Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Name: Itsuki Inuzuka

Physical:
Itsuki is just a little below average with his height which is 1.45 meters, due to his active lifestyle and the way he is always keen on getting himself into trouble, you can easily know that he weighs less also. His total weight is give or take 48 kilos as of right now, it is true that he needs a little more. But he is still eating as any child would. It wasn't a surprise that he went into the Shinobi side instead of anything else like a storekeeper.
A golden hue, comparable to a honeyed orange is what people described as the color of his eyes. His hair is in multiple layers and is a dark green hue going towards black. It's bovine layered towards the front where he has 2 longer strokes of hair. His hair split in the middle with a bang.
His skin, is light beige, even though he is often in and around the sun. It always reminds him of having an 'elephant' thick skin.

He used to be dressed in the ways of his family, which is separate of the Clans itself. He doesn't wear their symbol but a symbol of a lotus flower. The parents have a wish to eventually create a full and blooming clan for the little Itsuki to grow up in. He has two little earrings which he proudly wears day to day.
These days he wears what ever is comfortable to him and doesn't make him stand out too much... one thing he started to pick up from a young age was getting tattoo's. The ones he have are done professionally, which is probably one of the reasons he is always broke and his home is what it looks like.

Mental:
He used to be a very cheerful little guy, always trying his best to help around the place. And being the best big brother once his little sister was born. He was protective of them. Yet after the accident, he started to change, the cheery loud little guy wasn’t around anymore. Because when he spoke, no one could understand him anymore and it seemed to hurt other people. Even those who he used to be calling friends ran away. This caused him to turn silent and try to adjust most things to basic words.
For his age, he is a smart person. For other people, he tends to come over rather intimidating and scary. Yet those who do get closer to him, get to know him better, learn that he is actually caring and somewhat defensive of what he holds dear to him.
itsuki is a curious little guy yet often has bad luck looming over him. He is confident and brave which makes him look rather calm in most situations.

History + BL:
The start.

Itsuki grew up rather peacefully, there was no father in the direct picture though. He did have a guardian, which was her mom's grandparents. But that was also because his mother was a bar owner. Itsuki was really young when he learned how to walk, and he was speeding off. He always smelled things like no other, heard things no other, and with his natural curiosity. It was safe to say that it gave him a lot of problems, but also the mother's grandparents. They were already old and couldn’t really keep up with the young ones. This left the mother to multitask a lot more, especially in the midday. She eventually got Itsuki to help a little around, it cheered everyone up. But in night times, Itsuki was sitting in the back learning before he had to go to bed. As schooling wasn’t around in their small village, the woman learned her son from what she knew from her past. Around the age of 5, Itsuki did get some more ‘troubles’ for his mom. He would often sneak out and discover the world on his own. At one day he even gave his mom a real fright, he didn’t come home from lunch. The small village started to search for Itsuki, as everyone loved the child, he was always so happy and energetic, even though he caused the village headaches.

They found him almost every evening in one of the forbidden temples. One brave villager went inside and started to search, but even he couldn’t figure out what was happening. Itsuki was with a big fox, but that one lay motionless while trying to help out a baby foxie. He was covered in scratches and a bite marks, but the young boy was trying. “I help, you no auwie” The villager covered up his mouth and made himself small, just shocked to see what was happening. He wanted to shout Itsuki back but was frozen by the size of that fox that lay down motionless. Itsuki stretched out his hand again, he instantly had to pull back, the fox was still not comfortable with Itsuki around.

Later on, Itsuki was the only one in his family Inuzku to have bonded with an orphaned little fox, a few years later. There was a great scan going around the village, the mother of Itsuki soon knew that he would be picked out since he already had been showing signs of a chakra wearer. Indeed after the scan it was clear that he would have to participate the academy, but still was to young. This gave the family time to start training the little boy to learn for the academy days to come.

After he turned 9 they started to learn him more about the chores and cooking so he would be able to live there on his own, they would provide the costs for him. But they all couldn't come to there to life with him. Each day the boy made his own breakfast and lunch, the dinner was still helped and he learned to make the most basic dishes. It was already clear he would be living alone in the big city.

After he enrolled, it was a rocky start. It was clear that there was a culture clash for him and soon he found out... If he was a good child, he would never be looked at... So he started to get a bit naughty at times. Ofcourse he does this with a good reason and at reasonable times. Where he lives, the people around already got used to them, but they always are innocent little things. Which made him also loved a bit.

Academy times.
Sparring... A time in school where he learned how to spar, but something went terribly wrong. He got a big hit which was too big for him to block, his opponent had been a lot stronger then that he had been. it caused him to suffer a form of memory loss and he didn't know anything regards of his past or else. All he learned that he had been living on his own in the city and that is where he had been picking things up. Oddly enough, his past companion was nowhere to be seen anymore either. Rumors went that it was missing or got killed.

Though they now call the Leaf village their home and have taken on a more humane lifestyle, the Inuzuka were not always this way; they take pride in being able to trace their nomadic heritage prior to the formation of any Shinobi village, a time were they lived in the wilderness side-by-side as beasts. Some say they had been the first to tame mankind's best friend, while others claim their ancestors were descendant of beasts themselves. In either case; none are more wild in spirit than the Inuzuka.

Wild Soul - Passive
Though many Inuzuka have calmed down over the generations to better fit the structured Shinobi life, there is still the fire within burning from a time where survival-of-the-fittest was in full force; where they were no less savage than the beasts they lived and fought with. Nothing brings forth this fierceness more than the thrill of battle.

Rank 1/2/3: The user gains +1/+2/+2 acc to a single [Taijutsu Subtype] unarmed of their choice. While the user has any amount of Temporary HP, they deal +5%/+10%/+15% damage to the same [Taijutsu Subtype].

Notes:
  • The [Taijutsu Subtype] is chosen at the time of obtaining Inuzuka, and must be noted in the user's Dojo thread.
  • The user may swap the [Taijutsu Subtype] using the same rules as learning/unlearning abilities with a 100 word RP.

Animal Companion - Passive
If their physical features were not enough to identify a Inuzuka, then the next most distinguishing aspect may be their closeness to the animals of nature, capable of communicating with them through both complex growls and sounds or simple body gestures. This is best emphasized by the bond they can form, becoming companions to the point where the two are near inseparable.

Rank 1/2/3: The user has an Animal Companion which has up to 25%/50%/75% of the user’s stats.

The Animal Companion works as follows:
  • The Animal Companion Class has a 40 HP Mod, and may move acc as per Custom Class rules.
  • They do not have CP, and are immune to CP Damage Effects and Chakra Burn.
  • Cannot use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu techniques
  • Can only perform Inuzuka Bloodline and Taijutsu Techniques that the user knows, but does not require CP to do so.
  • Animal Companion’s do not have AP.
  • Animal Companion’s have 4 conditional slots, that may be used to take actions.
  • Animal Companion’s actions use normal timing for the action, worked off of the user's AP.
  • Animal Companions may not perform any type of Clone or Creation technique.
  • May have 1 custom weapon using normal custom weapon creation rules.
  • Has a single inventory slot.
  • Animal Companion’s may enter into the same Style as the user for the same AP cost.
  • The Animal Companion and the user share a combo slot.
  • Damage done by the Animal Companion is unable to be buffed in any way.

Feral Shift - Physical Bloodline Style
The base instincts of the Inuzka echoes through every aspect of their fighting style. They hone their attributes to the point where they begin to blur the line between human and beast, taking properties of their spirit animal. the Inuzuka are well known for their smell and hearing rivaling that wolves and hounds.

Rank 1/2/3: While active the user gains a +5%/10%/15% auto-dodge. Additionally, the user may select one weapon in their inventory, this is now passively equipped. Upon entering this style, and every round after, the user may spend 3%/4%/5% Max CP to gain Temporary HP equal to the spent chakra.

Notes:
  • Temporary HP gained this way is not lost at the end of the round.
  • The Temporary HP also applies to the Animal Companion.

Vicious Hunger - Buffing Taijutsu
There is a secret aspect of the Inuzuka that they are loathe to share with outsiders and go to great lengths to deny. Buried within each of their hearts is the potential to become a maneater; and this thick hunger stems from their beastial heritage giving them the innate ability to cannibalize others to heal their injuries and grow in strength. To the Inuzuka, as much as any predator, the battlefield is a feast to be enjoyed.

Rank 1/2/3: The user gains 5%10%/15% of damage dealt by their attacks as Temporary HP.

Costs: 1.25ap, 270 CP and 135 CP/rnd.

Notes:
  • This may be maintained for up to 30 seconds.
  • If used on an attack that can hit multiple targets, you take the highest damage dealt and convert a portion of it to Temporary HP.
  • If the user is in Feral Shift, Temporary HP gained this way is not lost at the end of the round.
  • As per the UBR, Temporary HP does not stack, a higher amount overwrites a lower amount.

Alpha Status - Buffing Taijutsu
As an Inuzuka grows, they learn to better control their animalistic heritage. At a certain point, they become just as adept with their features as the beasts they identify with.

Rank 1/2/3: When the user performs a Taijutsu Technique their Animal Companion may combo with the same technique, gaining +1/+1/+2 accuracy and +0//+1/+1 crit chance.

Costs: 1.75ap, 450 CP and 225 CP/rnd.

Notes:
  • This may be maintained for up to 30 seconds.
  • The user’s Animal Companion cannot perform this technique.
  • Comboed techniques performed by the Animal Companion cannot be buffed in any way.
  • The first combo used per round with Alpha Status does not count as a use of a combo.
