Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

[col]Shouki mocked Katsuo's declaration and that was just fine by him. Every word that Ishii Shiro's vile spawn uttered was just more fuel on the fire of Katsuo's determination to defeat him. The battle resumed in earnest and the three united shinobi of Sunagakure dove into the fray against Shouki once more. Even Katsuo had to admit that despite his monstrosity Shouki was an impressive fighter. He didn't attempt to evade blows so much as simply take them and minimize the harm that was inflicted upon his own body but it wasn't until the wounds started appearing on his body mysteriously that Katsuo understood what was really going on with Shouki's tactics.
The Daimyo's son was far from the first person that Katsuo had ever faced which practiced the teachings of Jashinism and blood curses and he would not be the last. Diving in for a feint, Katsuo threw a his right fist forward and as he did the image of a screaming wolf with it's fangs bared appeared and rushed forward past Shouki harmlessly before Katsuo danced forward and with a small jump to improve the weight of his punch attempted to land a strike across Shouki's crown only for the Jashinist to move his head at the last moment and let the punch sail past him and into the ground beneath his feet which had been Katsuo's true goal-- to get close enough to see the ground where Shouki was standing. Confirming his suspicions, Katsuo found the dark blood seal etched into the ground at Shouki's feet where his fist had landed after the missed punch. The seal pulsed with chakra and resisted destruction by way of Katsuo's attack where normally the ground would have been split from the force of the punch but Katsuo would not have the opportunity for a second attempt as Shouki quickly brought his tremendous sword around to bear and blasted Katsuo from his feet with a powerful swipe, sending him spinning through the air to land a few feet away.
The suit had done some containing of the damage from the strike but Katsuo knew that Shouki's sword had bit deeply into him and that he was bleeding now. It was the power of the Spark that kept his blood pumping through his veins rather than gushing out the front of him through the gash that Shouki had created.
[BGM]There was a number of ways to deal with a Jashinist but he lacked any other real options for now. Generally speaking Katsuo's playbook at this point against a blood magician would have been to withdraw and come back more prepared but at this point he couldn't just abandon the field and leave Sunagakure's other defenders on their own and that was to say nothing of letting Shouki go. Angry blood thundered through Katsuo's veins as he crouched low and brought his hands together, pooling his crackling magnetic chakra there for a moment before disappearing in a flicker of motion.
"You know the most interesting men!" Shouki exclaimed towards Kazuki, thrilled with the battle that was surrounding him as he lashed out at both Roku and Kazuki with that giant blade of his and failed to find purchase on either of them with his attack just as Katsuo appeared in front of him, still crouched low with a condensed wave of his chakra pressed into his hands that burned brightly like a miniature star.
"I'm glad you're amused!" He shouted before thrusting the wave of energy forward, engulfing Shouki in a beam of crackling power that sliced through Shouki's body and into his very spirit, tearing away a chunk of his chakra in the process but most importantly disrupting his concentration on the infernal seal that they were both now standing on.
As Shouki staggered backwards from the blast, Katsuo pulled back his arm and thrust his fist downwards at the ground with great haste sending his steel-wrapped knuckles through the space where Shouki had profaned the ground with his blood magic and destroying the seal that created the connection between him and whatever dark force he called upon to make use of his powers. Pulling his fist from the ground with a jerk of his arm as superheated rock and soil fell away from it, Katsuo fixed his visored stare on his opponent. This was their window to attack.
He'll have about eight seconds from now before he recovers from that attack and is able to put another one of those damn seals down. Gotta make the most of it.
Responding to his desire to go on the offensive, the suit around his body released a gust of energy as it took the energy it had stored up from his previous movements and dumped it back into Katsuo's system. Like a shot of adrenaline the energy moved through his limbs and made him feel light as a feather. Clearly there was a laundry list of questions to be asked about what this suit could really do when he next talked to Fuurika but at the time Katsuo didn't bother to question the rush that hit his body. Episode 13: 'HUMBLE'| Madman Arc said:[col]It seemed that his sneakiness was not rewarded, the gods of chance and luck did not smile on him today. Fortunately, they did smile on someone else that was aiding him. While he did not notice it before, Shouki was standing upon a seal that Katsuo seemed to stagger him upon before finally crushing the earth the seal was placed upon. Shouki's expression did not seem to shake, but it would appear that there was something very important about that tactic, to not mention he did not feel the sting of the attack Katsuo had landed on Shouki moments before breaking the seal.
Mental note, check. Soooooo, does that mean I just hit him again and he takes it, like how the gods intended fighting to be!?
An internal shrug would go off as his eyes would narrow in on the leader of the Sovereign Corps.
"And that's the way you crumble, Cookie. Thank you for your help."
He would dismiss the rock golem who had jumped in front of him to take an attack from Shouki. The beast was only ever intended for that purpose, but still he wasn't completely callous to just dismiss the creature without some thanks. It may not have been truly alive but it was still a creation from him. Semi-dad moment.

[col]Shouki's dark blessing was inoperative and his seal destroyed leaving him wide open. While the other shinobi taunted him and he barked responses at them, Katsuo was more concerned with actually winning the fight. Did any of them realize how much danger they were really in? A Jashinist was no small foe on their own and this one had an aura that would have been the envy of a demons that Katsuo had fought in the past.
Darting forward with the wind rushing around the contours of his armored head and body, Katsuo closed the distance with Shouki and threw his right fist forward twisting with energized air that stopped just short of actually being dangerous as the burst of air rushed past Shouki and Katsuo disappeared from sight only to reappear off to Shouki's left as his armored fist slammed into Shouki's jawline with a wet crunch. Still, he wasn't done. Shouki only had a heartbeat of time before Katsuo was on him again with another chakra-laden punch which he narrowly avoided... only for the second strike to find purchase in his gut before Katsuo retreated from the immediate combat space to avoid a barrage of incoming ninjutsu techniques from their allies and prepare his own next attack. Storm and earth swirled around his body as Katsuo channeled the natural electrical current running through his body through the suit he was wearing before slamming his fists together in a shockwave of storm chakra that tore the grass and earth around his feet into the air where it hovered momentarily due to the magnetic currents coursing around him.
With a blur of motion, Katsuo was upon the stunned Shouki again with forearms crackling-- each blow landed resounded through the training grounds like that of a thunder strike. One, two, three, four and then five blows and the energy he'd gathered was spent and he was forced to retreat once more lest he be caught in an explosion caused by one of Kazuki's fire ninjutsu techniques that detonated the space around Shouki into an intense conflagration that filled the immediate space with smoke and burning embers. Waiting to see if it was done at last, Katsuo doubled over as his body recoiled in pain from some unseen source... and Katsuo knew it wasn't over. Worse than that, Shouki had managed to get his blood seal back down just before Kazuki's attack had hit him. Earth and smoke cleared slowly and as it did Shouki stepped forth from the debris with an honest to gods smile on his face, laughing as he did... and What sort of monster was he? After the punishment he'd just taken any other man would have been flat on the ground. Certainly any of the other shinobi here would have been-- Katsuo included. Shouki was far more dangerous than he'd accounted for and had to be stopped for good.

Episode 14: 'Either Really Good (Or Really Bad)'| Madman Arc said:[col]His attacks all seemed to connect in the beginning, which was a nice feeling and since he did not feel any blow back on his own body it would seem that Katsuo's tactic was legitimate. He wasn't sure how long this blessing would last, but it was nice to just hit somebody for a change. There was plenty of talking going on and for a change he wasn't one of the ones doing the majority of it. He appreciated his quiet moments after all.
The fuck...
Suddenly he was attacked by the weird person Kazuki had summoned. It never ceased to amaze him the amount of friendly fire he had accumulated over the course of all of his recent fights. It was almost like these assholes were asking for him to snap. Almost. But he had high hopes that he would be able to take a piece out of Kazuki's ass, or at least he assumed it was Kazuki's work. The guy seemed to have a thing with making bodies appear and seemed to already have the command of a bunch of animated corpses. So if they all survived this, he would get back at his Sennin colleague.
After getting stunted by the weirdo from Kazuki's association, he would once more begin to feel a surge of pain rush through his being. It would seem that the curse that Shouki was able to use was once more in play.
Well this is beyond frustrating... so what did Katsuo do again to mess this fucker up...

[col]The group once more laid into Shouki but the plan went awry as the attempts to disconnect Shouki from the dark power that was fueling his blood curse failed to find purchase early into the next stage of the fray causing a great deal of the attacks launched by the forces of Sunagakure to get mirrored back at them. Blood bubbled up from Katsuo's throat as the blood curse tore at his body from both the inside and outside at the same time. It was a feeling that he was well acquainted with but the sensation of being wracked by a curse was something that one could never truly come to grips with. By it's very nature the experience was one of woefully unnatural origin and as such shuddered him to the core as it bite deeply into him.
Focusing his eyes through a wave of vertigo that slammed into him like a speeding truck, Katsuo managed to hold his footing and stay upright but he wasn't certain how long he could keep up consciousness through the Jashinist's unrelenting curse. Judging from the way that Shouki seemed to discard his taunting in favor of shouting beseeching statements to his god implied to Katsuo that their opponent was in a similar state. He certainly looked the part. Dripping blood and injury as he was it was nothing short of a miracle for him that Shouki was still conscious much less standing and continuing to fight.
"Get it together guys, this is the last push. Either he goes down or we do." Katsuo announced, his eyes fixing on the blood seal that had caused them so much grief. He wasn't sure if Shouki's connection to the seal was still on-going but he had to hope that somehow during the barrage of electrical attacks and disrupting blasts that they'd deluged him with in the last few moments that one of them had managed to sever that connection. Was that why Shouki was shouting to his god? Had Jashin temporarily turned from him? If that was the case, this was their opening. They had to push through it with everything they had or else they wouldn't have a prayer of standing victorious.
Katsuo wasn't one for a barrage of taunts. Episode 15: 'Final Seconds'| Madman Arc said:[col]More dodging and more feeling an internal pain resonates through his body. Each attack, from either his own doing or those aiding in the effort to take down Shouki and the more pain he himself would feel. It was almost unfair. Everything he trying to do would backfire, missing his attempt at a singular genjutsu and then attacking the seal but failing to do the appropriate steps beforehand. It was like he had offended the gods of fate and they were dead set on making his life miserable at every opportunity that they could find. In the final moments of the exchange the Sennin Kuro and his twin would come crashing to the ground. It would seem that either himself or Kazuki, both who had just exchanged attacks with Shouki, may have been the culprits for officially taking down their colleague.
Not as satisfying this way... will need to revisit knocking him on his ass in my more direct way in the future.
His eyes would glance towards the remaining members of the party. He could feel his body was on its last legs. His stamina was probably depleted and molding chakra almost felt like he was scraping the bottom of his metaphorical barrel. He did not have enough gas in his take to go on a healing spree and if he did, he would be immediately targeted and eliminated, leaving his work for naught. So there was only one thing this man that was accused of being a meathead could think to do; be a meathead.
