Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Current Ninpocho Chronicles Time:

God taught me, Now I shall teach you... [Class]

Ko was slightly excited about today, but he was also worried. The fourteen year old boy was going to be hosting his very first class. He wanted to make sure that he'd be able to help any and all students that decided to take his class. He was an Ice specialist that was learning Medical Ninjutsu as well, but his area of knowledge covered almost every style of techniques. He wasn't capable of using many styles, but he knew how to help others learn. He in fact had a student of his own, her name being Kaito Shinzo, and she followed him alomst everywhere. Shinzo would probably be in Ko's class, for she tended to follow him every where that he went.

Ko walked into the school room and walked to the front of the room. He had about ten minutes of preperation before student would be arriving in his class. He walked to the front of the room and wrote on the board.
Board said:
Hello, and Welcome to "Engaged Jutsuism." My name is Reito Ko, please call me by my surname. Please take a seat and be ready for class at 11:00 AM.
Ko looked at the time, it was seven minutes until eleven. He smiled and sat on top of his desk, facing the students. He moved his white hair out of his eyes using his left arm. The arm that had been tainted with black blood and now had a criss cross of black veins coursing through it. He let out a sigh when he heard a rather loud noise coming from the halls. The voice that echoed through the school was loud and high pitched. Keito Shinzo was near. Ko let out a sigh. She would be there.

A small girl ran into the room. She had pig tails on her head and similiar clothing to Ko. Her eyes widened when she saw Ko. "Ko-Kun!"</COLOR><i></i> She smilied at him and stared at her sensei, Ko, on the other hand, let out a sigh. <COLOR color="blue">"Shinzo, Please take a seat and await for the other students to join." Shinzo smiled and took a seat and stared at her sensei. Ko let out a sigh and rested his hand on his forehead. Ko looked around awaiting for other students to join.

Shinji quietly walked down the hall, eyes darting here and there, observing the surroundings, taking it in, searching for the door that will lead him to his classroom. It was supposed to be around here somewhere. He wasn't feeling anything at the moment, nor was he thinking of anything but getting to the room. Its just the way he is. And so, minutes went by and he finally took a turn and into a classroom. There was a fourteen year old boy there. He assumed him to be a classmate, albeit an older one. Ko was in front of the room as if he was the teacher but he paid the other no mind and decided to sit on the floor, close his eyes and meditate, waiting for the teacher to come, not knowing the boy, as well as some girl, probably younger than himself, he found sitting there. He never thought that not acknowledging people was rude. He's just not been very sociable.

It was an odd experience life, however, one that Ikkadan embraced with open arms. However, he was just like any other normal young boy, whom was only a Chuunin. Well, that's not entirely normal. Despite his memory being a little foggy on that subject, in fact; a lot of things were seemingly quite foggy for the young man. It was suggested by a family friend that he should go and reiterate his knowledge before his memory went all wobbly. "Class room..." He would murmur under his breath, looking down at a scribble of led markings, "24-B." The uniformed dressed teen, wearing a red buttoned jacket with it's collar trailing two tails of white material down his back, and red boots with red gloves - yes, he liked red.

His red gloved hand would cress the door handle, wasting no time in bouncing in with a bubbly attitude - a boyish attitude none-the-less. "Hello!" Ikkadan would exclaim with a bright smile, pushing himself into the classroom and immediately setting sights of the lecturer for the day. He looked odd, well his arm did at least, but the man himself seemed okay. His brown, beautiful chocolate, hues would stray away from the unnatural sight of Ko's arm.

Ikkadan would rise his hands and comically pout a disturbed trout pout, "Waaaaait. You're not that old, how can you be a lecturer?" He would hesitantly move to his seat, dropping the comical expression before relaxing his facial skin. This student was going to be a handful at best, he was after all the union of two souls: birthed through unnatural means. He was special, most indeed. Two mothers, one Queen and another her fateful protector. However, Ikkadan's memory would be hazed out about this information - as far as he knew, he was born into the Yamazaki family by any old means.

And he just forgot his family, which was weird, because he never did feel any emotional pull towards the story... As if it was artificial.

[Joining for a bit of fun; Ikkadan is a higher rank, but for this topic, he's just joining to jog his memory..]

Ko smiled at the first boy that walked in. He would have more than just one student. Standing up he walked towards the door and looked to see what time it was. He had a few more minuted before his class would be starting. Another boy walked him, but this one was the same age as Ko. Shutting the door behind the third student walked back to the front of the classroom.

"I may be the same age as you, but the lord Dekishi has blessed me with the strenggth and knowledge to help others become stronger."<i></i>

He smiled at the student. Three. He had three students in his class. This gave him an excitement like none other. Sitting back on the desk he looked at the three students. looking them over to see what he had to work with. He knew Shinzo, the small girl sitting off to the side. He had worked with her before. She tended to focus on Taijutsu and she could perform some wind style techniques. She would be good in almost any situation. Her only down sides would include her loud mouth and her constant attempts to impress.

Ko turned to look at the first boy that walked in, he seemed shy and awkward. He hadn't really said anything since entering the room, and the last student was the same age as Ko. He was dressed in a suit similar to Ko's, but red. He could work with this. He smiled.

"As the board says, my name is Reito Ko. I will be your sensei, but before we start I would like for each of you to introduce yourselves. If you can, try to include something about yourselves.<i></i>

***

Shinzo watched over the room and smiled. She liked this new kid. He seemed funny. She stood up as Ko-sensei finished talking. "My name is Kaito Shizo, I am a high speed taijutsuist."<i></i> She smiled and looked over at the boy in the coat. She winked at him before sitting down. She sat down and started to play with one of her pigtails. She was excited, she would spend the day with not only Ko, but this new cute boy as well. She smiled and looked down and slightly blushed.

Dekishi, what on Earth was that?

Ikkadan didn't bother to ask what a Dekishi was, partly because it sounded faintly boring but on the other hand: it sounded quite interesting. Gah, the complex of a conscious mind. "Oh, alright." He would smile and casually take a seat somewhere apart from the other two students. He didn't know whether he should mingle just yet, or leave it till the class deemed it more appropriated. From there on, Ko would ask the students to introduce themselves respectively so that everyone else may now know their names and what not.

He listened to the young girl with pigtails, although was somewhat thrown back by her wink. It was a little distracting, especially since he didn't really know what that expression meant. Ikka would reply to her wink with an awkward smile and a slow wave of his gloved hand. "Hi." He would state plainly, urging himself not to get into an awkward situation. And then came the silence, well, that was primarily down to Ikka and the fact that it was his turn to speak about himself. "Well, I'm Yamazaki Ikkadan... I'm really here to have a refresher. I've been, ugh, occupied as of late." Ikkadan would state, while seated, before smiling at the other two students.

In actual fact, what he meant by 'occupied' was that he had only been born a few weeks previously. It sounded very cliche, perhaps artificial for the best part, but his birth was purely coincidental and magical. It was probably going to be the most magical, and fairy-like he would get before buckling down to a life that a shinobi would be required to lead. And thankfully, the positive young boy wasn't phased by his rank and theirs. He didn't really see the difference between one rank and another.

That's probably because he was still adjusting to the world.

Apparently, he had to deal with a child-like teacher, and a bunch of noisy misfits as classmates. Great. Just great. Shinji listened intently to each one, never really seeing the point in socializing with the two as they introduced themselves. Both sounded troublesome to deal with. Now was the time to introduce himself. And include something about himself? Hmm, what to include.

"
I am Tategawa Shinji." he started, not bothering to stand up from the piece of floor he was sitting on. "And I'm here to further my skills as a ninja." he said in his bored tone. He moved further back in the classroom and behind a chair on the third row, trying to make himself disappear.

((OoC: sorry everyone, I had finals and real life problems... any way...ON WITH THE CLASS! XD))

Ko smiled, he was actually happy with who he had in his class, so far anyway. He had three students, all of which seemed perfectly capable of holding their own. He was happy that he wouldn't be teaching newbies, but as the students introduced themselves he noticed large behavioral differences. Shizo, she seemed to be overly excited about the class, she had even made a new friend from what Ko had seen. Ikka-Kun, by stating he was hear for a refresher made Ko wonder if he was even a student. He wouldn't care about the boy's personal reasoning for the appearance in the class. For all Ko knew, he might have been sent by the Sennins to judge his teaching skills. This made Ko chuckle. Opening his eyes he watched as Shinji introduced himself and moved to the back of the room. Raiding an eyebrow Ko was confused.

"Nice to meet all of you, I am going to assume that this class isn't the first for all of you..."</COLOR><i></i>

Ko smiled at this and sat on his desk.

"Now that we all know each other so well, I feel that we are ready to start the lesson. Engaged Jutsuism is the art of using your opponents style and techniques against them. This is going to be a hands on class, so I would like all of you to follow me."<i></i>

Ko stood up and grabbed a key off of his desk. He was planning on moving the class to one of the Dojos in the school building. He was originally going to have this class be a theory class, with lectures and note taking, but these students seemed above par. He smiled and moved to the door and opened it.

"Last one out, can you please lock the door?"<i></i>

He headed out of the room and into the hallway. He stood across the hall from their room and waited for everyone to get out of the room. Once they were all out he would head down the hall to the third room on the right.

"We are going to be practicing this ideology first hand. Can all of you please enter the dojo and get ready for some training?"<i></i>

He spoke as he unlocked the door for his class. This Dojo was a unique one. It had some features in it that was slightly irregular. He stood by the door as he awaited for his students to enter. Keeping the smile on his face, he was getting excited.

***

Shinzo smiled as Ikkadan introduced himself and gave her a wave. She smiled at him. She thought this lesson was going to be great, but the other student was rather odd. Shinzo looked back at Shinji as he moved to the back of the room. Her face was blank, why was he running away from them? She didn't necessarily like him. He was rather odd, she liked people to be brave and daring, not depressing and null of expression. Then she heard Ko's voice again. She smiled and looked at her Sensei. She was happy to be able to be in his class.

"Engaged Jutsuism" She smiled, she enjoyed the idea of hands on classes. She was after a Taijutsuist, not much use for ninjutsu training, why not learn how to fight back. As Ko stood up Shinzo followed right behind him, but before she left the room she looked over at Ikkadan.

"Are you excited Ikka-Kun?"

She smiled and giggled before spinning out of the room with a giggle. She would follow Ko-Sensei down the hall and towards the Dojo. She walked with her hands together and behind her back. She walked with strait legs, taking large steps with each stride. She smiled and waited for Ko to unlock the door.

<COLOR color="#FF00FF">"Yes Ko-Sensei."<i></i>

She walked into the room and leaned against the south wall. The door rested on the west side. Shinzo flipped into a hand stand, took a few steps with her hands and landed. She smiled and flipped back onto her feet. She was excited.

Ikkadan would smile and nod his head towards Ko, whom was leading the trio into some sort of Dojo. He could already guess that the boy was going to teach them something physical, and he wondered the extent of this lesson. Ikka would look towards the girl, whom seemed pretty infatuated with the Yamazaki boy. And then it dawned on him, or perhaps it dawned on him more heavily, that he may have to battle against the Students. This wouldn't sit very well with Ikkadan because there wouldn't be a fair chance in pinning two students against someone who is of a higher status than them.

Although, that doesn't mean to say that they wouldn't be able to tassle Ikkadan into a corner if they tried. It would just feel a little uncomfortable to attack Students.

"I guess, Shizo-kun." He would smile and bob his head forward, respectfully. He would leave the comfort of his table and make way behind the lecturer. Although the niggle of worry still existed within his mind as to what would even happen during this lesson. On the other hand: it would be a chance to spring his muscles into action.

Ikkadan would entire the new classroom, which seemed more like an oddly constructed Dojo.

[Short post, sorry]

Other people in this class seem to leave him alone and he was happy with that. But alas, he can't get rich on his own. He needs to learn how to interact with people, to be friends with them so that he can reap the benefits of having friends in strategic places. To get to that goal, he must first learn how to make friends. Aah the pain of life. He frowned. He opened and closed his mouth like a fish, not really knowing what to say. No point in saying something that only gets you weird looks and people thinking you're a freak. He frowned even more when the teacher announced something about engaged jutsuism. Shinji was very sure Jutsuism isn't a real word. Its irritating. Shinji pouted as he listened to the teacher, giving Ko his full attention, unfortunately ignoring the other two. He nodded and let the others go first. He shut the door and followed the others inside a dojo of sorts.

Are you excited Ikka-kun?The annoying girl says. He thinks he should just cut her head off and concentrate on befriending quieter, less annoying people. He frowned, which turned into a pout when their teacher began showing off. He doesn't like seeing people better than him. He had to do something about that. He would have to be stronger. He would beat his teacher one day. One day. But for now...

"
What now?" he tried to actually sound happy, to be nice but those nice words in his heaed seemingly faded away and was replaced with his cold tone instead as he opened his mouth. "How irritating. I should've said something more happy." he said to himself, quietly.

Ko smiled as his students followed him and walked into the dojo. He wondered what exactly the students were already capable of doing. Ko followed Shinji inside the room and shut the door. He smiled. Looking over the students his mind began to wonder about who would work the best with who. Then it donned on him. Two of his students looked taller than him. He shut his eyes and sighed. This aggravated the boy. Oh well, there was nothing he could do about that.

"Ok, now I want you guys to partner up, who ever doesn't have a partner will be mine."<i></i>

Ko looked around, and wondered who would be with whom, but then Shizo stood right in front of him.

"Ko-Sensei, can you be my partner?"<i></i>

Ko sighed. She wouldn't leave him alone.

"But of course, Shizo-san"<i></i>

He looked over at the two boys, and smiled.

"I guess that means that you two are the other group. First we are going to start with Taijutsu. The first person in each group will go at their partner, with the intent to strike them. Their partner's job is then to redirect the attack and either dodge it, or use it against them."<i></i>

He looked over at Shizo with a serious face.

"For example, Shizo-san. Go!"<i></i>

The girl with pig tails nodded. She darted at her sensei before disappearing to behind Ko. Her hair seemed to float in the air as she moved. Her face was twisted towards the ground, while her feet flew in the air. Angel's Art: Flying Butterfly! The girl performed a chakra enhanced Butterfly kick. Her two feet glowed, as they had wings. Her feet flew towards Ko's head. The white haired boy spun around. His left arm, one that was riddled in black veins, now pulsed red. He grabbed her feet and pulled them across his body. Spinning his arm in a circle, he would catch the girl and make her do a somersault out of the kick. Shizo landed and turned back at Ko.

"Not fair!"<i></i>

Shizo made a pouting face at Ko. He laughed.

"That's is engaged jutsuism, or at least engaged taijutsuism. Once you guys get the nick of taijutsu, we will switch over to Ninjutsu, and that'll be you three against me. Now you two have fun."<i></i>

He looked over back at Shizo.

"And again!"

Ikkadan would smile at Ko's fruitful comment about the three of them facing off against Ko. Let's be honest, Ikka was a level above that of Ko - although, the more time the boy spent around the air of battle, the more his mind would become clear and docile against the unbalanced nature of battle. Which wasn't really good for the lecturer himself, whom seemed to enjoy teach; which was nice to see. It was always rare to find a person that enjoyed teaching others, but then why would those unhappy people even attempt to wrap themselves into a job where they are forced only to assist the desperately unhelpful.

"You're Shinji, right?" He would comment, smiling as he offered his hand for a friendly gesture. Whether the boy would accept or not, Ikka would return the hand back to his side; holding a gentle smile against his face. "We don't really have to do this, well I don't, but if you do then..." Ikka would completely drop his arms, and push out his face for an easy target. "Hit away."

He would add, still smiling.

And with whatever attack Shinji would throw; Ikkadan would accept such an attack and fall accordingly.

[It didn't seem fair considering the difference >.>; *is of Kinjutsu level*]

And so the class has finally devolved into a team up spar. And lo and behold, his partner is the obnoxiously loud one. Well everyone's loud here but that's beside the point. He wanted to spar with someone less talkative. Shinji rolled his eyes, his face indicative of the expression 'whatever' as his hands disappeared inside his kimono and threw a huge volley of projectiles. A Senbon Extra Volley technique. His eyes, bored and unenthusiastic, watched his opponent for now.

Ko smiled as he saw the two boys begin to partner up. He started to feel as if one of them weren't a student at all. It didn't bother him, maybe they were the Sennin's investigation team. The MiT Looked back at Shizo, who was darting back towards him. Ko ducked down and swiped her legs out from under her. He stood back up and reached a hand down to help Her up. She smiled at him, He enjoyed being her teacher. She was always happy and wanting to prove that she wasn't weak. From the corner of his eyes he saw Ikka-Kun take the hit from Shinji. He sighed.

"Hey guys, I don't think you get the concept of this portion of the class."<i></i>

He looked over to Shinji.

"While weaponry is considered Taijutsu, please use unarmed attacks, it helps with the Ninjutsu."<i></i>

He then looked over at Ikkadan, with a look of discontentment.

"Ikka-Sama, redirect the attack, try this time.<i></i>

He sighed and looked back over at Shizo, and winked. They had gone over the exercise and Ko felt as if she understood it. Ko just waited for the boys to get it done.

"Good luck."<i></i>

Shizo smiled at the boys while Ko waited for them to complete the task.

((OoC: shorter post on my part. To continue do the back and forth attack and redirect. I want each of you to post twice before my next post. Shinji attacking for a round, and then switch for a round of posting. After that i'll post again.))

Ikkadan would smile, and nod his head at the same aged lecturer; back flipping to skim past the volley of projectiles. "Ah, okay, okay, Ko-kun." He would say calmly, giving Shinji a honed stare. Ikka was going to comply with whatever it is that he had to do, Taijutsu was it? But the lecturer never specified whether it was unarmed Taijutsu or not, till just then... Most confusing.

It was easy enough to dodge the shuriken projectiles. Although, it point blank range; it would have been fiercely a different story. Ikkadan would smile again, readying himself into a stance before throttling himself forward. Seconds before making contact with Shinji, the boy would push off from the ground and enter the atmosphere above Shinji for a few moments - effectively leaping over the boy and landing behind him. Although, before he could make contact with the ground, Ikkadan would spin his foot in an effect to perform a mid-air, spin-kick against Shinji much to his surprise, maybe?

Somehow, Shinji got the impression that his teacher isn't very good at all with words and expressing what he really wanted to say, in enforcing the rules he want to apply. But then again, he was only eleven and he could be wrong. He just shrugged it off and focused on his opponent. This Ikkadan person seems really okay with dueling unarmed. It wasn't his strength, he would have to admit but he does know how to avoid. Or at least, he has a great aptitude at dodging things. However, all that aptitude was lost when it came to opponents faster than he is. He found himself on the ground a few moments later. It seems he would have a lot of ground to cover in order to become successful in this field. He wiped his face as he stood up, eyes straining on his opponent, expression still dull, eyes the same. Shinji raised his hand motioned toward the other to do it again, to come at him. No words are needed all he wants to do is to learn how to dodge and counter better.

"You want to go again?" Ikkadan would exclaim, loosely tilting his head as the boy had only moments before been knocked to his feet.

He would then proceed to smile, readjusting his head, and then bolting towards Shinji with a most fearsome speed. The boy would make a simple action towards Shinji by lifting himself and directing his two feet, the sole's of his feet, towards Shinji. It was a simple, and mostly readable attack, but it was something that might prove a challenge for the other combatant.

[Short post, I'm more flavored towards Ninjutsu posts :3]

((OoC: I gave an extra day due to being busy on Christmas, wouldn't want to force you guys to leave the festivities, and for Shinji's missing post we will go on as if he had done what was asked, dodging the attack. Shinji, if you disagree with this, PM me and we can change this for you.))

Ko nodded at two of his students, they seemed to under stand the task at hand, simple Ninjutsu dodging. Ko was glad that they got a hang of it so quickly, that would mean that the Ninjutsu section would be easier for everyone. He shifted his body to face Shizo as well.

"Good, now we are going to move on to the Ninjutsu section. If you all don't mind, you three will all be partnered with myself. The task at hand it simple, either dodge my attack, counter my attack, or, if you can, redirect my attack back to me. I need you three to stand at the north end of the room."<i></i>

Ko pointed to his left as he started walking to the other end of the room. He smiled, he loved Ninjutsu.

"Just to let you know, I am a Haku. For anyone that doesn't know what that means, I am a Shinobi born of Ice. Prepare for a temperature change."<i></i>

Ko laughed with his last remark. The rooms temperature went for a decent 27 degrees to a chilly 4 degrees. The temperature shifted while Ko spoke of being a Haku. Once he was on the other end of the room he turned to face his three students. He smiled and weaved a set of hand seals.

"Ready? Begin!"<i></i>

He landed his right hand, in a shape of a fist, into his open left hand. "Ice style: Icicle Rain" Ko smiled as seven, two meter long, icicles formed in the air. He pushed his hands out, open palm at the students, to launch his attack. Two of the translucent blue icicles launched at Shinji, another two launched towards Shizo, and the last three flew towards Ikkadan.

***

Shizo smiled as the boys finished the task, Ikka-Kun was so cool. She wanted to hug him in congratulations, but she knew that it would be a bad idea. She turned to face Ko, moving to stand beside the boys, and listened to her sensei. Shizo smiled, She had trained with Ko before, and she loved the fact that he was an Ice user. It was rare to see ice in a hole in a desert. As she reached the north end of the room She turned to face her teacher and smiled.

"Bring it on Ko-Sensei!"<i></i>

She saw her breathe as the ice spears formed in the sky. This exercise? She had passed this one many times before hand with Ko-Sensei. She jumped into the air, placed a hand on one of the icicles and pushed off. He foot touched the other one, and grabbed a hold of it with her chakra. She pulled her foot around her body, redirecting the attack towards Ko and released her chakra. sending the icicle back at Ko. Landing back on the other icicle she smiled at her sensei.

[OOC: I thought I had to wait for Reito Ko to post a formal post before I do....]

Shinji focused on his opponent, who was clearly more experienced than him, doing a move he's never seen before. It seems Ko was gonna use the momentum for a charge type of attack. 'Seems easy enough' he thought, watching closely, his body swaying in preparation as he anticipates the next move, his hand already shaking. He sidestepped and punched the underside of the other's leg, hitting the other's calf. When finished, he found himself on the floor, chest filled with scratches. Apparently, he didn't sidestep good enough to dodge entirely. At least, the attack didn't hit him entirely. Clearly though, he needs to work more on his speed. And maybe his power. He want to hit people more ferociously, more powerfully. He wanted more power in his attacks and counter attacks. And for that to happen, he needs to train more, more rigorously, just more. He needs more.

Shinji was so focused on his thoughts that he almost didn't hear his sensei's voice booming over them. He shook his head and caught the words 'ready? begin!'. Hence his senses heightened for a bit as he prepared for the sensei's attack and alas, ninjutsu. A simple ice element projectile wave attack. And two was aimed at him. This was just like what he was trying to do with Ko earlier. Maybe this time, that he had experienced a similar kind of attack, he'll be able to dodge them. And, alas, his sidesteps were a lot faster, enabling him to dodge successfully his hands automatically reaching for his senbons and throwing a singular volley of senbon toward his sensei, though he doubts all would hit. At the very least, counter attacks, in his humble inexperienced opinion, would have a higher chance of hitting people since they, he hoped, were caught unaware.

He sighed a big sigh and raised his hand, motioning for his sensei to do it once more. He wanted to master the art of dodging and countering.
