Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

This is the place, the one old man Kuro suggested Riyota gazed around the large structure in awe, this was a new building to him but apparently it was meant to be famous, he could kinda see why now. He wandered through, walking past all the hustling, bustling people. His giant axe still holstered on his back, however he had bought a proper holster now so that it didn't swing so loosely, he knew how much that bothered Sousuke-sensei. His shining green eyes scanned the halls of the dojo as he looked at Ninja and Students alike training for things to come. Seems like this place can almost definitely help me get strong enough to equal Suru he though. Taking in all the sights, the ears on top of his hood bouncing around as he walked around the dojo.

I'm totally lost here...I have no clue where to find anything... He chuckled nervously to himself, Maybe it would've been a good idea to get Old-man Kuro to come with me. He thought. Oh well, too late now He shrugged away thoughts of what he could of done and continued to wander, hopefully he'd stumble upon something that would help him find his way around. He ficked one of his many light brown locks of hair out of his face and continued on.

Many minutes passed and he couldn't help but feel like he was going in circles, he had stopped paying attention around about the second time he'd seen the same pillar. He was getting bored, and frustration was growing I need to ask someone for directions. He sighed to himself, putting a sticker on his cheek to calm himself down. He approached the nearest person and tapped them on the shoulder Hello, I was wondering if you could maybe help me? He said quickly, smiling slightly.

Akuma Kuro was escorting Kazuki to the battlements of the dojo when he came across the young axe wielder Riyota. "Well met young warrior, are you still in search of your own brand of strength? Because if you are here for training I am certain between myself and Master Senju that we can provide you with an extensive regimen for building yourself to the heights of physical prowess. If I recall correctly you wanted to attain an axe as well?"</COLOR><i></i> Kuro took a knee to address Riyota as eye to eye was best between fighters. Looking down on someone always caused undesirable circumstances. Kuro then nodded to Kazuki in acknowledgment of his mastery and capabilities as well as his own personal charge and successor. <COLOR color="indigo">"Master Senju's successor will be stronger than me if he isn't already."

Name: Senju Nagato

Kuro, Kazuki and Nagato were making their way toward the Dojo, when the Toraono warrior spotted someone familiar and stopped to address him. The Overlord of the Senju Clan eyed the foreign boy. This was just another strange face he had seen in the past few days. Perhaps someday they would become as familiar as the ones in Leaf had been. There was still a long way before Sunagakure could be called home. To Senju born in Leaf, Sand could never be a true home, the longing for their home was permanently strong in their hearts. To those that would born in Sand though, that would be completely different. Assuming Ryota would take a look toward the Silvery Haired Man, he would see a Caucasian male, in a good physical condition. The Dread Lord was dressed with his usual black and gray robe with silvery trimmings and an open colar, along with a large, red, flowing toga drapped around his body and across his chest, black pants and black combat boots. The opening on his robe allowed others to spot a crimson red tattoo, designed as a bleeding tree stabbed by a sword, the Senju Insignia. His face showed a serene expression, which was a deep contrast to his onyx-like eyes. The White Wolf's eyes were usually menacing and quite piercing. To those caught under his gaze, they always had the impression he could pierce into their soul and analyze its contents at his own leisure. He was also extremely pale, incapable of catching any tan.

Reaper's companion, and cousin, was dressed with brown combat boots, gray pants and a white robe. His face is usually concealed by a hood, and the robe is closed by a red sash around his waist. His hands were covered with brown leather gloves with metal knuckles and both forearms had metallic armbands. Nagato's hair was blond and he had a friendly expression on his face, still visible despite the hood. His eyes, just like his older cousin's, usually showed a menacing look, however, their color was different. The Stone Chuunin had dark blue eyes, sometimes verging on purple under the right lighting conditions. While Kazuki was 5'9'', Nagato was 6'0''.

The former ANBU Sennin accepted Kuro's praise with a simple nod, while the younger Senju smiled and bowed. "I don't think I am." the blond man noted. Perhaps that was not quite true, but for now, Nagato lacked the necessary control over his immense powers. "Perhaps we can be of assistance, who knows what we might have to offer?" the Overlord of the Senju Clan cryptically noted.

Clad in black sweatpants and a plain short-sleeved black t-shirt, Yumi was crouching down as she rummaged through an equally black, albeit dirty colored, duffle bag with her left hand. In fact the only part of her outfit that wasn't black was a curious red ribbon with white lines traced along its edges that sat nestled in her scattered blonde hair. To any native of Wind Country she certainly looked out of place in all but attire, her fair skin and hair likely a result of a heritage that stemmed from the northern parts of the world. As the tap to her shoulder caught her attention she looked back and up over her shoulder towards the other youth. Still crouching down she was quite petite, and even if she was standing tall she likely would be a bit shorter than the average girl of her age. She offered him a pleased smile before she opened her mouth to speak.

Just as she had attempted to do so, the beginnings of her reply were trampled by the white haired main with the striking appearance. Her words died off as he and then the other two with him began to speak to the kid, her red irises focusing mostly on Kuro as his appearance certainly was the most eye catching of the group. Being a mere student she wore no mark of the village as the others did and so she kept her tongue stilled until a break finally presented itself. With a quiet tone that was being suppressed by the sudden appearance of her superiors the girl hesitantly asked Ryota, "did you... need something?"

Riyota wasn't quite sure how tapping a girl on the shoulder had somehow summoned the Old man and the two people following him, and frankly he didn't know who to get round to first. I should probably start with her, I mean, I was gonna talk to her first anyway I um...yeah, Well I was a little bit lost but then...well He nodded his head towards the 3 men behind him. This was difficult, there was so many people looking at him and he was feeling so intimidated by the one the Old man had referred to as Senju, that he was feeling too shy to keep up his usual excited method of conversation. If it was just the Old man I'd be fine, but these other guys make me feel weird... His thoughts trailed off and he realised that he had kinda bothered the girl for nothing. I-uh...sorry. He gave an awkward smile, the whole situation was kinda random, and he guessed it was time to address the other three.

Hey! Old Man Kuro! He felt a bit more comfortable addressing someone he at least knew, even if he felt the Senju's eyes drilling into him. Yup training mmhhmm, you got that right, and look. He pointed proudly to the Axe that he may soon replace with one of his own making, I got an axe, at least to start with. He beamed at the man. I'm glad he's kneeling down, my neck get so stiff from having to look up at him all the time

His green eyes with their usual reflective sparkle cast their gaze to the two men following the Old man, he waved a hand half-heartedly It's a...nice to meetcha He said to them, kind of awkwardly.

After talking with the old man, he turned back to the girl quickly Sorry again to bother you...I just couldn't spot anyone I knew...well until now I guess. He smiled. Taking a sticker and placing it on tzhe back of his hand in an attempt to calm his sudden nervousness.

Kuro nodded to the young lady, "Riyota-san, if we me may ,Kazuki and I can grant you increased physical strength through the use of seals,<i></i> (nudges Kazuki to look fierce and make him feel the danger in accepting) I would be honored to grant you your first seal with a higher control seal from Master Senju if you can complete an obstacle course with your friend here. Should she provide you with capable assistance I shall ensure she is provided with the specific training she seeks as well. I warn you there are 3 obstacles and 3 really hard questions to contend with. Do you accept my offer or would you prefer traditional training?"<i></i> Kuro smiled genuinely as he offered Riyota power that he would be overwhelmed by without strict overwatch and excessive training but then again he just might surprise Kuro like Naoki does consistently.

"Are you aware of the dangers of Cursed Seals? I wouldn't be offering those so willingly if I were you." Kazuki calmly noted. Seals were dangerous stuff, cursed seals even more so. And the seals, only those known as Dark Sages knew about, were extremely dangerous. He was not against sealing the boy, for a price, but the Toraono leader had to be aware of the threat Ryota could become if he was unable to control the dark energies those seals would unleash. "Sir, I'm certain Master Kuro knows what he is doing." Nagato reassured. If only the Overlord could be as naive as his younger Cousin. He had seen much in this world and he would not allow any more threats to endanger his new village. He had failed his true home, but he would be damned if he was going to let the same thing happen to his foster one. "Fine, I'll offer my services, but I do have a price. If you survive and control the seal, I will require your services in the near future. Many people can offer you simple seals, but no one else can gift you with the same ones I can. It is your choice Ryota." the White Wolf stated. "Cherish this moment because we don't always have a choice." the Dread Lord calmly added moments later.

Nagato,in the mean time, had activated his Sharingan and was using it to inspect both Ryota and Yumi. Checking their potential only like his doujutsu could.

Hearing the boy speak to her again broke the girl's attention off from Kuro and grounded it back into reality. She listened silently as the boy gave his response to her, and as turned to respond back to the other three she began to look a little more puzzled at what was transpiring. She presumed at first that her part of the conversation was done and so she turned back and continued to rummage through her bag. When he did turn back to speak to her once more she looked back over her shoulder towards him and offered him an amused smile as shs replied, "don't worry about it."

As Kuro gave her the nod she once again turned back to minding her own business. There was something very odd about those three, two of them in particular, but she knew better than to butt her head in. She zipped up her bag and grabbed its handle when she heard Kuro speak of some friend of Riyota. She stood herself up and tentatively turned around ot face the trio as she held the duffle bag in her left hand. A tidbit that had not been obvious before was the fact that her right arm abruptly ended just above where her elbow would be; the rest of the remaining appendage was simply wrapped in white cloth bandages.

She gave Kuro a curious look of confusion as she seemed to notice no other females in the immediate area. Perhaps he had simply mistaken her for a friend of Riyota's? From that point on she continued to silently listen, she had been training with Naoki for a while now but this man looked to be even stronger than she was. So, her mind began to wander around the area as she toyed with the possibility of having someone even more capable than Naoki assisting her. Her attention did not fully return until her eyes fell on Nagato as he seemed to piece her with his strange looking eyes.

Riyota glanced a skeptical eye over all three of the man, staring especially hard at the one with the weird eyes, he certainly didn't like the way that one was staring at him. He thought long and hard for a little bit Extra power, again...this feels...wrong, like I'm being given all the shortcuts and loopholes the world has to offer me. he creased his brow, He didn't want to look weak in front of Old-Man Kuro, and certainly not in front of Kazuki, or his companion with the weird eyes. This sounds like one of those deals I always hear about, the ones that sound too good to be true, I mean sure they're dangerous but...they sound like the easy road, and the weird part is I feel like that's the road I need to take.

He glanced around at the small crowd of 4 around him. They're all looking at me like I'm deciding the fate of the earth here. He turned his head to re-address Kuro. "I've got two questions Old Man, one of them is this. What is this obstacle course like?" He then tilted his head slightly to Yumi "The other question is for you." He told her. "We've only just met each other, and because of all the suddenness here, there wasn't much time to talk, but...Do you want to do this course?" He asked her, his voice and posture taking on an unusual maturity for him.

Kuro nodded to Kazauki before answering "I have a restraint method inside my seals that uses my blood to both impart the seal and monitor the wielder, if you like I could teach it to you so you can make your own version of my method. Because the seal is made through my blood I can easily monitor those whom carry a cursed seal given by me. I sense your skill and power with seals is much stronger than mine but that also means your control over them and those whom carry those seals should be much greater."</COLOR><i></i> Kuro then looked over the two students before him before responding to Riyota.

Kuro used his telekinesis to activate a ward and the old obstacle course shifted, literally shaking the dust and rubble off of it. It hadn't seen much use since the last Toraono child Haizame was a literal genius and didn't actually need to push herself that hard to master anything. Her physical fitness was somewhat innate and as a young lady of the Toraono Clan she could go to any training site with impunity. <COLOR color="indigo">"The obstacle course is four obstacles, three random questions or riddles, two throwing competitions, two training puppets, and a chuunin sparring session. The sparring session is optional.

"You don't understand Kuro. Training is all fine and dandy and any Senju would not turn away from it. Cursed seals is a great way to increase one's power, there is no doubt about it, but they are shortcuts to power. If you wish to impose a limiter when you seal someone, that is your prerogative, but I will do no such thing. My clan has a way of thinking and I have to abide it. If you are willing to receive a seal and you can't control its power than you are not worthy of it. I've learned that lesson the hard way, believe me, and so I readily warn others of the potential dangers the act of being receiving a cursed seal entails. I refuse to decrease their potency. If someone wants it, then they have to endure it." Kazuki stated and that was final. The Senju Code was clear and the Overlord followed it. The Silvery Haired Man understood what the Toraono was trying to do, but as much as he wanted, the Code had to be followed.

He had no qualms about sealing Ryota with one of those stronger seals, but if the boy was unable to contain the dark energies the seal would unleash, then it would have to be forcibly contained and there was no telling what kind of damage this could create on the boy's body. "You may, or may not be, strong enough to receive one of my own, right now. It is up to you to choose, but if you fear you might not be strong enough, you can always ask me one once you grow older. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Reaper noted. It was up to Ryota. To undertake Kuro's obstacle course and accept their seals. Choice, it was all up to choice.

Riyota quickly confirmed her suspicions as he turned and spoke to her, the air of confusion around her grew thicker as the scene continues onward. Curses? Seals? She knew some of the latter, not the details of course, but enough to know that they existed. Her look of surprise lingered on Riyota and then to Kuro as he gave a short explanation of the obstacle course. A match with a chuunin? Here she was, not even a full genin yet, and she had been offered, if only by proximity, to spar against someone leagues above herself?

The girl held her tongue as the commanding man with silvered hair spoke of some dangers to cursed seals. That, in itself, did not surprise her. They were likely called cursed for a reason, but if they were then why were they practically walking around the Dojo offering them to students like it was a piece of hard candy? Perhaps they thought that she was of a higher rank because she was being talked to by someone as such, though she didn't technically know if Riyota had any rank what-so-ever.

As a momentary break did finally open up with Kazuki's final remarks, Yumi pulled her bag's strap over her head to rest on her right shoulder. She then raised her now free hand tentatively towards the group. "I hope I am not speaking out of place, but... what exactly is a cursed seal any why would anyone want one?" She might as well have put on a sign that read 'Bumbling Foreigner', and it wouldn't have been too far from the truth. Her cheeks flushed ever so faintly with embarrassment, but she pressed on regardless. "Even then, I believe you must have me mistaken for someone else. I'm just... an academy student." If she managed to remain that for much longer was still up in the air at this point, but she pushed that thought down as she looked up towards her four superiors, doing her best to look less the part of 'Bumbling Foreigner' and more 'Aspiring Prodigy'... but to a mixed result.

Riyota took a determined and steadfast glance at everyone else, his body posture and facial expression taking on a much more serious state, he planned on responding to everyone in turn, starting with Yumi. "A Cursed Seal is something like this. He pulled his jacket and shirt aside slightly to show the girl the small mark on his chest that Shiori had placed on him. "They give those that have them a power-up basically...at some sort of cost usually. He hoped his explanation had been enough for her, and he assumed that Kuro and Kazuki would fill in anything he'd missed. He folded his clothes back over the spot and continued.

"If I beat this course Old-man, I want the curse seals but...I agree with Kazuki. He stated, not bothering to give any sort of honorific to the man's name. "I understand your concern, but I don't want restrictions, these seals are already Shortcuts, I don't want to take the easy road with them." He spoke in an unusual grim tone, casting an eye at Kazuki, then Nagato "And I'm assuming the Chuunin Spar is either with you or your follower Kazuki." He said to them, unsure which one (if either of them) was the chuunin.

He closed his eyes and thought it over for a moment I hope they can realise how serious I'm being about this. He opened his eyes and took a deep breath, glancing at Yumi as he did so.
"I can't speak for her, but I can safely say for myself. Whatever the risks are, I'm in.

Kuro nodded to Kazuki and then smiled to see that Riyota already carried a seal with no limiter. Though distressing Kuro could only approve of the young man's strength of will to bear it. Kuro spoke with Kazuki first, "I understand your sentiments Lord Kazuki, I use the Akuma Ishindenshin ((Devil Link)) to form a telepathic link to those I seal because my seals are forged from my own blood, as such the seals I grant are a variation of the strength I naturally possess, a secondary chakra system. It is not truly a limiter that comes with my seal but a tracking and maintenance system. I cannot allow anyone I seal to become a threat to Sunagakure so I must be aware of their mental state and general location at all times. Seals aren't just a shortcut to power they are an emergency failsafe for when a threat is too much for one's natural skill. The only limiter is my actual powers being used to stop them should they go on a rampage. I understand your way of thinking Kazuki, I am bloodsworn to prevent any unnecessary dangers, you however have greater power with seals and as such have the power to do much more for those that bear seals."<i></i> Kuro felt the energies in Riyota were almost too powerful for a basic seal, he didn't need to know how he got it but it was distinct in its intensity. "I did not sense it earlier but it seems you already bear the burden of a seal exactly the same type of power as the one I would have granted had you completed my obstacle course. I think you and Kazuki are right however, it must be mastered by your own will and capabilities.((looking at the young lady)) as for you young lady I did not mean to ignore you or your circumstances."<i></i> Shifting his attention to Yumi he took a knee so they could be closer to eye level. "No young lady of Suna is just a student or just a kunoichi, you are all precious creations of Mother Suna, and each and every one of you have potential to exceed the strongest of us. What do you seek for yourself young lady?"<i></i>

"What is a cursed seal? Juinjutsu is how those techniques are known and few individuals in this world know about them. Cursed Seals are shortcuts to greater power and they also serve as temporary boosts. Like Ryota mentioned these are not without their costs however. To use one, one corrodes their body and mind. Usually, after you activate a seal, you feel a surge of power and your fighting capability is increased. Once you deactivate it, you feel weak, tired, an easy prey to a determined opponent. Not every seal is equal, and not everyone can seal all of the known cursed seals. Because my knowledge is greater than Kuro's, I can offer you the entire array of known seals, he can only offer the weaker ones. Not to say that those are not powerful nor dangerous as well. The longer you have your seal, the greater your control over it, but the more you use it, the more easily swayed you become to the one that sealed you. This, however, is not true to everyone. When I give seals to others, I do not hope to gain a measure of control over them, but there are those in this world that do. Extensive usage of my seals will not render you under my control." Kazuki explained. He was, however, leaving a piece of information out. He purposefully left out the fact he captured a piece of their soul when applying a seal. That piece of soul gave the Overlord nothing to gain while that person was alive, but once the sealed died, the White Wolf would gain a new soul. That was the price to pay to receive a seal from the Silvery Haired Man.

"That mark is, indeed, a cursed seal. It is usually up to the one sealing, how the cursed seal will look like. Mine take the shape of what they boost. Moon, angel, etc." he added. "You don't want to spar me and I would advise against sparring with Nagato, but if you really wish to and Kuro doesn't object to it, then be my guest. But first take his obstacle course and in the end you get a seal from me." Reaper declared. "Perhaps even you will get one." the Dread Lord stated as he eyed Yumi. "Tell us your heart's desire, you may be able to grant it."

With all of their talk, Yumi was not sure if she was supposed to be enticed or frightened off by the prospect of having one. Corrosion of the mind and body? The potential to be controlled by others? None of that sounded the least bit inviting, but there was little about the life of a shinobi that was. Yumi tried to look Kuro in the eyes as he spoke to her, but even that was difficult with his intimidating apperance and forbearing presence. Even so, she simply looked back and forth between Kuro and Kazuki, not lingering her eyes on either of them for too long.

"I.. wasn't born here, and so I don't think think that counts for me." She softly replied to Kuro in response to his words on Mother Suna. "But... I just want to be a shinobi, like my mom and dad wanted." Absnetly her left hand reached up and gently held onto the end of her right arm, pained memories working their best to escape the box she had forced them into. "I have been trying my hardest, but the instructors don't think I will be able to graduate... and that was before..." she grew silent for a few long seconds before a vigorous shake of her head worked to break her out of her stupor.

"Could I... try that course thingy? I am willing to do whatever it takes, but the thought of it just give me a..." again she paused for a second before continuing, "a bad feeling. That's all. Corroding your mind and body... but if it will help me pass, then I guess I will do whatever I have to." She looked from Kazuki to Kuro before glacning back over towards Riyota. She did not even know the other youth, and here he was getting her roped into things far beyond her understanding.

Riyota grimaced as he touched the area of the curse seal he already bore, he knew that he needed them in order to advance himself, but he remembered the pain the first one had caused him and wondered if the other two would be the same...and whether he would lose consciousness again after the mark was left on his body.

All expression left his face as Kuro made his speech about Mother Suna to Yumi. Tch, some Mother. He thought to himself I've seen plenty of kids like me who could use a Mother and it's not like she's been around. Immature thinking and some bitterness entering his mind. He shook his head free of those thoughts and re-focused his attention on the situation at hand. Hearing Yumi's response he glanced at her, he wasn't quite sure she was aware of what she was agreeing to. Then again, I don't think I am either. he smirked but frowned upon his second glance at Yumi, hearing her talk, whilst she looked pained. Seems she has had a bad past, possibly worse than mine. He looked to her arm again. Scratch that, definitely worse than mine.

He considered telling her that she didn't have to do this for his sake, but decided she was smart enough to know that herself and she seemed determined in that decision anyway.

He decided to encourage her and get her emotions amped up. He lightly punched her in the shoulder. We'll watch each other's backs, alright? He smiled widely at her.

He knew he had all the information they were willing to give, so he straightened himself up, took a breath and spoke.
I'm ready to do this...now.

Kuro sat down before Yumi and looked at her damaged arm... "Many were not born here but Mother Suna looks upon all the life of Kaze no Kuni... Were you in an accident young lady? or did the Cabal have something to do with your arm being damaged? No matter what happened to your arm if you allow me to help you my clan can repair it. I know Suna has been through some hard times. Many men, women, and children have slipped through the cracks losing lives, loved ones, and sanity in short order to this forced existence. No matter how hard I work myself and no matter what powers or techniques I possess I cannot be everywhere at once. I cannot single-handedly fix all of Suna's problems but as a set of families united under one banner we all strive hard to be able to do so. Right now I offer you three choices, I can grant you a prosthetic limb made from the latest innovations that will respond just as if it were your original arm except far less pain and a wider range of motion. I can offer you a limb to be grafted over the area missing a limb but there is a chance the power of said limb could change you as the bloodline power of this limb is from a long forgotten master of explosive arts. The third option involves you taking on the cursed seal powers that Riyota has and is seemingly seeking more of and literally forcing yourself to regenerate a new limb. Although that option takes a bit more time."<i></i> Kuro would look over Yumi genuinely caring for her well being as he did for all Sunans. It was his joy and his nature. There were a few things Kuro could always do for children and with her being so young an actual arm graft would work out far better than a puppet prosthetic.

OC: Kuro just start the damn obstacle course lol

IC:

As Yumi told them a bit of her background Kazuki noticed she was grasping her right arm. The Silvery Haired Man wondered if she had been in an accident recently or if she had born with some defect. Either way, that was fixable. Magic, technology, each had a way to solve Yumi's problem and Kuro presented her with three choices. A prosthetic arm which represented technology. A portion of a limb being grafted into her own which represented a mixture of magic and technology. And lastly, but not least, a cursed seal. "You are not the only one to have born outside Sunagakure. That does not mean we should not be offered the same opportunities as the others that did born in here. I am also a foreigner in this village and you can bet I will get the same privileges as any other individual. I don't need them offered, I will earn them. Don't ever expect things to be handed to you. Work to earn them and people will respect you and your accomplishments. Remember these words and they will serve you well." the White Wolf noted.

He felt a little disgusted for the fact that the Academy Teachers were so eager to claim she would never pass the exam. The Senju House was all about power and shunning weakness, but even them allowed people to try first before condemning them. And even the weaker Senju had their uses and their Overlord was quick to assign tasks for them. "Your teachers are foolish for condenming you before you even start your exam. We will teach them a lesson when you succeed."

Riyota would receive an appreciative smile at his reassuring comment. The youth turned back towards Kuro as he sat down infront of her. The act seemed to surrpise her some, and she looked around the area with mild awkwardness.

"Were you in an accident young lady? or did the Cabal have something to do with your arm being damaged?"

Her eyes averted from his again and she shook her head faintly, "N-no... but I'd... rather not talk about it right now." It was still fresh in her mind, and a painful subject at that, but Kuro seemed to understand and he went on without any explaination from her. As he continued on and spoke of prosthetics, grafting and regeneration she gave off a slight shiver of concern. For some strange reason she didn't really want to replace her arm. If she suddenly had her arm again it would be like nonthing had ever happened... "I'm umm.."

Before she had a change to turn the situation into an awkward puase, Kazuki spoke up. She quieted down and looked over towards him as he spoke his own brand of encouragement. The concern from her face gradually shifted to a smile as he finished. Neither Kuro nor Kazuki knew her nor what she was actually capable of, and so their fath was likley very misplaced. Even so, their confidence helped to reaffirm her own. She turned back towards Kuro and nodded to him with a renewed determination. "I want to do the course. I... I don't want any gifts out of pity. Let me show what I can do... and then decide if you still want to do any of that stuff." Like Kazuki said, if she wanted to recieve any help from either of them she had to earn it!
