Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Since taking a devastating blow to the right side of her face in the student tournament, Miyako has been suffering pain and blurred vision in the Sharingan that inhabits her right eye. She fears that she can lose this eye and the ability to use her Sharingan in both of her eyes. As an Uchiha, this is a nightmare that almost constantly haunts her thoughts and dreams. If she were to lose an eye, she would be only half of the Uchiha she is now. In an attempt to save this, she has been doing intensive research in the academy library. The history of Shinobi is an intense one and it seems to all stem from her own clan and the Senju clan, the one famed for their use and strength in Wood Style jutsu. To be able to save her eye, she will need to meet with one of the most powerful Wood Style users that she's ever seen or heard of at this point in her life, Tatsuo. Hopefully Satio can vouch for her to his Sensei and roommate.

After leaving the academy, a large scroll draped around her body by a small strap, Miyako enters the residential district of the village, venturing far through Maple Town, to the end that almost reaches the gate. She looks up at the building and sighs openly. Hopefully Shinzo read her note and will be willing to come with her to make this large request to the Sensei that she hardly knows anything about. He might try to kill her for making this request, but it's something that has to be done in order to save her vision and make her a more powerful shinobi for the rest of her life. She pops her knuckles and runs her hands through her hair to get most of it out of her face, though the long mane is very hard to control. She steps up to the door to Tatsuo's home and lays down a few hearty knocks, hoping he's home and hoping that he'll at least answer his door so that she can get the idea proposed to him. He may take offense to such a request, though Miyako has nothing but good intentions with such a large question.

Her hands tremble, growing cold and clammy... He could be an intense man, or he could be incredibly understanding. Whichever, hopefully this request won't get her beaten, or worse, killed...

[Requesting Tatsuo, Shinzo has been invited, Saito welcome because this is his home.]

“Miyako-chan! Wait for me!” Called a voice just off in the distance as a small cloud of dust made itself visible at the end of the street. At the epicentre of the dust cloud was he figure of a boy dressed in blue, his arms bare apart from hand wrappings that were woven around his fingers and stayed that way up to half way up his forearms. They seemed worn but not overly dirty, to anyone watching carefully they would see that this boy took great care of his clothing and appearance. Though to Shinzo this was only a new thing since his attention had been caught by the Uchiha girl. The air resistance he faced forced his frince back over his head as he ran in the direction of the girl, in his right hand he clutched a piece of paper which would be all to familiar to Miyako as it was she who gave it to him. For a Seikon, this run had been one of his slowest. The nerves of the moment had been building up since the moment he left the academy to make his way over to catch up. There had been a few stumbles along the journey here, never before had Shinzo had such weak knees.

‘I hope I’m not too late. She’s probably gone on without me. I knew I should have read the note as soon as I picked it up. This is all my fault. I hope she isn’t mad, I haven’t been this late to anything before.’ Within the next half a minute, Shinzo had managed to catch up to Miyako. His breath wasn’t particularly short, the boy was used to making similar runs but for wildly different reasons. His heart beat faster and faster as he looked upon her. His cheeks grew into a rosy red shade but this only lasted a brief moment, he could see that she wasn’t completely confident about what was about to happen. “Are you okay? I’m sure it’ll be alright, I’ll help with what I can.” Shinzo offered Miyako a warm smile, hoping to seem calm and confident when faced with the potential of meeting a complete stranger who could have very well been on the other side of the door. A moment passed and Shinzo took a breath, he was ready to keep his confident persona active and hopefully Miyako would find that interesting. After all, he did just sprint all the way from the academy to spend some time with her.

Black smoke pillowed over the fence as the meat sizzled on the grill, Tatsuo had taken the day off from missions and decided to grill some burgers. He wasn't sure where Saito was but Tatsuo never pried all that much, he was free to come and go from the house as much as he wanted as long as he didn't get in any trouble. Considering Saito was probably smarter than Tatsuo he never worried all that much. With one quick flick of the wrist he flipped all of the burgers as he heard a knock on the door. He had no idea who would show up at his home, he wasn't even sure if he told anyone where he had moved in. After a few knocks he came behind the door and said "I'm coming, i'm coming!" Emerging at the door they would see him wearing a flak apron. At first he had looked up, but his head shot down to the two kids at his feet. "Oh, what's up?" he'd say casually before looking over his shoulder.

"I'm not sure if Saito is here, but you guys can look around the house." Taking a step back and opening the door to the two he'd let the two enter the house, he wondered why the girl looked so intense and hoped Saito hadn't broken her heart or anything. Sighing to himself he hoped his student wasn't a heart breaker, he didn't feel like getting bricks thrown through his windows. "So what are you guys names? I'm Tatsuo." he said giving a quick dip of the head. Tatsuo himself was pushing a little over six feet and had the typical build one would expect from a shinobi, lean but not overly large. While he was obviously confident in his movements and showed little hesitation in anything he did, it was obvious he had a very aloof air about him. Almost as if he was living in his own little world.

Hearing a familiar voice calling her name from afar helps to soften the tension that engulfs her entirety. The cloud of dust actually makes her smile, she knows that Shinzo read her note and hurried after her. And the note remained in his hand, this made her smile wider. She reaches out and goes to fix his hair out of impulse, her fingers dancing around his brown locks and pulling them out of their upright positions. “Thank you for coming, Shinzo.” She offers him a bow of her head, “I’ll need as much help as possible here.” The truth is, she’s absolutely not confident about what will happen in this conversation with Tatsuo. Shinzo has confidence for the both of them, but hopefully he has more than that in case thing are to go sour.

As Tatsuo opens the door Miyako’s heart sinks to her toes and she feels almost lightheaded. She looks up to him and sighs openly. Miyako enters the house and places her hands together, “I have a somewhat unorthodox request, but I’d like to sit down and have an actual conversation with you.” She completely skips over offering her name out of a crazed sort of panic. “My name is Miyako.” She almost blurts out and bows respectfully. He’s very intimidating in size, but he seems like a very humble and soft spoken man.

Having finally caught up to Miyako, Shinzo held the smile that had been present on his face. Of course he was absolutely ecstatic to be able to spend time with her, his face alone was evidence of such a thing. The green gems that the boy had for eyes looked up to meet with Miyako’s gaze a split second before she motioned to fix his hair. ‘Stay calm, stay calm.’ The young Seikon thought to himself as he felt the gentle touch of her fingers amidst his brown locks. A wave of calmness flooded through Shinzo, while his cheeks remained red it became more and more evident that his embarrassment was fading. Miyako had acknowledged him, she had invited him here and now she was fixing his hair of all things. For Shinzo this moment could last a lifetime, he and Miyako stood at roughly similar heights but just to make sure the difference wasn’t too noticeable Shinzo kept himself stood up straight.

“Yeah, I came as quickly as I could.” At this moment the boy was brimming with confidence given the situation. For a second he had even forgotten about the fact that they were here to do more than just socialise. Oh but how the young boy wished he could just spend some time with Miyako. His gaze was gentle, a warm and welcoming look of acceptance, a look that subconsciously saw past any and all flaws (but really the boy couldn't point out any flaws if he tried). The smile he held grew smaller but no less joyful, it shrunk to the point at which it actually fit his face quite nicely instead of being the overwhelming feature. Now with his hair fixed, the boy looked relatively comfortable in the presence of the Uchiha that had caught his attention many a time. “I’ll do all I can to help.” He bowed his head slightly towards her before the door swung open to reveal the shinobi bearing a flak apron.

After Miyako had introduced herself, Shinzo found himself stepping forward to give his introduction. He gave a quick thumbs up and then placed his thumb in the centre of his chest as he spoke. “I’m Deguchi Shinzo. The fastest ninja in the world!” He paused for a moment. “Or soon will be...” The second utterance was just a simple statement made under his breath thanks to the fact that the boy still remained an academy student. “Yeah I think Miyako just wants to talk at the moment, sir.” His eyes flicked back to Miyako who seemed to be struggling a little bit with something, potentially the presence of the older ninja. The young boy moved to catch her eyes, offering a slight nod of encouragement to her and a playful wink. She had nothing to be afraid of as far as he knew so there was plenty of reason to help her smile and get through the encounter. Shinzo was pretty sure that Miyako knew he was there to help her through this, but now he just needed to know exactly what ‘this’ was.

"Fastest Shinobi alive, eh?" Tatsuo said looking down to Shinzo, "In a year or two i'll believe it, but I think Hoshi might give you a run for that title." Laughing at his own bad pun he shook his head and wondered how Hoshi was doing. It'd been a while since they've talked, he should probably send him a message or something. Letting out a quick and inaudible sigh he lead his way into the home. When Miyako suddenly remembered her manners and was quick to introduce herself and bow, Tatsuo gave another short bow but waved his hand after. "Don't worry, i'm not that much older than you guys. Don't need to treat me like an old man." He said jokingly as they entered the home.

Tatsuo looked to the two as they walked into the house. Shinzo seemed as if he'd rather be bouncing off the walls and Miyako seemed like she'd rather be pulling her hair out, the tension was beginning to bother him. "Water?" he said walking over to the counter, a pallet of water bottles rested on the floor as he bent down, popping the cap off one and drinking. If either of them requested one, he'd toss it over. Tatsuo kept a close eye on both of the children, he was trying to figure out what was wrong without having to ask but Miyako seemed to do the favor for him. A request and a conversation, "Well I can't accept the request without knowing what it is, but a conversation sounds good to me." he said moving over to the couch and taking a seat. He placed his hands on his knees and leaned back, it was a bit awkward talking to children like this. He really hoped it wasn't just a prank or a joke.
