[spoilername="History"]Shun was raised in a village close to the main village. His parents abused him daily leaving deep scars on his body that would never heal. They did this because they enjoyed it. Shun's parents viewed him as their property to do with as they please. After a few years Shun closed himself off from the world. He was only a husk that's only reason for being was to receive his parents abuse and make them happy. His parents grew bored of him not responding and decided to throw him away. They left him at an orphanage a few towns away; it was the first time Shun had ever been outside. The orphanage was ran by a kind old lady. The old lady would take Shun around town and show him the outside, which he had no experience with, and he fell in love with it. It was the only place he felt safe. Whenever he was at the orphanage though, he would hide away anywhere he could to get away from the other kids. Eventually, he opened up to the old lady and stopped being a complete husk. As the years went by his emotions came back to him, though he still had trouble showing them. Just after his ninth birthday Shun overheard the old lady talking with a visitor about how much debt the orphanage had accumulated. Shun knew he had to do something to help. The old lady had helped him so much. Thinking it over, he decided to become a ninja and help her pay off the debt. He wrote a letter explaining where he was going and sneaked out that night to head to the main village.[/spoilername]
