Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Guess I had to start this at some point...

First I'll be designating which items use up my three slots:
-Antidote
-Med Kit
-Smoke Bomb

I'll also claim my D-rank minor affinity. I choose Wind.

Making a weapon too:

Name: 把持の模世 - Haji no mosei (Grasp of the mock world)
Description: A small wooden crossbow painted black, with about 30 centimeters in lenght. It is engraved with white wavy lines on the sides and it has a grey string. The front arch of the crossbow is painted in a very dark blue colour.
Type: Ranged - Piercing subtype
Effect: Chance to inflict bleeding.
Accuracy: +5%
Damage: -5%
Augments:
1- Adding Primal (if possible in creation)
2-
3-

Claiming ability: Elemental Illusion
Akihito had always been rather good with his illusions. Genjutsu was one of his best subjects after all. And a few fights before proved his point rather well. But they were always missing... Something. Some extra possibility. He spent days thinking about what he could possibly add to make himself stronger and, in the end, he came to a conclusion. His new affinity allowed him some leeway in controlling Wind... What if he could add it to his genjutsu? And thus Akihito spent various days engrossed in his epiphany, analyzing the way his elemental chakra interacted with his illusions and going over the various results. In the end though, he had done it. He was one step closer to his desires.

Claiming ability: Illusionist
Akihito was rather frustrated. He had realized that his specialization had a rather big problem. The moment someone noticed he was weaving his illusions, they would simply rush him and he was absolutely dreadful with all forms of taijutsu. Said frustration fueled his desire to improve himself. After all, injuries would lead him to waste his time. That just would not do. As such he spent quite a while refining his technique and making sure no one would notice his presence if he was hidden upon casting it. All the training did have a benefficial side effect. His illusions were now more capable of affecting people with a natural resistance to illusions more easily. That was a truly useful development.

Claiming ability: Jutsu Mastery
Akihito had been working hard to perfect his jutsu. Despite his higher affinity to Genjutsu, he knew that overspecialization would not save him and, as such, he worked as hard as possible to make every technique he was capable of doing more efficient. It wouldn't do to leak chakra all over the place. He trained over and over again and eventually he was capable of doing it. He understood that he had finite chakra and that the best way to put it to good use was to use less of it for the same outcome or even a better one. By doing this he would be able to stay in the fight for longer and thus defeat his adversary.

Claiming ability: Mind Overflow
Akihito had always felt comfortable using Genjutsu. It was easy to warp the mind of another being, to make them see what he wished. To impose his will on their world would be another way to say it. Molding chakra into illusions always felt comfortable and, over time, he became more profficient at at doing so. He became so profficient that he was capable of making his adversaries even more affected than one would expect from the illusion used. The art of filling one's mind with his chakra was one he was so good at that his targets would suffer more than from a mediocre illusionist. Akihito grinned at the thought.

Claiming ability: Stalker
Akihito was never the best close combat fighter. One might even say he was under the average. As such he could not allow himself to be seen, as such a thing would allow Taijutsu user to close in and defeat him. He was an illusionist so it was a plus if the enemy was unaware that a Genjutsu had been cast on him. An easily seen-through illusionist was a dead one and Akihito fervently wished to avoid such a fate. As such he trained himself in stealth, making himself as hidden as possible. Unseen and deadly, the enemy would not know they were under an illusion until a crossbow bolt tore through their throat.

Claiming ability: Shattered Reality
As a Genjutsu user, Akihito was aware of the effort using illusions took in battle. They were not as flashy as many ninjutsu, they were far more unassuming and more like a dagger in the dark but, more importantly, they did not hurt the adversary as badly. A genjutsu was a technique designed to last longer and do damage in different ways than a simple ninjutsu was capable off. Despite that, sometimes one required that damage. When the enemy was too stubborn to back down, more drastic measures had to be taken. Thus Akihito learned how to break his illusions in a far more traumatising way than just letting them run their course. Damaging the mind would do as well as if he had targetted the body.

Claiming ability: Elementalist
As he became more profficient with his main affinity Ninjutsu, Akihito discovered that he was capable of empowering his techniques in ways that he was unable to do others. Make them hit harder, more focused, a plethora of different effects. He was always restricted to one effect though. His ability never allowed him to empower his Jutsu further. He could not accept such a thing and thus he studied it using his main affinity. If he did it with Wind, then maybe later he would be able to do so with others. His sweat and tears payed off when he fired a Wind Ninjutsu far more powerful than he thought himself capable. It truly was a good day.
