Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

First, there was silence. Everyone that was there stood still and quiet as Takeshi fell. Ziren then heard a half familiar voice, it was Izumi. Ziren jumped down from where he was and ran as fast as he could to Takeshi.

He slid to a stop, next to his teacher. Even though Ziren has been in the wrong so many times and Takeshi has been there to get mad and punish him for the actions that he took, Ziren still sees the Uchiha as a father.

Ziren listened to Takeshi's blood flow. This was not good. Not good at all. And what made matters worse, was that he had no bandages! He cussed at himself for not being prepared all the time.

He made some hand seals and it only started to rain a small bit. Enough to clean the wound that Takeshi had.

Once the rain stopped, giving him some time to process what he was seeing, his eyes turned blood red.

He hasn't seen a wound like this before. Actually, he has never seen wounds this bad since he was never part of the medical field like his cousin was.

"If we can hook him up to something, we can transfer my blood to him to keep him from going out of it."

Ziren then looked at the person who defeated Takeshi. He swears that he's seen him around before. But he can't out a finger on it. He turned his attention back to Takeshi, thinking of what to do.

(Just a notice to Maru – I had to drop the rank of this mission to C so Izumi and Ziren could join. If you don’t want to take part, here’s your out.)

Three young men came running up. Maki recognized Maru and Ziren from their past encounters. Maru asked the fun question, how to fix Takeshi’s injuries. One of them offered to mend him. Ziren began going on about blood transfers. Maki sat there watching the three of them with a mix of astonishment and disappointment. This was it?

”Wait, wait. None of you know how to heal this kind of thing? What do you do if you’re on a mission in another land and your fellow ANBU gets laid low? ……we’ll need to work on that, I guess. But for right now, no Ziren we are not transferring your blood into him. Do you see any blood around? His wounds aren’t physical. Step one is to make him comfortable and make sure he doesn’t injure himself. So get to it. Consider this a medical lesson.”

Maki could already tell he was going to need to get an actual mednin involved. While he was trained as such, it’d been a while since he had to do anything involving healing beyond the basics. He steps back and watches as the three go to follow that step. ”Takeshi has been hurt by illusionary damage, which is often the result of genjutsu. As the name implies, it isn’t a physical thing. Go ahead and try whatever you think might help fix such a thing.” Step two, remember that it was all in the mind.

It was true... coming to medical he hardly knew anything regarding some mental damage... the most he was familiar with was physical wounds... ONe that was on your body or in your body, not the mind itself. Slowly he started to think over his words. He wouldn't be of use if he didn't start thinking harder... What had he learned in his academy time regarding Genjutsu... because that had been used.

In result of his many thoughts, he started to walk towards both the others muttering his thoughts out loud. "Genjutsu is rarely employed, most shinobi preferring the real, tangible effects of ninjutsu and taijutsu over the imagined effects of Genjutsu... Those under the influence of Genjutsu will either appear to be unconscious or continue to move around under the pretense of the Genjutsu. The latter is very effective in battle as a Genjutsu user can make themselves appear to be somewhere else and attack the victim from behind or change the environment to make the victim see a flat plain where there is a steep cliff." He took a breath. "Let's try to get him more stable laying down... He is face down...." He started to undo his hoody leaving him in a tee. "Let's use this to support his head... We need to think of something... We might not know right now what is going on in his mind... He might act or react." He started to tell the others. Sharing on what he was thinking as he was carefully folding his hoody towards something that could be used to support his head.

Somewhere... somewhere in his mind, there had to be a way that there was a change to Genjutsu... Yet slowly he figured strange things. "He is an Uchiha... Wouldn't a Sharingan see through the Genjutsu normally..?" He asked the others as he wasn't sure. "And wasn't it that normally you would use physical pain to obstruct Genjutsu in a real battle..?" He was worried and was just thinking. "What if we tried to talk to him..? Something different then what a Genjutsu would do." He said as he made sure the hoody would be under Takeshi's head as he was laying on his back if the others did help him with it. Otherwise, he would do that on his own.

Ziren blinked. What he thought he seen was blood, there wasn't. It seemed that the Genjustu was powerful enough to even trick Ziren's own mind. Now he understood why the ANBU and medical branches were working more closely together than ever before. From his last talk with Mikasa. Because if one of them falls in battle. It will be hard to carry on a mission with only half or a third of your team being able to function.

He mentally beat himself up for not really going to Mikasa after their talk, to start learning how to heal wounds.

But then again. What would he do for this? The guy, who is really starting to come into Ziren's mind if who he was, told them that this was illusionary. A Genjustu. He, was never really good a Genjustu himself, looked up at the man. "So what, do we just use cancel justsu on him? To take him out of the Genjustu?"
