As Shusuke spoke slow growing strands of blue chakra would begin to emit from his forehead and would extend towards the old man and towards the trinket he holds dear. Placing the palm of his hand onto the forehead of the dying caretaker and the other onto the soon to be vessel, Shusuke would essentially go motionless. The strands would leave Shusuke's third eye and become a direct link from the old to the new. The brightness of the blue seemed to almost pulsate and waiver from the man towards the item. Consciousness was transferring.

His soul was being ripped out of his body and being placed into the vessel of his choice. Shusuke was using one of the most powerful techniques he knew, one that he designed to save the life of his best friend Shishiwakamaru, to try and save this man's life. Minutes would pass and the Yamanaka boy was still at it.

Hours began to pass by. Shusuke had not moved once, like a body made of stone as he continued to focus and grabbing every single aspect of the man to place him in his new body. This process could even take up to a full day to complete, but only time would tell to see how long it would take for Shusuke to save this man from his decaying body.

CRPJ's Effect: This allows the user to connect mentally with a willing target by placing their hand on the target's forehead. By placing their other hand on a suitable vessel, the Yamanaka using this technique becomes a psychic bridge to connect the mind and soul of the willing target to this vessel. Over the course of several hours or even an entire day, the Yamanaka can guide the spirit of the willing target into their new vessel, be that a Human Puppet, a Synthetic Body, or any other body that is capable of housing a human soul. Once completed the Target's vessel is their new body and they lose connection to whatever the soul was in before.

As the hours pass, the objects in the house begin to grow restless. The house itself shifts uneasily, groaning softly. They do, however, try their best to make Hayashi comfortable. Offering snacks and tea while he waits, all of them watching Shusuke perform this vital jutsu. Finally, as dusk begins to approach, Shusuke returns to himself as the jutsu is finished. As the room grows hushed, Souichirou's breath rattles one last time before cutting off entirely. All of the objects still themselves, surrounding the bed, as they wait for the music box to move. A minute passes, two, three... Nothing happens. The broom, losing its patience, goes to swat Shusuke in the back of the head. As it does, the music box shifts and moves to intercept the blow. "Have I not taught you all not to attack guests in our home? Patience is very important, young one, as I am adjusting to this new form. Luckily I stopped you before you could make a mistake I am sure you would have regretted. Now then, let us see our friends off so that I can finally get some rest. I feel exhausted in a way that I haven't in quite some time, and need to build my strength back up."

Seeing Shusuke and Hayashi to the door, the armchair lifts its cushion to wave at them. Souichirou is sitting on the back of the armchair, lid slightly opened in a grin. He just hopes that the shinobi keep their promise to protect the home. As the two return to the village and report back on what they have found, a team of Genjutsu specialists are dispatched to the home to work illusions around it. A gathering of Tsukumogami such as this wasn't unheard of, but to have one so near the village, they felt that it would be best to protect them. The amount of respect for a potential contract summoning was something that all shinobi shared, and they weren't going to let any harm befall these.
