Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The dark metal of his body slipped out of the water silently as he gently lifted himself up to the heavily armoured boat. The mechanical and bioengineered muscles in his hands clasped the railing as he lifted his masked head over the lip of it to gain line of sight to the immediate area.

The ever present mist that gave the country its name coiled over the deck, making the search lanterns placed speradicly across the deck give of less light and more obscurity as they vainly tried to keep the grey wall at bay, though the fog was not deep enough to completely hide the ships occupants.

There were six men on deck, four of witch he recognised from the Mission briefing, there was Kazuo Taoka, a small time Drug Smuggler and full time heavy for hire and two of his boys, the cleaver brothers (a nickname well earned, at least in reputation). The final recognised face was that of Shin Kamatsatsu, successful business man and opportunist... his Primary Mission Objective and the formers apparent employer.

The last two men were unknown factors though their bear chests boldly displaying full torso tattoos, crisscrossed intermittently with wide, angry looking scars, and what appeared to be Cursed Seals interwoven into the patterns created by the two, one had hair tied in a warriors tail, the other shaved with tattoos continuing onto his bald face and scalp.

(Insight & Human anatomy) Their tattoos and scars told a thousand little stories to Yong's memory, recalling what each meant, taking note of the angles of the scares, estimated depth of the damaged tissue and how recent the damage had taken place, learning their defensive weaknesses, what angles to attack from, all would be taken into account if they needed to be neutralised to complete his mission, and any opening would be enough. The Cursed Seals were of more concern to him, none of which he recognised despite his intimate knowledge of such... They meant power, not to be underestimated. He subconsciously labeled them Subject A and B respectively.

Yong slipped silently onto the swaying deck, his feet moving with ease across the slippery timbers, his chakra assisting him to not slip and give himself away. (Economiser) The blade of his black katana cut through the swirling mist leaving a darker trail in the air behind its arc as he drew it, ready for his next course of action. Without a sound Yong used his Nara inherited abilities to slip into the shadowed deck, leaving no trace. Moments later he stepped bodily from the mast, appearing from the shadow cast by the large sail.

One of the tattooed men, 'A', looked momentarily to the spot where Yong had been but seconds earlier. He turned to his companion, 'B', nodding almost imperceptibly to the other. B turned towards Shin, "We are not alone..."

Shin stood quickly, reaching for the sword at his hip and drawing it with an obviously inexperienced hand, he lowered it to his side, letting the heavy tip bite into the decking. He cleared his throat before speaking in a clear strong voice,

"We know you are here assassin, you have betrayed yourself... Give up." He stared blindly into the mist, totally oblivious to the threat directly above his head, "You are alone and outnumbered, you cant possibly kill us all."

He continued to stare into the mists, his eyes scanning the deck for any tell tale signs of the yet unseen assassin, "show yourself now, little shinobi of the Mists and I promise I will spare you, but I warn you, I wont make the offer twice." A smirk crossed Shin's face, sure in the knowledge that he had the upper hand in the situation, after all, one mist assassin against five hired shinobi, there was no doubt in his mind, he would come off better in this encounter.

He was wrong, Yong moved like lightning to the deck, his katana slid into Shin's spine with well practised ease, the bone offering no resistance to its razor edge. Yong twisted quickly, lifting the shocked but helpless man off of the floor. The katana forcing its way through the mans sternum through the gravity of his own twitching body. Another twist and a slide to the right made the blade scrape down the mans ribs before messily bursting from Shin's body, the red mist of arterial spray looked almost comical in its excess. 'Primary objective complete...' Thought Yong as he stepped away from the recently inhumed target.

As the limp form of the primary objective thumped unceremoniously to the now blood slicked deck the five remaining occupants of the boat turned to him, though only the three known goons showed any sign of shock, which was quickly replaced with action, wicked looking weapons seemingly appearing in their hands. They began to circle the dark, metal clad shinobi, their intent obvious.

Yong spoke first, a metallic whirring starting behind the mask as he spoke, the words coming out as no more than a whisper through his masks vox caster "...My mission is complete... there is no need... for your blood to spill... for this man..."

Kazuo grinned, showing stained and yellow teeth, a side effect from his years of drug abuse, "Now you see you got that mixed up there friend, I have no intention of letting my blood spill... Yours is my intent... You have made me look the fool is what you have done, killing someone under my protection right in front of me, now that just ain't on, so my boys and I are going to teach you a lesson, murdering people what has paid me to protect 'em is just not on. Now we goin' to have to put you down..." The thugs at his sides grunted and snorted a laugh at the threat, in that silly laugh that bullies with a limited intelligence seemed to employ when they were about to hurt someone.

The whirr began again before the words "...so be it." escaped in barely more than a whisper. The cleaver brothers both lunged, bringing their wicked blades down in punishing arcs, a practiced manoeuvre of the two, designed to take a man at the knees from one side and at the neck from the other. The mens movements seemed in slow motion to his highly enhanced senses, Yong brought his katana up in a blindingly fast strike, sending the hand, still holding the wicked cleaver spinning across the deck in a shower of blood. His stepped to the side, spinning around the second strike and connected with his knee to the would be attackers face with a sickeningly wet crack, caving in most of the cleaver brother's right cheek and eye socket and sending him unconscious to the floor in a bubbling heap, pooling blood gurgling in the throat of the quickly expiring man.

The other cleaver brother fumbled to reach his recently severed hand, lifting it with his remaining hand and began to ply his fingers free from the hilt of his weapon with his teath. Through sheer adrenalin or willpower he regained his feet and turned to face Yong again, though his face had drained of almost all colour.

(Clarity) The deck of the boat seemed to heave unnaturally rocked for a moment but all had become calm again as the rolling green hills spread out before him, his goats walked lazily, munching unconcernedly on the plentiful grass that surrounded them endlessly into all horizons... A goat bleated, which seemed to speak to him... On some weird level in his subconscious... "Not Right... Not Real" a genjutsu then? Yong concentrated for a moment, sliding his perceptions through realities and returning to his body, finding himself laid out on the deck of the boat, his katana some feet away from him.

Kazuo stood over him, his eyes spinning with the sharingan, cursed uchiha eyes... Yong made a mental not to update the mans file when he returned, and to collect as usual. Nowhere did it say he was uchiha...

Yong remained motionless, allowing the deception of his minds return to remain undetected. The remaining cleaver brother began to stumble towards Yong, cleaver raised above his head ready to deliver the killing blow.

'A' the first of the unknown shinobi moved to restrain him, clasping his wrist in an iron grip "No! We need him alive, that was the deal."

The only living cleaver brother stared with hatred at the man holding him from his revenge, spitting anger with every word he spoke "He fucking killed Ken! He fucking killed him! And he fucking took my hand... Im gonna fucking kill him now." His arm struggled in 'A's grip in a rage to complete his deadly intentions, 'B' moved fast, sliding his hand under the cleaver brothers chin and wrenching it back in one movement, fountaining arterial spray over Kazuo. The Uchiha stood in open mouthed shock before 'B' offered his explanation "he was getting on my nerves, we don't have time for this shit, get the subject ready for transport before he wakes up."

Kazuo grinned, it took more than the needless slaughter of his subordinates to shake him for long, especially when the amount these two had offered him to take protection duty for the business man... The bait... "He will not wake up sirs, he is in paradise until I bring him back, you can count on that." The Uchiha reached to tap the seemingly unconscious Yong's helmet but found unnatural resistances stopping his muscles moving (concentrated focus).

The mechanical whirr again accompanying the two simple words breathed out of the motionless, metal clad shinobi "...Wrong again..." The bind had been successful, he had all three trapped in his nara shadows, now to make the seconds count.

His individual hands began to blur through two sets of hand seals, black chakra coiled through his fingers as the seals moved almost faster than vision.

'B' sighed, "he has played us for fools gentlemen... I suggest you brace for what is to come next... As well as you can under these circumstances..." Though he could not turn his head his eyes swivelled towards Yong's blurring hands (jutsu mastery & jutsu creator). Yong rose to his feet, as if lifted by the shadows come to life. His hands came together for the final few hand seals, the two chakras mixed together violently as the air erupted in black fire, the flames surging through the three stationary men, seeming to pass through them unresisted, leaving them unharmed, though bright streams of chakra poured from them, in the direction of the shadow fire and the smell of burnt flesh filled the air. Abruptly the tirade stopped, all three men falling to the strangely unscorched deck, no sign of life, as the souls had been taken, not by him but by the gate of Enma which had surged through those flames of shadow.

Yong moved silently and retrieved his katana, sheathing it before walking to the lifeless bodies of 'A' & 'B'. He knelt beside the body for a moment, staring at the unactivated cursed seals before deciding on a path to take. He removed his flencing knife and began to skin the men.

His headset crackled to life, the voice on the other end so familiar "**Yong I just monitored a huge flux in dark chakra at your location... I trust everything is under control?**"

Yong reached to the side of his mask with blood slicked fingers, pressing concealed locations to cause the visor to retract. Continuing with the bloody work of collecting the tattoos/cursed seals for further study he responded to the caller, his voice no longer distorted by his mask he spoke in a clear voice, though it was still accompanied by the whirr "...all finished here brother... Im bringing back... something you might find... interesting..."

Aparently I already have insight too... I will do Healing Factor instead please. Thanks for everything else :)
Rp Healing Factor: Yong spun through the air, his blood trailing thickly behind him untill he eventualy came into contact with the hard corner of one of the little Villages buildings. The assailant had taken him seemingly by suprise and had delivered a devestating blow to the Metal Anbu, his mask had slid meters away from his body and his face bled profusly.

He raised his head in apparent dizying pain, looking to the dominant attacker. A large ronin stood dauntingly with war club held expertly in both hands, his deep voice boomed out from under his Oni adorned and large horned mask"Ha Ha Ha... You without honour can not hope to be victorious in this place. The people of this village saw your cowardly attack comming and hired me to defend them from you. I am Kiranashi Mayamoto, The Mountain Samurai, the terror of Mist, and you will be my next victory. Ha Ha Ha!"<i></i>

Yong stood up smiling, no signs of weakness were now present that were so obvious but a few moments ago, he clicked his neck loudly and smiled at the Ronin, his hand moving to his headset as his wounds closed over, the bleeding stopping without medical attention. The Ronins smile began to fade as Yong drew his Katana, black chakra bigining to singe the air and drip melovently onto the ground as he walked towards the Ronin "Primary target affirmed... Will inhume and return with the parts you require brother."<i></i>

The Ronin stumbled back defensivly as Yong moved forward, but it was to late for him. The moment he had identified himself he had signed his own death warrant...

The small ship tossed on the tumultuous ocean, partially obscured by the ever present Mist that surrounded the country. The boat was populated by pirates and smugglers and he had bought passage at great expense, attempting to assure his safety upon the aggressive ocean. They had watched him walk on board, staring covetously as he had removed three precious stones from a belt pouch to pay for passage.

The shadows were no longer his to command, now that his inner demon had left him he would need to master other jutsu. His Darkness had been his main weapon for all of the life that he could remember, but since the demise of his chaotic 'brother' those innate Nara abilities that had been his by blood were also denied him...

Had Migoya used his own Nara blood to heal Yong after he had been tortured and mutilated? He now felt a weight lifted off of his shoulders, feeling the elemental chakra of the other elements, those of earth, fire, lightning, wind and water flowing where only shadow had been before.

He knew the fundamentals of how to combine jutsu to change their element into one of the advanced jutsu but he had never tried it before, the shadows had always taken dominance up until this point. No longer an option he would have to evolve to survive. He read through a book he had brought with him, one of the many books taken from Migoya's library before he had left Mist. The book contained details on the finer manipulations of chakra and advanced elements.

He read for hours, but there was only so much to be learned with out actually taking action and putting theory into practice. He would find a place with some space and begin the practicals.

The metal armour clicked on the wooden deck as he moved to the stern of the ship to gain some relative privacy. Setting his feet in a familiar stance he began rolling chakra through his metallic arms, letting the chakra form in a natural way rather than manipulating it to form chakra of the usual shadow element he was use to.

He felt the rush of ocean wind blow past him, he let the element infuse him, the pages of the book still clasped in his hand fluttered violently as he held the particular page open with his thumb. The chakra swelled around him causing a zephyr to lift the water particles in the sea air to mingle with the chakra infused wind.

The particles spun through the air, the light of the sun refracting the particles in the air, dazzling him in light and reflection. He felt startled, he had lived his life in the dark, it had enveloped him. Now he was no longer trapped by this darkness, he would live in the light.

He focused the chakra spinning around him, turning it to a more aggressive purpose. Reflective shards materialised in the air, spinning violently around his motionless form.

A voice broke his concentration, "Oi'" the spinning chakra mirrors tinkled onto the deck, breaking like glass as they impacted the hard wood.

Yong turned slowly towards the speaker, seeing a burley sailor with a drawn cutlass standing menacingly only meters away on the deck of the rocking boat "I recognise you Shinobi... Your the coward that fled the Mist Village... I have seen your ugly scared mug on the wanted posters." He waived his cutlass with meaning towards Yong's belt pouch.

"Perhaps if you... Find some way of persuading me, I wont turn you in to the captain..." He grinned and gestured again, obviously wanting some compensation in the way of some precious stones.

Yong smiled at the man, he began to speak as his mask slipped over his scared face. "How astute of you." Yong manipulated the chakra as he had just let slip, the shards rising off the deck again, and joined by new refractions in the air.

"I will give you one warning, forget you saw me and I will forget your impudence." His eyes noticed the gathering of other crew members turning their way, belaying pins and various weapons at the ready.

How perfect, he would get to test out new theories a lot sooner than he had thought or anticipated.

The sailor with the cutlass sensed his intentions and dived forward with his weapon raised, ready to take the precious stones by force. Yong dodged the vicious blow , leaving a streak of metal through the air.

The wind whipped around them, causing micro cuts to shred over the sailor. Yong's chakra controlling the violent mirror shards. But the sailor did not stop, his follow up blow knocking the book from his had and into the mirrored shard storm. The book torn to pieces in seconds by the flying mirror shards.

The sailor continued, impressing Yong with his stamina at fighting through the mirror onslaught. Now, though, chakra infused paper ad joined the micro maelstrom. The irony of the book on chakra manipulation now being manipulated by his chakra was not lost on the metal Anbu. He flicked his hands through familiar hand seals, though never used in this order, experimentally to test the limes of the manipulated paper.

The paper coiled like iron, wrapping the fighting sailor like a mummy and causing him to land on he deck of the ship with a thump. He moved to the bound, motionless form now laying on the deck, and lifted the now dropped cutlass. He felt the crew begin to surround him as he raised the sword, ready to deliver the killing blow.

A booming voice echoed over the deck, his eyes moving in the direction of the voice. "If you harm my crew any more, your life is forfeit and the sea will have you!" The captain stood, aiming two crude flintlock pistols at the poised Anbu.

Yong swung down with all his force, feeling the blade sink through the man's flesh, feeling little resistance from the bones and cartelidge and sinking deep into the ships deck.

He heard a unified gasp from the collective crew a moment before the air was filled with twin roars thunder, the acrid scent of gunpowder permeated the air on the deck of the boat.

Yong looked down in shock, seeing the red ichor of his life blood seeping through two great holes in his armour, the metal depressed in perfect circles.

Yong dropped to one knee, his blood dripping onto he deck. Blood. He knew blood, with the chakra still flowing through the air he felt a burst of inspiration fuelled by pain. The chakra infused blood pored unnaturally out of the wounds, spiralling into the vortex before striking out violently at the crew, impaling indescriminantly and launching them into the broiling ocean.

As the captain began to hastily reload his flintlock, fear now present on the mans face, but it was too late. Yong flashed forward, his hand pushing into the captains sternum, his blood seeping down the armoured gauntlet. He infused the captains blood, absorbing it into his own body. He felt the captains life flow from him with a shudder at the same time as the two lead balls fell to the deck and the wounds seal over.

Yong let the limp form fall over the side of the ship and into the water with a splash.

His masked slipped back again, his face in an evil grin as he stepped over the side of the ship to join the floating body's in the water, landing lightly on the surface ad beginning the long stroll to shore.

He was no longer a child of the shadow, now he had seen he light he would use it to its fullest capability.

All in one RP:
Yong stumbled through the sandy mangrove, throwing jutsu aimed at his nimble enemy. Every jutsu missing the nimble pirate's un-armoured body. The pirate shinobi could do no major damage to the Steel Anbu despite the relentless flurry of senbon, shuriken and kuni that were flying with unerring accuracy, though eventually Yong knew that the plethora of minor wounds would take their toll.

The frustration of the pirate's ineffectual attacks somewhat alleviated by the fact that Yong could not connect due to his ridiculous ability to dodge, through the mangroves he was using as his hunting ground, a wicked grin on his face, through attrition he would eventually defeat .

Yong was weighed down, sinking into the mud up to his knees. The pirate must have done some sort of jutsu to make the chakra manipulation usually used to stop one sinking into the water or muddy bog. His equipment weight was dragging him back in this fight, and he needed to do something about the Pirates speed.

Unslinging his backpack and letting it drop into the mud, the kilos of gear sinking quickly into the bog. He lifted himself quickly from the bog, landing on one of the many mangrove trees that made up the Pirates preferred hunting ground. They would be his only perch of stable footing since the path that lead through the beach head had been washed away in the Pirate Shinobi's first, surprise, attack, obviously a very well practiced manoeuvre to catch unsuspecting travellers. Yong wondered how many unsuspecting travellers had fallen victim to the Pirates trap.

Focusing Fire chakra into his handseals he moved through a series that would form a massive fireball to launch at his would be murderer. The fire ball scorched through the mangrove, scaring trees that had stood for many years but before it connected with the pirate it had lost most of its fury in the damp conditions. The Pirate Shinobi did a simple jutsu to raise the muddy water as a temporary shield against the dulled flames. Dispersing it inefectualy.

The pirate laughed mockingly, "Ha ha ha... You have to do better than that, a little damp for fire!" He threw a fuma shuriken with another pin point accurate throw, conecting with Yong's mask, cracking the screen and sending it spinning into the much. "...And now your defences are falling, soon you will be nothing more to me than some muddy loot!"

Recoiling from the unexpected Fuma Shuriken, he began to fall from the trees. His hand reached out, grasping a branch and swinging himself back onto a trunk. He was a seasoned Shinboi though so the stumble did not put him off for long, his hands coming together in the seals that mage Electricity, the pirate could not defend himself from electricity with water.

The Lightning arced through the branches, the shock on the Pirate Shinobi's face at the sudden attack quickly replaced by the evil smirk as the Bolt of Electricity harmlessly earthing itself on a water soaked trunk that he had moved himself behind with another unnaturally quick dodge.

"You will have to do better than that... But it is too late for you, the moment you fell into my trap you were already dead!" He threw another fuma shuriken as he spoke.

Now it was Yongs turn to grin, he combined the two elements he currently had flowing through his hands, combining into a bean of plasma energy. The focused beam cutting like a hot knife through butter, slicing through the Fuma and blazing through the mangrove . This time Yong had thought it through, aiming straight for the Pirates shin, slicing through the bone and severing vital tendons and muscles.

The Pirate screamed in pain as he colapsed, though yong would not let him drown in the deep mud.

Yong moved through the mangroves, his chakra keeping him afloat now as he walked away from the crucified, crying man. He had let his backpack sink in the bog but he didn't mind, he had overpacked himself which had limited his accuracy, no longer would his enemy's limbs be safe from the combined plasma beam targeting vital limbs. Those who opposed him would feel even more pain at his blood soaked hands.
