Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Recording Crystal? The thought to herself as he offered her the alternative solution. Her gaze shifted over towards Ryota for a moment as Kuro continued as she thought on. He was giving her this option because of her arm wasn't he? Part of her was grateful for the accommodation, but another was irritated that she was being treated differently because of it. Her attention snapped back to him as the crystal was placed into her hand, and she looked up to him with a passing glance of puzzlement that quickly faded into understanding.

She gave him a nod and turned to step away as she did. A few moment of examining the crystal between her fingers ensued before she walked a little further off so they could not overhear her answers without obvious effort. After a measure of pondering and brow furrowing reflection she put the wrapped scroll under her right armpit and turned to walk back over towards Kuro and Kazuki just as the latter made his announcement to the boy. The suddenness caught her off guard sand her heart felt like it froze a moment, but when that feeling began to subside a second or so later she looked over curiously towards Ryota to see his response.

In the meantime she walked her way over towards the pedestal and placed the pen, crystal and then the scroll atop it before she turned and looked between the three as if she was not sure what was supposed to occur now.

Riyota reluctantly handed his completed scroll to Kuro and listened as they discussed some things he began to slowly lose interest and his mind wandered off to other things. He only snapped back to attention when he heard his name announced, His training was going to be done by...by Kazuki? Riyota hadn't been expecting this, and he could tell Kazuki would be a tough teacher, he was nervous about the prospect of training under him, but at the same time he was excited, he knew he could learn a great many things from the menacing head of the Senju.

Riyota bowed his head Yes Sir, I accept your offer of training, and I believe the only future worth having is one you fight for. Riyota knew he was going to have some hard yards ahead of him, but he maybe thought that wasn't such a bad thing. All the best shinobi had had tough trainers, so maybe this wouldn't be a bad thing, then again. He knew he couldn't let himself fall behind.

Using telekinesis Kuro gathered their acceptance items for training as a sudden swelling of power came over him. With an ease of patience and understanding Kuro sat down as the prescience came upon him, luckily it was a rare occurrence. If he had full visions in the midst of battle he could easily be overpowered were he not in his Sharingan form. As it came over him his eyes went completely black and his chakra began to take form of its own avail bringing forth the illusions the streams of time poured into his being. He spoke with the voice of Hyakujuuonouu the Demonbeast King of old. "So it shall come to pass that these students will become beings of great power. The male shall embrace the power of change and transformation and become a living weapon unlike any before him he will be the red ogre of legend and fell his enemies with overwhelming power. The lady shall turn weakness into strength and develop a wrath that all would do well to avoid, her power continues to grow despite her needs."<i></i> The vision slipped away before he could see what it was Yumi would do but her face was serene and her presence undeniable. " My apologies, I don't usually get swept up by the eddies and currents of time like that but it seems I have a direct hand in your fates this day. Lady Tsukino Yumi do you accept my training and what it entails? I will not force you to do anything against your will. Every step must be your choice. I am also content to wait until you require my aid or we can begin now."<i></i>

It was quite a surprise, if not total shock, to hear Kuro speaking with a totally demonic voice. Kazuki did not expect that and he eyed his newfound brother under a different light. The Overlord suspected Kuro was not entirely human, but he did not anticipate the possibility of demon blood mixed in. It was quite unsettling. A person with demon blood, side by side, with a guy that enslaved demons for a living. Could they coexist peacefully? Or were they doomed to eventually kill each other? Regardless of who the victor could be, the potential destruction such battle would cause was short of cataclysmic. "Let me tell you Toraono Kuro that I was not expecting this transformation. If we were to met a few years ago, my bloodline would have forced me to attack you. But nowadays I feel no such urge, though my interest remains. I want to learn what just happened with you." the former ANBU Sennin stated. The Sand Sennin was not getting away so easily. Explanations were due. Before anything else could be said, a large, muscular and quite green creature landed behind the White Wolf.
latest

This newcomer easily towered over anyone. Even Kuro, the tallest one around, was dwarfed by the Silvery Haired Man's summon. "See this guy over here? By the time your training is done, I expect you to easily beat him in contests of strength. And believe me, that is no easy feat." Reaper warned Ryota. Once the kid's training was done, he was going to be a human wrecking ball worthy of the name Hulk.

The girl went from entranced by the floating objects to nearly stumbling back over her own feet as the Demonbeast King spoke, but even so she did not flee. Her eyes had widened with shock and confusion, however, which only began to subside once the visage subsided. She wasn't sure what to say, and even by the point Kuro finished addressing her directly she still felt at a loss for words as to what had just happened. The moment of silence between them was thankfully broken by Kazuki who mirrored her desire to know what in the heavens had just occured.

By the time the hulking crashed into the scene behind the silver haired man, Yumi had managed to locate the sealed box that her voice had ran away to hide inside. "I... erm..." she paused and took a moment to try and clear her throat of embarrassment. "You think too highly of me, Kuro-sama. I am nothing but the daughter of a foreign merchant who just wanted to make her parents proud." She replied with reverence before she took a passing glance towards Kazuki's new companion. "I would not turn down your training but... I wanted to think about the seal part. This is very sudden and... I am not sure it would help me anyway." She attempted to make eye contact with the taller man as she spoke, but only managed it for short intervals before her embarassment forced her to avert them once again.

Again her attention shifted from Kuro towards the other four, and as she looked between the incredible hulking figure and Ryota she couldn't possibly see how anything could be as strong as... whatever that was. Certainly it wasn't entirely human, and despite her curiosity it did not seem to be her place to ask. "If it was all or nothing..." she continued, looking back towards Kuro, "could I think about it and give you my answer... later? Tomarrow or something?"

Kuro smiled as he was himself fully again and explained to Kazuki ""The main branch family of my clan is descended from demonbeasts of old that swore a pact to the last Toraono Clan elder during the Ancients War. Within that pact came the blood of my ancestor Hyakujuuonouu the Demonbeast King, a self-proclaimed title but no boast. In ancient times demonbeasts could take on the powers of those they defeated in battle by taking in some of their blood. If they devoured those they defeated they gained all the powers and abilities of the creature they had eaten. In some cases they gained the weaknesses of what they devoured as well. Long story aside my ancestor resides within my spirit, I am not a true Jinchuuruki for it is not my flesh which carries his being or will. I am a true Akuma Sage with access to some of my ancestral power. Through that timeless power Hyakujuuonouu can occasionally see small portions of the future of those I come into contact with and he does not hesitate to speak on what he has seen within the wells of time. If something I do has some significant impact on another he will tell me in some way, shape, form, or fashion. What you heard was Hyakujuuonouu notifying me and in a roundabout way all of us that these two younglings are special and are capable of greatness. It is a rare occurrence for the spirals of time to cause him to speak out. For me it was an unusually deep vision that was still incomplete but that is because time waits for no being, ever, and the meaning within that vision could change dependent on what they do and how we train them. One thing is for certain these two are far more than meets these eyes."<i></i>
Tsukino Yumi said:

Kuro took a knee and nodded to Yumi as she spoke.. "Take all the time you need young lady, I am not one to rush anyone to power as it may hurt them to grasp for power too early."<i></i>

Riyota expressed some surprised at the voice the Old man was using, becoming slightly more surprised if not concerned at what Kuro actually said. A living weapon? Riyota thought Has Old Man Kuro seen into the future or are these just his plans He wondered. He didn't get much time to think as a giant hulking figure landed in front of him and Kazuki, who was now his teacher looked at Riyota almost expectantly. Does Kazuki-sensei expect me to fight this thing? Riyota gulped, he wasn't at all ready for something like this, even with extra power he knew he wasn't going to become a giant muscular being like Kazuki seemed to expect. Riyota's only aspirations were to make sure he didn't die a faceless casualty. He didn't expect greatness of himself, but his teacher was asking him to fight this thing? What kind of training was this going to be?

I-I uh... um, Kazuki-sensei, even with your training I don't think I could beat a creature of that size, I'm sorry. Riyota gulped again, he feared the wrath of Kazuki more than the monster and worried that displaying this weakness would make his teacher think the Riyota was not worth training. Riyota needed to say something to recover face in the eyes of those around him. B-but if you'll still have me, I'll fight it when the time comes. Riyota scratched at his already existing cursed seal, it was acting up again like it had been recently. He couldn't explain why it was doing that, but it worried him. It felt almost like the mark was getting...excited?

I am a Dark Sage and I am scribing the Astral Seal on Kuromairu Riyota.

IC

Kuro readily answered everyone's questions. Mainly why his voice and demeanor had such a sudden change. It seemed the Toraono clan member had a deep spiritual connection with one of his ancestors, and from time to time, said spirit was able to communicate with the living world using the Sand Sennin as a Medium. There was no certainty if that entity was a spirit or a demon concealing as one. But those concerns were no longer for Kazuki. The Overlord of the Senju Clan had long forsaken his Tsuchimikado gifts in favor of something far greater. Why slay demons or other supernatural creatures when he could easily control them? Why kill them when the Silvery Haired Man could harness their powers to become his? Whatever Kuro's connection with that entity was, it was no concern of him. "The same can be said of you Toraono Kuro." the White Wolf noted upon hearing Kuro's remark that those two younglings had more than meets the eye.

Riyota's fear was quite apparent. The kid feared facing Hulk. It was quite appropriate of him. The former Sennin's creature was so big, Riyota barely reached its waist. A single fist was easily as big as the kid's head. In his current state, the academy student had no chance. But later on? There was no way to gauge what Riyota would be able to pull off. "I expect no such thing Riyota. I know you will do it. Not now, not in a year. But in the future you will win, easily I might add. And don't say you can't do it before you even try it. That is a trait every weakling share and I won't tolerate it from my student. Now stay inside the warded circle." Reaper stated. Riyota, Yumi and Kuro were now probably wondering what warded circle Kazuki was alluding to. If they were to look below, they would notice the Overlord's shadow creating a perfect circle around the boy. This circle had 2 meters in diameter.
442

This circle was not made of a straight line, but of consecutive black wards inscribed upon the ground. They were designed to prevent Riyota from getting out and allow only the White Wolf inside. "This is for your protection as much as it is for Yumi's. Toraono Kuro promised you a seal and I will give one to you. If you are unable to control the seal's energies you won't be able to leave the warded area unless I purposefully shut it down. Only I can enter it and you will leave it when you gain control again. If, let me stress this, if you fail to gain control and the village begins to be in danger, my creature will put you down." the Silvery Haired Man explained the rules of the game. Perhaps this was a tad cruel, but life was not fair. "Relax. This will sting a bit." the former ANBU Sennin instructed as he entered the circle. Reaper showed Riyota his right index finger as the tip became engulfed in his chakra. A normal people's chakra is usually blue, but the Dread Lord's was pitch black. A slow and careful walk toward the kid as more pitch black chakra covered the finger. A tiny void he carried in that hand and most of it would be transfered to Riyota. Slowly and deliberately, Kazuki would scribe a tiny ghost upon the kid's left pectoral muscle. The scribing action would sting a bit, but what would hurt the most would be the transfer of the Overlord's chakra into Riyota's chakra system. Although something far sinister was working in the background. Receiving a seal from the White Wolf was not a harmless act. It was a binding contract. Few people knew that by receive a cursed seal from the Silvery Haired Man meant he was extracting a portion of their soul from them. What the former ANBU Sennin did with those souls only he and the gods knew.

"It is done." Reaper announced as he exited the warded area. "Now we wait."

Hyakujuuonouu. Jinchuuruki. Akuma Sage. These any most of the other things Kuro spoke of to the other man went clear over Yumi's head. Once the first trances of a lack of understanding hit her, her brain stopped processing the rest. It wasn't meant for her, so she shouldn't try to wrap her head around it and only end up making a bigger fool of herself. Seeing Kuro go down to one knee infront of her startled her back to attention however as she quickly averted her eye form him and stared off to the side. "Th... thank you, Toraono-sama..." she meekly and politely replied. "I will let you know either way as soon as I can... Sorry about not knowing now."

Yumi turned from him and over towards the scene that was unfolding towards Ryota and Kazuki before she shifted her attention back towards Kuro. "I should... probably go now. I wanted to clear my head for a bit," she looked down towards the reddened palm of her left hand. If she was lucky it wouldn't be blistered beyond recognisition by dinner time. Before she moved to depart she gave Kuro a deep respectful bow before she glanced towards Kazuki, decided he was too busy to be interrupted and moved to pick up her bag which laid neglected a good ways off. "I promise I will let you know one way or the other." She fninally said to Kuro before attempting to depart with no real urgency.

Riyota nodded calmly, happy that it was not yet time for him to face the huge beast "S-sorry Kazuki-sensei it won't happen again." the boy bowed his head, now knowing that any signs of weakness could end badly for him. He waited a few moments and began to see a shadow forming around him, Riyota began to worry again, was this some sort of trap? he wasn't sure yet and so he didn't say anything while the circle formed. As Kazuki began to explain the circles purpose Riyota calmed himself, Only to see the finger of his new Sensei glow black with Chakra. Riyota knew how much the last one hurt and he knew this one could be much worse.

</B>
Oh how wrong he was
<i>
</i>

As soon as the finger made contact with his flesh he cried out in sheer agony this time it felt like it was searing his entire chakra network, rather than just the one area. The pain made it's way all the way up to the receptors in his Brain and he knew it wasn't Kazuki's doing. The curse mark he had previously received was reacting to the sudden flow of Chakra and slowly spreading across his body using his moment of vulnerability to take temporary control, he knew he couldn't afford to fall unconscious this time, or who knows what would happen? He clasped a hand over his eye as he skin went a disturbing pale colour, a small grimace appearing on his face as his mind when into a frenzy at the chakra surge

4CkSVQK.jpg

As he seal spread all along his body it was soon joined by the other one, and the boy was stronger than he had ever been before, but his mind was not developed enough to handle the drastic change and so he had no current control over his thoughts and actions and he slowly fell backwards, laughing slightly, but this was not a happy, lighthearted laugh, this laugh was practically dripping with <B>Insanity

u5KflXI.jpg

He sat there laughing for a few more seconds, before he began throwing himself at the invisible barrier that kept him caged.

Kuro bowed to Yumi in return and then turned about to witness Riyota's sealing and catching the remainder of the act whistled in appreciation. Kazuki's sealing technique was something he could never do. Without using his own blood as a medium Kuro's demonic chakra would ravage a normal human body and cause it to mutate into a battleform that might cost a person their sanity or worse their life. It would be the equivalent of hitting someone with a triple element rasengan. Kazuki on the other hand drew power from the void of the spirit, the abyss at the center of everything that was ever created and molded it to his will. It was very impressive to say the least. "Well that is a truly impressive sealing technique Brother Kazuki, I have to use blood manipulation to make sure the seal doesn't corrode their bodies, but you have mastered the way of the abyss and simply place a chakra system of your own design within another being. I am truly impressed, my books have mentioned the technique you wield but it is certain I could never accomplish that with my dark chakra. Especially seeing the ease with which you channel it. Well, all things considered Riyota is handling all that chakra quite well. I suspect he will be fully functional within the hour. Shall we wait or would you like to transport him and place him in a meditation chamber while we have lunch?"<i></i> Kuro waited while looking over the behemoth Kazuki had summoned and wagered that Riyota would indeed become as strong as the monster that stood before him inside the seal, although he doubted Riyota would gain that much mass. Kuro wagered that Riyota was going to need a lot more chakra control to master himself in the future.

Kazuki had expected it but it was still disheartening to see how Riyota was unable to cope with the dark energies of his new seal. Luckily the warded circle was there and proved very effective in containing the young one from escaping and causing unnecessary havoc on the village. "I warned him. He is not ready to cope with the seal I gave him. This could prove to be disastrous, luckily those wards are effective in containing him." the Overlord of the Senju Clan noted as the kid laughed and banged against the protection. "Nagato stand ready, I think we will need your assistance." the White Wolf instructed. The younger Senju silently nodded and approached the warded circle with a determined look on his face. If there was one strong enough to contain madness that was the hooded ninja. Few could match his strength even in his current state. Once his potential was entirely unlocked? He would have no rival. The Silvery Haired Man's hulking creature was unsummoned. His presence was no longer needed since the goal he represented had been reached and concluded. Riyota would become the next Hulk, a mighty tool to send against Sunagakure's enemies. If he could survive this current sealing and future ones.

"Your compliments are appreciated Toraono Kuro. The road I treaded to reach this stage was dark and dangerous. I shall not speak of it as I wish not to somber this day. But let me tell you I have lost something I will never be able to regain back. Alas that is the past and what is done is done. I cannot remove the warded circle until he regains his senses, but we can transport him with the protection intact as long as I keep supplying it with my chakra as we move along. Now how are we going to move ourselves?" the former ANBU Sennin questioned.

Sharingan Kuro smiled as his Mangekyou Akuma Sharingan activated as he looked upon Riyota, "You do yourself a dis-service Brother Kazuki. If he cannot control himself you do far better than control him you force him to control himself like this..." Sharingan Kuro looked upon Riyota and stared deep into his mind and soul and uttered a single phrase "Awaken Riyota and be yourself, do not give in to fear or pain." With the mental commands input Kuro wagered he would come to control himself within minutes."We can maintain the barrier, his mental reinforcement should kick in after a few minutes, shorter if it had been one of my blood seals... We can retire to the guest chambers by the pool and have a meal prepared. I have no doubts he will be hungry when he regains himself."<i></i>

You've blown it now...Your one chance to prove yourself, gone, in the blink of an eye. Congrats on that, by the way. The vision appeared in Riyota's mind, A figure sat in a chair opposite him, staring down the version of him that he had in his mind. A chance to prove you were stronger than what the world could throw at you. And all you did was show you couldn't. The vision laughed. I wouldn't even be surprised if Kazuki killed you off right now, better than having a weakling exist on this Earth. The figure stood and walked around Riyota, circling him. Who are you? Riyota finally managed to stammer out. Me, I'm everything that keeps you from floating too far off the ground, I'm your fear, doubt, anxiety, hatred. Everything you are. The figure smiled, it's face a twisted mockery of Riyota's usual.

Th-That can't be true...People are more than that, I'm more than that... Riyota shouted, uncertainty in his voice. Oh yeah, People are more than that...but you're not, all you are is a weapon, a ball of anguish that was designed to burn twice as bright but half as long, that's what those marks on your body represent, because of them, so may call you a Superhuman, others may call you a monster, but that changes nothing. In the end you're nothing more than an abomination. The Figure laughed maniacally. Where's your opposite? There's two wolves in every body...Where's the opposite of you? Riyota asked, trying his best not to believe the words of the negative voice.

You still don't get it do you? He was around, but when that first mark was placed upon you. Poof, away he went, and only I remain now. The figure chuckled.

Riyota couldn't believe it, he was stuck in his own mind trying not to fall down the spiral of insanity that was threatening to consume him. Yet a piercing light broke the darkened sky. The eye of Kuro. The words he spoke were all Riyota needed, He sprang to action and knocked his Hatred to the ground, he could slowly feel himself snapping back to reality.
You can't silence me, the best you can do is temporarily drown me out.
that was the last he heard of the voice as it faded.

His full consciousness awoke and he looked to see Kuro and Kazuki stand in front of him. He managed a small smirk I'm ready to come out now.
