Noroi took a small pause after a few moments of following Kenji, waiting for his teammates and teacher to catch up. The wind and the snow seemed so beautiful together, constantly moving around in harmony like a never ending dance. It was a cold, but Noroi's body had gotten used to it by now. By the time they caught up, Kenji seemed a good distance away, and still cackling madly as always.
Noroi's ears twitched when he heard his instructions. Akuma, another boy with red hair. Almost like blood.... Nope, too light of a tone. He smiled a little at akuma, hoping he could be a possible friend. Nervously, he scratched the scar on his neck. When the group came to the split paths, Noroi rubbed his eyes a few times. Was Kenji mirrored? Or did he split?! What logic is in this spirit world? Carefully following miss Seika's instructions, he walked towards the right path next to akuma
At first everything seemed alright, perfectly normal (as the spirit world can get), but the something strange happened. Akuma seemed to be really far away from him, like miles. Noroi tried to jog towards him, but Akuma seemed to be getting farther and farther away. Then a deep mist appeared, blocking all view. Noroi ran forward blindly, not knowing where to go.
Next thing he knew, he was in a park. Warm, soft sunlight bathed the area. A nice breeze was in the air. Before Noroi could observe anything else, three girls ran up to him. Their names suddenly just appeared in his head. How does that work? He hadn't seen them before. The girl named Ai grabbed on to his arm and said she missed him and not to leave. Noroi hadn't met them in the past, have he? A mix of emotions swam in his head. He had never felt any affection before. He didn't really know how to give affection. And here he was with a girl hugging his arm. She seemed to genuinely care about him, and Noroi's eyes had a few small tears in them from the first true sign of affection he had felt in his life. But one more detail unnerved him. The other girls said for Ai to share him. Were they going to eat him?
"H-hello a-Ai....? H-have we m-met b-before? W-were we f-friends i-in the p-past?" Noroi nervously asked, trying to scope out the details on this place
"Please don't e-eat m-me" he added quietly
