The Inuzuka seemed to not want to say anything more and that as fine for the Hokage she walked back to Kenshin’s side and he mentioned her breaking a training dummy.
“Oh well, I don’t know about that, but, if it can bleed I think I could manage that.” She was more adept at causing bleeding than anything else. A basis of her faith, she learned long ago blood was the key to unlocking the depths of despair she sought to send her enemies too. But that was too much for the kiddos, and, this was strictly a Taijutsu class. There would be no blood shed or sacrifices today, at least not at this early hour. Wiggling her fingers in her gloves she looked at him and put up her fists.
“Speed test?”
She wouldn’t wait for an answer as she forced a flurry of punches as she knowingly kept her elbows tucked. There was not fancy display of jutsu, for basic strikes were always a good choice. A solid hit at the right time in a precise spot could instantly drop an opponent. Pressing forward she followed up with a 16-hit combo knowing the only way to truly have a leg up on someone like Kenshin was to be aggressive from the get go. Allowing him the time to find his bearings would spell doom for her, in a real combat situation. He was stronger and bigger than her. However, what she lacked in size and strength, she more than made up for in her ability to strategize and prepare for any eventuality.
For her, Taijutsu was gritty and personal, not like ninjutsu, where you had the option of being away from you opponent. She liked the closeness of melee combat and feel of the kill which showed in her preference in gloves and daggers. Her style of assassination was to be close and personal with her victims, however, she was no longer walking that bloody path. Her preferences were ingrained within her and It was out of her hands now. The life was still very much apart of her until this very day and as she knew for herself and those like her, the could never really retire from the life. They were only retired from it.
