Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It would appear that there would be an escort mission that would involve all three branches of Cloud. Mission requester's orders. The requester in question is a heavy set man with long black hair and a majestic looking beard. Where would he be going and why? Well he is going to make way to Port Cirrus and it is to defend his title of most alcohol drunk before black out! Akimichi Kenji is a world record holder that is certain that someone wants him eliminated

before he gets to the competition.

While Kenji is part of the Akimichi bloodline, he is no fighter, but rather a hugger! It is because of this, he wanted to have Cloud shinobi protect him while he makes his way to Port Cirrus. As for why he wanted someone from each branch, it is to have a wide array of protection, in his words. He would be waiting at a small town, a place where he grew up, to wait for his entourage of escorts to meet him. He promised to pay Cloud well whether he is successful in defending his title or not, just as long as he gets to Port Cirrus in one piece. Because of his fame and how much he is willing to pay, it is expected that this mission is an A rank mission, not for the feint of heart, though if it turns out to be just a standard escort, then there will be no harm foul.

The first person to show up at the small town was the medical shinobi, although he looks far from being a medical ninja, Seikon Yasu. He wears a dark red coat with buttons all over it along with black jeans. He also always wears a black beanie over his head. Many people would expect him to be some punk teen kid, but very few actually know him to be a very caring person that

is actually a Mednin, chunin version of medical ninja. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he would approach Kenji. "So you're the guy we have to escort." He said it as more of a statement rather than a question.

Kenji would nod, "You're damn right I am! World record holder right here!"

Finally, Kazan found himself at the helm of mission once again; this time, an escort deep within the lowlands to countries most prominent port. With nothing but excitement flowing through his veins, he approached the villages gates, handed over the necessary documents to a guard, and went about his way. However, he did so cautiously by activating his Sharingan and summoning his new found alley; Atlas. After a brief exchange, Kazan climb on top of Atlas and rode upon him as they traversed the unforgiving landscape of the country. It would take only a few hours to make the journey, but upon arriving to the designated meet up point, Akira would dismount Atlas and the two would begin walking about to find this 'famed' drunk. Glancing all about, he noticed a man fitting the description accompanied by another wearing a dark red coat with buttons all over it and jeans.

Glancing at Atlas and nodding, he approached to two with Atlas as his side as he heard the younger men ask a question, only to be immediately answered by the bulky man. "Akira Kazan, Jounin of the Hidden Cloud and designated mission leader, at your service." He say, with a brief nod. "Hmmm.." Said Atlas, drawing Kazan's attention. With a shocked looked, he'd speak once again. "And this is Atlas, my trusted friend and ally." He'd say, gesturing towards the majestic lion beside him. While this wasn't the most discrete entrance, Kazan and Atlas were both ready for whatever might come their way. He'd then glance at the young man, dressed in a red coat, and nod in acknowledgement.

If any would care to notice, Kazan is a rather tall and muscular man, who is clad in scaled armor. Possessing a sword at his side, a glaive strapped to his back, and a pair bladed claws strapped slightly behind his sword. His fiery red hair, and meticulously groomed facial hair, would exude a sense of power, confidence and ferocity to match that of his four legged companion, Atlas. Crossing his arms, he waited patiently for the final member of the group to arrive. This mission was supposed to be carried out by a composite team, composed of a member of the Main branch, a member of the Medical branch, and a member of the Anbu branch. Knowing this, he wondered if this man in the red coat was an Anbu or a Medical Nin.

Actions:
- Activated Sharingan (It's present for everyone to see)

Strange mission… and a strange ranking, too. But if someone felt that shadows were trying to make an attempt on their life, why not keep yourself well-protected? Hon, at first, speculated just what sort of adversaries would go out of their way to assassinate a drinking champion, but if Hon had learned anything throughout his duty in the ANBU… it was that man was unpredictable. Shit could flip at a moment’s notice, and he’d be better off expecting the Kages to fight over this guy than in any way, shape or form underestimate-

Okay, maybe he took the mission a little… just a tiny bit with ease. Hon couldn’t read the future, after all – there was no need to be paranoid over shit beyond his control… beyond his control, yeah. Something like what Aoi taught him. What Ziren showed him.

He was masked today. A white fox’s face adorned his own, with ANBU gear to boot – grey and uncharacteristic wear, a net shirt covered by grey plated armor of the branch, as well as black gloves reaching up to his elbows, and with black pants to boot. One of the few things that could be counted as 'eye-catching' would be the ANBU tattoo on his shoulder. All of this was the polar opposite of another member of today’s composite team, thus completing the dynamic of today's escort mission. Once all of his equipment was ready to go, he went through the Dragon Tooth Pass – not as Honnou, but as Byakko. From here on out, he was only Byakko. And he made the journey to the appointed town as fast as he could.

Unlike the very eye-catching redhead, Byakko’s arrival wasn’t declared until he entered their circle with a sudden Body Flicker: “My apologies. Byakko, of the Hidden Cloud. A pleasure to meet you all.”

He made his introduction short and sweet. The big guy had to be the Akimichi drinking champion, Akimichi Kenji. He… couldn’t help but assume that the redhead lion rider wasn’t a Mednin, so he’d have to be Akira Kazan. That’d make the last guy with the red coat, thick beanie and menacing outline their Mednin, Seikon Yasu.

"Oh....Um... Nice kitty?" Kenji would say to Kazan's large feline companion. He nearly jumped when the masked man named Byakko suddenly appeared. But as he looked at the group of people that have gathered around, he felt confident in their abilities to protect him. Yasu would then scoff to himself before going on to say, "I'm a Medic ninja. To be more specific, a Combat Medic." He put his hands in his pockets.

"Just stick by me in case danger comes your way. I've been trained for battlefield injuries, but if you're too far from me, then there might not be anything I can do for you." With that, he would start to walk away, in the direction of Port Cirrus. Kenji would follow close by, keeping a watch out for anything out of place as they are traveling. Yasu sure hoped that this would be a quiet journey, but he gritted his teeth as he would hear Kenji speak up in a loud voice.

"So tell me Kazan!" He would exclaim, "You look like a guy who can hold their drink! You thinking of joining in the festivities and see if you can out drink me?" It would almost seem as if Kenji was sizing Kazan up, much like when someone sees their rival that they have come to respect. However, before Kazan would be able to get a response out, a couple of things would happen.

One. Further down the road one could see a broken-down merchant cart, with a man waving his hands trying to get the attention of the group. To Hon, it just seems as if this cart was attacked by bandits, the merchant waving his hands, looked a little rough around the edges, but seem to be in good health. To Kazan, he would notice that there were no horses, that could have carried the cart, much less any actual blood to suggest the horses were attacked to stop the cart. That, and he would see the glint of steel hidden so finely underneath the 'merchants' clothing. "Hail! Good people! Can I borrow your time to help a humble merchant out?"

(Starting off slow. I will make all my rolls in Bot-fun channel on discord.)
(That said, Hon. looks like rng is already not with you bud.)

Kenji would react to the presence of Atlas, before the third and final member of the group made a sudden apperance. A normal eye would have missed it, but not Kazan's due to his highly coveted three tomoed scarlet red sharingan. With a slight grin, he immediately recognized this man as an elite individual of the villages Anbu force. With his introduction, Akira nodded while simultaneously glancing at the apparent medical ninja within the group. Kazan noticed this guys quick scoff, statement, and how he followed by shoving his hands into his pockets. Kazan's first thought. "This guys got an ego". Crossing his arms, and looking at Byakko, Kazan immediately began to plan how they'd travel. Though, the Medical Ninja issuing an order to Kenji was unexpected, at least Kazan was in agreement that their client should stay by his side. After all, Kazan wasn't a healer and he didn't expect an Anbu to be either.

As soon as the medic and the client began to walk, Kazan hoped on top of Atlas once again. "Byakko, was it? During our travel, would you mind take a rear position behind Kenji and the medic? From there, you'd be the first line of defense if we were ambushed from behind, while having a perfect view of any potential danger from our sides. I'll lead the path with my partner Atlas and serve as a first line of defense for anything ahead." He stated, as he nudged Atlas with his heels to catch up to the medic and Kenji. "Watch it Kazan, I'm not a horse!" He'd say, before letting loose an angry roar.

Catching up to them, Kazan would glance over towards the Medic and give a stern look, followed by a nod as a sign of acknowledgement for his good judgement towards keeping Kenji close by. Before Atlas and Kazan could pass, however; Kenji would ask Kazan a question directly. Would he drink and join in the festivities? No. But for the sake of being polite, he'd make some brief small talk. "Perhaps, if they had honey mead." He said with a slight chuckle. A drinking champion like Kenji would probably know what kind of drink mead was and where it haled from. With those words, Atlas sped up a little for him and Kazan to assume a frontal position due to the fact there was something up ahead.

There was a broken down cart up ahead, with a man waving his hands in an attempt to get the groups attention. "Be on alert." He'd say, loud enough for everyone in the part to hear him. As they got closer, the first thing Kazan would notice was that there weren't any horses or signs of a struggle. Lastly, his Sharingan would catch the smallest glint of steel shinning from underneath a part of the mans clothing. "Hail! Good people! Can I borrow your time to help a humble merchant out?" The man would shout towards them. Kazan's response would be swift and decisive, while he simultaneously pulled divine glaive off his shoulders, and pointed the bladed end at the man. "No, we're busy." He'd say, quickly followed by an explanation for his actions. "I've already noticed the glint of steel carelessly hidden beneath your clothing. Please, be on your way." He'd state with an authoritative tone of voice.

At that moment, Kazan's expression turned into an aggressive one. If an escort was needed, it was obvious they were be some sort of danger along the ways. Tactics such as a merchant in need were far from cleaver, and perhaps even predictable. Still, even if this man were an honest to goodness merchant, Kazan and the others were on a mission. This 'merchants' needs meant nothing to him, as it should mean nothing to the rest of the group.
