Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Their rag tag squad of travelers soon found them on the edge of the Lightning Country. The weather had been nice and they faced few problems other than the occasional needs for a nights rest. However they were soon going to reach the Fire Country. They could begin to feel it get warmer, Tatsuo grinned as he realized he was nearing Konoha. The heat reinvigorated him, he truly hated being cold.

"Seems like we're getting close everyone, shouldn't be much longer."

He'd not even opened his eyes, just using his sensory of chakra to feel the world around him. There was nothing he wanted to do other than kiss the feet of the goddess and beg for his forgiveness... Maybe he would have a chance to do something more in his life maybe he would be able to become more than the monster his parents made him. Continuing to march they would find that he would be able to maneuver even around trees and pot holes without much concentration. He was a Chakra Sensory mednin, he could save lives... but he chose against it. The voices in his head screamed for him to attack... to kill. But his will to see the Goddess once again would lead him to blur them out as they continued forward...

Shuusei Touma

The road was long, but thus far the trip had been uneventful, thankfully. The group had been seeing signs for their approach to Fire Country for some time now and soon they would be reaching the border. The horses had held up well having had chances to rest and taking turns pulling the prisoner's cart. It had been a long time since Touma had come to Fire Country. This would be his first time visiting Konoha. He was not one for obvious shows of excitement, but he couldn't deny that the chance to visit their ally village was intriguing even to him. He was also very much ready to have Baba taken off of their hands. Transporting a prisoner such a long way was just as tiresome as making the trip itself, so his squad was becoming understandably fatigued even with the breaks taken. Fortunately, they were nearing the half way point. They were tough- they would make it.

The days-long journey to the edge of the Land of Lightning introduced the group of travelers to Saito's endless energy and continuous asking of questions to Tatsuo, about this thing or that, when silence was not otherwise required. The boy seemed quite comfortable on the road, quite hungry for knowledge, and quite quick with the application of that knowledge. Every night they rested saw the conscientious 9-year old student independently taking the time to completely unpack his equipment, in order to practice repacking it more efficiently. Though he'd confessed a lack of experience with horses at the gate, by the time the party neared the Land of Fire he had all but mastered the skill without much training, evincing a clear talent for -- and apparently taking great pleasure in -- the whole activity. The boy would constantly identify various trees, mushrooms, herbs, other interesting plants, animal tracks, cool bird sounds, and other signs of nature's abundance to Tatsuo, with an encyclopedic knowledge that needed little correction. The young cloudie also trained hard when the opportunities presented themselves, listening attentively to Tatsuo's instructions and putting his best effort in, usually with a happy smile on his face. His communication with his sensei seemed easy and effortless, with both conversations and training sessions generally involving some degree of laughter and joking.

Managing to make room in his pack for the coat he wore out of the Lightning, Saito removed the medium weight gray garment to reveal a simple black t-shirt underneath. Pushing straight, white hair out of his face to wipe the sweat off his dark-skinned brow, blue-green eyes reflected the same level of boundless excitement that the young student had been showing basically all along when Tatsuo made his announcement. We're almost to the Land of Fire!

Tatsuo was very attentive to Saito's questions, answering them all to the best of his ability no matter mundane they became. He had a lot of respect for someone eager to ask questions. Some of his questions Tatsuo was not capable of answering to which he deferred with an honest shrug or 'I don't know', before looking over to Touma wondering if he maybe he knew. As they grew nearer to the Fire Country, Tatsuo grew more chatty and happy in general. Getting home seemed to reinvigorate him. The warm weather kissed his skin, quite the contrast from the frigid weather of the Lightning Country.

"It seems we're almost there," he said to the whole party with a wide grin. "There should be a small town right on the edge, let's stop there for the day." he said looking up to the sun that was beginning to fall. "We can leave again tomorrow, it shouldn't be long until we're in Konoha!" He looked to his party, trying to ease some of the tension between the Anbu escort and the adventurous travel among the teacher and his student.

Shuusei Touma

The entire journey would have been tense and quiet were it not for the two young ones conversing enthusiastically as they traveled behind the prisoner transport. Though not partaking in any conversations themselves, and though behind their masks no one could tell, most of the ANBU were glad for the company and the breaks from the silence. Touma wasn't any different, however he had to remain focused as did they all. They could not forget for a moment what their primary purpose was in this journey nor t the potential danger of transporting a Missing-nin back to where he would be judged.

Tatsuo made a comment about stopping at a nearby town. Looking up at the sky himself, Touma nodded. They would not reach another town before nightfall if they passed this one. Traveling at night and trying to watch a prisoner was less than ideal. There was really nothing to deliberate about.

"Alright. We'll stop when we reach the next village. Tomorrow we enter the Land of Fire."

The thought of experiencing another town only added to the barely manageable levels of happiness Saito felt along this venture. He does keep himself largely contained, and Tatsuo was quite capable of handling any of the child's excess energy -- mostly expressed in questioning chatter about the upcoming town, what its name was, what kind of shops did they have there, where could they find the best food, are the people nice, how often does it rain there... any number of questions, ranging from the perfunctory to the profound. The transfer student's talk with Tatsuo only increased in speed and pitch, his excitement fueled by the leaf ninja's own excitement at being back home. Whatever adventures the Land of Fire would unlock upon crossing the border, Saito would be energized to meet them head on.
