Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
Appearance: Short black hair with black, fox-like ears. Stands to be about five foot three inches. Pale skin with blue eyes. Black, three foot long fox tail. Black top shirt with black unzipped Jacket. Faded black shorts with black leggings and black combat boots. Ziren also has Black gloves and a long blue scarf around the neck. Ziren also wears eyeglasses and sometimes, when it is cold outsitde, will just zip up the black jacket.
a caravan found one year old Ziren, with the bodies of his dead parents nearby. They decided to take him in. Ziren lived with the caravan until he was five. That was when a wild fire consumed the caravan, and him escaping. Being the only survivor. He then decided to fend for himself and learn how to fight. At thirteen, he found himself really defending for his life when a rogue ninja attacked him. All he could do was run away. That's how he got his scar. At this point, he figured that he has either extremely bad luck,or he was cursed. But he finally got a break when he met two Leaf shinobi. Xana and Miku. They were on a 'C' rank mission when he found them. He helped them with their mission and they asked about his past. Ziren was reluctant to tell them but eventually he did.
But as years passed and he finally settled down in the Leaf, he finally found out who he was, not without getting into some trouble for searching for that information of course. He is a Chigokai. Someone who uses blood style justsus who were born with the power. He hates being who he is. Then during a small scuffle with a friend, he got injured, and that sparked a flame in his blood line that forced him to isolate himself from society just so he won't hurt anyone else. Two months after that, he has decided to come back and continue his training. During one of his trainings, he fought a bear blindfolded which ended with a scar on his face.
Ziren no longer has yellow irises as the blood swirling around his eyes have become all that is in his eyes now.
Much has changed Ziren since his brother had shown up and after he killed him. After a fight that ensued right after killing his own brother, Ziren had his own arm cut off. The left one. After that day, he became bitter, cold. He turned to seek for power and meaning, and his own ideals. The power he found was to be a Dark Sage. The meaning was to make a world in his own image. Years have passed. He is an Ex-Leaf ninja after he had woken up from a two year coma in Water, only alive thanks to his dark sage powers absorbing everything around him. He had learned of unsettling things in Leaf and made way to Cloud, where he had sent his family. He talked with Raikage Ayumu and had gotten citizenship in Cloud, all the while, not knowing if Leaf thinks of him as dead or Missing. And he grew wary of the dark sage powers. He felt it was time. To purge himself of the darkness he had accepted and regain some form of light. That light, made him a Chimera. But it was short lived, as he was recruited by Umashi, one of the previous Hokage, to help him get some tails from Maru. Things were going good until they didn't, and Ziren found himself taking a genetic changing pill that had ultimately turned him into almost an entirely different person. A female Kitsune?! As they made their way back to Cloud, Ziren had found out that he was no longer a Chigokai Chimera. As it turns out, a spirit that has been connected to the gene changing pill had gifted Ziren with her powers of not just making Ziren an exalted, but also a chimieashi. Basically a holy warrior with super speed.
With that, a new personal enemy is out to get Ziren. They call themselves the Death Organization. Ziren had met one of them in Sand and then another in the outskirts of Cloud, this one he managed to kill. It is later found out that some of these goonies may have had a hand in with that of the Moon Country and even Water country, both of which Ziren is dreading to go back to.
Even with a lot on Ziren's plate as it is with this whole Death Organization thing, there seems to be a bigger, badder enemy lurking in Lightning Country that has decided to strike. Tenouzans. Together, with Umashi and Kitsune, the 12th Raikage, they infiltrate the Capitol to find the shogun is dead and the Palace teeming with spies and a political coup in the brink of happening. Leaving the Palace to fight another day, Ziren is regretting that Umashi is left behind. Ziren must get stronger. They decided to change their core ability of an exalted to that of the Kaguya to excel at taijutsu as a whole.

Name: Hotaka Brōlu
Personality: This particular plant creature is a bit of the antisocial side. And by antisocial, he hates humans. He has little care for them. Every now and then, he gets the occasional human walking into his home, the forest, claiming they have signed their names on a tree. The way of signing up for a plant contract. Brōlu only gives them one chance to prove themselves. If they fail to, then he runs them out of his place of peace. So far, no human he sees as being good enough to have the plant contract. Any other creature approaches him though, and he will have a different way of acting. Those that are not human, he treats with the utmost respect, as they live to survive and thrive, whereas the humans, all they live for is destruction. With any other creature, they see him smile, he laughs and is known to be the center of a wildlife party when it comes down to it. But as soon as a human enters the stage, however, he loses his composure, as the way he sees it, they don't deserve to see him the way he is with other wildlife. He never lashes out on them, for he knows that they can retaliate if they so wanted to. Instead, he often goes with snarky remarks. But don't mistake him for being weak, as he does know how to be a bit of a fighter. By plant standards, he is about middle aged. Three hundred-fourty-two years old to be exact. Which would explain how he acts. In the end, he deeply cares for each wildlife that exists inside of the Forest.
History:
Born three hundred-fourty-two years ago the plant creature came into existence from a seed that was experimented on by human alchemists (aka scientists), who wanted to weaponize plants to use in an old war. Mixing in lemons, oranges, and apples, with other plant life, they came up with some kind of dangerous plant creature. It wasn't sentient. In fact, it looked differently than what it does now. Back then, it had no where to store chakra, to power it up. It's chakra flows were out of control and the humans usually made it wear some kind of collar to keep it under control. But when Kodoma, the plant Overlord heard of this monstrosity of a creation the humans made, he turned it into something more. Much much more.
One night, while an alchemist was testing some things out, his focus not on Brōlu, light seemed to be absorbed into the plant creature. It transformed it, into something even stronger, something that the humans never were able to do. It became sentient. It became, known as Hotaka Brōlu. A name that the plant Overlord himself game the newly known plant creature. Down his back were fruit. They were the fruit used to make its existence, lemons, oranges, and apples. But these are different. They permanently are connected to Brōlu's body, that is where his chakra is stored. His pine tree-like tail has turned to have a red tip on the end of it, and parts of his skin took part of looking like the color of an apple.
Once he became sentient. Knowing of what he is, a mere experiment that humans played with nature, destroying it, he was thrown in a rage. That night, Brōlu killed all those that made him and then fled away from the accursed place that birthed him. Even having a talk, once he met Kodoma, that not all humans are bad, evil, Brōlu could never forget what he was. A weapon to use during any wars the humans have. But as the years past he has met some that showed compassion and love, some he almost trusts, until he finds out that they are just using him. In the end, he just tolerates humans, seeing them as creatures always begging for more power. Years and years went by, and Brōlu has acted like a guardian angel of the forest that he has fled to. His new home, has been home to many other creatures, plants especially. Not even close to grand as Kodoma's home, because humans still can come into Brōlu's home without any kind of trust from a plant friend.
More years past and one human got his attention. A blue haired blood user. Took on and fought one of his own when the other, a scientist, was burning down his home. The blood user almost died several times, but never quit until he was done with apprehending the fire starter. After all that was done, he soon heard that the blood user became friends with old Kodoma. He even gave the kid a chance to sign his name in the ancient oak of all the humans who have formed a bond with plants.
Several years past, and his home was under attack by another human. This time, Brōlu was ready and stepped in. But the weirdest thing happened. That same blue haired human he has seen so long ago appeared again. He stood in between Brōlu and the enemy human.
"Don't worry friend. I'll make sure this dude pays for what he's done." The Blue haired one said.
Brōlu grunted and walked over and stood by the blood user. "First off. I ain't friends with any humans. This is my home, I'll deal with him." This was actually a small test he was doing on the human. Seeing if what he has heard about him was true. And if he was worth putting trust in.
Brōlu had to admit. If the blue haired one didn't help out, the plant creature would be a pile of ashes now. After the enemy human was taken care of, Brōlu attacked the blood user. Tackling him down to the ground, "Tell me, human! What do you want from me!"
Instead of retaliating, the human did nothing, which confused Brōlu. The blue haired one then said, "I don't want anything from you. Unless, if you want, companionship. You seemed to handle yourself well back there."
The plant creature thought about it for a second. "Of course I handled myself well. I ain't no pushover like you are. But let's say I do join you. I will not be part of your tool to use when war wages. And yes, I do know of a war. The trees whispers of blood being spilt, death and destruction. I've heard of plant and wildlife dying to make components for weapons."
The blue haired one stayed quiet. And then he said, "You are right. You are not a tool, or a weapon, or any of that. You are much more. You are alive. And for the fact that they are destroying your home, means you have to do something about it. There is much more at stake than human lives. But all the lives."
Brōlu listened as the human talked. He snarled at every word he said, but the last sentence seemed to getting him. He got up and let the human pick himself up. "Fine I'll help. Be your companion. But just know, this doesn't make us friends. I have no human friends, and am not looking to make any. Only allies willing to help for the better. For my home."
Dumb luck. That was what Ziren was betting this whole thing on was dumb luck. He himself couldn't believe it for a second. As he had slipped the herb into the Chimera's jaws, it was ready to swipe and probably kill him. But then it stopped, and retreated back, disappearing into the foliage. He...

Dead Bone Pulse - Passive Dead Bone Pulse is the trait from which all other Kaguya skills and techniques originate from. It describes a special power that those which inherit the Bloodline Limit of the clan possess to manipulate the characteristics of their skeletal structure to increase their durability, eject jagged weapons from their body or even fire high-speed projectiles. Rank 1/2/3: The user creates a weapon with 1/2/3 augments. This weapon automatically has the Special Composition: Non-Element augment which does not count towards the augment limit. Cost: 0 AP and 100 HP + 100 HP per round
Special Action: By adding the maintain cost of Dead Bone Pulse to their next Taijutsu Technique, the user can cover their weapon in bone, making it count as being equipped with the Special Composition: Non-Elemental augment for that attack.
Notes:
Dead Bone Pulse costs no AP to activate (it only needs to be declared), but takes the timing of 1 AP to come into effect.
Dead Bone Pulse follows all the rules for a Weapon Creation Jutsu even though it is not a Ninjutsu.
---
Rapid Healing - Passive The Kaguya's ability constantly punctures and shreds their flesh upon the removal of their bones, and though excruciatingly painful for younger members, the Kaguya naturally begin to shrug off this pain as their body begins to become accustomed to this wear and tear, their skin rapidly repairing any punctures or lacerations they may be afflicted with almost as quickly as they are cut. Rank 1/2/3: When the user performs a Non-Elemental technique, they gain 10%/15%/20% of the CP cost as Temporary HP. Whenever the user gains Temporary HP this way, they may remove a level of bleeding. Bleeding removed this way cannot go below Rank 3 / 2 / 1.
Notes:
Any Taijutsu Techniques containing Non-Elemental damage applies for this passive.
Bleed levels may only be removed this way once per 10 seconds.
Ballet of Bones - Kaguya Fighting Style The Kaguya clan is full of talented and graceful fighters. They have a fighting style that takes advantage of their unique bone manipulation abilities, forming a dance of sorts, moving with the rhythm of the battle. Rank 1/2/3: Upon entering this style for the first time, the user gains 1 Bone Counter for 10 seconds, up to a maximum of 1 / 2 / 3. Switching to any of the Dances listed below grants an additional Bone Counter and refreshes the duration.
Dance of the Willow: The user gains +1 Accuracy for each Bone Counter.
Dance of the Cammelia: The user gains +5% Non-Elemental Damage per Bone Counter.
Dance of Clemantis: When entering this dance, the user may destroy a weapon created by Dead Bone Pulse. When creating a new weapon using Dead Bone Pulse or using the special action, one of the previous destroyed weapon's augments will apply to the next X attack/s, where X is equal to the amount of Bone Counter/s.
Dance of the Larch: For every Bone Counter, 10% of the user's Temporary HP is dealt as additional damage upon Melee Contact. Temporary HP used this way is lost.
Dance of the Seedling Fern: The user automatically attempts to enter stealth. This may only occur once per 10 seconds, however for each Bone Counter past 1 reduces the cooldown of all remaining Dances(including this one) by 2 seconds.
Cost: 0.5 AP to enter or switch to a Dance
Notes:
When the style is entered, the user choose which Dance to apply first.
Switching Dances applies a 10 second cooldown before you can enter that Dance again, unless activated through other means.
Switching Dances automatically applies the new bonuses while removing the previous Dance bonuses.
Counts either as Chakra or Physical Style. Must be declared upon entering.
All normal augment rules apply to Dance of Clemantis.
---
Ultimate Bone Defence - Non-Elemental Ninjutsu The Kaguya has mastered the ability to manipulate their bones into a dense layer of armour, reinforcing them and helping prevent damage from nearly every technique used against them. They can also temporarily increase the hardness of the layers to increase this defence at the expense of movement. Rank 1/2/3: The user gains 5%/10%/15% DR. Once per 10 seconds, the user can heal a single called shot level.
Cost: 2 AP 565 CP, 285 CP per round Special Action: For 0.5 AP the user can take -3 Dodge to double the DR for 5 seconds.
Notes:
The Special action can be done once per 10 seconds.
Ultimate Bone Defence is a Chakra Armor.
---
Flourish of the Camellia - Variable Taijutsu The second of five "dance flourishes" which the Kaguya Clan is famous for, the Flourish of the Camellia is a series of attacks within the dance that are performed at varying speed, often times inter-mixed between their other attacks and "dances", disrupting an opponent's ability to perceive it. It is typically utilized as a continuous stream of attacks which is executed until the opponent makes a mistake and shows a weakness in their defense. Rank 1/2/3: The user strikes a target for 960/1150/1380 Physical Damage at +1/+2/+3 Accuracy. Maintaining this technique will have the strike repeat once every 10 seconds.
Cost: 1.75 Ap, 440 CP, 220 per round.
Notes:
This Taijutsu subtype matches the weapon used for it.
When using this technique, the user can choose to switch into Dance of the Camellia for free.
This can be used as a Called shot.
This can be maintained for a maximum of 30 seconds.

---
Flourish of the Clemantis - Variable Taijutsu Removing their spine from their back as a crescendo of the fourth "dance", this flourish creates a linked spear which is held together by chakra-enhanced cartilage giving it the flexibility of a rope but the strength of steel chains. Rumor has it that this flourish has a second, more deadly phase which is usually used as a follow-up to the first step.
Rank 1/2/3: The user attempts to bind a target at -5/-4/-3 Special Action - Bloom: If the target is successfully bound, the user may destroy the weapon, dealing 1500/1875/2250 Physical Damage Cost: 2.25 AP 820 CP
Notes:

When using this Taijutsu the user can switch into the Dance of the Clemantis for free.
The special action may be used at any time while the opponent is still bound.
The special action counts for the Dance of the Clemantis' effect.

Bound targets have at 15% chance to escape per 2 AP they use.
---
Flourish of the Seedling Fern - Variable Taijutsu Commonly thought to be the most fearsome technique to the Kaguya clan, this ability allows the Shikotsumyaku Kaguya to flow a vast amount of calcium into the ground, supercharged with their chakra, which rapidly spreads across a large area and from there condenses into countless spines of sharp bone. Due to the chakra flowing through those spines the Shikotsumyaku Kaguya is able to merge and move through them freely like a shark through water while their opponents are stymied and wounded by the grove of bone spikes. Rank 1/2/3: Creates a bone forest covering the battlefield, which will immediately attempt to attack each participant in the battle except the user and the users creations/clones. These attacks are 352/440/530 physical damage each, and are split equally among the available targets. In addition, the terrain modifier for the user counts as Heavy Cover while Flourish of the Seedling Fern is active. There are 9 strikes, but each target may only be hit by three per round.
Cost: 2.75 AP, 2480 CP
Note:
This is a Terrain Technique
This Taijutsu subtype matches the weapon used for it.
When using this technique, the user can choose to switch into Dance of the Seedling Fern for free.
Chimeiarashi are often called “Storm born”, not because of an affinity to actual weather events but because their arrival on the field of battle is like a hurricane smashing an armada. With their speed and strength, they are often seen flitting from foe to foe, leaving a weapon embedded in each as it takes too much time to draw it back out after it’s been put in place. Chimeiarashi do not behold themselves to their equipment, believing them to be mere tools to their trade. And their trade is death.
Information Prerequisites: Kinjutsu Application, 3 Ability Slots, B Rank
Effects:
The user’s passive weapon modifiers, (Such as the weapon Acc/Damage modifiers and Weapon Attunement), do not count towards the Acc/Damage cap.
The user’s weapons cannot have their base damage modifier lowered by any means. This means the +5/10% from weapon creation. (Does not apply to damage modifiers gained from sources such as buffing taijutsu.)
The user gains the Quickdraw Ability and will not take up a slot
Chimeiarashi often leaves a weapon impaled into an opponent after striking, the time it takes to pull it out usually being longer than it would to simply move on to the next foe and strike them down. This presents some curious upsides in that if your opponent didn’t die this could make them wish they had.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi
Effect: The user may lower the base damage of a Taijutsu Technique by -15% to Impale the target with the weapon used. A target that is Impaled has +10% Bleed Chance and after 10 seconds has their Bleed Rank increased by 1.
Notes:
The weapon used to cause the Impaled status is not usable while the target is Impaled.
When the weapon is removed the Impaled status ends, and the weapon is dropped.
A target can be Impaled by multiple weapons, the Bleed Level increase does not stack.
The Impaled Status can be removed for 1 AP. This may be done by the user or the Impaled target, removing all weapons Impaled in the target.
When the Impaled Status is removed, if the target was Impaled by 5 weapons, their Bleed Level increases by 1.
This technique uses Basic Strike Damage as per the user’s OOC rank.
Removing the Impaled Status causes Basic Strike Damage from each Weapon, with a +10% bleed chance per weapon removed (3 weapons removed would deal 450 Physical Damage with a +30% Bleed chance at S-Rank)..
When the user removes the Impaled Status, they may choose one weapon’s augments to apply to this damage. If the target removes the Impaled Status, no augments will apply.
Raising a target’s Bleed Level by removing the Impaled Status may happen once per 10 seconds.
An Impaled target cannot have their Bleed Rank lowered while Impaled.
A target can only be Impaled by a maximum of 5 weapons at a time.
May not be used with Weapon Creation Techniques except Armiger Arsenal
Sometimes, a weapon just doesn’t cut it. Steel can only go so far, and against chakra that distance is not much. When they are required to use more than mere steel, a Chimearashi reaches into their talent pool for this technique. Through specific chakra manipulation, they can change the way their weapon is perceived by the world.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi
Effect: The user may change the Damage Type of their Taijutsu attacks, which has the following effects:
Changing a Taijutsu into Elemental Damage lowers the base damage by 10%.
Changing a Taijutsu into Illusionary Damage lowers the base damage by 20%.
Notes:
Changing the Damage Type allows other damage buffs to apply. (A Taijutsu changed to Elemental Damage receives the user’s Elemental Damage buffs in addition to their Taijutsu Damage buffs.)
The Chimeiarashi have developed a technique to be surrounded by floating spectral copies of their weapons, always within reach for any attack they wish to make.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi
Rank 1/2: The user creates a Spectral Copy of 5/7 of the weapons in their inventory. Each Spectral Copy is not dispelled as long as the user maintains Armiger Arsenal.
Special Action - Armorer’s Sacrifice: On a full hit, the user may choose to break a Spectral Copy used for the technique to ignore the target’s DR. The Spectral Copy used this way is destroyed.
Cost: 2.25 AP and 680 CP, 340 CP/rnd
Notes:
This is a Weapon Creation Technique
Armiger Arsenal ends when there are no Spectral Copies left.
May be maintained for a maximum of 30 seconds.
Armorer’s Sacrifice may only be used once per 10 seconds.
A Chimearashi is a master of multiple weapons, and no skill shows that better than this. By utilizing expert control, they can attack with multiple weapons at once, looking like a whirlwind of blows.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi
Rank 1/2: The user makes two attacks each with 4/5 different weapons from their inventory at +1 accuracy against a single target.
Special Action - Enforced Harakiri: The user may pay +20% CP to use any weapon currently causing the Impaled status on the target for Steelwind. Each weapon used this way applies +5% Bleed Chance. This does not end the Impaled Status.
Cost: 2.25 AP 680 CP
Notes:
This technique uses Basic Strike Damage as per the user’s OOC rank.
The user draws and sheaths the weapons used for Steelwind for no cost.
All augments apply as normal.
May not be used with Weapon Creation Techniques except Armiger Arsenal
By attuning their chakra to one of their weapons, a Chimearashi harnesses their chakra to create an inanimate ally in the midst of battle. While this costs them the weapon for that fight, it can create openings that would otherwise not be possible.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi, A rank
Rank 1/2: The user chooses one weapon from their inventory to create an Animated Weapon. The Animated Weapon has 5280/6600 HP and -4/-3 secondaries of the user. Rank 2 applies the user’s buffs at the time of creation to the Animated Weapon. Whenever the user performs an offensive Taijutsu Technique, the Animated Weapon will mimic the same Technique, retaining the same secondary effects, but dealing 1170/1470 damage.
Cost: 2.75 3025 CP, 1510 CP/rnd
Notes:
This is a Creation Technique.
The Animated Weapon may only mimic 3 offensive Taijutsu Techniques every 10 seconds.
The weapon used to create the Animated Weapon cannot be used while Soul of the Sword is maintained.
The mimicked technique will match the Taijutsu subtype of the Animated Weapon, not the mimicked technique.
Attacks from the Animated Weapon will count as attacks from the user in regards to conditionals.
May not be used with Weapon Creation Techniques except Armiger Arsenal
The ultimate defense can often be a great offense instead. – A technique that utilizes the prowess of a multi-weapon master at great cost. By channeling their inner fury, a Chimearashi can become the very storm they embody.
Information Prerequisites: Chimeiarashi, S rank
Rank 1/2: Creates a whirlwind of weapons around the user using each weapon in the user’s Inventory. Any non-Genjutsu Technique targeting the user has a 5%/10% chance of being Parried per weapon in Calamity Storm, capping at 25%/50%. A Parried Technique has -1/-2 Accuracy/Gen DC and gives the user +5%/+10% DR per weapon used in Calamity Storm. If a Technique is Parried, each weapon makes a single Basic Strike targeting the attacker.
Special Action - Sheathing the Sword: The user may reflexively cause the Impaled status to the attacker if they are hit with the Basic Strike from the Calamity Storm. Each weapon used this way is removed from the Calamity Storm.
Special Action - Drawing the Sword: For 0.5 AP and no CP cost, the user may end the Impaled status on a target and add the weapons to Calamity Storm. This may be used when Calamity Storm is first used for no AP cost.
Cost: 3.75 AP 3940 CP, 1970 CP/rnd.
Notes:
This is a Chakra Armor Technique.
A target may receive a maximum of 5 Basic Strikes from Calamity Storm per Parried Technique.
The Parried technique Acc/Gen DC penalty caps at -5
The Parried technique DR caps at 50%.
While Calamity Storm is maintained, if the user uses a Taijutsu Technique, they may use a weapon from Calamity Storm. This removes the weapon from Calamity Storm for the duration of the Taijutsu Technique.
The Basic Strikes from a Parried technique do not count as Melee Contact.
May not be used unless the user has at least 3 non-broken weapons in their inventory.
If Calamity Storm’s Parried chance is reduced to 0%, Calamity Storm ends.
This may be maintained for a maximum of 30 seconds.
May not be used with Weapon Creation Techniques except Armiger Arsenal
