Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Shinobi 101 - Ninjutsu (Slashing Taijutsu with Ninjutsu Accuracy)
Summoner: A Creation's HP and CP are +5% Higher. The user may now have two different Creation Jutsu active at once; however, the second Creation Jutsu will be treated as Rank 1.
Initiative: The user is capable of prioritizing 1 AP worth of actions per round which are modded as 0 AP but all costs are paid as normal.
Conservative Motion: Jutsu effects that would increase Chakra Costs are negated. All Effects that have a chance of causing the user's action to fail are halved and all AP increasing effects are negated.
Clarity: The user is given a resistance check every round against Genjutsu as opposed to the normal round wait time. The user is always aware that they are in a Genjutsu unless the Genjutsu was treated as a Sneak Attack.
Concentrated Focus: The user's binds have a -5% chance of being escaped from and binds which break upon the user losing a portion of their Max HP or CP are now increased to 20% Max HP/CP.
Elementalist: The user may now use a Major Affinity Move and a Minor Affinity move upon a single Jutsu (Up to B Rank) Both affinity moves must be different, and the user must have a Major Affinity in the Element.
Duelist: always use this in a 1 v 1
Healing Factor: Regain 3% max HP every round
Strategist -- Nara You need to list your strat slots in your stats. You can use this for a free basic strike, place some poison on it, a sad version of quickdraw, to affix an E-note to something, etc.
Class: +5% Ninjutsu Damage
Shadow Bend: May convert Fire and Water Jutsu into Shadow at no extra cost. +15% Shadow Damage.
Shadow Tactics: +10% Damage, +1 Accuracy while in shade. While maintaining a bind or resting, they gain +3% HP/CP per round.

Holy Embodiment: All Dark jutsu do 50% damage to them. User is immune to fear effects and intimidation effects. Suppression or other AP reduction or attack disrupting effects have only half their normal chance of working on them. Consider defining your allies.
Sacred Style: User gains +1 Accuracy and +1 Critical range with their chosen weapon. For the duration of this style, the weapon is able to cut through half of any damage reduction. All CP costs are increased by 15% while active.
Divinity Aura: Grants an additional +1 Accuracy. If the special effect Aura is used and the next Taijutsu Attack is used by the chosen weapon, the attack cuts through all Damage Reduction.
Clarity Strike: Able to convert one Ninjutsu into a single-target non-elemental attack at +20% damage for an extra +20% chakra. This attack is considered 'light' element and cuts through half of all Ninjutsu damage reduction.
Spiritual Chakra x2: +10% damage to all Ninjutsu. This damage counts as 'Light' element and cuts through half of Ninjutsu damage reduction. This bonus applies to all other Spiritualist light chakra techniques as well.
Armor of Thorns: Damage to the user is reduced by -10%. Additionally, melee contact with the user have a 24% chance of activating the 'Thorn' effect.[/spoilername]

"So you know me too, interesting. I would love to chat more about it--"

Number Six commented. Bet he would. Just like all of the other lost children from never-never land. In the end, what was he? He was just another one of Nao's... well you know mistakes. The way he was talking, it was as if Six had no fucking clue what Shouki was talking about. He didn't did he? Oh fuck me, this is just delightful. "What a riot you are Number Six, don't you ever lose that sense humor." Yeah, now he was just taunting the unfortunate, potentially former Soverign. What was he? Fuck if he would just give that sort of information away, that had to be earned. "Unless you really did forget me... I mean... I thought we had something special. I thought I was the only one for you."<i></i> Shouki was at his very core an unrepentant asshole. "In fact, there was this thing. Do you remember the thing?" He was screwing with Roku, hopefully but the look in his eyes seemed to suggest otherwise. Maybe there was a THING. What sort of THING?

He was going to do or say something to Roku when--

Lightning struck the ground nearby. What a dramatic entrance. Showdowns against the villain always had one of these moments, that moment were the 'bad guy' a.k.a. him is pummeling some of the heroes before the narrative calls on the story's main protagonist. There were rules for this sort of thing, but as Shouki turned his seemingly lazy gaze in the direction of the source he was not disappointed. The stranger even donned a costume. This was the sort of moment that filled out his pants. He was not one for latex, sometimes leather but there was something about METAL that just got him all hot and bothered. "Haha!" Shouki laughed, "finally someone willing to play my game!" Yes, the madman saw this as entertainment, recreation even. He derived a sick, often sexual pleasure from the pains he inflicted or received.

"Ishii Shouki. You are the son of the Wind Daimyo Ishii Shiro and leader of his Sovereign special forces. You and yours killed my father."

This. Is. Fucking. Awesome.

His eyes lit up and a wide, thin smile eclipsed his face. This was like Christmas morning for an only child. He had no idea who this metallic weirdo was, but this was the highlight of his day. "Vengeance through violence," his prayers have been answered. Finally he was going to feel something, because something was better than nothing at all. This vengeance-driven crusader gave him hope, hope that he might be able to back-up his dramatic proclamation.

"My name is Sunahoshi Katsuo. I am the first and only son of the last Sunahoshi Kazekage."

"Oh my god, stop right there" Shouki complained "it is super-hard to fight with an erection." He did not know anything about dear old dad's murder or if he was responsible but he sure as hell knew what a 'Sunahoshi' was. Fucking Jashin, this was getting ridiculous. "Are you just telling m what i want to hear at this point or are you my Unicorn, Katsuo?"<i></i> He heard that the Sunahoshi family died out a generation ago. Well, it should be to nobody's surprise that the bookkeeping in the desert sucks. Still, he was going to go with the whole murderer shtick -- no need to deny the man his sense of 'justice' before he died. It was not like Shouki was a monster! Who was he kidding, he was not going to kill this one. Not today at least. After-all, look at all of the 'friends' he has to defend and save. Most of them have unnecessary parts. Parts he could return to the metal-man one by one.

"Justice is finally at hand for you."

"Please, there is no such thing as too little foreplay. The more the merrier. And I though you were a man with big appetites, thus I called this merry band to gang on you."

"You're not wrong. I can hardly wait, this is turning out to be the best first date I ever had Sennin Senju." Shouki quipped. They would exchange a series of attacks, most of the shinobis were playing defensively. A puff of smoke. A log to punch. A log that blew up in his face. Then the damages would recoil back at his attackers and their allies. Jashin is a good god to his faithful and devout followers. "You know the most interesting men."<i></i>

His chakra had been disabled, just for a moment as he placed that dig. He staggered but never left the circle but it did not matter, without the fortification of his chakra the bloodstained earth was afforded no protection. In a single smashing blow, the ground where his seal was placed was decimated. Clever, but that would not be enough to assure victory. He had already tasted their blood and it was a matter of time before they were broken.

He came running with fury in his heart and violence in his six split soul. Two facets of Kuro's wrath finally came within reach of the Jashinist child of the Daimyo, memories pulled forth power that broken seals no longer could. The explosions and the people buried alive or crushed after he had already abused his powers with tensei jutsu only to lose so many people yet again to misguided soldiers of fortune twisted or turned into instruments of hatred. Hatred begot hatred, sorrow begot sorrow but this was one cycle that Kuro would reinforce as Song Kuro the assassin and Summoner Kuro the Byakko enhanced close combat specialist with a reinforced leg set forth to unleash hell upon Shouki. First they would equip the weapons necessary to strike with pinpoint accuracy and without mercy. Second they would enter stances that honed in their unique skillsets and allowed for defense and offense with a rare and unique combination of nintaijutsu. Song Kuro was focusing soundwaves into a specialized chakra enhancement... a sense of treble that felt like a song pulsed outwards from the Hashigaki based Kuro its affects would inspire those it was focused upon to battle. The eerie sense of heightened capacity would fill the area in respect to Kazuki, Roku Katsuo, Sousuke, and his Summons. After initiating his sonic talents Song Kuro would advance upon Shouki with martial talents all the while seeking to aid his fellow sunans Song Kuro would enhance their healing and agility as long as they accepted his assistance. Summoner Kuro would flank Shouki to protect Kazuki and Sousuke with an altered Jyuuken stance that allowed for kicks, not just palm strikes. Battle with a sandwyrm and loss of a limb had forced Kuro to expand his capacities yet again. This would not bode well for Shouki at all, for the "Soulripper" had come for Shouki's head.

[col]Shouki mocked Katsuo's declaration and that was just fine by him. Every word that Ishii Shiro's vile spawn uttered was just more fuel on the fire of Katsuo's determination to defeat him. The battle resumed in earnest and the three united shinobi of Sunagakure dove into the fray against Shouki once more. Even Katsuo had to admit that despite his monstrosity Shouki was an impressive fighter. He didn't attempt to evade blows so much as simply take them and minimize the harm that was inflicted upon his own body but it wasn't until the wounds started appearing on his body mysteriously that Katsuo understood what was really going on with Shouki's tactics.

The Daimyo's son was far from the first person that Katsuo had ever faced which practiced the teachings of Jashinism and blood curses and he would not be the last. Diving in for a feint, Katsuo threw a his right fist forward and as he did the image of a screaming wolf with it's fangs bared appeared and rushed forward past Shouki harmlessly before Katsuo danced forward and with a small jump to improve the weight of his punch attempted to land a strike across Shouki's crown only for the Jashinist to move his head at the last moment and let the punch sail past him and into the ground beneath his feet which had been Katsuo's true goal-- to get close enough to see the ground where Shouki was standing. Confirming his suspicions, Katsuo found the dark blood seal etched into the ground at Shouki's feet where his fist had landed after the missed punch. The seal pulsed with chakra and resisted destruction by way of Katsuo's attack where normally the ground would have been split from the force of the punch but Katsuo would not have the opportunity for a second attempt as Shouki quickly brought his tremendous sword around to bear and blasted Katsuo from his feet with a powerful swipe, sending him spinning through the air to land a few feet away.

The suit had done some containing of the damage from the strike but Katsuo knew that Shouki's sword had bit deeply into him and that he was bleeding now. It was the power of the Spark that kept his blood pumping through his veins rather than gushing out the front of him through the gash that Shouki had created.

There was a number of ways to deal with a Jashinist but he lacked any other real options for now. Generally speaking Katsuo's playbook at this point against a blood magician would have been to withdraw and come back more prepared but at this point he couldn't just abandon the field and leave Sunagakure's other defenders on their own and that was to say nothing of letting Shouki go. Angry blood thundered through Katsuo's veins as he crouched low and brought his hands together, pooling his crackling magnetic chakra there for a moment before disappearing in a flicker of motion.

"You know the most interesting men!" Shouki exclaimed towards Kazuki, thrilled with the battle that was surrounding him as he lashed out at both Roku and Kazuki with that giant blade of his and failed to find purchase on either of them with his attack just as Katsuo appeared in front of him, still crouched low with a condensed wave of his chakra pressed into his hands that burned brightly like a miniature star.

"I'm glad you're amused!" He shouted before thrusting the wave of energy forward, engulfing Shouki in a beam of crackling power that sliced through Shouki's body and into his very spirit, tearing away a chunk of his chakra in the process but most importantly disrupting his concentration on the infernal seal that they were both now standing on.

As Shouki staggered backwards from the blast, Katsuo pulled back his arm and thrust his fist downwards at the ground with great haste sending his steel-wrapped knuckles through the space where Shouki had profaned the ground with his blood magic and destroying the seal that created the connection between him and whatever dark force he called upon to make use of his powers. Pulling his fist from the ground with a jerk of his arm as superheated rock and soil fell away from it, Katsuo fixed his visored stare on his opponent. This was their window to attack.

He'll have about eight seconds from now before he recovers from that attack and is able to put another one of those damn seals down. Gotta make the most of it.

Responding to his desire to go on the offensive, the suit around his body released a gust of energy as it took the energy it had stored up from his previous movements and dumped it back into Katsuo's system. Like a shot of adrenaline the energy moved through his limbs and made him feel light as a feather. Clearly there was a laundry list of questions to be asked about what this suit could really do when he next talked to Fuurika but at the time Katsuo didn't bother to question the rush that hit his body. Pushing off from where he'd been crouched, Katsuo closed the distance between himself and Shouki and re-engaged the battle between them.

Sousuke would finally get into the Grass Land biome. A large slippery fist would be seen punching into the side of the biome as a giant toad with a blue and white coned hat would emerge That would be Gambunta. The fist hit first and created an entrance for Sousuke to get in. Gambunta for the time being was stuck outside and would need to be summoned again, but this time inside the biome. Sousuke as much as he wanted to have given the toad his vengeance would need to-- no. Gambunta would not forgive him for this. Gamunta had agreed to help Sousuke not because he truly wanted to. It was because he was hurt by Shouki, he was tortured. Sousuke would do the necessary. He would form the hand seals and would port Gambunta from the outside part of the biome to the inside of the biome. Gambunta would need a moment to relocate.

"Shouki. I Am Coming For You. I Am Going To Kill You Permanently This Time."<i></i> The giant toad would disappear from the outside and remerge now inside the biome. Sousuke would begin to analyze the situation. Shouki might get overly happy about his arrival. That was something Sousuke did not want to have occur. He would make a motion and press his fingers against a portion of his chest plate. He would be activating an illusion from here. He was hoping that his stealth tech was going to be good enough to let him be hidden from Shouki. He needed time to observe Shouki and figure out what he had done to himself. Shouki was not a simple maniac. He was a man with a plan, and what was there to gain from pulling all of them out? Something did not feel right about this.

At least with Gambunta making a commotion, Shouki might lose focus on him. That was a 25% chance of happening, but it was something worth trying at the very least. Katuso was present, Kazuki was present, Kuro was present, and finally there was Roku. Kuro would lose himself emotionally in all of this, and that was something he could do nothing about. All the same Kuro begged him to bring him to the next time he fought Shouki, and that he did.

An internal shrug would go off as his eyes would narrow in on the leader of the Sovereign Corps.

"And that's the way you crumble, Cookie. Thank you for your help."

He would dismiss the rock golem who had jumped in front of him to take an attack from Shouki. The beast was only ever intended for that purpose, but still he wasn't completely callous to just dismiss the creature without some thanks. It may not have been truly alive but it was still a creation from him. Semi-dad moment.

If this was intention it is unknown but it would have been wise considering he was able to recast his Divine Judgement in the later parts of the round.
  • Let me know if I missed anything, it is really hard to keep track of this many people with this many summons, paths, clones and creations in use.

"I'm glad you're amused!"

Katsuo screamed before he released a powerful and unexpected blast that sent Shouki staggering back. His nerves on edge, his hand would involuntarily convulse release a spark of his vile energy. He would not realize it at first. He would not notice this strange and hollow sense as more 'heroes' came to the Sennin's aide. It was turning into a party. And like any good party it would not be over until someone was sent to the hospital or someone was knocked up. With his seal blemished, Shouki could feel the radiant face of Jashin turn away. The rejection. The shame. It hurt. IT FINALLY HURT. The pain shuddered through his body, like a deep ache that gripped his bones. "Y-you... y-you green-headed freak are my unicorn!" Shouki exclaimed with a maddened cackle, his face contorted into something perverse and ugly.

The Sennin was calling on more 'friends' or should he call them puppets. Five knows his way around a good thrall but so didn't he. What was the Sennin's now belonged to him. The resurrected menial would stop, if he could feel pain it would have been intense. Could the dead feel pain? It would be a waste and a shame if they could not.

A massive, broken toad was summoned. Shouki knew the toad well, "Gamey" Shouki announced as if he was greeting an old friend. "Should I rip out your intestines and use them as restraints before... or after I let your 'master' taste his own blade?" He gave up that ring, he did not want that toad any longer. He abandoned that shitty thing, after awhile the sounds of his tortured cries were just repetative. After all of his effort to keep things fresh, something anyone in a good relationship did -- it was always the same thing. 'Please no.' 'Stop.' 'I cannot take it anymore.' 'Oh God you broke my leg!' If he wanted a narrator or a priest he would find one and torture them.

"Shouki. I Am Coming For You. I Am Going To Kill You Permanently This Time."

"Suuuure you will buddy," the sarcasm seemed to drip from his words. They were close, intimate even. After all he was inside him for such a long... long time. It was the greatest day... week... month... Fuck if he knew how long he was in there but it was fucking awesome. Still, he was not going in there again, he had work to do or pops would be pissed. There was not much that the Diamyo could do, he could put the General through hell but that would be just divine. Still he was compliant, not because he was a consequential but because the outcome would be awesomesauce. "How about we work on keeping your owner alive for now before you think you have a chance of winning," Shouki scoffed.

The shinobis concentrated their might and their barrage of attacks for the most part met Shouki's ready and willing flesh. It burnt and it crushed. It cut and it stung. The pain was near orgasmic. his eyes rolled back a bit as the gates of Babylon ripped through him. He bit his lower lip when that rasengan was unleashed. They were getting so much better. This was going to be so much more fun. This is why he hated killing ninjas, they always came back with a vengeance. This sweet deliverance from his mediocrity was making his efforts worthwhile.

"Yeah, yeah. We all heard that tale, in fact I was in Kumogakure when it reached my years. You and Roku went for a stroll together, holding hands and all. When Roku farted and you were blown away, almost getting decapitated in the process. You enjoyed it so much, you practically pissed your pants. It is old news, at least tells us something fresh."</B><i></i>

Kazuki quipped. Insults were really not Kazuki's forte were they? Ha!

He was going to speak nothing of the fact that he admitted to having erectile dysfunction, that was a disappointment even Shouki was too civil as to ridicule... Wait, we are talking about SHOUKI here. There was no fucking chance that he was going to let this one pass him by. "By Jashin's phallus, I love it when you talk dirty!" Yes, he did notice that Kazuki played the sister card. He really did not care about the brat. Summoner Kuro noted that Shouki had somehow gotten his blood during the melee, which meant Shouki was a far more skilled Jashinist than he had ever faced before. Still the plan was the same eliminate their seals debilitate their bodies. Decapitate after seal is removed. Rinse and repeat, this would be no different. Song Kuro had dropped his fight stance and looked perturbed for a moment before reassessing and focusing fully on the situation. Song Kuro decided he would reacquire his weapon later.

Everyone appeared to be still standing despite the Jashinist seals that were present so Summoner Kuro prepared himself to finish Shouki off. Song Kuro would initiate the assault with ninjutsu first. Once the Jashinist was under the effects of their ninjutsu Summoner Kuro would move in to finish Shouki off up close and personal.

" Kazuki, if you can assist me in disrupting his control my bunshin will use Lightning Assault 1. Roku I don’t know your skillset but if you can back me and Kazuki up we are going to concentrate on disrupting his seals so that you and the armored warrior over there can take him down. I am going to use Lightning to attempt to disrupt his internal control. If you have anything that breaks concentration and control now is the time. After his blood seal fails I am going to remove his head and have a heart to heart with his father." Summoner Kuro would speak with Kazuki and Roku and let them know what he was planning to do Kazuki having seen Kuro train many times would know what Lightning Assault 1 was despite them not having established teamwork Kuro had been open with the Senju Clan about his training and battle habits.

Kazuki would also know that this meant Kuro was going to summon his sealed demonic statue. Kuro did not recognize Katsuo and was only vaguely aware that Sousuke was nearby. Song Kuro maintained his song to make sure that their health remained despite their opponents rebound capabilities.

Song Kuro would initiate the attack and Summoner Kuro would follow up with specialized taijutsu.

    An advancement to the lightning jutsu known as Chidori, enabling the user to shape the blade of lightning into different forms of their choice. Because of the diversity, this allows the user to adapt the jutsu to their situation.

    Special Action - Chidori Spear: Shapes Chidori into a long blade of lightning. This enlarged version has a 28%/36% chance of activating the 'Impale' effect. This uses either melee or ranged accuracy.

    Special Action - Chidori Current: Releases Chidori in an electrical discharge around the user, even along the ground. This reduces the base damage to 80%, though strikes up to three targets. This has a 28%/36% chance of inflicting the 'Paralysis' and 'Electrocution' effects.

    Special Action - Chidori Senbon: Disperses Chidori into countless needles of Lightning. This causes 5 hits each dealing damage equal to 15% of the base damage at +3 Accuracy. These checks may be split among multiple targets, and each have a 7%/9% chance to activate the 'Disruption' effect, but it only may activate twice per target. This uses Ninjutsu accuracy for Song Kuro. </U><i></i>

  • Demonic Statue of the Outer Path - A-Rank Ninjutsu
    A Forbidden Summoning technique that draws forth a massive stone creature into the area, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. This Statue takes the form of a blindfolded and shackled, giant feline demon, and protrudes from the ground in such a way that only its torso and arms are visible above the ground. This statue has the unique ability to emit a dark aura throughout the area, lowering the will of those within to fight. Even more dreadful, however, is this statues ability to literally suck the life out of any deemed opponents by the Rinnegan user. The statue constantly emits Dragon-like waves of energy that seek out any source of chakra, and forcibly extract bits and portions of the victim's soul, storing them within this statue. The user, with their legendary chakra, is able to directly absorb this stored energy for their own use. Additionally, this outer path statue is capable of instead turning its harmful energy directly into a rejuvenating life force that heals the Rinnegan user and all their various paths so long as they remain nearby.

    Rank 2: Summons a Large Statue that releases a dark aura that may affect up to three separate targets. The affected suffer -3 Dodge and have a 10% Chance to be Auto-hit by all actions aimed at them, and a 10% chance to Auto-miss all techniques they use. Every round, the statue attempts to absorb 2340 Chakra from those within the area. Statue has 7560 Hp, and the user has +3 to all checks.

    Note:
    - This may be used by any path.
    - Chakra Absorption cannot be buffed.
    - The Rikudo Sennin gains chakra equal to 50% of the Chakra Absorbed. The remaining 50% is used to heal the Statue of any Damage.

      A Technique able to be performed only by the Hyuuga, the Hyuuga performs this technique by gathering chakra into their fists. The Hyuuga then gracefully spins towards their target to strike them in their chest, sending a burst of chakra into them in the shape of Spectral lion heads around their fists. The sudden jolt of chakra impacting upon the Target's center line is often enough to stun their reflexes and cause most opponents to flinch.

      Rank 3: The Hyuuga spins, striking their opponent and dealing 1,110 Damage at +3 Accuracy. This has a 70% chance to cause -1 Accuracy/Dodge.

      • Combo attack with Eight Trigrams Tenketsu Strikes
        - Chakra Circulatory Assault
        The most famous technique of the Hyuuga and their signature skill, these strikes are Somewhat of an offensive/defensive move that sends an electromagnetic blast of chakra outwards to damage and push back enemies. With each strike, the Hyuuga targets tiny chakra points in the target's body, and with each precise strike seals more and more of the victim's chakra. The Hyuuga are able to tap these tiny targets with such precision that the target may not even now what hit them should they not be on the top of their game, and end up with their chakra sealed.


        Rank 3: The user Strikes eight times, starting with 30 Physical Damage, 0.25% Chakra Damage, this amount is doubled for each successful attack.

        Cost: 1.5 AP, 80 Chakra * 8 attacks (so 160 for the second strike 240 for the third so on and so on)

        Notes:
        - Partial hits are treated as full hits.
        - The user cannot attack points which have already been sealed.
        - Chakra damage reduces the victim's Max Cp for the remainder of the battle.

This invisible technique appears as the user simply stopping an incoming attack, and reversing it back to the attacker (Or harming a melee attacker from the reversal of force).

      Rank 1: Allows the user to Redirect up to Level B jutsu. Redirected attacks have a 28% chance of gaining the 'Psionic' effect.
      Rank 2: Allows the user to Redirect up to Level A jutsu. Redirected attacks have a 36% chance of gaining the 'Psionic' effect.

      Cost: Ap of the redirected attack +.5, Cp of the redirected attack +40%.

      Notes:
      - This jutsu is used reflexively, and does not require handseals.
      - This may only be used every other round. Cannot be done in the same round as Reflection.
      - This does not work on any Level S jutsu. This does not effect Genjutsu.
      - When used, this causes the attack to make a check against the user's Ninjutsu Accuracy instead of evasion. The user cannot dodge if they fail this check. This check applies for the whole jutsu if Multi-hit/AoE.
      - The redirected attack retains all buffs that it was used with, and additionally receives any Kinesis buffs the user may have up to +25%. This does not allow it to surpass the Buff cap.
      - The user is able to choose any target on the field for Redirected attacks to be aimed at.
      - The 'Psionic' effect treats this jutsu as a sneak attack. If already a sneak attack, this prevents the attack from being auto-dodged or revealing the user to others.

[col]Shouki's dark blessing was inoperative and his seal destroyed leaving him wide open. While the other shinobi taunted him and he barked responses at them, Katsuo was more concerned with actually winning the fight. Did any of them realize how much danger they were really in? A Jashinist was no small foe on their own and this one had an aura that would have been the envy of a demons that Katsuo had fought in the past.

Darting forward with the wind rushing around the contours of his armored head and body, Katsuo closed the distance with Shouki and threw his right fist forward twisting with energized air that stopped just short of actually being dangerous as the burst of air rushed past Shouki and Katsuo disappeared from sight only to reappear off to Shouki's left as his armored fist slammed into Shouki's jawline with a wet crunch. Still, he wasn't done. Shouki only had a heartbeat of time before Katsuo was on him again with another chakra-laden punch which he narrowly avoided... only for the second strike to find purchase in his gut before Katsuo retreated from the immediate combat space to avoid a barrage of incoming ninjutsu techniques from their allies and prepare his own next attack. Storm and earth swirled around his body as Katsuo channeled the natural electrical current running through his body through the suit he was wearing before slamming his fists together in a shockwave of storm chakra that tore the grass and earth around his feet into the air where it hovered momentarily due to the magnetic currents coursing around him.

With a blur of motion, Katsuo was upon the stunned Shouki again with forearms crackling-- each blow landed resounded through the training grounds like that of a thunder strike. One, two, three, four and then five blows and the energy he'd gathered was spent and he was forced to retreat once more lest he be caught in an explosion caused by one of Kazuki's fire ninjutsu techniques that detonated the space around Shouki into an intense conflagration that filled the immediate space with smoke and burning embers. Waiting to see if it was done at last, Katsuo doubled over as his body recoiled in pain from some unseen source... and Katsuo knew it wasn't over. Worse than that, Shouki had managed to get his blood seal back down just before Kazuki's attack had hit him. Earth and smoke cleared slowly and as it did Shouki stepped forth from the debris with an honest to gods smile on his face, laughing as he did... and What sort of monster was he? After the punishment he'd just taken any other man would have been flat on the ground. Certainly any of the other shinobi here would have been-- Katsuo included. Shouki was far more dangerous than he'd accounted for and had to be stopped for good.

The cloaking device worked for as long as it needed to. The Kazekage got what he needed. Data. Sousuke would think for a moment. He began to play actions in his mind as his allies proceeded to do their work. Shouki was already hurting, bit that is what he wanted. Giving Shouki what he wanted was dangerous. Unlike Kazuki, Sousuke did not give in and would do what he could. Sousuke stood with his hands held together in a praying fashion of sorts. His eyes would open up and he would begin to act.

First. Attack him mentally. Remove from him his glory. Deny it. Make him realize his god was not really a god. The Kazekage was very much not happy having to deal with Shouki. Perhaps there was some delight in denying him the pleasure he so badly desired. He did it once. Hopefully he would be able to do it again. Denying Shouki caused him to get very angry. He didn't like it when he could feel nothing. 'Standing dead' Mikaboshi once called it. Yes. Shouki was delighted in phsyical pain, but he did not enjoy mental pain.

Second. Become the greatest heretic known to Jashinist. Should the mental assault not take place, Sousuke would go toe to toe with Shouki. Shouki would find himself on the other side of the Kazekage's antlers. The antlers on the helmet were not only show, they had an actual use. Leave the Kazekage long enough with an object and he would make a weapon of it. "This is for all those who died at your hands Shouki. For all those who I had to cremate. I knew all their names. I kept count of all of them."<i></i> He spoke in what seemed to be a whisper. He remembered the structure he made from their bodies. That disgusting vile 'artistic' display. He never forgave or forgot it. Shouki was in part why he put aside his relationship with Yume. He did not want her to be part of this. There was something very dark and terrible that Sousuke had in his mind. What would he do to Shouki, if he had truly defeated him and had his body simply there.

Sousuke would draw both of his blades. Shouki was known to be quite durable, and quite a problem about that. The Kazekage would begin to multiple from all angles and would then strike and descend upon Shouki with a storm of swords and a wildfire of sword strokes. Shouki was something that had to be endured. His very presence was a disease. He was one of the cancer tumors that was in Wind Country. He had to be surgically sliced out and removed. Shouki was malignant. He was a cancer unto Naganisa. Sousuke did not have romantic feelings for her, but he knew her story. Shouki was a cancer unto Susumu. Sousuke would have liked for Susumu to have been anyone else but a brother and a relation for the Daimyo and his brother. This cancer was going to be sundered and delivered unto oblivion.

Sousuke was not an emotional person, but Shouki was able to cause him to react emotionally. It was what made Shouki so dangerous. To give pause to logic, and to breed hatred in its purest of forms. The hatred given birth was so... very raw and scalding. If it was ever known how much Sousuke despised and hated Shouki, if given form it would be something horrifying and unnatural. This world could have been a better place if Fuu had never given birth and had aborted the life that grew within her all those so many years ago which would grow to become Shouki.

Sousuke was not alone in this. Gambunta looked to Sousuke when Shouki spoke of protecting him. Gambunta did not consider Sousuke under his protection. The little man had done well to prove humans were capable of coming in all shapes and sizes. Sousuke had done many things for him, and not once did he ever thank the little man for it. He didn't need to. Sousuke was only a tool. A method for his revenge against Shouki. "Your Death Will Come. Every One Has A Time. Yours Has Been Past Due."<i></i> Gambunta would glare down at the insignificant one. Shouki's death would come. "Death Comes On A Pale Horse."<i></i>

Suddenly he was attacked by the weird person Kazuki had summoned. It never ceased to amaze him the amount of friendly fire he had accumulated over the course of all of his recent fights. It was almost like these assholes were asking for him to snap. Almost. But he had high hopes that he would be able to take a piece out of Kazuki's ass, or at least he assumed it was Kazuki's work. The guy seemed to have a thing with making bodies appear and seemed to already have the command of a bunch of animated corpses. So if they all survived this, he would get back at his Sennin colleague.

After getting stunted by the weirdo from Kazuki's association, he would once more begin to feel a surge of pain rush through his being. It would seem that the curse that Shouki was able to use was once more in play.

Well this is beyond frustrating... so what did Katsuo do again to mess this fucker up...

If there was someone watching the fight from the sidelines, he, or she, was up for a spectacle of grand proportions. Technique after technique was thrown at Shouki. The damage the guy endured was monstrous. Any normal human being would have been knocked out, if not outright killed. But the bastard, not only survived, he also scribed another blood seal. Midway through, the Ranger Lord began feeling pain whenever the general was being hit by a jutsu. But Kazuki was not the sole man feeling it, everyone in the field experienced pain. Shouki had, somehow, managed to acquire blood samples from each of them. It was urgent to disrupt his seal again, otherwise, they were royally screwed.

”Kazuki, if you can assist me in disrupting his control my bushin will use Lightning Assault 1. Roku I don’t know your skillset but if you can back me and Kazuki up we are going to concentrate on disrupting his seals so that you and the armored warrior over there can take him down. I am going to use Lightning to attempt to disrupt his internal control. If you have anything that breaks his concentration and control now is the time. After his blood seal fails I am going to remove his head and have a heart to heart with his father.” Kuro would announce. Kazuki simply nodded in return. He was growing tired of going back and forth with Shouki. It was becoming a pointless banter because the bastard son of the Wind Daimyo did not get distracted by it. His battle prowess had not been affected at all. A beast he was and a beast he remained. The White Wolf understood very well what the Toraono Warlord wanted to do. He had seen the armored man using lighting to destroy the Jashin’s blood seal, with great success. It was logical to assume repeating it would achieve the same level of efficiency. Even if the General of the Sovereign was prepared to evade a few attacks, he could not evade all of them if the entire group concentrated on him and his wretched seal.

Assuming they were successful yet again, it would be a simple matter of unleash another relentless barrage of attacks and gun him down. However, as a Jashinist, he had the uncanny ability to stave off death even in face of the most horrendous injuries. Damaging him was a simple enough task, to end his was something different altogether.

Yes, it would appear that Kazuki's endurance was on par with his own from his perspective due to the dark renewal from his forbidden power-set and to Shouki it was nothing short of dam impressive. In a one v one match Kazuki had Shouki at a stalemate, Shouki's damages were creeping in still but for the most part the damages sustained and reflected were left at manageable levels that his dark invitation was able to partially negate but no more... the damages being inflicted and then shared far exceeded his recovery gains. Something that Shouki would have to take note of the next time that they battle. Yes, there would be a next time. Such a durable, crass playmate was the general's type. <B>"You're fun," a wide-eyed smiling maniac would announce as the searing darkness took from him once again. Kazuki seemed to be nearly brand spanking new, even after all of this.

" Kazuki, if you can assist me in disrupting his control my bunshin will use Lightning Assault 1. Roku I don’t know your skillset but if you can back me and Kazuki up we are going to concentrate on disrupting his seals so that you and the armored warrior over there can take him down. I am going to use Lightning to attempt to disrupt his internal control. If you have anything that breaks concentration and control now is the time. After his blood seal fails I am going to remove his head and have a heart to heart with his father."

Did he just announce his plan?

Yes, he fucking did.

That was almost insulting. Almost. "Dude, I am right here"

Six was not standing down. His hands ran through a series of handseals, a real savant ninjutsuist in the making. Admittedly he was quicker than most despite his bulky physique. His fist ensconced in an arching, blue current of pure electrical energy he thrust the palm of his hand into Shouki's gut. The pain, while not intense, the electricity was numbing. It was strange and he did not fucking like it. "I am not just some kid anymore, Six," Shouki taunted. Indeed, Shouki was actually quite young when compared to his peers. The Cabal's attack was what... ten or more years ago and he was in his late teens at the time. "And you're getting old. You know what they say Six... you cannot teach an old dog new tricks!" Did Shouki know any secrets about Roku's forgotten and deeply obscured youth -- yes, but only fragments. And Shouki was distracted.

Something was disrupted. It was only the blood thrall, not Shouki's Divine Judgement. A trio of combatants would rush Shouki's circle, slamming their hammers, blades and fists against the accursed seal that gave Shouki so much power. The seal would not break, the sands beneath and around it would spray and the earth would quiver from the force of their intent but would not fall to their power. It was not Jashin's Divine Judgement that had faltered but rather his hold over Kazuki's corpses. The blood thralls would start to crumble, leaving only bones on the grassy knoll. A gust of wind would blow away the dusty bones.

The battle plan was simple, down the healer. The healer of course was Song Kuro, the focus of the Jashinist's brutal assaults. Shouki heaved his massive blade from over his shoulder and charged the demon-Sennin with all his might and vigor as plans were being made to disrupt his lord's judgement and destroy his seal again. A frenzy of bladed attacks would cut into the Toraono, slicing through flesh and in some places grazing bone. There was a sick brutality in the way that Shouki moved and attacked. Blood would splatter and spray, refreshing the sadist and speckling his face and attire as the warm blood felt like a bath.

"This is for all those who died at your hands Shouki. For all those who I had to cremate. I knew all their names. I kept count of all of them."

Sousuke whispered dramatically as he cast something. "Names?" Shouki scoffed. "You barely knew them," he challenged. They were Sunans, surely but beyond a sense of ownership... yes he was calling it that. He knew nothing of them. In fact, Shouki felt he likely knew them better, he spent time with them. each of them. He made sure that it hurt when they died. Whatever that something was, it made him feel nothing. He recognized this jutsu. He was not a practitioner of wimp fighting, also known to most laymen as 'genjutsu' but he remembered how it afflicted him before. "Weak tricks do not work more than once on me," shouki claimed with a glimmer in his eye. He remembered Delayed Agony and he knew how to put an end to hit. "Lord!" Shouki's eyes cast skyward as he made his prayer. "Allow your divine intervention to intercede on these weak heathens. Let me feel pain Master! Lord, hear my prayer!"

And Jashin heard these words prayed upon him and bestowed a blessing, the blessing of anguish upon his loyal follower. He was free from the hell of numbness once more. "Praise be!" His thanks to the murder god.

His Lord still favored the brutal and the bold. Kazuki would try once again to do what Six had failed. Lightning wreathed the black Sennin's hand as he thrust it against, or nearly so, Shouki's breast before the monster ducked out of the way. "Learning?" There was a tone of mirth in his voice, had he been going too easy or been too obvious this whole time? They were targeting his ability to maintain his terrible jutsus.

Sousuke did not understand the core tenants of Jashinsm. Pain or not, as long as he maintained his divine link that seal would remain. So when Sousuke attacked the blood seal, the dark maroon markings would be steadfast against the Kazekage's assault.

Six was a meathead at heart, that was something for Shouki to remember as the freak assaulted him with a barrage of punches. Most made their mark. The dull pain repeated over and over again. "...Harder," Shouki taunted as he tried to reflect his damages. Oddly enough what came back onto those tethered to the madman Jashinist were no worse than the pains the General had suffered himself. Not that he would know that. Not that he particularly cared, this pain... this glorious torment was divine! "Again!" he demanded, his voice cracking from excitement.

Gamabunta sprayed a torrent of water at Shouki that cleaned away the lovely blood and battered his formerly bruised and bloodied frame. How could such a dirty man be so clean? He rushed the healer and Six with a wild attack where he turned his weapon only its side and swung it around hard in a massive arcing motion to knock the duo back, endangering himself in the process. The reckless move would only partially pay off as his trick weapon attack hit Toraono but in the blink of an eye Six disappeared from view. It was the Hachimon Body Flicker, something Roku had used in Shouki's presence before. While he was a genius in his own right, he was not a quick learner but he had an eye for fights. He scoffed at Roku's missed oppertunity. "I won't regret this," he announced. "Giving lessons to Nao's favorite," he continued. "He gave you all this power and you have no fucking idea how to use it... priceless" he let out a laugh. "Not even a punch." [Rank 1 bro] There was a bubbling jealousy just beneath the surface of Shouki's sarcastic expression. "What a waste on a traitor like you." There that accusation was again. Traitor. shouki's physical torment came out in a wave once again, afflicting those cursed.

Yes Kazuki had learned. He did not cease even after multiple failures. His hands completed a complex array that Shouki vaguely recognized, it was a powerful lightning technique that gathered a mass of charged particles in the palms of the Kazuki's hands. With cupped palms aimed at the Soverign, Kazuki released a hot white bright beam of electricity. The column of energy seemed a tad phallic to Shouki and for all of his crude statements he considered himself 'straight but occasionally curious.' He rushed to avoid Kazuki's penetration but failed to do so. The searing bolt of lightning coursed through him, attempting to overpower his nervous system which contracted painfully. He tensed his body and stood his ground. In time, all good things would pass and glory to Jashin this did too. But now it was their turn. Their blood united them and like a wave of torment what he experienced and then some would branch out and attempt to grab hold of his playmates.

It would be the healer that finally broke Shouki's link with his God. Sennin Toraono would launch a barrage of lightning attacks at the former Cabalist. Some would hit their mark and his hands would go numb, his mind would become fuzzy. He would blink too long. and then he felt it, this sense of profound, mournful loss. He was not going to admit the painful sense of rejection he felt when Jashin's glory turned away from him once again. No, this was a loss he would be able to endure. A self-depreciating chortle would rumble in Shouki's throat as he started to make plans to again enter Jashin's glory.

Six was going to continue to fight. would give him one thing, he was dedicated to getting himself and his friends killed at this rate. Another pair of attacks would pound Shouki, rattling him to the core. It felt good, but he was the only one enjoying this. The others... well, they were starting to look a little less than fine. What he suffered, they would also.

It would seem that their attacks shifted, they foregone the assaults against his ability to maintain his God's judgement. This gave him time. Time to perform the ceremony again before his seal was broken. With heavy breaths he watched as Kazuki summoned a swirling vortex of shadow and relinquished his hold over the dangerous swirling bubble of harm. Shouki lifted his arms and braced for impact, his pains would not be as dire as theirs. In a wave, his torment became theirs. Sousuke was also a reckless madman, assaulting Shouki with Perdition's Blade and all the while the dangerous assaults would be reflected back at him and his allies worse than anything Sousuke could have done himself.

It would have been the green-haired unknown's attack that would finally bring Shouki to his knees. Well, nearly. All of his attempts to disable the Jashinist's link with his God were for naught, but this powerful assault drained the color from his face. For a moment he felt nauseated and unsteady. This was a first. At least the first time in a long time he felt this way. Woozy that is. "Give me the strength to endure," the devout madman prayed. The Lord would again hear and answer his prayer. Yes, there were Gods in this world and Jashin was one of them. He had a little more time.

A final, dangerous barrage would center on Shouki from Roku. Even with everything they could dish out he was still standing, albeit barely but his faith in his blood god would soon come to fruition. This was the battle he had always sought. The blows landed and Sennin Toraono fell over. Well... both Sennin Toraono paths fell. One down. The undying warrior, however still had some time left.

A question came up about the FORCED KILL OPTION.
If combat ends due to one side being KO'd then the 'winning' players each can choose one of the following:
  • Kill the opponents. Doing this takes a full round per kill and you are treated as still being in combat at the beginning of the next round should people be joining the combat. (The Action of killing through roleplay takes 1 full round to accomplish. If anyone attempts to stop at anypoint the 'kill' is nullified)

Kuro's avatars fell as one since they actually were, it seemed Shouki figured out all too easily who was healing everyone that he could. Having taken down Jashinists before had made Kuro overconfident that his methods for hunting one would come to fruition. Shouki had turned out to be the strongest Jashinist that Kuro had ever faced. Still even as he fell from suffering the wounds Shouki gave and the wounds received by Shouki he smiled as he noticed before the blackness of unconsciousness struck that Kazuki and Sousuke were still standing. Which meant he had at the very least done his job and protected his brothers as best he could. Upset that his jutsu had failed to stop Shouki's attack was an understatement but then again the winds of fate and probability had never been the kindest of ladies to him. Still the thought remained if he could just stand up once more, but that would require a form that was guarding Suna elsewhere and he dare not bring his Kyojin form into battle as he had a tendency to enjoy his ogre form a bit too much.

[col]The group once more laid into Shouki but the plan went awry as the attempts to disconnect Shouki from the dark power that was fueling his blood curse failed to find purchase early into the next stage of the fray causing a great deal of the attacks launched by the forces of Sunagakure to get mirrored back at them. Blood bubbled up from Katsuo's throat as the blood curse tore at his body from both the inside and outside at the same time. It was a feeling that he was well acquainted with but the sensation of being wracked by a curse was something that one could never truly come to grips with. By it's very nature the experience was one of woefully unnatural origin and as such shuddered him to the core as it bite deeply into him.

Focusing his eyes through a wave of vertigo that slammed into him like a speeding truck, Katsuo managed to hold his footing and stay upright but he wasn't certain how long he could keep up consciousness through the Jashinist's unrelenting curse. Judging from the way that Shouki seemed to discard his taunting in favor of shouting beseeching statements to his god implied to Katsuo that their opponent was in a similar state. He certainly looked the part. Dripping blood and injury as he was it was nothing short of a miracle for him that Shouki was still conscious much less standing and continuing to fight.

"Get it together guys, this is the last push. Either he goes down or we do." Katsuo announced, his eyes fixing on the blood seal that had caused them so much grief. He wasn't sure if Shouki's connection to the seal was still on-going but he had to hope that somehow during the barrage of electrical attacks and disrupting blasts that they'd deluged him with in the last few moments that one of them had managed to sever that connection. Was that why Shouki was shouting to his god? Had Jashin temporarily turned from him? If that was the case, this was their opening. They had to push through it with everything they had or else they wouldn't have a prayer of standing victorious.

Katsuo wasn't one for a barrage of taunts. Focused on the fight as he was, the mask of his helmet stayed silent as he shifted his footing and re-engaged with a burst of movement that sent clumps of dirt and stone into the air around him as he flickered from sight.

Each attack, from either his own doing or those aiding in the effort to take down Shouki and the more pain he himself would feel. It was almost unfair. Everything he trying to do would backfire, missing his attempt at a singular genjutsu and then attacking the seal but failing to do the appropriate steps beforehand. It was like he had offended the gods of fate and they were dead set on making his life miserable at every opportunity that they could find. In the final moments of the exchange the Sennin Kuro and his twin would come crashing to the ground. It would seem that either himself or Kazuki, both who had just exchanged attacks with Shouki, may have been the culprits for officially taking down their colleague.

Not as satisfying this way... will need to revisit knocking him on his ass in my more direct way in the future.

His eyes would glance towards the remaining members of the party. He could feel his body was on its last legs. His stamina was probably depleted and molding chakra almost felt like he was scraping the bottom of his metaphorical barrel. He did not have enough gas in his take to go on a healing spree and if he did, he would be immediately targeted and eliminated, leaving his work for naught. So there was only one thing this man that was accused of being a meathead could think to do; be a meathead.

In a low voice Sousuke begin naming names. Each and every single name of the individuals. "Hyuuga Tomoko. Hashigaki Raijin. Inuzuka Sato and Nail."<i></i> Sousuke knew them because he worked with them. Shouki may have had their final moments and found out who they were at their worst moment, but that was something the Kazekage would not want of anyone ... perhaps save Shouki and his father. Sousuke's head would go forward in an attempt to butt heads with Shouki's, the antlers on the helmet crackled once more with electricity. Still Sousuke continued with the names, "Akamichi Kazu. Haku Nori."<i></i> Perhaps it was a testament. Sousuke did work with the ANBU on several smaller engagements because he was a man who tried to work things out on the ground level.

Shouki's supposed prayers were heard but he was still attacked again and again. What reprieve he had was taken away and the man was left standing but he seemed to be at odds. Shouki was calling out to his lord. "Jashin is no god, perhaps an Ancient."<i></i> Sousuke spoke as he began to target Shouki mentally. He had several more tools in the metaphorical belt to use. Shouki was about to deal with them. The Jashinist was able to disable his primary method of dealing with him, but it was time to do some science. How fast was the speed of death?

Katuso had made a rallying call. Sousuke continued to support the uncrowned King in what ways he could. He was going to make that final push in a series of sword strokes. He was going to electrocute and burn Shouki with the weapons that put an end to the terror in Inferno. The same weapons that killed a Jashinist who served the Daimyo and was part of the slave trade. Sousuke would go full out.
Gambunta growled. Shouki had dealt a major blow to him. The Toad would further his gaze and focus it again on the little man. Shouki would not stand and like Katuso had said, this was the final go. The toad swung his head back and perpared to fire another blast of water at Shouki. He would survive this. He would see Shouki dismembered. He would see him dead. Eternally this time. Gambuna listened to Sousuke as he still continued to name names. "The Lordling Named All Those Who Fell By Your Blade. He Knew Them. He Knew Them All. I Will Not Weep For Your End. I Look Too Forward In The Future To It, Even If I Am Not Here For It."<i></i>
