbon, and separate button next to the other to load and fire the senbon. The string and scope fold when not in use, and are readied at the first push of the newer button.

As used to their own tricks as they are, it's very difficult to fool an Opportunist with other tricks and illusions. So, too, is it more difficult to put them under Genjutsu than the average ninja.

[spoilername="Teamwork 108 WC"]Despite his anti-social nature, Yanjirou has always know the importance of teamwork in any activity he may be involved in. From the simple spars against his parents with his sister to silly games he might have played... With his parents and sister, he's always known to co-operate and communicate with whoever he might be working with, regardless of how sure he might be of his decision. Which might even be difficult for him at times, given that he even knows he's a total smart ass. Which may be viewed as ironic, considering that he isn't smart enough to realize that smart ass is an insult to most people.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Acrobatics 133 WC"]Because of his parent's association with the tiger god Byakko, their cat-like abilities were passed onto their children. Or Yanjirou at the very least. Among things like enhanced hearing and sight, one of the more noticeable abilities he's gained are dexterity agility. Since a young age, the child has been able to maneuver in ways most other kids cannot, jumping higher, doing flips, and whatever else whenever he felt it necessary. And as any bright shinobi would do, he began to apply his natural born abilities in combat. Doing fancy flips can be more than impressive after all, mind games is just as important as your actual ability to fight. If you can't distract, fool, or mesmerize your opponent, there is likely a much higher chance that you'll be killed before they are.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Quickdraw 117 WC"]Yanji's opportunistic fighting style, inspired by an eventful encounter in the Sietch Zensunna, has taught him many things on how to practice it properly. One of these ways is whether you give yourself the advantage or not. It's simple to assume you have the advantage, especially for those who have enough power, but if you aren't even given the time to reach for your weapon, what's the point in all of that "power?" This is something the boy has been sure to remember and practice, the ability to draw your weapon or reach for your items as quickly as possible. Whether to surprise his enemies or defend himself against those who have the same ideas, it's essential.[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Called Shot 129 WC"]Yet another important skill to have, is the accuracy to hit the target you intended to hit. Big or small. This allows you to aim for vital organs, with just the simple knowledge of human or animal anatomy, which in turn allows you to disable enemies without even having to kill them. Or if you're required to kill them, it makes it far simpler than trying to tear them limb from limb in attempt to drain them of all blood and organs just to ensure they're dead when you're done with them. Damned neanderthals... Perhaps you want a hand? Or an arm? With enough precision, a steady arm, and enough power, you can slice through ligaments as if you were using a hot knife against butter. Always satisfying...[/spoilername]

[spoilername="Strategist 139 WC"]Any good shinobi should know how to use their tools well. But any great shinobi knows how to use their items really well. With that in mind, Yanji made sure to think of a variety - variety being an understatement - of ways to use not only his shinobi tools, but also other items that he thought might be useful in combat. Attaching certain items to kawarimi targets, either to disable their weapons or make an opening, or even attaching ninja wire to his own weapons to help him be a little more precise. Extensive knowledge acquired from different books certainly helped as well. Even fictional texts could give him ideas for alternate uses for certain items, which gave him the idea to use oil to make his opponents less stable. Which gives him an obvious advantage if used properly..[/spoilername]
