Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Nanashi paused for a moment, looking back to the scenario unfolding between the two girls and the old man. He wasn’t sure whether to believe their words, seeing how their narratives seem to contradict each other, and the old man was trying to make an easier case by showing he was trying to be adult-like in this case. Well, perhaps Nanashi shouldn’t jump into conclusion just yet. Still, the fact that the girls were talking about alcohol and what not made the scenario hard to believe.

However, what really made him feel a bit guilty was when one of the girls had suddenly declared that the entire forest was her home for now since she never had one to begin with. It reminded him of his case, though he was a little different– in the sense that he was on his own in Kumogakure but had a home in a port town south of the country– still, the sense of not having a sense of family in this place was lonesome. Perhaps that was why the girl was drinking? To drown the sorrows?

He looked towards the forest at first before he sighed. He didn’t really intend to go to Tessa just yet anyway. So he walked across the ground and made it towards Ayame, standing before her, then reaching out to pat her on the head. They said the action was like a comforting touch and he hoped it would work. No one deserves not to have a home.

Saki didn't know what to do other than give a dull glare at the newly arrived girl. She stated that she didn't know why she would assume that the alcohol was Ayames.

"Oh, I don't know," he stated with equal parts sarcasm and disgust. "Maybe it's because she told you it was hers. Maybe the fact that she specifically stated I had taken it from her."

Saki closed his eyes and breathed deeply, trying desperately to calm himself down. As he spoke, he had felt a wave of anger come over him, if only for a second. It felt like an unseen wave of... some force that tilted his head and made it twitch slightly, though only once. It was weird, honestly. To be perfectly honest, he had no idea how to handle this situation. It was just so ridiculous, yknow?

"I'm going. Ayame, don't drink any more please." he said, barely containing his frustration.

He wiped the grease from the meat he had been eating earlier on his robes, something he never did, and walked quickly passed the young boy who'd made his way to the younger girl in the group.

A bitter chill past through the forest as the sun seemed to get just a little bit less bright through the canopy above. Birds sang out in terror as the brush rustled with small animals scurrying away from the area of communion for the adolescent alcoholics and their male do-gooder chaperones. Something was coming, and it radiated a palpable demonic aura strong enough for even the newbies to chakra sensing could understand. Nothing was visible, however, in any direction from the gathering, but beneath the soil there was a creature that considered itself the guardian of the isolated areas of the forest, and this level of trespassing deserved attention!

It started out in true horror movie style, an eruption of a single large appendage from the ground, surrounded by a dark miasma that made it hard to identify as it blocked the path of the shinobi attempting to part from the troubled element of kumogakure. In a manner of seconds, a dozen identical tendrils began to rip through the soil and writhe in a circle around the group, as the ground in the center began to discolor. A sinister laugh echoed through the forest, directionless but omni-present, followed by an unfamiliar voice. ”Striking down one of my livestock and consuming alcohol upon my hallowed soil?! Unforgivable… UNFORGIVABLE! Have you simple humans failed to understand a concept so simple as to stay out of a forest that does not welcome you?! No matter, for I shall not allow you to share the tale with any on this mortal realm!”

The tendrils began to shred through the ground and draw closer, as the voice lost much of its eerie credibility by making an almost stock ghost moan of ooooh and aaaaah, but the physical danger kept the humor from being enjoyed too well… Until the voice began to choke and gag, and the tendrils stood straight up before two of them reached inward toward the middle of their circle. A rather petit but gauntlet-clad and claw wielding hand ripped through the earth, and the tendrils pulled the rather tiny demonic body attached to it from gaia’s womb as the dirt-covered ANBU Captain manipulated them into a chair to rest against as she desperately gulped down breaths of fresh air. Her aura dissipated quickly with the lack of composure she’d fallen victim to, and she failed to acknowledge the other ninja as she gathered her wits back and reverted from a colorless eldritch horror to slightly tanned long haired woman. ”Damnit, maintaining so many techniques at once is rough. Seriously though, why is my forest getting so much foot traffic lately? Explain yourselves!”

When she first came to the forest dawn was breaking and now the sun was completely above the horizon. It was definitely time to go home but, just when Hakuren was about to leave it suddenly got dim. A chill ran down her spine and she looks to the skies and there were birds flying away like someone fire a gun. Then all hell broke loose as she feels an aura so strong she could bottle it up and serve it as a drink. As the horror show begins with tentacles Hakuren grabs one of her special bottles tied to her waste. These were special brews far too strong for customers. The bottles were created by her father, forged out of metal and a Kaneton tag. There was a reason why her family refers to the consumption of alcohol as ‘drinking spirits.’

Hakuren makes various types of brew both harmful and helpful. Her normal one cast illusions and are usually classified as harmful. However she does make other brews that actually augments the drinker. A drink that can bestow the drinker unusual abilities but not uncommon in the shinobi world. Such as the ability to heal, to make someone susceptible to genjutsu, or to steal a person’s charka for themselves. Hakuren always have these bottles on hand in case she is forced into a fight. However unlike her drinks that cast illusions, the abilities these drink give do not stack with each other at all. With essence of spirits this pure you can only be under the influence of one at a time.

The anbu made an unusual performance; making seem like they were under some demonic attack. However she was quickly relieved to find out in was a mere mortal like the rest of them. It seems casting and maintaining so many jutsu was too much for her to handle. She claimed ownership to the land thus she was either Haku or Inuzuka. Considering the woman’s appearance she would say Inuzuka, which is one of Hakuren’s primary customers. Inuzuka loved her vials of Shared Torment; from what she understood it enhanced the bond between them and their canine companion. She even consider giving a bottle to her as recompense for her trespassing. It was then she noticed what exactly was cooking over the fire. It was a wolf, which could very well be one of the clans. This idea did not bode well and she open the bottle she was holding. “That was quite the show, but may I ask why it is wrong to drink good spirits on hollowed grounds?” She holds up her bottle in the air. “My drinks are blessed by a Tsuchimikado priest.”

With a heavy sigh, an ANBU captain walked through the forest. More annoyed than tired or bored, the youthful looking mid-thirties male tugged on his slim cut black leather jacket. His hands in the pockets, the lanky male was moving quietly and easily through the old forest in which he had spent so many years practicing and training in. He swore he could see the scared over remains of slash marks of some trees that the Nanjirou had used as target practice for some of the more advance moves he had.

For the longest of time Joukuu had been out in the mountain’s hunting and killing demons who were threatening to destroy the village or at least attack it. However since one ANBU sennin had been killed, and the next one was out with the Raikage out on some diplomatic mission, Joukuu had been recalled to the village to give extra support to the ANBU who were in the village. Being recalled to the village was not something that the tenured ANBU was thrilled about. Being around people was not something that he was exactly use to. At least demons, Joukuu knew that they could not be trusted, and they wanted the best for them and the worse for the human. However, with Human’s the ANBU Captain never could tell.

Still, finding the young boy he was looking for as simple if not simpler than tracking demons. Human’s often did not cover their tracks especially when they were not trained in how to do so. Hissori moved easily tracking the footprints on the ground as his own feet barely let marks in the ground. His dark brown leather boots tops were hidden by the dark blue skinny jeans the man wore. Just like the boots, the males lightning yellow t-shirt. What was not hidden however was his two swords. One, an ancient looking katana in an old style sheath, and above it a brand new looking smaller wakizashi that the trained samurai used as a backup weapon to his heirloom katana. With a shake of his dirty blonde medium length hair, Joukuu finally spotted the gathering of people.

Joukuu’s navy blue eyes accessed the situation immediately as he easily slip through the shadows with enough the skill of a high ranking ANBU. In a moment the man realized that just waiting for an opportunity to strike was defiantly the wrong plan. They were allies so just approaching them was the easiest thing and least likely to get a kunai thrown at his face. Disappearing from the shadow, the ANBU reappeared by the young student known as Nanashi.

“I apologize for interrupting like this, but this young Nanashi is currently missing his training in the academy and I have been sent to fetch him.” Joukuu said in a soft spoken golden tenor tone as his strong slender piano player’s hand came to rest on the red heads shoulder. With a look of a shinobi, but with his old beaten Kumogakure emblem under his purple silk scarf that covered his thin lips. With the edges of it tucked into his lightning yellow t-shirt he had underneath it.

With a pause Joukuu realized that his emblem was concealed and in an elegant way, Joukuu pulled down his scarf just enough to reveal the battle scarred cloud emblem as he just nodded towards the other shinobi as he looked at Nanashi. “Let’s go.” He said in a polite way towards the boy looking for any protests from anyway of the people before starting away with Nanashi towards the Academy easily finding his way out.

Just when he thought things would calm down, the entire place suddenly felt cold and eerie. First, there was a ghastly voice that accompanied tendrils that poke from the ground. The closer they moved, the stronger Nanashi could feel a deadly presence surrounding them. However, this would halt when the voice started gagging and coughing before the presence finally showed itself, sprouting from the ground, as a woman. In all honesty, since Nanashi had never came upon any chance of watching any horror films, he could not relate such a scene to one. Still he was on guard.

Before he knew it, things around him took a different turn towards a more familiar and casual tone. Despite the threat that the new entity had posed, there was something rather warming about it. Perhaps he had just found the entire ordeal more interesting than terrifying to start with.

Further still, another event would seem to surprise him. Unknown to him, a stranger had suddenly come within their midst, and quite too close for comfort too. A voice from behind and a hand on his shoulder had alarmed Nanashi, but he stopped himself from jumping in freight as he turned around to look at this unknown person. His voice was caught up in his throat as he stared in confusion before he could finally comprehend the words being said.

Still, something about the way the person talked, the way he had suddenly appeared, and the way he was so specific about seemingly taking him away from there, warned Nanashi that this wasn’t going to be a friendly chat. Nevertheless, he couldn’t find it in himself to deny the other’s words.

Nanashi spared a few glances back at the others before he quickly went to follow this stranger. He may not know the man but if the other knew who he was, he may be on to something. And though one might think the way he passively just joins a stranger to be a rather poor choice which could be exploited if the latter had evil intentions, Nanashi knew fully well the dangers but was rather interested as to how did this man knew who he was.

Rega’s face livened up at the woman mentioning blessed spirits, for although the masked lass was nowhere near the lush her mentor was, she did enjoy a good excuse to sip on something decent, and her spiel on hallowed ground and particularly the Tsuchimikado was as good an invitation as any. Furthermore, the rest of the crowd didn’t seem very fazed by her performance after her botched introduction, so it seemed for the best that she just briefly address the individuals and then warn them about the forest before allowing them to leave… but something just had to get in the way of a simple act like that. "Hold that thought, cute miss..."

Although she was somewhat winded from her halfway maintained Inner Earth Reflection Lure jutsu, the acting Sennin couldn’t help but notice another ANBU intruding on her domain. It was one thing for random villagers to make their way into her neck of the woods just by accident or curiosity, but seeing a veteran’s face pop in and attempts to steal away someone she was interrogating without so much as a nod or greeting got her demon tainted blood boiling. Doing her best to curb her quickly approaching violent instincts, she gave the benefit of the doubt and placed a few of her tentacles in the paths of the young man and old ANBU. ”Don’t leave so soon, hon. We’re apparently all gathering outside my house, so I’d REALLY like to take account of what the devil is drawing kids and charming young alcohol enthusiasts to loiter. I really do hate to call rank, but unless you’ve got something a bit more pressing than a tardy academy class, I’m going to have to ask for your patience.”

That sounded good, she thought, as she drew her hammer from its sheath and let the obscenely giant construction tool’s head fall to the earth with a deafening boom. Her pride in her statement, however, was somewhat wounded as she noticed the young vagrant scurry up into a tree and take a nap, without even blinking at the displays made. This was okay, she’d be dealt with next, but for now, her focus was on the newest addition to the party.

Joukuu frowned as he saw that he was stopped. It was to be expected for a man just coming in and trying to take a kid back to his class. What he did not expect though was how big of a protest would be put up. Sighing some he adjusted his scarf again and slowly conceded. It just wasn’t worth it.

“This is why I hate humans.” He said in a low enough tone so that Nanashi was the only one to hear his soft voice. He was now stuck there in the forest with these people he did not know for a simple fetch and retrieve mission. At least it seemed that way. When the large construction tool hit the earth, Joukuu’s body reacted. In the echo’s of the deafening ringing, Joukuu’s body popped. Harmless confetti rained down from the air covering the group in biodegradable rainbow color paper. However, what Joukuu used as a playful prank to scare students, he’d use to leave. Disappearing entirely, the man would not return and like any skilled ANBU his present was completely hidden having left the area and forest.

Just as he and the strange blonde man was about to leave, the woman from earlier– the one who came in with a rather eerie entrance with all the tendrils about and even threatening them about trespassing her property– had suddenly ridiculed about him being taken away to some class and called for a proper punishment for their earlier transgressions or whatever it may have been. Of which, Nanashi wasn’t quite as keen as the others since he found nothing wrong about his actions, let alone it wasn’t the first time he entered the forest, and he did got permission from before from a certain Kyodo Clansman (errr woman) and directions that he needs to visit her humble abode deep within the forest. It was only by pure luck, or by unimaginable thread of fate that got him there at the wrong place and wrong time to be considered part of this group.

But just as he was about to protest, the blonde man from earlier had mumbled something that he slightly got wind of before he burst into a round of different coloured confetti into the air. Nanashi was awestruck at the sudden disappearance and while he was waiting for another thing to happen, nothing did. In fact, the man had disappeared almost as quickly as he appeared and the redhead was left wondering what the hell was happening around him.

And to make it worse, the woman with the tendril-thing from earlier had conjured a hammer (a rather large one at that) and then slammed it to the ground to alert everyone about her intention and no doubt she meant serious business. A small tremor got Nanashi adjusting his footing but he quickly turned back to face the woman. Though there was a growing fear from within, another voice was urging him to make a stand. The thought of surviving had always been the one to keep him alive and no matter where or who stood before him, he would not let his chances of surviving be threatened so easily.

So he drew out a small tool from his weapon holster, something that looked like a small hammer, before it enlarged itself into a large cylindrical black hammer quite bigger than a halberd would normally look like, and he held it with both hands as he stared back the woman, his chakra flowing and gathering about him.

And as quickly as the other ANBU arrived, he disappeared in a burst of confetti. The kunoichi captain thought about possibly using force to stop him, but considering his status in the ANBU ranks, it wouldn't be very hard to pick up the conversation away from kids... just in case there was some reason things could get violent, it was always best to keep Kumogakure citizens safe. That being said, she now found herself with quite the scenario on her hands! On one side, there was a child in a tree trying to sleep off her liquor and ignore the display. To another side, a possible supplier to minors was defending her craft, and a teacher from the academy, apparently not the one the rather straight-laced looking red head was being summoned by, was somewhat surprised by the spectacle of everything...

Lastly, there was now a battle aura being broken out... lifting her own implement of oversized destruction, she softly pressed the head of the weapon against that of her rivals. "Oh, how interesting... I see your shwartz is as big as mine. But I must wonder, can you use it?"

With one hand, she manipulated her weapon before zipping through a set of handseals, letting the tool fend for itself and muster a few basic jabs at the student, while she looked over to Hakuren and rubbed her chin with a loss of interest in the tardy lad. "Now, I believe you were next... I've nothing against a good cup of sake, and I don't really much care about selling it to minors, but I do out of respect for my job have to be sure you do not plan to sell to minors out here in order to skirt the long arm of city law. You understand... also, while I'm at it, how much for a sample of this blessed stock?"

As Nanashi braced himself for what was to come, he was surprised at the speed of which the other used. He almost lost sight of her when she quickly started to attack him, and he could barely defend himself from her movements. Catching most of the jabs, he would be sent knocking across the ground, rolling till he could manage to come to a stop. He coughed trying to get some air circulating into his system as he seemed to have been winded briefly. He wasn’t much of a close-quarter combatant yet, that was for sure.

But he wasn’t going to let himself down from the fight. Not after his most recent classes and training. He was ready, at least to some point, to actually wager on what he could do. So he gripped the handle of his hammer as he pushed himself up from the ground, stepping back for a bit as he took in a deep breath. Then, he rushed towards the other, swinging his hammer in an attempt to hit her. After all, this could be called an act of self-defence now that she pulled the first strikes.

Hakuren takes her wooden pack, sits it on the ground and opens the main door. On the back of the door was a list of drinks with their prices per cup. Looking at the list she would quickly find out this was not going to be cheap. In fact the prices were steep even if they were for the whole bottle. “I don’t tend to sale to minors nor non-shinobi and most of the time they can’t afford it anyways.” Every drink in here was thrice as old as Hakuren and recently imbued with Hakuren’s spiritual essence to give it an extra kick, which normally ended up giving people illusions. “I do warn you that this is some strong stuff and not for the faint of heart.” This is a warning Hakuren likes to give as a curtesy to new customers. It would not be the first time for her to have a buyer die because he could not defend himself against the illusion.

Turning her back to the young student as her hammer wielded itself, floating in mid-air and parrying blows with the young lad. She wasn’t out to hurt him, just to see what he was capable of and how formidable he’d gotten as a result of his training in the Academy. It was unpolished, to say the least, but he did at least show some promise and grit, not letting a chance slip even if his every blow with the large implement was slow and awkward. Her third eye kept track of his movements and progress even as she failed to give him her direct attention… which was now focused on the curious salesmanship of her other interrogation target.

Using one of the tendrils to make a seat for herself and carry her over to the young lass and the makeshift display, she carefully observed the prices before whistling and dismissing her concern of wrongdoing. ”Ouch, you aren’t kidding, these are fairly sharp prices. Luckily for you, my budget is fairly generous, and my tolerance rather high. Funny you should mention blessings, because I actually carry within me a bit of tainted bl-

Her voice was quickly cut off as she coughed and wheezed after catching a whiff of a “strong” brew. As it filled her nostrils, she felt a slight burning sensation not unlike an attempt at purification she could recall from a battle a few years prior to this meeting. It was actually kind of pleasant, despite scratching at the makeup of her patchwork body and soul. ”Yeouch, this stuff has bite!.. I’ll take a rain check, but I don’t suppose you’ve got a business card or something on ya? I’ve got a friend who just got over a terrible illness who could… um… benefit from a little less remembering of the illness.”

It was amazing how this sentient axe was moving on its own, easily countering everything he dished out. Well, to be honest, Nanashi wasn’t proficient with his hammer just yet and the opposing force was quite good. Still, it felt like an embarrassment that he was there moving about as if he was playing with an invisible being that kept waving this foreign weapon in front of him. It made him all the more realise his weakness, and the error of his judgment. He will have to show more than this.

As he jumped back to avoid an arcing swing from the enemy weapon, he shrunk his hammer and placed it back to its holster before he quickly made some gestures. A deep gasp of breath followed before he blew out, chakra syphoning as he produced a mist-like veil (Pressurized Mist - (M)) to converge within the immediate surrounding. It would hamper the vision of those unaware, and possibly harmful to the uninitiated. But as for him, the moment he had summoned up his chakra to manipulate water, he could feel the presence of an unknown confidence within him swell up. (WA CA: Fluid Motion activates) Almost immediately, he felt a burst of speed in his movements as he would dash through the obstacle weapon, having bolstered his agility to make sharp movements to avoid any possible retaliation, just so he could close-in on the woman who had thought better to leave him with her weapon alone.

And as he would close-in, he prepared a surge of energy on his hand, ready to fire a burst of highly pressurised water stream (Water Gun - (M)) towards the target.

Hakuren watches as the student fights the floating weapon and even she could tell this was well beyond a fair fight. Thus she decides to intervene while still talking to the anbu. “I’m afraid I have no card to give you,” she says as she walks up to Nanashi and places an index finger to his forehead. “If you are going to fight someone this strong, you are going to need some armor.” Hakuren infuses a part of her spirit into Nanashi, which left a mark [Combustive Seal with Immolation Armor]. Hakuren was quite proficient when it came to seals. This particular seal was one of her favorites for unlike curse seals it didn’t tire her nor the receiver out. “But my wares can be found at a bar in the Susukino District.” Hakuren then quickly jumps back as she forcefully activates the seal. [Special Action: Release] A curse seal like design spreads across the boy’s body and made his skin like armor. The floating weapon would now receive backlash damage with each melee attack. “The place is called the Dead Man’s Brew. My father runs the place.” Hakuren almost finds it funny how she sales drinks blessed by a Tsuchimikado priest, but acts like a Dark Sage placing a seal of power on a person so nonchalantly. She would not be surprised if the Anbu started question the validity of her claims.

The jousting proved of little interest even as the atmosphere grew damp and murky all around, leaving the ANBU captain shivering a little as her outfit got a bit damp. She did nothing to stop the saleswoman from waltzing over to the fledgling ninja even as he was preparing to launch a chakra based attack through a cover her demonic third eye was all too familiar with. She pondered for a moment if it was even a benefit to the young lad at all, or if he just didn’t realize the nature of the enemy he was facing.

It was hard to even refer to him as an enemy as he did his best to make a show of his abilities. The businesswoman did her best to turn the otherwise amusing bursts of fluid into something a little hotter, but again the jutsu were just wrong… all wrong! Finally, at the last moment, she put her hand up in the path of the student just as he was about to strike her with the jutsu, which appeared to pierce right through her before a split second later she was standing nose to nose with the youth and stretched out her hand instead to Hakuren, having once again displayed the pinnacle of the ANBU artes, the Flock of Shadows, without it’s true effect being immediately readable. ”No, no, no! You cannot hope to combat an enemy, particularly one who clearly outmatches your strength and speed, with such shoddy tactics! Those fire seals are not meant to be used in such a way, and I promise you the hellfire which tempered my steel into the ferocious implement of Shinbatsu’s wrath that it is can handle a far more intense heat than these cute emanations! Furthermore, an obscuring mist works both ways, and had I but shifted my position a fair ways you would have been just as lost as you assumed I would be!”

The mass of tendrils now began to sway violently, before she returned to her throne upon one of them and summoned her weapon back. ”No, this simply will not stand! I will not see another gennin shmuck graduate and puff his chest without knowing a thing about combat!” With a snap of her fingers, the remaining tentacles began to swirl about quickly, lashing out with quick precision at the young man and working to bind him to the ground with the strength of several men several times over. With the pup subdued, she could turn her attention to his aide.

”And as for you… I hope your liquor is better than your battle assistance. You’re free to go, but if you’d be so kind as to tell your customers the forest is a bit dangerous, I’d be quite appreciative.” Two down, two to go… although it seemed like the teacher had managed to get by the shuffle, it didn’t matter much. After all, there was a lead on him in the students still nearby. Everything would come together in the end, and now there was even a chance to show a youth how to properly bare fangs out of the afternoon.

”So, you seem to like to use water, mist, and deception on top of haphazard melee strikes… Well, today is your lucky day. You were late for a class with a shlub unfit for his title, but I am the current master of his ranks, and I’ll be instructing you how to fight with more than just futile spirit. Tell me, have you ever felt the underside of your own flesh?”

For a moment, Nanashi thought he’d calculated everything he was about to do. However, there were a few things that didn’t happen as planned. For starters, the woman who was selling liquor had come up to him to put a seal on his head. Almost immediately, he felt a strange sensation overcome him body, like a hot liquid dancing within his veins. It invigorated him for some reason as he saw the seal tattoo spread across. He was a bit lost at first before he trained his gaze back to the other woman – his target– and then he launched for his strike.

And here, the other surprise was met. His assault was all but for naught as he first saw himself striking through the target, only for the said target to disperse before him. Without so much of a warning, the woman had then appeared before him, too close for comfort, and yet he was unable to move. Paralysed on where he stood, possibly from fear or simply overwhelmed by the other’s obvious power. The difference was far too great that he knew continuing was more of stupidity than courage.

He could only utter a brief, “Oh crap…” as if the mind boggling event had just occurred to him now (that and because he had always been quite stubborn so he would not have backed out from this attempt without attempting at all). But it was far too late. Without so much of a brief respite from his earlier attack, tendrils from out of his sight had quickly grabbed him and pinned him to the ground. Each were quite strong, that combined it felt like he was held down by a handful of men, and he feared he might get crushed if he wasn’t careful.

Dirt on his face, he tried to struggle a bit before he turned his face as far as he could to look up to the woman with much fear. The words that trailed her lips both held hope and threat, though the sadistic tone that echoed in his mind held a vice grip on his heart. And as much as he would not want to show fear, he opened his mouth to try and bark something witty against the latter, but no voice escaped his lips.

His eyes kept trained to the latter’s face. Sweat trickled down the side of his cheek.

“Well come by any time. I am glad to say we have a brew just for forgetting things and we might have something for your problem as well.” Being that her father is a Tsuchimikado priest he does know a seal for exorcism that could help get rid of her taint maybe. “I’ll share the message and leave you to your tutelage.” Hakuren remembers attending lessons like this herself. One would be surprised how quickly one learns the ways of battle under such teachings.

Problem? What problem, Rega thought to herself as her tainted flesh pulsated from the exertion it took to maintain all her jutsu. It was sometimes a little painful and made her more base emotions flare up, but it served to make her a massively more effective shinobi and administrator of the ANBU, so it was a “problem” she was more than happy to share with as many interesting ninja as possible. To that end, she waved goodbye to the saleswoman and turned her attention back to the young man on the ground, tentacles writhing underneath his clothes before tearing off his shirt and giving the captain a bit of a show. ”Well now, since we’re all alone… aside from sleepyhead in the tree, I’ve got to prep you for your operation. Ooh, a strapping young lad with your abilities has a lot of chance for improvement, but what to I increase first… your chakra coil? Those cute petit muscles you’re building up in that cute little body of yours? Perhaps your nervous system and spinal alignment, strengthens a little of everything… You don’t mind if I make you a little more naked, do you?”

With another set of handseals, an assistant, looking much akin to Rega but wearing a nurse outfit in obvious parody, and wielding a glowing set of scalpels, looked down at Yoru and made a sigh, before looking silently at Rega. The ANBU captain shook her head and stomped her foot in outrage. “Mom, no! For lordgod’s sake, he’s a baby! Ugh, every time a cute little ninja gets under your knife, it’s always gotta be a matchmaking moment for you… this is why big sis didn’t ever want to share the operating room with you!” Finally the kunoichi began to form an aura around one of her nailgun pins, before she tapped on her head and laughed nervously.

”I’m sorry, I almost forgot to knock you out before we started! Here, stand up straight for me~” With that, the tendrils maneuvered the young student up, before the needle sank into the side of his head and consciousness began to erode… He would awaken hours later, and every square inch of his skin from below his neck to above his pelvis tingled and itched. Of course, he was quite clearly stripped of every shred of his clothes, and a short distance away, the kunoichi surely responsible was sitting by the tree underneath the student from earlier, smoking a cigar. ”Was it good for you too, darling? How do you feel?”
