Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kami no Yama

In the southern portion of Solum de Asphodelus, sits the levitating island of Kami no Yama. A paradise above the clouds, the land was legally acquired by the Titan corporation for their leaders vision of how the future would work.

It stands as a free state amongst the rest of lightning who owe their allegiance to the Shogun.

Tengoku no Tobira

The main hub of civilization, Tengoku is the capitol of Kami no Yama. The corporation spared no expense in the creation of it's perfect city, or at least what they hope to become the perfect city. It has what every good town or metropolis might need. Restaurants, housing, services, and most importantly, land for expansion and development. It's a venerable smorgasbord for entrepreneurs with the imagination and drive to make their hopes and aspirations a reality. But like with most new cities, there are growing pains and areas where improvements can be made. It's up to the people of Tengoku to see to that, however.

See, the Titan Corporation tries to remain as unseen and un-involved as possible. Outside of advertising and running the vessels that give access to the island, they have very little to do with the way things are ran. Instead, the city is run by guilds and the laws that the guilds set forth. Each Guild has a leader, and all the leaders come together to form the Committee. The committee decides the laws and regulations of Tengoku, and then the corporations private military enforces those laws.

For the most part, the guilds are in good standing with each other. The committee rarely makes new laws unless some event brings a sudden need for one and most live their lives without the worry of some Kage or Shogun to call them on their fealty.

There are several guilds located in Tengoku.

The Farmers Guild: Pretty self explanatory. The farmers guild looks out for the many farmers who make life in Tengoku possible. Almost all of the food in the city is produced by those within the guild.

The People's Guild: This guild is special in that it's not really a coalition surrounding a particular market. The people's guild looks out for the interests of the citizens who don't necessarily fit into the other guilds. The elderly who may not have a profession, or the youngster who may be too young to have a voice. They look out for the general well being of the populace.

The Merchant Guild: Most people in Tengoku are apart of the merchant's guild in some way, shape or form. The merchant guild looks out for the interests of those who run and manage businesses in Tengoku.

The Science Guild: The main export of Tengoku is technology and research, as such there is a guild dedicated to this somewhat controversial of study. As there is no proper government oversight or any real ethics committee, some extremes can occur.
Naturally, there are other minor guilds that are located in Tengoku, but these are some of the major ones.

Environment

If we split up the island like a compass, there are four quadrants based on directional points. The north eastern part of the island is where Tengoku is located and is where most people live on Kami no Yama. A general plain-like region, there are some low hills to the south followed by miles of an endless see of grass.

In the north-western part of the island, lies a forest of many tall trees, along with a small spring somewhere hidden inside. Some individuals where prefer a more isolated life have taken refuge in the trees, ready to face nature and live on their own. It's said that a wolf man makes this place his home, tearing apart any who enter his territory. Though most in Tengoku dismiss this tale.

In the south west, lies an ancient fortress long abandoned, hidden amongst a small set of mountainous terrain. The area was often used as a base from ruffians who needed a place to stay until the Lightning Army inevitably would come to kick them out. Some say it's cursed, others claim there is hidden treasure; as is often the case with old ruins.

To the far south of Tengoku, in the south eastern quadrant is where the mountains and the plains come together. Hills form, terrain is rough, and many an ankle has been twisted by the hidden rocks in the sea of grass.
