Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Fall , Year 13

His eyes heavy, his eyes waned as did his body, but he still trudged forward with determination still in his heart, refusing to falter until he would reach home. It was a long, arduous journey, If one could say that, beginning with his capture after attempting to save his kin, to it's climatic end where he not only fought a great daiyoukai to the death, but discovering something breathless upon his lengthy return to Izumi, something he had never thought he would live to see, a daughter. Staring into her fledgling eyes as he looked upon her infant form, his crimson eyes could only dispel a truth. He found himself witnessing a infernal abyss like none other, like nothing he had ever seen before, even from his older sister, who wielded the same eyes as him, allegedly. He was breathless. One day, this child would be special. For what end, he couldn't know, for in the back of his own head, he was still much too young to know his own place in the world, little less hers, but regardless, he refused to let this treasure whether away in isolation. While before, he dreamed of returning home upon "proving" himself, he had no idea what would be his destiny or what purpose he would play within his Clan, or even IF he would still be able to marry Shizu, or be forced to elope with her, but after holding his daughter in fatigued, ever weaking arms, he felt something within himself he had never felt before. Was this what it felt like to be father? Frankly, he had no clue, not a soul he could ask for guidance, but the more he looked down at her, and seeing the potential that burned within her, his path was clear. He would return home, and do what was just, to do what was required of a father, regardless of the consequences. He would secure her future just as his parents had done for him. To see otherwise, he couldn't stomach it, despite being overly hardened for his age. Still, he steered himself for what was to come, a showdown he he had never given thought to before until now, a confrontation between himself and his own father. His stomach curled slightly at the thought, but than he remembered his climatic battle with the great daiyoukai at the throat of the world, and the callous his father often showed, and proudly displayed. In a instant, that curling vanished, instead replaced with determination in his eyes. He never thought he would challenge the clan head for dominance, but there was no turning back now. His daughter's future hung in the balance, and he wouldn't certainly live life in exile, not after all this. Despite his mistakes, his father would accept him back into the fold....or he would kill him. It didn't matter the outcome, it would end in the way he desired, consequences be dammed.

Yet, in despite of all that, even with new found conviction and purpose, there was one thing he had forgotten, If only for a few moments, his fatigue and injuries. It was no hidden truth's that between the journey itself, and the battle with Masuda, his body had taken a toll like it never had before, his prior death like training not even coming close. Him returning back to the isolated, abandoned shrine was a journey it on itself, nearly took his life several times in his severe weakened state, and now he spoke of doing of equal consequence? No, his body and even mind needed time to recuperate, to heal and mend the wounds he had sustained. It would not be a quick process, even with his new found mastery over life itself, but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to, especially in these last few years. So, as summer came and went, he found himself at the mercy of his self proclaimed wife, and her infernal pranks and what other mischief activities she could crank out. He would never admit it, but in his great time of resting, he found some enjoyment, especially when they included his infant daughter, allowing him momentarily to leave his hardened shell. Every moment as a father was a experience he had never felt before, but he wouldn't trade it for the world. It rejuvenated him further as he recovered from his past struggles. He only wished she was older, or at least old enough to run around. The thoughts of exploring the woods with a fiery, energetic, one tail Kitsune put a smile on his face for the first time at a point in his life, he couldn't even remember the last time he smiled. It gave him a hope for the future. Summer would come and ago, and so would the fatigue and the injuries that was plagued him for so long. It was unexpected, considering he had never heard of any shinobi taking this long to recover. He could only guess it was a combination of pushing his body far beyond it's normal limits and unlocking the fabled Mangekyou Sharingan, did it do him in. He had wished he could have trained somewhat in that time, but his infant daughtered evened it out for him, regardless of the times her crying had nearly drove him insane.

On the eve of fall however, with the leaves beginning to turn orange and shades of brown, he found his strength returning to him, his fatigue gone, allowing him once more to continue as he was before. This meant only one thing, returning home, and by extension, the village. A daunting thought, but he swiped them away in his mind. He had already made up his mind, there was no going back now. There was the eventual confrontation with the Raikage over his disappearance from the village for so long, but he deal with that once he got to that bridge. Given the rumors he had before his capture, he no idea how she react. Some would fear it, considering her martial prowess, but he didn't, the warrior spirit still lingering inside him. If the worst came to be, he take pride in the fact It was Lady Raikage who kill him, not some lovely bandit. Regardless, on a calm morning, with the morning rays barely shining, he departed the comfort of the abandoned shrine, and began his long, arduous journey back home with nothing more than what he had returned with, his possessions ranging from his chipped, damaged Odachi, which he had carried since before he was even a mere Genin, to his still, old leather backpack that carried what little supplies he had on hand. With the exception of his new fur clock, he now found himself now donned in a new Senninbari, courtesy of Izumi. He could tell she spent long hours on it from the craftsmanship & love she put it in. For once, he gave her slack, understanding the full extent meaning behind this gift. Perhaps he was too harsh on her, despite the mischief she's caused, but there was no doubt, he could feel his daughter's essence within it's fibers. He couldn't explain how, but every moment he concentrated, he could feel it. It was like she was right besides him. That put his mind further at ease as he began trudging down the dirt path that would eventually lead him out of the forest and back into the familiar lowlands of his homeland. Hours upon hours would pass, with the sun reaching the middle of the cloudy sky before he would finally be granted freedom from the cursed forest, granting him the sight of rolling plains and the land's infamous mountain range in the distance.. He had arrived back finally at the lands of civilization, though, It remained a mystery, just long it would take before he would arrive at true civilization, for the lowlands were massive in scale, and there wasn't doubt he was most likely on the outskirts of it. Regardless, after taking in the sight and a fresh breath of air, he exhaled and moved on, making his slowly into the lowlands from above.

Days went by in a blur while he traversed through the lowlands. While Initially nothing on his journey besides for the countless stretches of plains and the occasional sparse tree's littering the lands, memories began flooding back as he edged closer and closer to civilization.....If you could call the sticks of the village civilization. Still, despite that, It was quite the journey on itself just getting to where he was now, spending several days under the moon, hunting game and running simulations on the very confrontation that may result in his untimely demise. His mind was jumbled somewhat at the thought of facing down his father. He was a stubborn man with little care for weakness. Even now, despite all the progress he had made, he was nothing but a waning flame to his older sister, a woman, even now, he still looked upto. The concept of taking his father's life in a honorable duel wasn't something foreign. He would do it, If it meant reclaiming what he lost, and especially If It mean forging a future for his newfound daughter. Now that was something he was still struggling to wrap his head around, and rightly so. Most his age were barely teenagers, most likely still Genins, experiencing the normal lives of one expect, but not him. He was not like them, clearly. Regardless, he wished he could come up with a plan If his elder sister appeared, but he held neither the martial prowwess or wisdom she held. He sighed at the thought. There was also the chance she simply allow it to unfold, though he wasn't certain about that. He knew their father passed her over in favor in him, just because he was a male. That sicken him to his core. She was more of a shinobi and warrior than he could ever be, and she was simply passed over due to her gender. Looking towards the ground, he nodded his head somewhat in depression, closing his eyes for the moment. Perhaps when he is the clan head, things will be different. If not, Shizu will have something to say about it. She was one who was very vocal about merit after all despite her....rather calm looking deamonor.

After some more time had passed, he found himself on yet another dirt road, yet his mind blinded him with memories of the past, forcing him to remember when he used to run down this path for exploration and adventure when he was a child. If his memories were indeed correct, he was getting close, since this was often a dirt path his kinsmen often used to get to the now, abandoned iron mine nearby. No doubt that location was another banditry, but that would be something he would deal with later. He had no time nor love for bandits at the moment, not to mention his weapon of choice wasn't exactly in the greatest of shape, especially not after these last few days.

Walking down the central road leading through Gosha village, he found himself hit with nostalgia. It was a emotion he wasn't entirely prepared for, nor expecting. Despite the numerous glances gazing down him, he felt himself at home for the first time in a long time, despite their eyes saying otherwise. His eyes darted in all direction as he heard the dirt come undone under his leather boots. Despite being two years, the village remained unchanged since the last time he had ventured through. No surprise there. Regardless of those eyes watching, he couldn't help but form a smile, no matter how faint as he kept traversing down the "main" road of the village, his ear hearing the occasional giggling from a child or two, enjoying a simple life. His smile turned to a smirk. He missed those days, remembering when he used to goof off or worse, doing things not considered politically correct, such as hiding out somewhere with a certain beauty he was always destined to marry. It wasn't long before he stumbled into the "marketplace" so to day of the village. There were, of course, numerous women of various ages and professions going on about with their daily routine, chatting with one or several or standing at their stands. He momentarily thought to perhaps get something to eat, but he didn't want to possibly cause a scene or be forced to answer questions, at least for now. That was his plan, but as per usual, as he strode through the every busy village center, a young girl with wide eyes, ran upto him, holding a basket of bountiful goods, fruit. She stopped right in front of him, and starred up, seemingly not bothered by his cold, calculating crimson eyes. "Hi there minster! Are you new here?~" Her voice soft, she spoke words while she held up an apple in the palm of her hand. Closing his eyes momentarily, he made a faint smile before petting the top of her head, his fingers ruffling through her hair, causing a series of light giggling. "Something like that......here." Taking the apple from her fragile, small hands, he reached from within his yukata and placed one of the very few gold coins that remained on his person since his disappearance two years prior. In a non surprising response, he was met with a smile and a cheerful tone. "I'm Nao! Thanks minster!" Before he could respond further, his eyes watched as she ran off with her basket in hand. In the distance, he could see her mother staring him down like he was something to fear. Perhaps her motherly like instincts were right, but he couldn't help but shrug at the scene before turning in the opposite direction. Soon enough, he found himself standing on the outskirts of Gosha village, his sight now plagued by it's farms, the bustling noise of the village now gone. As he saw the roof of his clan's ancestral home, the mighty fortress he was born in, he could feel the cold autumn breeze brush his Yukata and linen pants underneath. His eyes took attention of the ever changing season as decaying, brittle leaves were given flight, blowing in the gust of wind that flew past him, and the feeling of the wet dirt underneath his feet. As he ventured forward, albeit at a snail's paste, seeing no reason to rush, which would no doubt lead to a confrontation for the age, It would be foolish of him to deny there was a unsettling feeling within him. His fate, and perhaps the fates of others was going to be decided in just a few hours yet he didn't hesitate in his movements, his strides were filled with purpose after all. Another challenge most likely was awaiting for him. He sighed happily, he supposed this was a good day to die despite the circumstances surrounding his return. Apart of him was even looking forward to it, his father choosing to be the merciless, cold man he had always been, even during his time as a child.

With every step he took, he found himself encroaching closer and closer to his destination. His crimson eyes beamed forward, ignoring the crisp whistling of wind blowing through the tree's as they thinned out, slowly revealing clearing where his clan's ancestral fortress stood proudly. He stared down it's all too familiar, massive gate that loomed ahead, still adorned with the Tamashi family crest, a simple, yet enraged fire in the form of a soul. Most took it as a symbol of the raging fire within the hearts of their warriors, but this couldn't be farther than the truth. It held a dark secret it's clan would take to it's grave before telling anymore. He wasn't even sure if the Raikage knew the truth. Perhaps it would be for the best If no one found out. Regardless of it's origin or meaning, with his sight still locked in place, he could feel the weight of it's expectations, of his responsibility he had falter in, but that wouldn't matter soon, knowing that once he passed through those gates, his life was about to change forever.....or be five feet under.

Despite the overwhelming pressure one would feel however, the sound of clashing steel put him at ease as he neared the gates despite his presence had been long detected ago by those on top of his ancestral home and those on the ground. He could see them Donned in his clan's distinctive pitch black armor and their faces adorned in demonic looking masks, there was no doubt about it. It was the members of the Destroyers, the elite shinobi, killer warriors of his clan, a steep remainder to the enemies of this land, that some of the most fiercest warriors in all of the region stood here, instilling fear into anyone who dared challenged his home, and the land of lightning. Even with his ascension to new levels, being able to muster the fabled Susanoo, he knew very well he couldn't hope to best them. Perhaps a few If he was lucky? But all of them? That would be a death sentence, though admittedly, he wouldn't mind such a honorable death, taking pride it would take the Destroyers to put him down If needed, reminding him sometimes of the harsh reality a warrior like him must endure.

Now only a few dozen feet away, he could feel their presence locked onto him like a moth to a flame. His sharingan instantly picked up on the numerous Destroyers on the walls, all taking aim at him with their color matching black long bows, taking aim with man killing, sized arrows, while on the ground near the gate, stood three Destroyers with one hand sitting on the handles of their blades, ready to draw in a moment's notice. That didn't stop him from approaching. In doing so however, another took the cue to his approach, and the one in the middle broke off from the two, taking steps towards him, no doubt the Bugyo of the walls. A large man no different from the other destroyers, he took notice of the man's dai katana, otherwise, he returned the glare, showing no hint of weakness.

"Identify yourself immediately outsider or we shall respond with lethal force..."
Standing his ground, his eyes beaming down the colossal warrior that stood before him, he raised his voice, one riffed with a equal measure of cold, stoicism.

"Tamashi Seto, son of Lord Tachi and heir to the Tamashi Clan..."

For a moment, there was silence, so thick the tension, one could cut it with chakra of a blade. Regardless, It only took but a brief few moments for the atmosphere to change, as the Destroyer Bugyo snarled underneath his demonic black mask, his voice curling in pure, cold disbelief, evident by the tone he took as he spoke.

Destroyer Bugyo
"Do you take me for a fool whelp? Lord Tachi's child & heir perished over two years ago on a self assigned mission, and yet, you dishonor his death, no matter how pitiful it was, and you dare assume his identity? You will pay for this grave dishonor....with your life."

Hearing this man's unforgiving words, his three tomoe eyes watching the Bugyo's hand slowly reach for the handle of his Dai Katana, he understood this sentiment well, most likely having the same outlook If he was in his boots, and yet, the longer his words rang in his mind, it unleashed a deep anger within himself he couldn't explain. It was something so simple, something he had expected, something he knew he wouldn't be bothered by, and yet, It had the opposite effect. Something within him snapped, triggering a inevitable confrontation.

"You dare challenge my claim Bugyo? So be it!"

Returning with a cold response of his own, his anger took over, his tolerance level for this conversation having reached it's threshold. As a consequence, his crimson eyes suddenly snapped open...

revealing the three tomoe, star pinwheel design in his eyes, unveiling his fabled Mangekyou Sharingan. Such a immediate showing, threw the Bugyo off, causing the man to instinctively draw and raise his dai katana from it's sheath located on his hip. The men behind him followed suit while those on the walls kept up on their aiming posture, their human sized killing arrows still aimed on him, ready to fire on their Bugyo's command. Than it happened, without hesitation or warning, golden flames shot up from the ground, erupting the immediate ground around his body with holy fire, triggering the Bugyo falter a few feet back as the spectral remains of a horrifying, ethereal kami took form, encasing it's owner in a spectral suit of golden armor, taking the form of an armored, one horned oni. Moments later, amidst the darkness from within it's helmet, it's two menacing green eyes pulsed awake as it's great, golden shield suddenly materialized in it's presumed, left arm. Amongst all that, If the scene was horrifying enough, ghostly flames erupted and seeped out from it's undeath like body, revealing it's wielder's top weapon...

The Susanoo..

Between his unexplained anger, and the Bugyo's instinctive kicking in, despite having taken a few feet back, his eyes, despite being awe struck, kept staring down the ethereal monstrosity, now his blade seeped in blue chakra. It looked the warrior intended to cut him down or die trying, but would a fight break out. With his Mangekyou Sharingan activated, he waited patiently for the first move to be made, for the Bugyo to give the command to attack. Though he had no intentions of killing his own Kinmen, there was a part of him that desired this, wanting to further test his Susanoo to see it's limits...

For several moments, there was nothing but eerie silence by the two, near colliding forces. He stood there unfazed, ethereal flames erupting all around him, his golden suit of ethereal armor protecting him. His eyes kept their mark on his target, the Bugyo. The man was still holding his ground despite being clearly outmatched. If he was anywhere else, he would be surprised, to be able face down death with no issue, but not here, not in his domain. No one became a destroyer in this domain without holding conviction similar to his own, ready to stare down any threat, even immeasurable odds, for something greater than his own. Still, even Drestroyers were still human. Through the use of his Mangekyou Sharingan, he took notice of the slight trembling in his hands while he held his dai katana. The men knew exactly who and what he was dealing with. After a few moments, the Bugyo tilted his head ever so slightly while he sheathed his dai katana back into it's saya. There was continued silence for a moment before it was finally broken.

tcsb.png

Destroyer Bugyo
"Forgive me....my lord...I shouldn't have questioned your identity. Your father is in the grand hall, attending a clan meeting."

He gave the man a slight nod from his head while keeping his attention on him for a moment further. Despite the unexplainable anger he held moments ago, he felt no ill will against the Bugyo, was simply doing his job. He relinquished his spectral armor encased his being, it's golden plates disappearing, it's enraged flames dying down, it's green, pulsing eyes vanishing as the Bugyo turned to the walls of the ancient keep.
"OPEN THE GATES!" The man's voice commanding as expected, It took but a few seconds for the ancient keep's wooden, reinforced gates to slowly, giving him his que it was time to keep going. He walked past the hulking man, and those who were him at the gate. Despite their glares and whatever else they might be doing or thinking, he ignored them. He kept his eyes on what was infront of him, the gate like doors to the keep itself. Walking past them and underneath the archway, he found himself standing at the base of his old home's courtyard. Comprising of countless buildings, ranging from stables, garrison houses, store rooms, shops and even houses. His eyes moving in all directions, his mind absorbing it all, he watched as several Zakko tradesmen contiuned their craft, with one in particular catching his interest, who was in the midst of creating a Nodachi. There was, of course, the numerous Kenin servants running about, no doubt fulfulling their duties to keep this well oiled machine running. Despite his appearance, they seemingly ignored him, too engrossed in their work to apparently care. That was fine. With a slight shrug, he began making his way down the cobblestone main road and past the midsection until he arrived at the keep itself. His eyes gazed up it's mighty, high staircase. At the top, of course, stood two Sirens. Unexpected, but not surprising, as evident as the Bugyo told him there was a clan meeting underway. They were no doubt his father's, but he didn't recognize them. Well, It had been two years after all. Who knew what had changed, or how many servants his father had taken on personally. Regardless, that wasn't going to stop him. Without another thought, he ascended the staircase until he stood only a dozen or so feet away from the gate like doors. For a moment, the Sirens stared him down with a deadly cold glare, as If measuring him up before one nodded to the other. It was clear they didn't trust him, but being Sirens, they must have felt his presence or at the least, seen his Susanoo to know he was the real deal. There was only two individuals after all, who possessed the sharingan, his eldest sister and himself. So with that, in utter silence, the two opened the gate like doors to his clan's ancestral home, granting him permission to enter. Walking through the doorway, it was time to make a entrance.

Upon stepping through the thick doorway, he found himself standing in a large, rectangular room, the entry hall. Despite having been here more times than he could ever hope to remember, his eyes couldn't help but take in the intricate, ornate wooden carving imbued into the walls and pillars in the room. It was possible to ignore the numerous adorned the walls, depicting pivotal moments in his clan's history, including the departure from their ancestral lands after they were exiled for their craft. There was, of course, several depicting his clan's symbol hanging from the several pillars that littered the room. That was to be expected obviously. What was unexpected was the incense that filled the air around him. It caught him off guard initially, triggering him to almost cough. He had forgotten the servants often put out incense prior to a meeting to make things more pleasent for the meeting's guest, no doubt his mother's idea. Thinking of her, however, no matter how short, sent shivers down his back, which was ironic. How could he be more scared of his mother's reaction than his own father's when she wasn't even a Kunoichi? He shoke his head lightly, removing those thoughts from his mind before his eyes took focus on the double, ornate wooden standing on the opposite side of the room, leading to the great hall, where the meeting was being held, where his father resided. He returned to his senses, and despite several servants gazing in his direction, no doubt curious about his sudden and abrupt appearance, he ignored them entirely as he approached the doors that stood between him and his rather abrupt return to the clan.

Mustering the strength within himself, his hands pressed against the warmth filled double doors, the wooden, intricate doors making a loud, screeching noise as he opened them before stepping through the passage he had made. On the other side, he stood at the very heart of his clan, the very great hall that had been used for centuries, maybe longer, to determine the future of his people. Standing there, he kept his demeanor sharp, cold and stoic before moving past the ancestral portraits of his most esteemed ancestor, including their founder, Mausima, the fabled, the lone samurai who stood against more than ten thousand warriors for several days straight before finally dying in battle. His eyes couldn't help but fixate on the painting for a moment. If fate showed him a kindness he didn't expect, he would aspire to be like him and his eldest sister, true warriors worthy of legend, carrying out to their duty to the absolute end. Walking past it however, he refocused his sight back on what was Infront of him, Amongst the room, there still sat the immense, wooden table his family and other important kin would use for dining. The stone fireplaces ajcent to it on the sides, were erupted in flames, with the occasional crackle from he wood, and of course, beyond that, sat the massive, kidney shaped war table that was used for important discussions, such as now. His ears, already have heard the murmurs and talk of important conversation, he ignored it for the time being, not caring. Instead his eyes rose to meet the polished, grand wooden throne that sat directly behind the war table, that was now, occupied by his father, his posture radiating pure authority and respect as always. As the members of the council turned their heads to Seto's sudden appearance, his eyes met the gaze of his father's, and vice versa. There was a moment of silence within the great hall. Despite the air turning heavy with enough tension one could cut it, he kept all his focus on his father. He met his father's stoic and piercing glare with his own, showing no weakness, no hesitation. If there was going to be war between him and his father, so be it. He was ready. The anticipation only grew heavier as the moment continued on, the council head's keeping their attention on him, their expressions ranging from anger to shock.

Eventually, after what felt like a eternity, his father's one eye, his only good eye for that matter, closed for a moment. When his lone blue eye was revealed, his father sighed and his shoulders fell.

"Seto....my son.....I knew were still alive.....I preyed to the Kami's you would return to us....and here you are......Us, the clan, we all missed you, mourned for your death, but you standing here.....changes everything......Come here son, I wish to see the man you turned into..."

His eyes widen at this unexpected development. His father was smiling? He was in disbelief. He couldn't even remember the last time he had smiled, and now, he was welcoming him back with open arms. He froze in place, unable to move. His mind was suddenly hit by several emotions all at once, overwhelmed with confusion, shock, relief, and even happiness? Was this real? Had he simply trained too hard and had he passed out? Or perhaps this was a dreeam. It was beyond surreal, and he was completely unprepared for this. He was expecting a battle to the death, not this, not this at all. In an attempt to calm himself, he inhaled a few times before exhaling slowly. After a few moments, his shoulders shrugged as he attempted to calm himself before speaking, attempting something akin to a soft tone he hadn't used in a long time.

"Father.......forgive me....If you can find it within yourself......but I am not the mere child that disappeared all those years ago....as you can clearly see....Alot.....has changed.....and there things I must tell you......things that even the Clan needs to hear. I fear what I say may cause discord, but....they are of grave importance, and they cannot be ignored....."

He exhaled again, making another attempt to keep himself calm...and civilized. With a softer expression, he kept all his attention on his father, who despite his appearance, was still holding onto that smile, even after he spoke. Perhaps this would be easier than he thought. That said, he was sure to be in the dog house with his beloved once she laid eyes on him, but that was a can of worms for another day, not now.

Amongst the raging storms of emotions that were running rampart through his mind, he found the strength to eventually calm himself and return his mind to what he had to say, which admittedly, was alot. Most of it, he was too shameful to speak about, apart of him fearing what his father would say, but his demeanor was different than the usual. It was a hard pill to swallow, especially since his father was always, very much a tough loving parent at the best of times, and at worst, one who showed little, if any care. By the time he choose to speak however, to explain what had occurred during his absence, he felt himself embraced, his father wrapping his arms around his juvenile frames. In that moment, he allowed himself this moment of weakness, allowing himself to be buried this feeling. Was it love?.....It was a feeling he had almost forgotten, something almost foreign. After what felt like a eternity, perhaps something he didn't want to end, he felt his father release himself from his embrace of his body, yet he still felt his strong hands on his shoulders. As If he was given a cue, he lifted his head, opening his eyes. He looked up at his face scarred. wreckled face, his piercing blue eye gazing him down.

"Tell me everything my son...I am sure the path you walked wasn't easy, but the path of a true warrior never is. You left us as a boy, and I can see it in your eyes, amongst the many trials you faced, you were broken, cast down with nothing to life for, and yet, through that despair, It hardened you, sending you down the path that will make you into the warrior I always knew you become......and now, after you prevailed, you returned to us as a man, now understanding how the real world works."

His father's words had cut him deep. Not necessarily in a bad way, but he did speak the truth. Before he decided to take things into his own hands, thinking he could do it on his own, with what meager mastery he had at the time, his former self was a fool, simple as that, one who had been sheltered, one who had never been truly tested, and it showed. He paid the price, and nearly lost his life in the process. To this day, there is always a small fraction of himself that still thought committing Seppuku would have been the correct choice, but as everyone had told him since for as long as he could remember, that while it was true that a warrior with no honor was no warrior at all, a true warrior always endured, no matter what. He couldn't even begin to fathom the countless hardships and trials he had sister had gone though, enduring all and everything for not only him and his family, but the clan as well. After taking a second to exhale, he attempted a faint smile before speaking.

"Yes....father....It's what you say, but a long, exhausting tale it is. I shall try not to leave out any important details....I can only hope, you will find understanding for the foolish son I once was..."

Exhaling heavily, he closed his eyes for a few second before composing himself. This was not going to be a easy tale to tell, but was necessary all the time. He steered himself with determination, determined still to make a future for his infant daughter, even If she wouldn't become heir to his clan. He needed to try at least. As much as Izumai annoyed him, and much worse, she was the sole reason why he was still alive, and It wasn't like she was a malevolent force. While he hated it, and he would never admit it, he understood what she had done. She was in the same books as him, withering away, death at their doorstep. It was his aim to see If a permanent alliance could be formed between his clan and the future clan that would arise, no doubt by his own hands, given the situation. Only a fool would ignore the positives such an alliance could bring, especially one was a clan of warriors, and the other, amongst many things he didn't want to ponder, was a clan of healers. The benefits were obvious. Now he had to convince his father of the future he saw.
