“Oh? Did she..?” the young Hyuuga spoke up in surprise as he had just woken up from his bed. His father had entered in a hurry, holding up a piece of paper with a request from a familiar, elder woman who lived up in the highest lands of Kumo. “Yes, it’s a bit odd… but I guess that she’d grown a liking to you,” his father assumed with a smile, “You must’ve been a great help to her last time..!” Flattered by the compliment, Honnou blushed a little and dove in under his sheets to lash out, wearing his usual, greenish jacket and sand-colored pants and everything that he needed to execute this new treasure hunt; she had lost something once again, so his Dōjutsu would prove to be useful once again!
“W-Woah, wo-woah…” he let out in caution as he climbed up the wall again. She hadn’t considered moving at all, had she? It was rather amazing to think that such an old lady was living up here all by herself, no husband or son to aid or help her with her life, and she wasn’t starving at all! Last time that he was there, she didn’t appear to have a farm or any cattle to provide her with food and drinks, so how was she doing it? Once again, his thoughts were tempting him to further find out the secrets of this lady, but he had to focus lest he would fall down to his death. Obviously, focus was severely needed in times like these, and he had no space to think too much about the situation… maybe if he taught himself to act without thinking, then so many problems would be solved.
“Ah, it’s you again..!” the elder lady greeted along with a hug to the little boy, “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” Honnou had just helped her yesterday, but he also heard once in the past that elders experience time as going so slow, so extremely slow, that they could count the wingbeats of a hummingbird. Maybe she had it the same way? “So… what did you lose this time?” the Hyuuga asked. The elder lady stepped back with her cane and replied: “Can you see my door over there?”
… He couldn’t exactly see it, and that said enough. She had lost her door, hadn’t she? Looking back at her peaceful face, it appeared to be the way. He sighed for a second, before he activated his Byakugan again, relying way too much on it as he even got that on mind. Then again, it was efficient, and he wanted to ensure the best results… and his eyes even got to notice the door’s location all the way in the distance.
It was a bit weird to find her door all the way here, and it looked as if someone hid it here for later. That left more thoughts on the boy’s mind, but alas, his mission was done, and he was going back to bolt the door shut again so that none would try and break it off again.
