OOC: Using Discovery of Contract of Your Choice to find Tsukumokami.
Rumors had spread recently about some creature or being out near the valley of the end that was...well something else. A voice from no where would echo out when overlooking the water atop the statue of the Senju, whatever that was. Or when at the bottom of the waterfall. It sounded interesting, and the young lad had gotten a little..overanxious recently. Things had..gotten out of his grasp. Supposedly the voice was able to see within ones heart or future or the world? Well the point was it could give advice or foresee events to come. Perhaps, just perhaps...it could lead him to where he wanted to go. He was getting no where within the village, seemingly having shut him out. He didn't want to confront the villages seniors just yet. Unsure if he would want to hear what they would say if it was bad. What if, if...The thought hurt to even think of. What if his sister was truly dead. How would he react? It certainly wouldn't be good. But then, could he win if he did so?
It was twilight, upon making it to the shores of the lake, on the far side of where the statues were. The stars beginning to twinkle in the growing darkness. He brought with him what would be needed to camp out; food, shelter, and he had plenty of water obviously. He started his trek around the lake, looking out onto the surface of the water, watching the calmness of it. It was truly tranquil, the sounds and hum of frogs and crickets in the forest being the only sound that night. As it slowly grew darker, the lake started to appear as the sky itself. Looking up, or looking down, it could almost feel like one was floating within a darkness, traversing an area of nothingness. Up and down couldn't be distinguished. The mountain in the distance being the only point of separation, and even it began to appear as a continuation, the cragginess of it reflected in the waters surface as he grew farther from it.
It took about 3 hours to reach the finger of the statue. Upon coming close to the statues, their size was nothing short of amazing. Perhaps even dwarfing the faces of Konoha. What work went into these was nothing short of passion and a skill unequaled to any other. They took great care in the detailed work and scale of the project. It almost felt as is if he was looking upon two giants, paying each other respect. The roar of the waterfall was deafening as he scaled the wall and got atop of the first ones finger. It was of the statue with spiky hair he stood upon now. He turned to look at it's face, seeing the look upon it's face. Something about it..didn't seem...to show respect. It almost felt like he was looking at himself to a degree. He turned around to look at the other statue. Perhaps he didn't like that man all that much after all? Though he was still showing respect to his enemy. He stood their, staring at the face of the one across the way, then jumped onto the water and crossed over then up the side of it and onto it's fingers. He stared into it's eyes, trying to gleam something from how it looked, though it wasn't like the other one. Why? He walked out onto it's arm then to an open space below it's chin and set up camp.
The sound of the falling water from atop of the fingers was load, but slowly drowned out as he stared upon it's face. He looked down at his fire, the glow of it onto the face of the statue lighting it bright enough when combined with the moon. A soft breeze brushed his hair back and the coldness of it was comforting. He picked a great night to come.He looked out onto the lake, the view was spectacular.
