Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Event [Event - RRV] Viral Rumors

A yell came sounding for people to get away, it wasn't pleading, it wasn't fear... It was the sound of an order, the man in the middle stood there with determination. As soon as he had shouted it, the black sky lifted, making way for those to clear the area. A lot of people who had been hiding started to run and soon there was only the sound of smoldering around them, of hissing that the fires were slowly taken down. Not even the knocked-out doctor was screaming right now. Yet as soon as people had the chance to flee, another black orb started to expand, but this time solely around the crazed mercenary and the two abysmal.

In the meanwhile, the man who was pinned started to lose consciousness for more than one reason, bloodless and shocked. The long-haired hero scribbled a medical sigil on him, preventing him from dying. Even though the man wished it would welcome him right at the moment. The next second wind started to gather in the palm of the young man. Gathering until a small burst of wind was released, knocking away the beam and so the last bits of support started to wear more on the ice that was holding it in place. A few ice splinters started to crack away. The blood supply was added through the medical jutsu that Shun was doing. It made also the doctor wake up again, scream, and notice he was free. He tried to crawl a little away but noticed soon that it was no doing without his legs. Gritting his teeth he felt a guilt coming up, his life, his dream everything was done for. It was barely out of harm's way, when Shun picked him up, right when he picked up the man the ice pillar gave way and crashed along with the rubble at the spot.

The youngest of them all did something almost stupid... He almost went too deep with his self-harm and managed to dodge the tendons and muscles in the back of his hand. But he did nick one of the smaller vains, making him bleed more than he had probably bargained for. The light that shined through the next second, was almost a welcome sign to most people fleeing. Some started to pray to the sky, some started to say that this was the end. A mixed sense of talk started to mutter, but most were all out of harm's way... but one light tried to penetrate the black orb that Kureji had spawned anew. A child was too scared to run, to talk, and to move. It sat down in a corner with boxes shivering. Covering his ears and his eyes closed shut tight. Tears were going down his cheek and all you could occasionally hear were the hiccups.

Kureji had not yet noticed as the hand seals were made, an explosive ninjutsu that would probably turn the town into a crater. A roar sounded from inside, as the elemental tried to stand up once more, trying to get closer to the 'enemy'. Yet a sphere hit him, but what happened was something no one really could realize except a very sharp nose. There was a gas pipe below that busted and was leaking through the cracks of the ground. The only thing Kureji didn't foresee was that the burst was a lot bigger than a small bit.

Akio was busy trying to reinforce the surroundings, first off he tried to make walls, one of the bigger ones, and barely set one up, then the next... but the gasbelow made it unstable from the beginning. A giant barrier was cast not even soon after, trying to contain whatever was happening inside the black blockade... Despite all of this... A massive boom happened.

Inside the black blockade, the ground started to swell up, under the pressure it was in. The pressure was so large, that no one could estimate what was exactly happening. A tremor, then a blinding flash. The gas and jutsu detonated, sending s shockwave that buckled the ground, building pieces and everything. From the chaos Kureji just barely noticed a child. As quick as he could, he set up a barrier over the terrified child. The force of the blast slammed into Kureji, the barrier held and saved the child. But the adult man would be blown away like ragdoll, at first against the black blockade until that fell from the blast. Then he would be flung through the barrier that Akio had set up.

Through the blast, one of the walls had failed, to everyone's luck. All the people at that wall had evacuated just in time. The barrier of Akio managed to save Kureji too.. Dust started to settle, revealing a child, unharmed, crying loudly now as he couldn't contain it anymore. The air hung heavy with the scent of Ozone and something else... Something faintly sweet, almost like burned sugar.

Kureji yelled at the top of his lungs to get people to move out of the danger areas. He had let his Black Blockade dissipate so that an evacuation can be made. But he knew that if he wanted to destroy this thing in a glorious fashion, he would have to once again contain the battle again. As the new barrier he made came into effect, the sound of the music would only reach his own ears, the jutsu was strong enough to block out the song that was playing for all to hear.

He flipped through his own hand seals, thinking to make an explosion worth admiring, and sent it out at the Harbinger, well, one of them at least. The other two explosive chakra spheres crashed into two random areas where he guessed the gas leak could be from. But that is when all hell broke loose.

Time is weird. Especially weird for a ninja who is fast enough to have crazy reaction times. Out in the corner of his eyes, he seen a light, something about Sandy hair saying not to go to, as there are people there. His eyes widened as he realized that it was a kid. Kureji was planning on using the barrier technique on himself, but he has priorities. The kid was just an innocent bystander to this whole debacle. Kureji would flash the kid a smile as he protected the kid with his barrier technique and took the full force of his own explosive technique, mixed with all natural explosions straight to his face.

Now it would be totally badass if Kureji just took the blast like a champ and did a 'cool guys don't look at explosions as they walk away' type of thing. But instead, he settled for crashing through his Black blockade with enough force to destroy a wall that separated him and the explosion from everyone else, broke through the many layers of barriers that Sandy hair had, but still was in one piece. Kureji groaned out in pain as he got up, his clothes now looking more like undistinguishable rags in a fire, thankfully still keeping him fully clothed, as he assessed the damage done to him. Still in one piece and- whoa! He nearly blacked out and caught himself from falling. Looking down at his right arm, its bent in all types of weird ways that might not be too good for him to deal with. But hey! Adrenaline sure is good, though, once it is done running through his system, he is sure to feel the pain soon after.

And he's bleeding from multiple areas on his chest. No doubt being at ground zero of such an event had caused shrapnel to embed itself into him. He jumped, hoping to do a graceful land, back inside the now dissipating black blockade, spoiler, he landed on his face, after realizing his left foot is also bent in an odd way. But with all that going for him, he ignored it all as he went to check on the kid. Picking the kid up, he would carry him over until a parent would take their child. "Kid, when I say run, you run." He gave the kid advice before he hobbled over to the two Leaf ninja.

"Sup." He looked back at the crater, "I got the spider." He felt himself start to get woozy, but he held fast. Not like he was acting tough, no. But he knows that these two should put their focus on the citizens rather than him for right now.

Akio braced himself behind the remains of his towering earth walls, breath catching in his throat as the final blast rocked the street. One of his barricades had already shattered under the force, sending chunks of stone spraying in every direction. Smoke and fire battered the air, and the impact knocked him to one knee, causing him to twist his already-injured hand. A flare of pain shot through his wrist, but he forced himself upright. The other walls still stood, and he could see that a few frightened civilians had huddled behind the shimmering Tidal Wall. Their bruises and burns faded slowly in the healing water. He said a silent thanks that his jutsu had done its job when it mattered most.

Pulling in a ragged breath, Akio hurried toward the wreckage where Kureji stood. The rocker was still upright, amazingly. Without a word, Akio pressed a hand to Kureji’s chest, granting the musician his Senju High Speed Regeneration. The healing Natural Energy would slide over torn flesh and splintered bones, stitching skin and binding wounds back together. “Thanks whoever you are! Those things were gettin' out of control!” Akio said, voice still noticeably carrying some of the adrenaline of the chaotic circumstances. “But maybe next time try not to crack the city in half in the process?” He'd ask, his hand sheepishly scratching the back of his hair. Despite the admonishment, there was genuine relief on Akio’s face as the worst of Kureji’s injuries mended under his palm.

When Akio finally leaned back, the green luster in his eyes dulled and the markings on his face lost their sea-green glow. Concentric hexagons on his forehead faded into faint outlines before disappearing completely. The red lines returned to their original hue as Turtle Sage Mode slipped away, leaving him feeling both drained and sharply aware of the throbbing in his hand. He cradled his wrist against his chest for a moment, exhaling as he tried to steady himself.

He then spotted Shun supporting the half-conscious doctor, and his face took on a more serious quality once more. “Is he stable?” Akio asked, crossing over with a concerned look. The doctor’s eyes fluttered, but at least he was breathing. “You gonna get this guy and all these refugees back to the village?” Shifting his weight, Akio grimaced at the distant screams and groans of the injured. He turned back to Shun and said, “There are probably more people out there in the rubble! I'll try and get any stragglers out and keep healing who I can!”

The last echoes of the explosion still rattled in his ears, but at least the worst had passed. Squaring his shoulders despite his fatigue, Akio headed for the nearest screams, determined to help those the broken wall might not have protected. Looking back at the now-healing missing-nin, he'd ask, "You gonna help?!"

Shun was thankful his medical ward was able to transfer well, though his concern was still focused on getting this man out alive. Once the beam was removed from the man's legs and a bit of healing jutsu applied, Shun made quick work of gathering the man up off the ground. Thankfully, he managed to move just before a pillar of ice crashed over them. A breath of surprise escaped Shun as he felt adrenaline course through his veins.

He took a moment to look around the rubble, noticing with a wash of relief that their enemies were finally taken care of. They weren't out of the water yet, with all the damage and the citizens of Crater City needing care, but they didn't have to worry about any more damage, at least for now.

Shun looked to his companions, the rowdy one seeming to have taken quite a bit of damage. Shun's fellow MIT placed a hand of healing upon the man, and Shun called over his clone to continue a few medical jutsu on the doctor he was supporting as well. Once Akio noticed him, Shun gave a short nod of confirmation. "Stable for now, but he needs secure medical attention. I'm going to take him to the Byoin and report what I've learned to Nao." Shun let his gaze scan the rubble again, agreeing that Akio should stay and take care of the people.

"I'll try to send out help if I can, or return myself once he's in Nao's care." Shun looked to Kureji, offering a nod of his head in thanks. "We would have struggled a lot more without your help. Thank you for aiding our village. Please come to the Byoin once you finish up here, let us get you back in top shape."

Shun readjusted his hold on the doctor, knowing he didn't have the strength to carry the man's weight entirely, but his clone took the other side and aided him in getting the man moving. It was going to be quite the walk, but Shun would send out a call on his headset the moment he was within range to let Nao know he was on his way back with a patient in need.

Shun speech
Shun thought

Nobody can really get his joking manner can they? His charisma and witty comments are wasted here it seems. Kureji shrugged and said, "Call me Kota. Leader of the rock band Devil's Advocates. And better save your energy for the civ's rather than me. Not my first huge explosion to my face and certainly won't be the last." Ponytail was quick to leave with the doc but not before also giving his own thanks as well to Kureji. It kind of dawned on the missing ninja that he did most of the fighting in a sense. His control of the battlefield really led to the victory of these people who were behind the disease or virus. Could be that they were making a stronger component. Either way, Ponytail left with the only survivor of that group, most likely will be questioned later on by Leaf ninja. Other than that, he finally noticed that both Ponytail and Sandy hair were playing more supportive roles. Along with that... They were basically children.

He remembered Nao saying something along the lines about the sickness taking people out, but he at least expected more able bodied fighters. He let out a sigh, well... What's done is done. His attention went to Sandy Hair as he asked if he was going to help out or not. Sure, Kureji still has some fuel left in the tank so first he sliced his thumb and placed his hand on the ground. Yeah,
HD-wallpaper-angel-star-superstar-pretty-dress-popstar-beautiful-wing-sweet-nice-anime-hot-beauty-pop-star-anime-girl-pink-female-wings-lovely-angel-rock-star-sexy-short-hair-cute-guitar-girl.jpg
even then he was holding back a little bit, what with having a whole contract that he could have summoned too. The Kami rockstar that sometimes shows up to rock out with him poofed into existence. Aya looked around, "Is this where we're performing next?" She inquired.

Kureji shook his head, "Nah, I just need you to focus on healing the civ's. Focus on the ones that are hurt too bad first." He looked over at Akio, "As for me, I ain't all that good with the healing with the exception of that one puppet taijutsu." He tossed his guitar up in the air and had a few chakra strings attached to play a comforting melody. Kureji himself would use chakra strings to safely move debris and whatnot to get to other people that were stuck.

Unknown to him, though Akio could probably see it and sense it, Kureji's physical features were slowly changing. Probably being at ground zero of an explosion mixed in with chakra had its own effects. But Akio would also be able to sense a change in the rocker as well. More along the lines of his bloodline changing.

Akio nodded firmly at Shun as he saw him steadying the half-conscious doctor. “Yeah, it’s a good idea to get him out of here,” he said, pressing a quick check against the man’s vitals. “Anyone else able to walk, please follow him back to the Leaf hospital,” he called to a small group of refugees clustered nearby. Though many were shaky on their feet, Akio gave them an encouraging nod. “Shun’s got you covered. I promise it’s safer behind these walls than trying to go it alone.”

Turning back to Kureji, Akio blinked in surprise at the summoned winged guitarist who just appeared at the musician’s side. The optimistic teen couldn't help donning a wide grin. “Wow, you really know how to make an entrance,” he said, eyes flitting from her hovering wings to the battered remains of Kureji’s clothes. He watched with enthusiasm as Kureji's string-based techniques helped move rubble and clear the way for Aya to shower them with celestial healing. “Though, I guess summoning a bandmate might have been a good call after nearly blowing yourself up,” he added, half-laughing and half-serious. “Anyway, you two clearly have a knack for helping people, so thanks for pitching in.” The sunny Senju said, his very obvious optimism shining through.

He glanced over the debris-strewn streets, stepping aside as Kureji used chakra strings to lift broken planks and chunks of stone. “So, Kota, is it? Good to meet you. I’m Akio!” He offered a warm grin, though his eyes were drawn to the subtle changes in Kureji’s appearance and chakra signature. “Whoa, that's a new one...” He said aloud, talking to himself, then hearing a sound come from nearby.

Before Kureji could answer, Akio moved to a collapsed doorway where two survivors called for help, not waiting for continued conversation before acting to assist the victims. Placing both hands on the ground, he channeled some remaining Natural Energy into a quick Wood jutsu. Vines and roots wove beneath the rubble, carefully lifting the beams just enough to free the trapped civilians. “Hurry, this way!” he said, stretching out a hand to guide them to relative safety. A few of the braver civilians who stayed when the others left hurried to assist, and Akio wove the handseals of medical jutsus, layering them onto those who bore injuries as the crawled free from the wreckage.

Satisfied that the immediate danger was handled, Akio turned his attention back to Kureji. He squinted a bit, noticing fresh striations forming on the rocker’s skin, as if something in his chakra was still shifting. “You sure you’re okay? Whatever’s happening, it feels like your chakra signature is... changing,” he said, the concern evident in his voice. “Is that some kind of shinobi technique, or... do you need help?”

Akio gently cradled his own injured hand, trying to ignore the stinging ache. In the distance, Shun and the doctor were already heading out, and more Leaf reinforcements were moving in. It seemed they had prevented complete disaster, though a portion of the city still lay in ruins. At least they were doing what they could.

Kureji shrugged as the boy commented about his contract summon and said, "Blowing myself up is a common theme. Really rejuvenates my thoughts and the landscape." The last time he blew himself up, he tried to impress a girl as she had asked him to destroy some old forgotten ruins underneath Wind Country's desert. Unfortunately, he didn't land with the girl but that hasn't stopped him from living the life he wants.

Onto the topic of helping people, Kureji made the comment, "I ain't got no problem helping civs. But helping ninja is if I like or respect the person enough. Nao got my respect, that's why I decided to help out." He would pause to listen to what Akio had to say, "What's a new one?"

But before the boy could give an answer, he decided to help more civs, so Kureji focused his own part to help the non-chakra people, clearing debris and directing them to Aya for her to heal until the place was cleared of survivors. He turned his attnetion back to.... What was his name again? Sandy hair started talking again, "Oh that? It happens every now and then. Not really something I can control, just happens randomly. Musta reactivated when my own chakra mixed in with that gas leak explosion. Anyways, civs are clear, so I'm outty." He gave the peace sign and walked off

Akio released a slow breath as he watched Kureji give a casual peace sign and stroll away from the broken ruins of Crater City. The man's confidence was something else, even if he did have a habit of playing with explosions like they were party favors. Akio found a faint grin forming on his lips. Maybe it was the relief that they had made it out alive. Maybe it was the fact that, for all his over-the-top unconventionality, Kureji had helped rescue countless civilians today.

The Senju teen crouched to pat one of the surviving planks of debris, willing a final pulse of Wood chakra through the ground. Vines wriggled aside the last few splinters, revealing a small pocket of empty space. No more injured, thank goodness. That was all he could manage for now. His entire body ached, especially his injured hand, but the adrenaline in his veins refused to let him collapse yet. There could still be more survivors somewhere else. He exhaled, letting the rest of his chakra settle.

A few more young medics from the village arrived at the scene, and Akio directed them wordlessly toward the battered perimeter. They began organizing an impromptu triage area, freeing him to linger near the collapsed buildings and scan for any final signs of life. Then he realized the fires had nearly been extinguished, most of the wounded were either patched up or already on their way to the Leaf hospital with Shun and the others.

He glanced in the direction of Kureji’s departure, catching one last glimpse of the rocker’s changing silhouette against the crimson sky. The man’s offhand explanation about his mutating chakra had left a knot of curiosity in Akio’s mind, but Kureji was clearly finished talking. Part of Akio wanted to chase after him, but something told him the free-spirited musician would only share so much. “Guess that’s that,” Akio said quietly to himself, finally slumping against a stable piece of rubble. His Sage Mode was gone, his Natural Energy drained to the point he'd need to recover, and the unusual green marks on his face had faded back into their usual subdued red lines. Now it was just him and the faint throbbing in his injured wrist. Crater City still smoldered, but for the first time in hours, it was calm enough that he could hear birds overhead.

When a young girl with a healing bandage on her arm approached him timidly, Akio mustered a reassuring smile. “I’ll take you over to the med station,” he said with his characteristic smile, hauling himself upright. He had done what he came to do: protect lives, shield them from the catastrophe, and help wherever possible. Although the future of Crater City would be uncertain, especially with the conflict to come, Akio felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that they'd helped some of its people survive to rebuild.
