Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

". . .Out on the open seas. . ."

Plentiful, the breeze of the mountains carried them calmly through the morning, as Rozan tried to hold simple conversation with the group planning to keep them occupied in thought enough as the morning would turn into the after noon and the harbor would slowly come through the brush. This was not his country, so there could have been a quicker way, but he would not take any risks when his children were in the midst as well as his wife and followed by the two that were left in his care. The core of Rozan's mind locked unto taking care of his daughter handing her off, to Cereza when it was time for feeding. . . and taking Yoichi when it wasnt his turn and when he was silently sleeping calming him down like a good daddy should and allowing him to feel the love that Rozan's father had once shown him.

"Well~ We're almost there team. Sorry for the quiet walking over the last minute. . . Just making sure we didnt get lost. So. . . Yeah~", nodding he would continue forward knowing thats not anything anyone wanted to hear but he could feel the tremors of the ground, and the voice of the woods. They all spoke to him as well as gave him direction. . . thus was the Lurraren Tribe of the Katai. They were taught the adept nature of the blood centered around the Kyobaku Bloodline trait. . . as well as those born of Earth and Metal. They were grounded people. . . that nurtured and cared for the earth. Gaia was a center of acknowledgement. . . though Rozan wasnt as deep because of troubles with his father.

The one that was in Jail. . .

Though finally they would make it through the brush, he would nod and with his best quirky attempt at a pirate tone. . .

"Ahoy~ Thar she be~ The lovliest of vessels. The SS Firewood~", and with a chuckle he would not have to make any sort of handseals but frmo the water and the sand would surface a sturdy wooden boat for them to use to get to their ship, the rather large ship that was likely meant for a large crew of about ten or more. Though it had only been Rozan and Cereza relaxing and enjoying this vast ship. . . or an overgrown Yacht. Which ever they preferred to call it, so with a snap of his fingers he would guide them into the boats (one for the living beings and one for all of their belongings and provisions.) "Watch your step~ Please be careful. I promised to bring you all back in one piece. Hehe, I intend to do so.", nodding he would make his way out to the ships as he walked next to them pulling them behind him while still carrying the load on his back. Rozan was quite the worker, and was immensely stronger than a normal human being. . . physically. . .

He did everything seemingly with extremely buoyant wood that would lead them with stairs and other such to the main deck of the boat, "Yo ho ho~ and a bottle of~ Rum! However, maybe later. . .", packing everything into the hull of the ship, showing everyone to their respective rooms and cabins and making sure Cereza was situated before he took over this time. . . this was his voyage. He would take the lead this time. . . he'd watched her, so he knew he could ask her if he had trouble. However, he was pretty sure that he could manage.

Lowering the sails. . . lifting the anchors. . . and finally taking off his trenchcoat to reveal his wooden arm but it wasnt COMPLETELY revealed jsut a darker coloration of his left arm from the rest of his body but it looked perfectly like a normal limb.

"Hope you're ready to get acquainted~ We'll be on this trip for a while~", then they would begin to blow into the direction as his clones in the hull would be pushing the boat against the current. . .

They were off to Water country~

Natsu let out a sigh of relief as at long last the harbor came into sight. It was but a smaller offshoot from the massive docks in Port Cirrus, though Natsu did not mind. He had been there quite a few times, usually during Missions, and the place was horrid. It stank of evil, though that was likely just because of the lack of showers. So to find they had their private ship in a secluded area was somewhat of a relief to him. As long as they didn't expect him to be a full-fledged sailor once he stepped aboard, everything would work out. He was capable at the very least at telling port and starboard from one another. As long as the children nor Haruka would get seasick, this could become quite the joyeous trip!

Rozan and Cereza proved to be pleasant company at the very least. Even if his pirate accent was a tad off, the man had been telling humorous tales all throughout their trip. Natsu hed little doubt the Kiri-Nin would have plenty more and would have the chance to discover the truth of it while aboard. Cereza seemed an equally joyeous spirit, though she had remained rather silent throughout the trek over. Natsu imagined being a mother was quite tiring, even when the children were so little. Perhaps especially then. About her he had no doubts either. Their companions would be easy to get along with. He just hoped he wouldn't be charged with babysit duty while they withdrew to their quarters for.. private time.

Climbing from the little rowboats up to the ship and being led to his cabin, he was impressed by the craftsmanship. Surely this vessel must've cost a fortune! His cabin rivalled his little appartment in Kumogakure, both when it came to size as richnessness in decorations. It seemed he'd not only have a talk about a possible exam but about a Main Branch-funded studio as well. Hikari, the Chief Ambassador, had arranged something similar if he recalled correctly. He didn't need anything quite as fancy as Haruka's manor. That place only had tons of security issues, like sun roofs people could trip through. Nay, he wouldn't let ensai Gabureiru, Master of Couriers, or any of his subordinates sneak into his room that easily!

As various Rozan's swarmed downstairs to get the ship away from land and set their course down the river, Natsu looked back once through the porthole of his cabin. It'd be quite some time until he'd set foot on Lightning soil again after all. None of those troubling thoughts however! Rozan had mentioned something about a bottle of rum and while the Chunin wouldn't drink any himself, he was curious about it's effects on Haruka. He had been somewhat distant from her, their recent stop giving him some stuff to think about, but if they'd share a ship for two to three weeks, he might as well do it with her drunk! Or at least try and get on slightly friendlier ground.

The smell of the harbor hit her before the sight of it. The distinct breeze of salt and wetness lingered in her mouth, the smell so strong she could taste it. Lingering was the sour note of fish being freshly pulled off the harbor, and the reeking smell of sweat of the sailors that labored away in the port. The lapping of waves against the pillars of the dock echoed on the wind. She shielded her eyes from the sun that reflected brilliantly on the water surface.

As much as she was beginning to trust Rozan, she didn’t quite trust the gangway he laid out for the crew. She stood at the entrance, hesitating to leave her homeland. She looked over her shoulder for a brief moment. Everything would be different upon her return. She would be an adventurer. Mature in ways she couldn’t begin to fathom. Even her country would be different with a possible alliance on the horizon. This was the first step. So, with all these symbolic things weighing heavily in her mind, Haruka took her first step onto the plank.

The boat barely rocked as the waves wobbled around the vessel. She immediately inspected the sea from the side of the boat. Leaning over the railing, she looked down into the water. Intimidating and mysterious, yet wonderful and peaceful. Rozan showed them to their cabins. Exhausted from the trip, she let Rozan know she would be staying in her room as the rest of them gathered on deck. As excited as she was to be seeing the world, the dark haired woman was already homesick. Safely under the covers of her new bed, Haruka dreamt of home and prayed for a safe return home.

The journey had been long, but the weather was at least nice. On the way, she had had her fill of changing, feeding, and taking care of the twins. Rozan would take care of one as she handled the other. Yoichi seemed to be a bit more high maintainance than his sister, but perhaps boys often were. At least they were happy though. Cereza herself though seemed ready to pass out. She was just ready for a long rest. The horses at least made the journey more pleasant for her, though even horses can make a journey tasking. She let out a sigh when they reached the boat. It was nice to see it again. The familiar image of Rozan's clones taking care of the ship was a sight to see indeed. They rowed out to the boat, and once they managed to get on she headed straight for the Captain's quarters. Rozan would take care of Natsu and Haruka, so that took some worry off of her mind. She wanted to be a good host, but she just needed her energy back first and this was a sure way to get it. She held both the twins in each arm and before disappearing she would speak to everyone. "I hope you all enjoy the trip. It'll take some time to get to Kirigakure, but you'd be surprised what you can see in the waters along the way." Cereza then disappeared into the cabin, placed the children into a makeshift crib that would keep them safe as the ship traveled over the waters and turned in for the evening.
