Although they moved as a group, almost like a pack, most of the time since they have left their country, the twins decided to split off from the others for the time being. Seeing those people with friends and families and every day people they knew by looking alone made something well up in the two that made them want to forge ahead back to Mist. There was some trouble with members of both Shoukyou and Isaki clans staying around too, not having gone with them to the mass exodus. They wanted to check up on them, make sure they were still alive and well, keeping into account every single clan member, and ask if they wanted to return to their families or split off. Some would probably choose to stay behind, the others would come with them seeing as some weren’t even in the village when the clans left, mostly Shinobi and Kunoichi who had been on active duty at the time and had yet to return. For one, they knew a few of their cousins left behind like Sakusha and Hisoka… Tomiko had pointed that his younger brother was probably hiding from debt collectors and couldn’t make it the first time.
They weren’t leaving ahead because they felt their brother’s anger towards the Isaki, oh no. Okay, maybe that was a small factor in the decision. But, nonetheless, it was a risk they were willing to take so that they could finish their personal business without slowing down the others. It was easy enough to procure a smaller water vessel for them, faster than the one they had use to arrive here. Hopefully, Tatsuya and Hoshikata won’t be too cross at their disappearance, with only a message left behind to be said by their colleagues from the Psyche Department.
