Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Situated deep underground and inaccessible to the general populace, the Sileo Tempestas is an ancient array of natural as well as man-made caverns and chambers, all linked together by a Byzantine network of passages often constructed out of necessity rather than according to a unified plan. It is rumored to have been the main excavation site of a long-forgotten mining operation, as its very walls are made of the same dense substance as the Dragon Tooth Pass itself. This was where the ANBU conducted their business and this was where Midori was supposed to be meeting with the Sennin of the ANBU. It wasn't exactly a scheduled visit but Midori did want to discuss things with the person in charge of running the ANBU. After all, there was a sub-branch in the medical field that did do missions jointly with the Anbu but now that she thought about it she could extend the harvesters to the Anbu as well.

Midori accompanied by her spider Bathory had been escorted by a guard to one of the disguised elevators that had been hidden at a top-secret location. The masked stranger waited for the elevator to arrive, stepping out of Midori's way then gestured for her to get inside. Bathory crawled in first to check the weight capacity to make sure it was safe for Midori to ride in if she was able to squeeze herself inside of the cramped space. Once Bathory confirmed it was safe, she crawled back out then stood on her two back legs. "Alright it's safe! These surprising things carry a lot for it to be so tiny." joked the spider but now they looked at each other gravely, trying to figure out how to get into the elevator. Midori sighing would then duck her head into the small metal box then moved in from her side, squeezing into the elevator and curled herself into a tucked sitting position. Hugging her knees to her chest looking like a little girl in one of those small food elevators, the spider tucking in some of Midori's dress into the elevator and pushing Midori a little to move inside a bit more since a bit of her flab was going to keep the elevator from closing.

After Midori was in, Bathory would then crawl in through a little opening where Midori's lap was then stood on the plus sized vampire knees. Midori looked over at the Anbu who couldn't fit inside of the elevator, so she kindly asked the masked person. ""My apologies, my friend. Vould vu be so kind enough to tell me vat floor I must go to; zo I may go zere vizout a escort." Midori asked the masked person who would then turn to watch out in case they were being watched and just put up two fingers to avoid saying it out loud. The Sennin would then press the button to the second floor and then the doors slowly closed…

On one of the surveillance cameras in the elevator, the person behind the monitor would only be able to see a close up of Midori's cheek, lips, and her dress that seemingly took up a good majority of the elevator along with a massive spider that was making little artistic web designs. When they arrived, Bathory got out first then quickly moved to give Midori some space. Midori would then try to move out of the elevator legs first, wiggling out making the elevator shake as she moved and plopped big self down and she somehow managed to get herself out of the cramped elevator with no help. Standing to her carefully rose letting her upper back touch the ceiling, once the Sennin was ready she would then follow her spider through the long hallways while trying hard to keep herself from hitting her head. As the medical sennin moved through the well protected dark complex, Bathory found the door to the office of the Anbu Sennin. Clearing her throat, she bent down to one knee then knocked on the office door three times since she didn't want to be rude… especially since she was big enough to cover the whole threshold with her body alone even when she was crouched which to some people might be a little intimidating. "Good day to vu zennin! Zis is Midori, Zennin of zee metical branch. May I enter your office freely? I haffe a lot to discuss vith vu madam." she yelled through the other side of the door in her odd accent.

Sat comfortably behind a monitor an ANBU operative watched the multiple screens for any suspicious activity. A bushy brow rose into the air at the sight of a large… unusually large woman attempting to fit into a cramped elevator. Being escorted by a fellow ANBU operative removed her from the suspicious persons list but that didn’t shake the uncertainty off their shoulders. Pressed against the camera lens was nothing more than a mash up lips and cheek bones, and the tiniest glimpse of another large figure… ‘The hell is thaaaaa?!’ Taking notice of the equally large spider weaving its web into a picture of its face.

A finger rose to his headset, radioing the ANBU Sennin. “A large woman? And a spider? You guys just let them through? Said they were the Medical Sennin? Alright.” “What was that about?” A silver gloved hand pushed back rebellious strands of gold hair behind her ear. It was none other than Mirō’s summon, Naibu. Her silver cat's eyes were found resting on Mirō’s shoulder. “The Medical Sennin is on her way to us. Good thing too, I’ve never met them but have a few things I’d like to talk to them about. Primarily-” Her train of thought was cut off by a few knocks on her door. ‘It must be them.’ What stood out to her already was the peculiar accent the Medical Sennin had. The dialect was hard to understand swiftly but it was easier to stomach compared to the lot of brigands and pirates down at the docks whose broken Japanese sounded like they had a mouthful of marbles when they spoke.

Mirō pushed her chair back from her desk with her body and rose to answer the door. Upon opening the door Mirō jumped back in shock. Red hues glanced up at the massive woman who had to literally kneel to show her face to her. Unable to stop her eyes from drifting her dress left very little to be hidden. Aside from the fact that everything about her was large in proportion it left very little to the imagination. Red hues drifted to Midori’s set, then Mirō’s head fell to examine her own. ‘Life sure is unfair but I think I’m blessed.’ Behind her Mirō could her Naibu’s jaw drop at the site of Midori. Mirō backed up away from her blindspot to view her face properly. Clearing her throat, “Hello Midori. Please come in.” Mirō gestured a hand for Midori to step past her and into her office with high ceilings that Midori would be thankful for.

Once she moved past Mirō again nearly jumped out of her skin. At that sudden movement Naibu quickly rose from her chair next to the desk ready to draw her claymore from her back. “What the hell is that!” Her body leaned to the left to peer past Midori to look at the equally massive spider that happily followed Midori in tow. “Easy Naibu!” Mirō called back before Naibu did anything drastic. Red hues examined the spider and at quick glance its friendly face posed no immediate threat to her or anyone within the office. Mirō continued to gesture them in, “No need to be afraid.” ‘I hope.’

“It’s nice to meet you Midori. I’ve heard about a newly appointed medical sennin from the Raikage but I’ve been too busy to properly meet you. I hope you can understand.”
Once they moved into her office the door shut behind them. Mirō began to walk back to her desk, but before she did she noticed how small her chairs were compared to Midori. Without missing a beat her left arm began to peel off her torso into multiple sheets of paper. Like mitosis they split further and further before molding itself into a chair with a big enough seat to accommodate Midori’s own big seat.

“Please, have a seat. I can guarantee its sturdiness.” Mirō smiled before returning back to her desk. “I’m Mirō, the Sennin of the ANBU branch. You wanted to discuss a few things with me?” Introducing herself before she sat down, red hues glanced back at Naibu who still seemed unsure of the medical sennins presence. ‘Naibu. Relax.’ Mirō ordered telepathically. Her attention returned back to Midori. Her eyes getting a full view of large breasts. Blinking quickly, Mirō was used to facing people directly, never having to really look up so drastically before. “I have a few things to discuss as well.”

Midori when she was invited inside of the office sat there crouched, when the door was opened the sennin couldn’t see the young ANBU sennin properly given that a little bit of the doorway and that Miro was a little closer than even she realized given that all she could see was a empty desk and Naibu who looked to be stunned by the sight of the massive vampire since Midori was peeking from underneath the top of the doorway with one golden eye. Miro’s view on the other hand was a bit more awkward than the medical sennin even realized, to put it into words the anbu opened the door to a pair of breasts that if her bra size existed it would be 102 triple Z. Her body itself was as wide as three large bodybuilders if they were standing side to side along with a little extra padding given that Midori was chunky, making it impossible for her to enter doorways normally so she always has to enter from her side so your could imagine that Miro was unable to see much of anything behind Midori. The medical sennin finally getting a proper view of the young anbu sennin, Midori was thankful that she didn’t just enter the room because trampling over the anbu sennin may have put a little damper onto things. "Mvahahahahahaha~ Stealthy nincha are vu? Didn't effen zee vu in front of me zere." laughed Midori as she tilted her head down and then entered the chambers through her side, squeezing into the tiny doorway with surprisingly great ease though once she entered the office the giantess did have to pull up her dress in the front to show a little less cleavage and making just a small adjustment to her hat; hunched since the room a little smaller but truth be told it was around the same height as her own office.

When Midori entered, stepping out from behind the medical sennin was her white spider who looked around the room in amazement. Unfortunately, Naibu quickly reached for something since Bathory did make a quick dash inside of the room since her legs made her move just a bit faster so seeing a giant spider just crawling out of nowhere would scare anyone. Bathory quickly turned when she head some yelling, scratching the top of her head with her front legs wondering if she did something but then realized that spiders aren’t really that popular when it comes to the public. Raising her front right leg like it was a hand she kindly declared. ”Yeah, I’m an innocent little spider! I’m harmless!” said the spider attempting to seem less threatening by acting cute and innocent.

"She speaks zee truth, vu may loozen your guard for my spider vill not attack zo carelessly. My azziztant Bathory knovs betder und visches only to aid myzelf und zee beople of zis peaudiful land." Midori said calmly, her spider looking at the two then quickly nodded her head in agreement. As the shock of the two seemingly wore off, the environment seemed a bit more hospitable. The ANBU Sennin welcomed them, even apologising for not having met sooner which made the vampire chuckle. Miro even made a chair for the medical sennin to be comfortable in which was nice considering the fact that most normal chairs would break and that she would have to sit very carefully in certain seats so they didn’t give out. "Vhy zank vu, my friend." Midori said as she sat down, smiling at the fact that she didn’t need to be as careful with this seat as the others. Looking down at the young ABNU, Midori also had a little trouble with seeing Miro’s face while at least trying to look over her breast to see Miro while the anbu sennin herself had a little trouble seeing over the large mounds. Needless to say if they knew what was going on in each others heads right now, this meeting would be a little more awkward given the fact that Midori was trying to look over her blindspot while Miro was trying to do the same though probably more awkward for Miro since the views from a shorter person's eyes is just a bit different. "Firstly, allow me to introtuce myzelf broperly. I am Midori, zee new metical zennin of zis land und I visch to speak to vu apout vorking jointly vith my branch more directly.” Midori explains, going into her purse to pull out a few documents on the subdivision called The Sentou Henkan. ”Currently, zee zub-diffizion zeems a little… one zided vith my medical ninchas gaining combat training from your people but I vant to offer zome medical training to zee people of your branch. Namely to giffe vu more auzority for doing zings more discreetly like for examble; proper body disbozal, poizon crafting, orkan harveztinh, interrokazion und a lot more zat my branch could be able to helb vu vith. I pelieve zat vith a little more infolffement between our branches– ve can vork on bettering each ozer skillsvize.” Midori paused, giving the Anbu the document to read to show the sub branches that they currently have in place along with brief descriptions on which ones that she thought that they would be of use in. Of course, these were the current ones but Midori would provide more information on what they had now so they could better the sub-division but wanted to show the young sennin all the divisions in case they saw something that would fit into their branch somehow.

:~Divisions~:
There are two categories for medic operations: Hospital (inter-village work) and Field (outer-village work). Hospital work is more of the day to day stuff usually done within the hospital. These divisions are research, surgery, and general practice. There are Leaders in charge of the outer-village work, however, the Hospital operations report directly to their respective Heads. Field work is more mission based in nature. The field divisions are as follows:

The Sentou Henkan
The Youritsu
The Harvesters
The Field Divisions
The joint squad with ANBU. The Sentou Henkan receive extra combat training so that when missions come up where the ANBU require medical support the medical branch have mednin who can carry out the tasks without issue. These shinobi are the best combatants the medical branch can produce, however they are still only shinobi and are generally only as skilled as the better skilled main branch shinobi, untrained in the covert operations that make the ANBU the fearsome group they are. However this group are combat proven, so can be more dangerous in their own way due to their life saving medical capablities.
This is a unit by which all Mednin, regardless of rank, will be part of. The Youritsu is the body of mednin who have limited specialties and focus more on medical practices than specialized missions. It is from this group that squads which require a medical shinobi are likely to get a shinobi from. In this way, the medical branch is able to help in tough missions and also test the members of the Youritsu to see if they should receive further training to possibly move to another one of the other squads.

This group are a last resort squad. When a squad are sent out on a mission which is almost suicide, no matter the branch on the mission, it will likely include a Harvester. These shinobi are ones who must be able to distance themselves from their comrades, they must be able to kill and remove any village secrets from the body and retrieve them if possible, or incinerate them if required. If a mission requires the gathering of material from a currently living shinobi of another village then this is also when the Harvesters come in. All members of the Harvesters are surgeons of the highest calibre, almost all can perform any type of surgery.

Research Division

General Practice Division

Surgery Division

The Hospital Divisions

These medical shinobi focus less on traditional medical practices and more on discovering the 'whys' of the universe. From discovering what happens to a cell at the molecular level to breakthroughs in medical technology, these shinobi are fountains of vast (and sometimes morally questionable) scientific knowledge.

General Practice is the largest division in the hospital. Controlled directly by the Sennin, this is the division that handles most matters relating both the civilian and military population within the village. Many MiT being their training in this division before given the opportunity to participate in Youritsu related missions even though they are assigned to both divisions upon their entry into the hospital.

As the name suggests, this division is responsible for any major surgeries that should occur within the hospital. While there are field divisions that require mednin to know some surgical knowledge, their skills with the scalpel pale in comparison to the shinobi stationed here. As there are different kinds of surgery, there are different head surgeons. These positions can be held by specialists and other Medical Chiefs who report to one general Head of Surgery.

Pleased to hear formalities of the current Medical Sennin one thing was different about her. Beside the obvious, her accent stuck out more than her body. For a moment Mirō pondered the origins of Midori’s birthplace. A country without the need for the letter W… Then how did they sky rocket to Medical Sennin. To think a foreigner would uphold the medical duties of Kumogakure medical administration sat uncomfortably in her stomach. What counteracted this assumption was the current discussion of how both branches would interact with one and another.

“Discreetly like for examble; proper body disbozal, poizon crafting, orkan harveztinh, interrokazion”
. Struck with ideas Mirō leaned back in her chair, “Interrogation help wouldn’t be necessary. We have a division that deals with interrogation that would make medical ninjas veto our ways. As for gaining more in depth medical knowledge I can see us benefiting greatly.” A give and take. Most ANBU operatives are nearly jounin level when it comes to combat but lack luster in medical affairs. The simple ninjutsus were something most AiTs walked in with, but making it mandatory to learn the lower level ninjutsu would lower the injuries from dangerous missions.

A hand pulled the document that rested on the desk. Mirō opened the doc to view its contents. Red hues gazing over the sub divisions within the medical branch. What stuck out to her the most were the Harvester Division and the Sentou Henkan. “Interesting. Without making another division solely to train medical ninja jointly with ANBU I say we exchange services mutually. The ANBU will provide the medical team with combat expertise only to those who join the Sentou Henkan division. We will give you proper recon training and teach the art of stealth to your operatives, in return for detailed resuscitation training and triage.” Silvery words reverbed out to Midori. “I’ll get this off my chest now. If you have medical ninja on joint operations with my ANBU your men and women will wear a mask. Standard issue, plain white. Your members must also understand the code the ANBU follows. If they were to be compromised, they will be dealt with permanently by our own hand or theirs. Secrecy is the heart of the ANBU and I will not have my operatives' lives thrown away by mistakes made by medical ninja.” Those shining red hues gazed up into the orbs of Midori.

Mandatory mask mandate has been upheld by the ANBU since its upbringing. Those of the Sentou Henkan are essentially ANBU when paired with Mirō’s own. To eliminate risks, a goal of hers to achieve as Sennin. Her attention turned back into the document. “As for both of our branches including the Main branch, we all have a lack of people. We need to downsize our divisions to focus primarily on our branch duties.” A black nail tapped the title of the Harvester division twice. “This division alongside another division which focuses on assassinations need to be purged. Why the hell are medical ninja carrying out assassinations recklessly? This clearly falls into ANBU territory along with organ harvesting does it not?” It only made sense to her to wipe out divisions of medical subdivisions that fell into her territory. Between a Harvester and a member of the Sentou Henkan they would be on the same joint mission as an ANBU. The medical ninja would provide precise knowledge on the organ and removal, but teaching it to ANBU operatives removes the need for a harvester. The medical branch focuses on field support and healing. ‘There’s no need for them to get their hands dirtier than the blood already on them.’

Mirō laid down the document on the desk, “I understand that my request may be drastic but I hope the Medical Sennin understands where I’m coming from.”

Midori would then listen to Mirō's concerns which made her chuckle. The Medical Sennin knew some people in her branch who would be interested in more crueler interrogation practices, not all Medical nins were pacifist though of course if people knew that the medical nins wouldn't be that trustworthy with saving lives. Luckily, the Anbu seemed interested in a mutual exchange between the two through the Sentou Henkan with the Anbu teaching combat to the medics and her own branch aiding the Anbu in having some medical knowledge. "Indeed. I vouldn't make anozer zub-diffizion just to train your Anbu und my medics. A mudual exchange iz vat I believe our branches need razer zan ve being zee only benefacdor in zis arrangement." Midori explained, looking down at the young Anbu who seemed relatively tense when speaking to her this time. Bathory watching from a good distance away watched, a bit confused at the lingering tension in the room wondering if they did something to seem untrustworthy. The medical sennin chucked, leaning down to the young Anbu. "Mein dear, relax. I haffe faith zat voeffer vorks vith your branch vill do excatly as required to azure to zee to zee zafety of your schinobi. Zough if zere is a problem in zee future, I'll zee to it zat zee perzon vho dares to pit your people in danger und cauze zuch mischief vill be properly handled by myzelf." she stated in confidence as though there was nothing to worry about.

The mask mandate was something she would have expected anyway since the Anbu was a more underground network. Keeping the names and faces of their finest spies is critical not just for the safety of the person but for the safety of the entire village. When Midori agreed that the medics in the Sentou Henkan will be masked and their names kept secret there was another sort of problem that came up. Namely about the harvesters sub-divisions which honestly even Midori herself found it odd that medical nins should do assassinations. "Honestly, I can't giffe vu a good reazon vhy zat's effen a zing to begin vith; I chust zought ve'd chust scrap zee harvesters all togezer zen move zee beople vo vork zere to zee Sentou Henkan instead zince zey poth do zee zame zing." Midori said with a shrug. Honestly she has been wanting to scrap the harvesters, the only thing holding her back was the people who work there hence why she met with Mirō in the first place. The medical sennin could only guess that the medical sennin's before her only kept the branch as a option to either recruit more people or they just didn't want to get rid of it since there was a lot of thinking involved in getting rid of a subdivision.

"Alas, the harvesters are a old branch one made ven Kumokakure had been more opprezzive to zeir ovn people. Ven teaching at zee acatemy meant killing children und ruthless exberimentazion vas zee norm." she sighed, while thinking of those dark years in Kumogakure's past. Midori couldn't for the life of her understand why on earth did the leadership have to go for being so violent towards their own people, it was horrid enough that the people outside of these walls fear the shinobi but having your own abuse their power just didn't make any sense to her. "I honestly been vanting to replace zee harffesders to create a parametic zub-diffizion. Zince my branch is compozed of 6 zub-diffizion's vith 3 being zee general hosbital vork und 3 being vork out on zee field I zink making ein betder resbonze team vould be betder in caze zomezing vere to haben zat requires us to be more active. An elite ampulance, if vu vill! One zat can zecure an area und zaffe zee patient by any means necezary." Midori stated her vision of what she will be replacing the harvesters with. Since out on the field they would have one sub division who'd mostly work with the Anbu and the other one had basic medical ninja's more suited for main branchers if they need help. An effective paramedic team seems like the better option rather than a group of ripper doctors.

A well maintained brow cocked up when Midori assumed she was tense. Mirō understood where she could’ve got that idea from. Just because she was ANBU Sennin didn’t mean she had authority over each branch, that was obvious. But Mirō wanted to pave two paths for the Medical Sennin to take. A road to compromise if ideals and desires weren’t mutual between both parties. Luckily for her Midori landed on her side.

"Alas, the harvesters are a old branch one made ven Kumokakure had been more opprezzive to zeir ovn people. Ven teaching at zee acatemy meant killing children und ruthless exberimentazion vas zee norm."

giphy.gif
Mirō blinked twice when those words slipped past Midori’s lips. Had she looked over vital information of Kumogakure history or was Midori lying? Perhaps Mirō was wrong about her being a foreigner. Sennin as the age of 15 meant very little time to experience the villages traditions let alone learn the in-depth history of the village. If it were true then the medical branch was way more hardcore than she had previously thought. The usual botched surgeries and infected stitchings were some of the things that meandered in her head when thinking about the details and history of the medical branch but never… executing children. ‘Maybe I have to re-up on Kumo history.’

“An ambulance? You’re going to replace the harvesters with a search & rescue division? Better than having a medical branch for organ harvesters. The main branch would benefit too along with the majority of Kumogakure.” That was her goal in the end. No matter the circumstance, any positive change that would benefit Kumogakure, Mirō would support it wholeheartedly. With a division to rescue people safely and bring them back to the hospital, previous sennins were foolish not to have one. “It’s your branch but I wonder why the Raikage hasn’t implemented that type of division. She is a prominent medical professional after all.” Mirō shrugged her shoulders.

As discussion progressed Mirō chimed in for another change she’d like to see. “Within the ANBU we have strict guidelines for any genin and academy student that wants to be enrolled in the branch. No history of psychological distress…” Incidentally she herself was a victim to psychological trauma but tight lips and a strong oath prevented it from slipping out. “And no pre-existing medical conditions such as poor vision, breathing troubles and any abnormalities, people with these conditions are not allowed to join the ANBU. However,” Her red hues cut over to Midori’s eyes, “If a student or genin can get these issues resolved permanently then there would be no issue. I have a student in mind that would be great for the ANBU but has one of these ailments. With solid communication between our branches, I’d like to send potential students to you and if they get a certification from you saying they are completely cured I would be more accepting of those with pre-existing conditions.”

The Sennin who made that rule was right to make such a strict guideline, but with the advancement of medicine and the lack of able-bodied children the restriction was damning. If they were to be examined and cured of their ailments with proper certification from the Medical Sennin, Mirō would be more inclined to welcome the new recruits.

When Midori noticed the stunned look on Anbu Sennin's face, she suddenly came to the realization that the young Sennin had no idea what she was talking about. With the young Anbu being Sennin, Midori simply assumed that she would know a bit of the Anbu's past however the medical sennin was like older than her so naturally she'd know more of the history. "Oh vu vere probably Helzevere ven all zis habened. Vu zee I haffe a habit of reading zome of zee old records to learn more about zee history of zis land to learn vat zee ozers before me haffe accomblisched. Vu'll find zat many interesding zings habened here before your time, mein dear." she sighed when looking back at some of the things that people seem to not realize that happened here. The academy used to have a really high mortality rate. Students had to endure grueling experimentations like being exposed to dangerous chemicals, absorp of mutagenic compounds, and neurophysiologic augmentation intended to speed and refine the development of their chakra systems, allowing them to utilize shinobi jutsu. Add the overzealousness of some of the teachers and the rule being those who fail die; the academy was a much scarier place than how it was now. But thankfully those grim like days were behind them, adopting a more peaceful approach teaching so the villagers could at least be happier.

When Mirō seemed interested in her proposal to replace the harvesters with a search and rescue squadron. Honestly people could get hurt right now and wouldn't be able to get Medical attention until they came to the hospital by themselves or be carried by an ally. With this new subdivision that acts like an ambulance to arrive on the scene to give aid to the wounded seems like a good option. "Indeed. Azzazzin's are plendiful here hoveffer zee healthcare resbonze is vat truly lacks in zis fillage. Zee longer zee vait vould mean zat zee vintov to actually zave zee patient schrinks. Ve as medical nincha's schould ko to zee patient razer zan haffe zee patient come to us." she nodded. The idea honestly came to her when she responded to the gate being blown to bits and the many civilians that got injured. Loss of life is permissible in her lobe of work, failure to respond to make sure the loss of life doesn't happen in the first place is unacceptable.

When Mirō seemingly wondered why a branch like that wasn't in place by the Sennins before Midori, the vampire paused for a moment then shrugged. "I don't know, maybe because zee harffesders are more for zoze vo zink of our branch as non-violent. Children zeze days are more insbired by zee azzazzin's, zee hero's und all zat. Zo haffing zee harffesders vas probably kebt around to make zee medical branch zeem... Cool? Do vu zee children schtill zay zat anymore?" she asked. What other reason could there be to keep the harvesters around besides appealing to those who see shinobi as being on the front lines? After all, some people look at the medics as more of a safe branch, Midori even heard of some teacher's threatening to ship students to the medical branch as a sort of punishment. The branch was made out to be the branch for the weak but maybe if she actively went out there then show what her branch was really about perhaps more recruits will start flowing her way.

The next thing that Mirō discussed was the qualifications for joining the Anbu… Midori listened to this carefully to the guidelines which require recruits have no history of psychological distress and no underlying health conditions. Looking down at the Anbu Sennin, Midori raised her eyebrows then began to nod taking note of Mirō's reaction when the young anbu said something about psychological distress; thinking that maybe the young Sennin had some trouble with mental health herself or at the very least was dealing with problems of their own. When the young Anbu finished the medical sennin chucked. "Vy of courze! Vu may zend zeze recruits to be to me und I vill try to take care of zeze condizions zat may hamber zee ability for zee perzon to join your branch. Ve can offer your nozing butt zee best of treatments zat I vill zee to myzelf. Vezer zat pe medicazion, zurgery or effen a psychological effaluazion." she stated proudly though Midori was curious about what this recruit that Mirō wanted. Namely the problem that he had since she had no idea what was wrong with the child. "If vu don't mind, could vu descripe zis student vu haffe in mind for my treatment. Namely vat is keebing him from choining your people."

The academy used to pit children against each other in the academy, what pure savagery. Luck might’ve been on her side all along to avoid having to fight other academy students to the death. The history books foretold of harsh and severe training to become one of Kumo’s finest shinbo, but scientific experiments… Mirō never would have guessed it. ‘Maybe the medical branch should be defunded.’ A smile formed on her lips. But honestly, if it were life or death Mirō would come out on top. The fact that information was overlooked showed how much knowledge she had in Kumogakure’s history.

The idea that students only joined the ANBU to become trained assassins intrigued Mirō. She could spin that thread into a variety of insults but nothing would stray too far from it’s simple truth. The glamour of being an assassin is an idea made with a mind of innocence. Assassins bloody their hands not for fame but to test their power. The life of an assassin shouldn’t be taken blindly without though. However, toddlers are impressionable… Mirō pondered who the true heroes are in the village, the answer was simple. The three branches are all equally important, without each failure of the village is imminent. Without the doctors and nurses, and medical ninja that save family members daily the village happiness tanks.

Mirō shook her head in disagreement. “If that’s the case you just need more medical ninja teaching at the academy. Subtly molding the minds so they fit into your branch. Either yourself or a jounin.” She said. Mirō knew how the system worked, though her verbal sentence was a generalization it was fact. Taking the Main Branch as an example, absent Sennin…? No wonder they’ve been quiet.

At last, a small smile appeared upon her lips when Midori agreed to send potential ANBU academy students to her for evaluation and curing. “I’m happy we can work together on these things, another added point to that proposal would be that the student medical records stayed in the Sileo Tempestas. Basic information can be distributed but psychological information will remain redacted.”

“I’m surprised you don’t know who I’m talking about. I thought I sent his ass over the medical branch. Maybe he lost his breath walking over there.”
Snickering to herself Naibu rolled her eyes at her joke. “Corny…” “Or maybe he got scared and nearly passed out! That’s what happened during his training.” Clearing her throat to place herself back on the objective. “Tsukinowa Shinjo. He hasn’t officially decided to join my branch so I don’t mind delving into it. Basically, he has asthma on top of psychological trauma with his family’s history. If he can breathe normally I myself can handle his history.” Mirō refrained from spoiling her plans with the boy.

A hand moved to the right side of her desk to open a drawer. Mirō remained to keep it traditional by pulling out ink and a brush then after pulling out a scroll. Clearly she wrote down what they have discussed so far and what they agreed upon. After a few moments the document was finalized with extra space left over to add more points of interest to it. “Currently these are all the changes I wanted to make with my branch and yours. All that is left is your signature then we can take the document to the Raikage so she can approve it.” Mirō spoke as she rolled up her sleeve on her arm. Once Midori would sign, Mirō needed to make another copy. Her other arm free of bandages she placed her forearm down on the scroll to absorb the content into her skin. Shifting her body her arm began to peel apart into another sheet of paper that mimicked the original copy.

It was true that the medical-nins were in fact looked down upon since healing wasn’t really considered to be “The Hero’s.” Some like the idea of fighting, becoming killing machines in the process because as the culture is shinobi are people who fight. To certain children the medics really didn’t fit into the idea of being a shinobi hence why most flock to either the main branch or the anbu though what Mirō said about teaching at the academy did interested her… After all, most students join a certain branch because there was someone there that they looked up to even if the role-model in question could be questionable. ”Zat’s a splendid idea. Vu know zee reazon vy most schtutents choin a branch is because zey vere exbozed to a indiffitual zat zey look up to in zat branch.” Midori chuckled before raising her hand to rest so she could tap herself on the cheek as a thought passed through her mind. ”Maybe it vould be better if I vere to host zeze clazzes, afder all I am scheduled to teach a class zomedime tomorrow anyvay. Zough… naffikading inzide of zee academy might be a little difficult.” she thought out loud wondering why the structures in this village had to be built so small. Like, in ancient times there used to be giants known as the First People according to the Raiden worshipers but no matter! Midori was able to squeeze herself into this place so she could manage to move in through the academy halls with hopefully nothing too embarrassing happening along the way.

So far this meeting was going pretty well since the two agreed on Anbu's terms. The terms were understandable since Midori was dealing with the Anbu so naturally being anonymous had been a part of the whole package, afterall most were spies and assassins so their identity must remain a secret not just for their safety but the people around them. ”Vy of courze zee medical records may be schtored here, zee records are alvays have been treated as confidendial anyvay hoveffer I vill giffe your people zee apility to redact as much informazion as vu pleaze for extra zecurity. Esbecially zee pzychological Hinformazion zince zee enemy could exploit zis to cauze mischief.” she nodded in agreement. Medical records were always considered to be confidential, but with the extra from the Anbu to keep a lid on their own members was also a good for covering herself in the event of a leak whether it be due to a spy or accidental. Can’t be too careful since there was always a chance that things could go south.

As for the student that she was sending her way, it appears that the child that the young Sennin was interested in had some kind of trouble breathing along with blackouts during his training sessions. Of course, she chuckled at the young anbu attempt at a joke though pleasantries aside Mirō did share some important information about the young anbu to be. Basically, his name was Tsukinowa Shinjo who was suffering from asthma and on top of that there was some psychological trauma with his family history. Midori nodded her head in understanding, since asthma was obviously an issue but the young Abnu only wanted her to focus on the whole asthma deal only since that was the issue. ”Interesding. I zink I vould probably zee zee child vithin a class I’m teaching zince zee class I vould be teaching vould be for schtudents vo are haffing difficulties vith zeir endurance. Namely zis class would be with schtudents vo zuffer from asthma like zis Schincho." Midori thought, then decided. "I'll haffe a look at him for vu. I zink all he really needs is a inhaler but zere might be ozer opzions for him too zuch as chust giffing him a respirador or effen zurgery if it is zerious enough. It all depends on chust how zerious his condizion is at zee momentt." the giantess explained the few solutions that she had came up with off the top of her head. Though if the child was in a more serious stage of asthma, surgery probably won't be avoidable given that he'll be dealing with numerous triggers including stress while he was with the Anbu.

Once everything was all set and done. Mirō would then create an agreement between the two branches of the changes that they were to make. The update to The Sentou Henkan included along with some rules that Midori agreed on and the mutual exchange of knowledge between the two branches; the extra added bonus to the agreement would be the disbandment of the harvesters for a search and rescue division for field work. Reading the scroll gravely, Midori would then smile then pinched her fingers around the tiny ink brush before signing her name on the agreement. "Zank vu for your buziness, mein dear. I look forvard to being a partner vith vu once efferyzing gets through zee aproffal process." Midori said though trailing off from business for some casual banter. "Speaking in vich, how vu are liking being zee Anbu Zennin zo far? I don't mean to pry put I am curious of how vu are feeling being resbonzible for zis branch und it's schinobi." a bit bold, but Midori thought she should ask.

Mirō listened intently on what Midori would do to help her troubled student. “An inhaler? That’s it? I’d like the problem to be permanently dealt with.” The idea of an inhaler for a common student sat just with Mirō, but within the ANBU it's another story. If he were to embark on a mission and in the middle of a battle he would need to pull out his inhaler…? Mirō shook her head side to side. “An inhaler wouldn’t be practical. Perhaps we can work further together.” An idea popped up into her head. “We could design a special mask that acts like a respirator for those who need it. The cost to build one would be covered by both branches, I also doubt that the Raikage would oppose that idea.” Mirō shrugged. If the Raikage hated the idea of spending resources on ninja to strengthen the village… more issues would blossom.

A fine brush was handed to Midori and after she signed her name Mirō hovered her arm over the document. Her arm acted like a stamp, copying the contents of the document the text resembled tattoos along her forearm. Before Midori’s eyes the text reshaped itself as her forearm skin began to peel off into a sheet of paper that matched the original. The text and signatures slipped off her skin like liquid and readjusted perfectly to mimic the original. Taking the copy Mirō rolled it up neatly into a scroll. Handing it off to Midori after she tied it tightly, Midori asked about how she personally felt about being the ANBU Sennin.

Those red hues rose up from her desk to stare Midori directly in her eyes. The weight of mistakes and consequences of someone's actions burdens them and makes their life harder. Amplify that by being the head of the most secretive and deadly branch of Kumogakrue, at the ripe age of 15. Personally she felt… ‘Mirō.’ Naibu whispered into her mind without looking up from her book. If anyone understood how she felt being the ANBU Sennin, it was her summon. “Being the ANBU Sennin is tiresome work but wholly vital to my goal of ensuring the safety of Kumo. Nothing more, never less.” Her words slithered past pastel lips like a serpent's tongue. There was truth behind her words but not the fullest truth within itself. Midori-San is a respectable figure who leads the head of the Medical branch, but a friend? Nobody would want to be Mirō’s friend. ‘They always end up dead…’ Her cold hues fell back onto her desk.

Blinking twice to regain her train of thought Mirō spoke up. “And what about yourself, Midori-San? I’ve heard you were the most recent addition to take up the mantle of Kumo’s Medical branch. Did you adjust well? What do you specialize in?” Boldness combated with boldness. The medical team is a group of individuals Mirō wanted to remain on their good side. The possibility of intricate surgeries, organ sterilization and modern medicine helped aid those in need in Kumo.

An enhanced respirator was just what Midori was thinking, something to act as a quick rescue inhaler on the battlefield so the student didn't have to actually pull out an inhaler in the heat of battle while also filtering out airborne triggers which was a bonus. When the young Sennin spoke of having to pay for the respirator, Midori chuckled at this then politely said. "Vu don't need to vorry about zee cost, all zee schinopi here in zis village has a quality healthcare plan. Zere von't be any cost to zee branches directly zince ve kinda are funded through taxes und vatnot." she admitted, shinobi fight for the village so obviously it wouldn't really cost anything to be seen by a medical nin. The only ones that would have to pay for something like that were regular civilians who dwell within the village walls since they weren't really fighting for the country per say hence why healthcare for the villages shinobi had been just a bit better than one plans for civilians which is why certain people have to actually hire the medical branch shinobi to heal them and why actual shinobi could just walk in to the hospital then get a kinjutsu free of charge.

As Midori watched Mirō she couldn't help but notice how the child was seemingly an expert in using paper style Ninjutsu. She mostly found it interesting the method of her being capable of just producing and copying documents which could explain why her hues were red. 'Paper style along with the usage of the Uchiha bloodline, this is very interesting.' Midori thought to herself as she took her copy of the document that she would need to get signed by Lady Raikage herself to get the ball rolling but before she left the Sennin decided to just see how Mirō was fairing. Needless to say things kinda got tense when she asked the Anbu just how they were feeling, Bathory putting her front legs on her head as she looked at Midori wondering why did the medical sennin have to get personal with her question. Midori herself at least kept a friendly look upon her face as the young Anbu told her just how she felt about being Sennin. Obviously there was probably more to the story but Midori decided to not ask too much since the look was all she really needed to know to learn that the poor Anbu seemed stressed by something.

Though after a moment of awkward silence, Mirō asked her how was her experience being the newly appointed sennin. " Oh~ I am adjusting zurbrizingly vell vith my new position. Zough ven I became zee Zennin my specialty vas herpalism, first aid und zee more general zurgeries. Zough naturally now zat I am leader of zee branch, I had to learn to be a jack of all trates of zorts– to familiarise myzelf vith all zee practices und diffizions in zee medical branch zo I can make proper decizions zo none may make look at me und call me a charleton." Midori explained, pausing for just a moment before continuing. "Needless to zay zat my zudden raize in zee rank of zennin came as ein zort of zurbrize to me zince I more or less vas ein nopody at zee time.." Midori said then just as the Medical Sennin was about to tell the young Anbu her little tale the massive spider would start playing some sad violin music using it's web and it's front legs;

"Vu zee, from zee time zat I vas nozing but a academy schtudent, I had alvays been a bit plump zan most children my age. Vich vas vy I vas a victim of zee scorn und torment of zee ozer children in zee village. I couldn't run a 10k if my life depended on it– und alzo I drink chocolate zyrup from time to time during class." she looked blank for a moment before continuing the tale. "Zey bullied me! Called me effery fat inzult zat effen I could zink of und effen zaid zuch zings zat I vouldn't make it pass being a chanidor for zee local farmers market! But oh I got my revenge!– by becoming a good Medical nincha I mean. Alzo becoming zennin und immordal." Midori explained since the whole idea of how she got revenge implied something more sinister than just simply becoming successful. The sad violin music stopped with the ending of her tale.

"But zoze times are behind me, ve all haffe had our challenges groving up und zaving lives is my top briority now zince my chob is to care for zee health und vellbeing of all zee glorious villagerz of Kumogakure– zough az of yet it's been mostly pappervork und covorkers vanding me to zign off on certain prochects. Nozing really exciding really." Midori shrugged, before realizing she had taken more of the sennin's time than the giantess had originally planned. "Vell, zat vas a good vent. I'll get zis scroll dovn to zee Raikage for her zignadure but before I get out of your hair is zere anyzing elze vu need from me at zis moment? If not, zan vu can alvays come by zee hospital. Even if it's chust to chat or vent, my office is alvays open to vu my friend."

The position of ANBU Sennin was an interesting topic for Mirō to say the least. To delve into the details go a little too personal for her, even if it wasn’t in reality. She just wasn’t an open book, although was jealous of those who were capable of such.

A finely trimmed brow rose when Midori mentioned learning the tricks of the trade. The older generation knew what they were talking about. That was something Mirō still attempted to hold herself accountable for. The history of the branch and what happened prior to her becoming were important to her to avoid mistakes. A damn perfectionist. She knew of the less than stellar performance of the previous sennins. Like Midori said, she didn’t want to come off like a charlatan. To the public or to the ninja she controlled both Sennins wanted to be viewed as respected leaders who are more than qualified for the position. That weight pressed roughly against the back of Mirō’s neck.

When Bathory began to play her violin Naibu looked up from her book and at the spider. The sound of muse to her ears felt warm with a mindful representation of a stormcloud looming above. Naibu subtly swayed her head side to side. ‘Where did she pull the violin from…?’ The facts eluded Mirō enough to brush it off her shoulders.

Midori ran through her sorrowful time within the academy. From being called fat to being picked on for drinking chocolate syrup-- Wait. Did she say chocolate syrup…? From the bottle without milk!? Mirō’s red hues drove a mile over to Midori’s waist line to try and spot a flask or a canteen. Maybe she was fibbing. The important message she pulled from her painful time at the academy and showing others up by becoming sennin, was the mention of immortality. Mirō had many thoughts of immortality or even resurrection by unethical means. Mirō knew nothing when it came to intricate surgeries or advanced medicine. The two sennins would need another meeting like this but somewhere even more deserted than the Sileo. There were ears everywhere.

“I’d like to say the same for you Midori. Unfortunately this office space is ever changing. To make a surprise visit would lead you down a labyrinth of mazes. And you wouldn’t get far without someone escorting you.” Mirō spoke truthfully. “It’s easier if I came to see you in the hospital or within the village.” Mirō returned her kind smile to Midori. Mirō pushed the chair back with her legs and rose from her seat. She extended her hand to Midori to seal their new agreement.

Midori smirked at the idea of a more private meeting between them, you never know who could be listening in on these conversations here so it would make sense that they should meet elsewhere to be a little less formal. “Zat is perfectly alright with me - plus I had one hell of ein time fitding inzide of zat eleffador of yours zo meeding me elze vere vould be a little betder.” she stated since the elevator was indeed pretty cramped. While the last minute visit was indeed necessary for this matter she did risk getting stuck on several occasions inside of this place but then again the medical Sennin risked that every time she goes inside of most buildings with the exception being within her castle in the ancient forest. Guess the only problem with this place that Midori had was that the elevator was the only way in and out. So when the Anbu Sennin said her piece, Midori decided that it was about time that she get out of the child's hair at least for now at least.

“Vell if zere is nozing elze zen I’ll be off zen, I look forvard to anozer meeding vith vu in zee future, young zennin.” Midori would then rise from her seat slowly so once she felt the ceiling against her head, the giantess would then crouch and the spider would then quickly dash for the door to open it for her mistress before sprinting around to follow Midori from behind since it was a lot easier to push her out than it was to pull in the unfortunate event that the Sennin would get stuck - plus tucking in Midori’s flab was much easier too. The gianetless once reaching the door would then bend down to duck her head out of the office and she began to squeeze her massive body through the doorway; in which she did without any issue save for her having to put just a bit more effort to get her lower body out but with a few good wiggles from side to side she was out of the office!

Readjusting her dress the spider would then crawl out of the room, Midori would then turn around then bent down a bit before waving goodbye to Mirō. “Vu handled our meeding vell, Mirō. Remember zat her Lordschip picked vu for a reazon und hoveffer unvorthy of zee title vu feel right now; neffer forget zat vu alvays haffe zee pover to zurprize yourzelf. Goodpye for now und I visch vu zee best of luck.” and with that she would then close the door then made her way back to the elevator. Putting the scroll inside of her purse then pressed the button and thinking just how well that meeting with the Anbu Sennin had been at least to her eyes. Just one more step to take……

The Sennins head tilted back as Midori rose to her feet. Even with the higher ceiling she still had to duck her head down. After a moment of struggle the medical sennin squeezed her way out of the doorway and into the hall. An Anbu ninja waited out near the elevator with his arm extended out to his side to lead the way into the elevator.

Mirō waved back while Midori’s words struck a chord in her brain. “Surprise myself huh.” The door closed shut and Mirō fell back into her chair. Mirō crossed her arms and tucked them underneath her aspiring bust. A finger tapped repeatedly on her arm, “I hate surprises. Precise planning that leads to success is the true way to live.” She huffed. Naibu’s brow rose while her silver eyes darted over to her. “You’ll live a life of disappointment then.”

“Tch, what do you know?”

“More than you, kid. I have my memories from before my death and the present memories. Trust me, if you live like that, you’ll die before you’re ready.”

Naibu rose up from her chair to let her legs stretch out. “That vampire knows a thing or two as well. I can tell they’re strong by the way they hold themselves too.” Naibu moved to sit on Mirō’s desk. “I know you’re strong too, but your self-doubt in your position will be your downfall. You worked hard this far, keep working. What drives you?”

“What… drives me…?” Mirō laid back in her chair. Her long black tresses fell evenly towards the ground while her red hues gazed at the ceiling in wonder. A lot of shit cluttered her mind, from just recovering from her incident at the gates, to finding her parents whereabouts and eliminating the Tenouzan threat from the village. “I might have to see Jin one last time. You really know how to kick my ass don’t you…?” Naibu had a devilish grin curl up on her profile. “I’ve been with you for a while now. I’ve learned more about you thank I think you know about yourself and me.” Snickering to herself Mirō let out a deep sigh of content. “I guess so. Let’s finish up this document and make our way to the Raikage.” With an affirmative nod from Naibu, Mirō plugged away at the document to reinforce the ideas between the Medical Sennin and herself.
