Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

1: Mechanized Weapon
Nozomi sent her Anti-Material Rifle to the gunsmith within Kumogakure for a few additional upgrades. Inside of the weapon, she had a compartment build in with two slots, both used as a means to project traps onto the ground so targets would be surprised with either a Hidden Launcher or a vial of acid at their feet. She took this weapon out to the range and with a couple clicks, her rifle slightly changed configurations and with a pull of the trigger, a small item flew out of it. She put the weapon down and formed a few handseals to create a clone. She commanded the clone to stand in front of the Hidden Launcher. After a few moments, Nozomi picked up her weapon and the Hidden Launcher activated, causing a sharp metal projectile to be launched directly at the clone's throat, instantly causing it to fade away. With a nod, she reconfigured her weapon back to it's standard mode.

2: Heavy Handed
After configuring her weapon back into firing mode, she set up the firing range to have multiple targets on the field. She swapped the magazine out to something a bit larger. She took aim at one of the targets before a buzzer went off, summoning up to 10 others. She lifted her head for a moment to get a quick glance at the area and shot a single shot, hitting the first target. She moved the bolt back and forth and quickly moved to the next and continued until all 11 targets were hit directly hit. Clearing her throat, she stepped back, reloaded her weapon, and watched as the cardboard cut-outs fell flat upon the ground.

3: Technical Pacifist
The next round of training would be disarming training. The objective, this time, was a high-value target having gone rogue and must be brought in at all costs. Two dummies were brought out, one being the high value target holding a knife while the other was some hostage. Nozomi looked down the scope of her rifle and aimed it at the dummy's head for a moment before bringing her reticle down to the target's hand. She clearly saw the knife in it's hand. The problem she ran across now was to hit it correctly, so the bullet wouldn't ricochet and hurt the hostage, nor the high value target. Without taking too much time to think, she pulled the trigger, hitting just the knife and caused the weapon to fly out of it's hands and onto the ground with an ear-ringing 'cling' sound.

4: Weapon Mastery – Projectile
The shooting range was opened up for more devastating shots. Now was the time for her to try out some of her special equipment with the rifle. Once the shooting range opened up, Nozomi pulled the bolt back and loaded in a sub-sonic round. She took sight of a far-away target, aiming center mass and pulled the trigger. All that was heard was the click of the trigger. The bullet, itself didn't make a noise until it collided with the target. It was as quiet as a mouse. She loaded in another round, one with a warning label upon it. She took aim at the same target and loaded in a bit of chakra into the Anti-Material Rifle and pulled the trigger. A circle appeared at the muzzle before releasing a white-hot projectile that struck the target, exploding upon impact. She nodded her head, satisfied with these special ammunition rounds.

5: Called Shot
She now had to perform a similar exercise to the disarming exercise. This time, she had to hit a single target in specific locations several times within the span of a minute. She loaded in a new magazine and took aim at the target. The target was a strange gel-base. A buzzer rang and she took 2 shots into the target's head, then put a couple into each of the arms and 2 into the neck. She reloaded and shot 2 into each of the legs and then started to aim at the more difficult parts, the hands and feet. She took a couple shots, shooting one in the middle finger, blowing it off, before placing the rest where they belonged. “Mind giving me something a bit more challenging?” she asked.

6: Defensive Technique
In this portion, she would perform outside with just her needles, which she called 'Spring and Autumn'. This is part of the CQC portion of the exercise. Her opponent will be a heavily armored Uchiha, capable of taking multiple blows due to their massive armor. Before the buzzer rang, the Uchiha started to swing at her with a heavy assault. She had troubles dodging the man and had to resort to deflecting his attacks and just taking the blows. She crossed her needles together and took on a defensive posture. The armored Uchiha punched at Nozomi only for her to block with her needles and threw the one in her left hand at the Uchiha's leg, impaling it into the armor but completely missing the Uchiha's flesh. She was able to deflect his assault, but she's going to need to do a bit more than this!

7: Stalker
Nozomi took a quick look around and noticed that there was quite a bit of cover. She threw together some handseals to form a giant ball of light, used to blind the Uchiha. Once the light faded and the Uchiha was able to see again, Nozomi was nowhere to be found. Nozomi used this opportunity to remain hidden and throw some random senbon needles at the Uchiha only to move moments after. Feeling the pressure of the needles from behind caused the Uchiha to turn and look back. Another set of needles hit the uchiha on the neck, prompting the armored Uchiha to turn in that direction. Due to how dangerous those needles, in particular, were, the Uchiha yanked those out and let them land on the floor.
“Stop all this hiding crap, Nozomi! We're here for CQC training, not stealth!”

8: Willpower
Nozomi came out of hiding only for the Uchiha's eyes to start spinning. It was then that Nozomi found herself in a field of flowers with children laying in the flowers. Their blood, her own blood, and the blood of her sister turned the colorful patch of flowers into a crimson sea. Her heartrate elevated for a moment as she looked around. Something about this place wasn't right. No, her sister was already dead, so this had to be a genjutsu! Shaking out of it, she quickly formed handseals and cancelled the genjutsu.
“That was a dirty tactic. Fine, if you want to play that way.”

9: Initiative
Nozomi wasn't too pleased at the silly tricks played by the Uchiha. She stood there and, almost as if it instantly happened, her weapon had changed to that of the Anti-Material rifle. It changed in less than a frame-of-a-second before she raised her rifle up and started to shoot warning-shots, intentionally missing the Uchiha. Knowing that their armor can't absorb that, they dove out of the way from every shot. “Hey, hey, hey! Sorry! I didn't think you'd act that way! You should've just stayed put,” the Uchiha said before Nozomi appeared directly in front of him, placing the barrel of the anti-material rifle directly at the man's face. She made a gunshot sound with her mouth and replicated a grossly under-exaggerated recoil from the rifle.

10: Strategist
The Uchiha grit his teeth and stood up with his hands up. “Okay, sure, whatever. You win this time, Nozomi,” he said before Nozomi lowered her Anti-Material Rifle, resheathing it behind her back. She let out a sigh. The sound of something moving entered her ear before a sword impaled her. She stayed in this position for a brief moment before she was replaced by a wooden log. Upon this log was a burning sheet of paper with a strange liquid upon it. After a brief moment, the paper exploded, giving off a foul-odored gas. The explosion caused the Uchiha's clone to poof and the gas started to take over the Uchiha, causing him to start gagging on it.
“Seriously? A poison AND an exploding tag on a kawarimi? You're such an asshole, Nozomi!”

11: Weapon Mastery – Thrown
”Well, I did learn that from the best. I mean, a clone that would've actually killed me? Let's be real here,” she stated before pulling out Spring and Autumn, throwing 3 needles in quick succession, one going into the Uchiha's armored hand, one going into the Uchiha's armored leg, and the other going into the Uchiha's armored arm; all on the same side. She did this a couple more times before standing in front of the downed Uchiha. “Next time, I'll aim those at your throat.” she said before readjusting her hat upon her head.

12: Fearless
The Uchiha caught eye-contact with Nozomi before she saw a Grim Reaper appearing before her. She turned to look towards the Uchiha for a moment and began to laugh at the Reaper's Gaze genjutsu. While she could see the Grim Reaper appearing before her, it did nothing to her and it didn't phase her in the slightest. “Nice try, douchebag. I've seen worse in my life. I think we should call it a day,” she said as she reached out and grabbed the Uchiha by the hand wrist and pulled him up. He tried to exert pressure as he stood up and Nozomi just stared at him. “That won't work either.” With a great big sigh, the Uchiha slouched his shoulders and just followed Nozomi back to base.

Nozomi's signature weapon that she created for herself as a weapon used for her vengeance upon the man that destroyed her life. This weapon fires rounds equivalent to the .959 rifle that is capable of melting through armor, walls, and buildings, and even the thickest steel. This weapon is extremely destructive and upon being fired creates the sound of a thunderclap; the reason behind her moniker of "Queen of Lightning". Not only is she capable of exchanging different ammunition with this weapon, but she is also capable of launching traps with this weapon. She is ALWAYS seen with this weapon, even taking it with her to the bathroom and to the hotsprings.

Fashioned similarly to the old-west manga that Nozomi reads, she fashioned this weapon to be a six-round revolver that uses .44 calibur rounds. Nozomi became extremely proficient with the draw of this weapon that she is capable of unleashing a hail of bullets in the time it takes some people to blink. Just holding this weapon makes her feel like a bad-ass, wanting to speak in an accent.

A massive shoulder-mountain cannon that is capable of shooting standard, metallic ordinance. This weapon is capable of firing an 8.8 cm Flak ammo which explodes upon reaching a certain distance, changing from a massive ball of iron into smaller, fragmented pellets. The sound and shockwave from this weapon is capable of shattering windows just by being in close proximity.

A sword that manifested itself upon finding a pair of earrings inside of one of the inn-rooms in Kumogakure. This sword harnesses immense power, capable of beckoning 'The World Devourer'. The emblem shifts between a red eye with feline-like slit to a strange device displaying a red monstrosity with cryptic language surrounding it. This blade also has the power to magnify Nozomi's combat abilities, using it like she would as an extension of her hands.

General Abilities
Gigantic - General Contract Ability
Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it.

Effect:
- The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.
Dread Aura - General Contract Ability
There are some contracts that over time, develop innate aura of danger that seems to speak with other creature's basic instincts. Someone who's will wavers in front of such a beast can find it difficult to fight rather than take flight, or even lock up in fear at the mere sight of such a terrifying presence.

Effect:
- The contract makes a Genjutsu check against all in battle in the start of each round; targets failing to fully resist this effect are inflicted with Fear, and their attacks targeting the contract have a 15% chance of failing. A victim may only have two moves fail due to this per round, and has a -3 penalty to the initial check if their current HP is lower than the contracts.
Ancient Wisdom - General Contract Ability
While many contracts are reclusive and rarely show themselves to the outside world, do not make the mistake of assuming them to be unworldly; many contract beasts live lives far longer than humans, and with this age comes experience. Experience that can benefit those who heed its advice.

Effect:
- While the contract is present in battle, its allies gain a bonus based on its custom class 'High' stat(s); this bonus is +1 Acc/Dodge/DC/Save and +5% Damage dealt with it. These bonuses do not apply towards caps.
- Example; the contract with this ability having Nin Acc and Gen DC in high would grant its allies +1 to Nin Acc/Nin Dodge/Gen DC/Gen Save, and +5% Ninjutsu/Genjutsu damage.

Once the light faded and the Uchiha was able to see again, Nozomi was nowhere to be found. Nozomi used this opportunity to remain hidden and throw some random senbon needles at the Uchiha only to move moments after. Feeling the pressure of the needles from behind caused the Uchiha to turn and look back. Another set of needles hit the uchiha on the neck, prompting the armored Uchiha to turn in that direction. Due to how dangerous those needles, in particular, were, the Uchiha yanked those out and let them land on the floor.

Nozomi came out of hiding only for the Uchiha's eyes to start spinning. It was then that Nozomi found herself in a field of flowers with children laying in the flowers. Their blood, her own blood, and the blood of her sister turned the colorful patch of flowers into a crimson sea. Her heartrate elevated for a moment as she looked around. Something about this place wasn't right. No, her sister was already dead, so this had to be a genjutsu! Shaking out of it, she quickly formed handseals and cancelled the genjutsu.

Nozomi wasn't too pleased at the silly tricks played by the Uchiha. She stood there and, almost as if it instantly happened, her weapon had changed to that of the Anti-Material rifle. It changed in less than a frame-of-a-second before she raised her rifle up and started to shoot warning-shots, intentionally missing the Uchiha. Knowing that their armor can't absorb that, they dove out of the way from every shot. “Hey, hey, hey! Sorry! I didn't think you'd act that way! You should've just stayed put,” the Uchiha said before Nozomi appeared directly in front of him, placing the barrel of the anti-material rifle directly at the man's face. She made a gunshot sound with her mouth and replicated a grossly under-exaggerated recoil from the rifle.

The Uchiha grit his teeth and stood up with his hands up. “Okay, sure, whatever. You win this time, Nozomi,” he said before Nozomi lowered her Anti-Material Rifle, resheathing it behind her back. She let out a sigh. The sound of something moving entered her ear before a sword impaled her. She stayed in this position for a brief moment before she was replaced by a wooden log. Upon this log was a burning sheet of paper with a strange liquid upon it. After a brief moment, the paper exploded, giving off a foul-odored gas. The explosion caused the Uchiha's clone to poof and the gas started to take over the Uchiha, causing him to start gagging on it.

The Uchiha caught eye-contact with Nozomi before she saw a Grim Reaper appearing before her. She turned to look towards the Uchiha for a moment and began to laugh at the Reaper's Gaze genjutsu. While she could see the Grim Reaper appearing before her, it did nothing to her and it didn't phase her in the slightest. “Nice try, douchebag. I've seen worse in my life. I think we should call it a day,” she said as she reached out and grabbed the Uchiha by the hand wrist and pulled him up. He tried to exert pressure as he stood up and Nozomi just stared at him. “That won't work either.” With a great big sigh, the Uchiha slouched his shoulders and just followed Nozomi back to base.

Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it. - The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.

There are some contracts that over time, develop innate aura of danger that seems to speak with other creature's basic instincts. Someone who's will wavers in front of such a beast can find it difficult to fight rather than take flight, or even lock up in fear at the mere sight of such a terrifying presence.[lb2][/lb2]

- The contract makes a Genjutsu check against all in battle in the start of each round; targets failing to fully resist this effect are inflicted with Fear, and their attacks targeting the contract have a 15% chance of failing. This weapon is extremely destructive and upon being fired creates the sound of a thunderclap; the reason behind her moniker of "Queen of Lightning". Not only is she capable of exchanging different ammunition with this weapon, but she is also capable of launching traps with this weapon. Fashioned similarly to the old-west manga that Nozomi reads, she fashioned this weapon to be a six-round revolver that uses .44 calibur rounds. Nozomi became extremely proficient with the draw of this weapon that she is capable of unleashing a hail of bullets in the time it takes some people to blink. Just holding this weapon makes her feel like a bad-ass, wanting to speak in an accent.[lb][/lb]

Nozomi was in a fire-fight against a group of Anit-Cloud insurgents, ducking down behind cover. She clicked the release on her Trap launcher and aimed her weapon upwards to launch her trap over the enemy barrier only for the trap to just fall to the ground in front of her. She cursed lightly as the trapping mechanism upon her anti-material rifle broke. She started to count how much ammo she had left and things started to become more dire by the moment. A low grumbling could be heard as she tried to figure out how to get out of this sticky situation. A vibrating could be felt upon her hip as she turned to look down towards the blade at her hip. Query. It seemed that Anna Rose wanted to come out. Nodding her head, she slowly removed the sword from it's scabbard and quickly stabbed it into the ground.

"Now's your chance to shine, Anna Rose! Take some of my power with you!" she shouted out as she cut her thumb upon the blade, letting her blood fall to the ground. As soon as her blood fell onto the ground, the summoning seal appeared and the ground began to rumble. "Kill them all, Anna Rose!!" she shouted out as a massive creature burst from the ground directly under the insurgents, taking two of them directly into the massive creature's mouth. "Thought you'd never ask!" Anna Rose responded before letting out a loud roar. After a bloody fight, Nozomi peaked out over her bunker to see Anna Rose gagging and spitting out the blood from the people she killed.

"You humans are foul tasting. Blegh! Ugh!" Anna Rose said while showing a face of disgust.

"You really saved my neck back there, Anna Rose," Nozomi said gratefully.

"Don't mention it. It gets me out of that boring dimension and gives me an excuse to, like, eat some cow," Anna Rose said, trying to claw at her tongue, but her arms were too stubby -- disallowing her from being able to perform that action.

"I'll get you 5 cows for saving my ass. And I'll cook it to perfection, too!" Nozomi said in excitement. It was horrifying to see Anna Rose eat anything, but she figured that she ought to pay her back for saving her.

Anna Rose paused her showing of disgust and gave Nozomi a confused look. She was counting in her head. Nozomi quickly held up five fingers only for Anna Rose to look at her claws and attempted to match her claws with Nozomi's fingers. After coming to this realization, her eyes lit up and she bounced up and down, shaking the earth underfoot. "Oh! Yes yes!
That's more than I've ever eaten at one time. Let's go, human!
" she said before stomping off towards where she normally waited for the meat. Moving towards the impaled blade, Nozomi pulled it out and resheathed it. She gained some new respect for her Contract Summon and this would bring the duo closer to one another.

This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it. - The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.
Dread Aura - General Contract Ability[lb][/lb]
There are some contracts that over time, develop innate aura of danger that seems to speak with other creature's basic instincts. Someone who's will wavers in front of such a beast can find it difficult to fight rather than take flight, or even lock up in fear at the mere sight of such a terrifying presence.[lb2][/lb2]

- The contract makes a Genjutsu check against all in battle in the start of each round; targets failing to fully resist this effect are inflicted with Fear, and their attacks targeting the contract have a 15% chance of failing. A victim may only have two moves fail due to this per round, and has a -3 penalty to the initial check if their current HP is lower than the contracts.

Nozomi was in a fire-fight against a group of Anit-Cloud insurgents, ducking down behind cover. She clicked the release on her Trap launcher and aimed her weapon upwards to launch her trap over the enemy barrier only for the trap to just fall to the ground in front of her. She cursed lightly as the trapping mechanism upon her anti-material rifle broke. She started to count how much ammo she had left and things started to become more dire by the moment. A low grumbling could be heard as she tried to figure out how to get out of this sticky situation. A vibrating could be felt upon her hip as she turned to look down towards the blade at her hip. Query. It seemed that Anna Rose wanted to come out. Nodding her head, she slowly removed the sword from it's scabbard and quickly stabbed it into the ground.

"Now's your chance to shine, Anna Rose! Take some of my power with you!" she shouted out as she cut her thumb upon the blade, letting her blood fall to the ground. As soon as her blood fell onto the ground, the summoning seal appeared and the ground began to rumble. "Kill them all, Anna Rose!!" she shouted out as a massive creature burst from the ground directly under the insurgents, taking two of them directly into the massive creature's mouth. "Thought you'd never ask!" Anna Rose responded before letting out a loud roar. After a bloody fight, Nozomi peaked out over her bunker to see Anna Rose gagging and spitting out the blood from the people she killed.

"You humans are foul tasting. Blegh! Ugh!" Anna Rose said while showing a face of disgust.

"You really saved my neck back there, Anna Rose," Nozomi said gratefully.

"Don't mention it. It gets me out of that boring dimension and gives me an excuse to, like, eat some cow," Anna Rose said, trying to claw at her tongue, but her arms were too stubby -- disallowing her from being able to perform that action.

"I'll get you 5 cows for saving my ass. And I'll cook it to perfection, too!" Nozomi said in excitement. It was horrifying to see Anna Rose eat anything, but she figured that she ought to pay her back for saving her.

Anna Rose paused her showing of disgust and gave Nozomi a confused look. She was counting in her head. Nozomi quickly held up five fingers only for Anna Rose to look at her claws and attempted to match her claws with Nozomi's fingers. After coming to this realization, her eyes lit up and she bounced up and down, shaking the earth underfoot. "Oh! Yes yes!
That's more than I've ever eaten at one time. Let's go, human!
" she said before stomping off towards where she normally waited for the meat. Moving towards the impaled blade, Nozomi pulled it out and resheathed it. She gained some new respect for her Contract Summon and this would bring the duo closer to one another.

This weapon fires rounds equivalent to the .959 rifle that is capable of melting through armor, walls, and buildings, and even the thickest steel. This weapon is extremely destructive and upon being fired creates the sound of a thunderclap; the reason behind her moniker of "Queen of Lightning". Not only is she capable of exchanging different ammunition with this weapon, but she is also capable of launching traps with this weapon. She is ALWAYS seen with this weapon, even taking it with her to the bathroom and to the hotsprings. [lb][/lb]

Nozomi became extremely proficient with the draw of this weapon that she is capable of unleashing a hail of bullets in the time it takes some people to blink. ::EXALTED HOLY WEAPON::
A divine spear given to Nozomi upon defeating death after forming a contract with a demon residing within a Dragon Statue. This spear appears to be 2 spears twisted in an impossible manner to create a single, devastating weapon capable of stabbing through even the greatest of defenses or cutting down all foes in a terrifying fashion. The weapon takes the shape of a tapered shield-like design for the blade of the spear with the handle appearing to create a double-helix all the way down the length of the shaft. The weapon radiates with a strange light, pulsating white light softly with a subtle sound as if holy hymns were resonating from the weapon, itself.

Technical Pacifist
With her inability to utilize range weapons effectively, due to losing an eye, she couldn't properly make assessments with precision aiming. This translates to her being unable to shoot weapons from another person's hands. While depth perception is still an issue while using a more melee-focused weapon, it isn't something she would be worried about performing with the massive Spear of Destiny in her hands. The best way for her to disarm someone is to literally dis-arm someone by lopping someone's arm off rather than slapping a weapon away. With the Spear of Destiny demanding the blood of it's enemies, it would be counter-intuitive for her to knock a weapon away when she could just maim whomever is the trouble-maker.

Weapon Mastery -- Projectile
She lost an eye, making depth perception extremely difficult to gauge. Due to this, she had to move away from using her iconic rifle to using the holy weapon given to her by a demon. It was the fact that she abandoned this weapon type and the fact that she would miss consistently, due to being unable to accurately judge distances, doesn't help her case any. She counted her special ammunition and threw them all into their own separate bins along with the regular munitions used by her weapons. She had no more use for these so she would have to donate them to the armory.

Called Shot
After taking control of the Spear of Destiny, her personality changed and thus her ideas of combat have also changed. A big side-effect from fighting on the backlines to now being a front-line fighter. While her fighting style, while fighting in the backline had everything to do with precision and disabling, she no longer has that crutch to rely on. She wasn't extremely skilled with close quarters combat, but when she was forced to do so she fought aggressively! Throwing out her ranged conventions of long-range disabling out the window in favor of damage and destruction.

Defensive Technique
Having fought in the backlines for so long made her twitchy with the need to 'watch her six' while in combat. She was a sitting-duck from far-away and having a defensive posture was extremely important to her survival. However, due to the change in fighting style, she fights more reckless on the battlefield desiring more of an offensive presence over a defensive presence. She took on the philosophy that a great offense is a good defense. No need to protect yourself, defensively, if you already crushed your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women.

Stalker
Nozomi's holy aura makes her grossly incandescent making stealth extremely difficult to perform. Imagine the sun hiding behind a light-pole. Sure, you can block the actual body of the sun, itself, but you won't be able to block off the light that it gave off. Regardless of all of the sneaky and stealthy shinobi trickery she performs, she is just TOO DAMN BRIGHT to be effective at hiding herself. That and her armor was pretty loud when she moves making any silent moving near impossible to perform. The life of a Paladin isn't a life of guile.

Strategist
Strategy was also something that is no longer an option for Nozomi. Something about wielding the Spear of Destiny gets her amped up and thinking about just the best ways to slash and destroy her enemy. There is no real plan, there is no real strategy in what she does. Heal the party? Check. Deal damage to the healer? Check. Don't fall for taunts by the tank? Check! There is an AoE coming? Gotta move out of the way. She uses instincts more while fighting in-close than she uses her brains or thinking 30 moves ahead.

Weapon Mastery -- Thrown
She lost her dominant eye which caused her to lose depth perception. Thrown weapons suffer the worst when it comes to this as she needed to figure out the effects of gravity upon her weapon if used in a long-range scenario. Being unable to quickly judge distances made it extremely hard to do this, even if she could just pelt things in a higher volume. Accuracy by volume is also considered a type of accuracy, but she'd rather not waste time or effort throwing weapons that would only miss constantly. If they can't hit the mark consistently and hit the mark hard, there is no use for her to use this weapon type.

Fearless
She was, once upon a time, a fearless woman who didn't fear death. She still is but now she relies on the Spear of Destiny giving her courage and conviction instead of her inability to feel a primordial emotion like terror. Her fearlessness now comes with the baggage of conviction and purpose which makes everything MUCH more complicated than simply having no fear of death. Her purpose is her armor and her conviction is her shield. Her fearlessness prior came from her feeling like she didn't have much to live for but now that she was given a reason to live, as short as that may be now, she now lives without fear. A new reason to live.

Shinobi 101: Projectile Taijutsu uses Melee Acc [NO RP NEEDED]
Healing Factor
The new strength, equivalent to the power of the sun, was granted to her from the little white fluffy demon. Upon taking damage, she feels a burning sensation in her body with light protruding from her wounds. The heat from the burning sensation is like being 'kissed by the sun' as her wounds cauterized themselves, returning her to fighting form. While this might be considered painful for Nozomi, the pain of dying was worse so she dealt with the pain and pushed forward. As if she was blessed by the sun, her wounds heal slowly over time granting her, what most people, would consider immortality.

Weapon Mastery -- Piercing
Friendship ended with projectiles.
Now piercing is best friend.

An endless meme known throughout the generations when something (or someone) treats you better. In this case, due to her inability to see out of her scope and being given the Spear of Destiny, she now uses the Spear of Destiny (which is a piercing type weapon) more predominantly than she does her anti-material rifle. Being unable to look down the scope of a sniper rifle made things extremely difficult to use properly. While she could still throw weapons with relatively decent accuracy, she was unable to use it to great effect; not as effective as she was at poking things with the Spear of Destiny now.

Duelist
As a sniper, she would have never dreamed of fighting someone up-close and personal. However, her meta had shifted causing her to close the gap with her opponents. She would pick and choose her fights wisely, declaring a single target as her objective; which was a trait that carried over from being a one-track minded assassin. She would remain single-track-minded on killing her mark that she carried that over as an assassin of Merces Letifer. Using this mindset, she would focus on a single target and a single target only. She would aim for that target's destruction before moving on to the next target of her holy wrath.

Jutsu Mastery
Now that Ninjutsu was back on the menu, she needed a way to ensure her ability to use ninjutsu and use it efficiently. The Paladin/Valkyrie powers bequeathed to her gave her a natural affinity to Ninjutsu. If she wsan't capable of using Ninjutsu and using it properly, she would be in quite the pickle and wouldn't be optimizing her combat capabilities. By focusing her ability to control chakra, she devised a way to spend less and less from her already dwindling supply of chakra. While she had pills to help augment her lost chakra, it never hurt to keep costs to a minimum.

In the presence of light, the darkness has nowhere to hide. It is this philosophy that Nozomi started to embrace. She already gave off a radiant light due to being grossly incandescent which illuminates an area making it difficult for those in stealth to pull off any shenanigans. Having been one to crawl around in the darkness, using it for cover, she knew that she needed a way to combat it if she were to stay alive. The sun was her all-seeing eye and she used the all-seeing eye to great effect, using it to sus out savages from the shadows and into the beautiful and glorious light.

What is a paladin or valkyrie without their armor? While Nozomi had worn armor before, she didn't wear the same amount as she does now. Armor didn't seem to hinder her movement as much and is absolutely vital to keeping her protected while fighting on the front lines. Openings are now more difficult to find in her attack patterns and her armor bounced off all other attacks. She used it to great effect to protect her entire body as opposed to the part of her chest that was most exposed while staring down the scope of a rifle.

Combat Medic
As combat heated up, she needed a way to remain in the battle even if it cost her valuable chakra. She quickly reacted to life-threatening injuries by performing on-the-spot medical treatment upon herself or upon a friendly target. She devised a way to keep a Medical Jutsu prepared and ready to use when the time came. If either she or one of her teammates, Maru most likely, were to take a devastating wound, she'd quickly follow-up with a medical jutsu to keep them up and running in battle. Chakra be damned. Her life and the life of her allies were more important!

Paramedic
Her resolve made her more prone to caring about the people of her village now than ever before and the need to help them if they are in danger was strong. Unlike her link with Maru, she can't quite tell if others are in pain or in danger. She didn't have that kind of telepathic link to them like she does with her teammates like Maru. However, once called into battle, she hustles like crazy to save those that are in danger of dying and acts as their shield. Her job, at that point, is to protect them from harm and keep them from dying.

Not only is she capable of exchanging different ammunition with this weapon, but she is also capable of launching traps with this weapon. Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it. - The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.
Dread Aura - General Contract Ability[lb][/lb]
There are some contracts that over time, develop innate aura of danger that seems to speak with other creature's basic instincts. Someone who's will wavers in front of such a beast can find it difficult to fight rather than take flight, or even lock up in fear at the mere sight of such a terrifying presence.[lb2][/lb2]

- The contract makes a Genjutsu check against all in battle in the start of each round; targets failing to fully resist this effect are inflicted with Fear, and their attacks targeting the contract have a 15% chance of failing. A victim may only have two moves fail due to this per round, and has a -3 penalty to the initial check if their current HP is lower than the contracts.

A divine spear given to Nozomi upon defeating death after forming a contract with a demon residing within a Dragon Statue. This spear appears to be 2 spears twisted in an impossible manner to create a single, devastating weapon capable of stabbing through even the greatest of defenses or cutting down all foes in a terrifying fashion. The weapon takes the shape of a tapered shield-like design for the blade of the spear with the handle appearing to create a double-helix all the way down the length of the shaft. The weapon radiates with a strange light, pulsating white light softly with a subtle sound as if holy hymns were resonating from the weapon, itself.

Technical Pacifist
With her inability to utilize range weapons effectively, due to losing an eye, she couldn't properly make assessments with precision aiming. This translates to her being unable to shoot weapons from another person's hands. While depth perception is still an issue while using a more melee-focused weapon, it isn't something she would be worried about performing with the massive Spear of Destiny in her hands. The best way for her to disarm someone is to literally dis-arm someone by lopping someone's arm off rather than slapping a weapon away. With the Spear of Destiny demanding the blood of it's enemies, it would be counter-intuitive for her to knock a weapon away when she could just maim whomever is the trouble-maker.

Weapon Mastery -- Projectile
She lost an eye, making depth perception extremely difficult to gauge. Due to this, she had to move away from using her iconic rifle to using the holy weapon given to her by a demon. It was the fact that she abandoned this weapon type and the fact that she would miss consistently, due to being unable to accurately judge distances, doesn't help her case any. She counted her special ammunition and threw them all into their own separate bins along with the regular munitions used by her weapons. She had no more use for these so she would have to donate them to the armory.

Called Shot
After taking control of the Spear of Destiny, her personality changed and thus her ideas of combat have also changed. A big side-effect from fighting on the backlines to now being a front-line fighter. While her fighting style, while fighting in the backline had everything to do with precision and disabling, she no longer has that crutch to rely on. She wasn't extremely skilled with close quarters combat, but when she was forced to do so she fought aggressively! Throwing out her ranged conventions of long-range disabling out the window in favor of damage and destruction.

Defensive Technique
Having fought in the backlines for so long made her twitchy with the need to 'watch her six' while in combat. She was a sitting-duck from far-away and having a defensive posture was extremely important to her survival. However, due to the change in fighting style, she fights more reckless on the battlefield desiring more of an offensive presence over a defensive presence. She took on the philosophy that a great offense is a good defense. No need to protect yourself, defensively, if you already crushed your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women.

Stalker
Nozomi's holy aura makes her grossly incandescent making stealth extremely difficult to perform. Imagine the sun hiding behind a light-pole. Sure, you can block the actual body of the sun, itself, but you won't be able to block off the light that it gave off. Regardless of all of the sneaky and stealthy shinobi trickery she performs, she is just TOO DAMN BRIGHT to be effective at hiding herself. That and her armor was pretty loud when she moves making any silent moving near impossible to perform. The life of a Paladin isn't a life of guile.

Strategist
Strategy was also something that is no longer an option for Nozomi. Something about wielding the Spear of Destiny gets her amped up and thinking about just the best ways to slash and destroy her enemy. There is no real plan, there is no real strategy in what she does. Heal the party? Check. Deal damage to the healer? Check. Don't fall for taunts by the tank? Check! There is an AoE coming? Gotta move out of the way. She uses instincts more while fighting in-close than she uses her brains or thinking 30 moves ahead.

Weapon Mastery -- Thrown
She lost her dominant eye which caused her to lose depth perception. Thrown weapons suffer the worst when it comes to this as she needed to figure out the effects of gravity upon her weapon if used in a long-range scenario. Being unable to quickly judge distances made it extremely hard to do this, even if she could just pelt things in a higher volume. Accuracy by volume is also considered a type of accuracy, but she'd rather not waste time or effort throwing weapons that would only miss constantly. If they can't hit the mark consistently and hit the mark hard, there is no use for her to use this weapon type.

Fearless
She was, once upon a time, a fearless woman who didn't fear death. She still is but now she relies on the Spear of Destiny giving her courage and conviction instead of her inability to feel a primordial emotion like terror. Her fearlessness now comes with the baggage of conviction and purpose which makes everything MUCH more complicated than simply having no fear of death. Her purpose is her armor and her conviction is her shield. Her fearlessness prior came from her feeling like she didn't have much to live for but now that she was given a reason to live, as short as that may be now, she now lives without fear. A new reason to live.

Healing Factor
The new strength, equivalent to the power of the sun, was granted to her from the little white fluffy demon. Upon taking damage, she feels a burning sensation in her body with light protruding from her wounds. The heat from the burning sensation is like being 'kissed by the sun' as her wounds cauterized themselves, returning her to fighting form. While this might be considered painful for Nozomi, the pain of dying was worse so she dealt with the pain and pushed forward. As if she was blessed by the sun, her wounds heal slowly over time granting her, what most people, would consider immortality.

Weapon Mastery -- Piercing
Friendship ended with projectiles.
Now piercing is best friend.

An endless meme known throughout the generations when something (or someone) treats you better. In this case, due to her inability to see out of her scope and being given the Spear of Destiny, she now uses the Spear of Destiny (which is a piercing type weapon) more predominantly than she does her anti-material rifle. Being unable to look down the scope of a sniper rifle made things extremely difficult to use properly. While she could still throw weapons with relatively decent accuracy, she was unable to use it to great effect; not as effective as she was at poking things with the Spear of Destiny now.

Duelist
As a sniper, she would have never dreamed of fighting someone up-close and personal. However, her meta had shifted causing her to close the gap with her opponents. She would pick and choose her fights wisely, declaring a single target as her objective; which was a trait that carried over from being a one-track minded assassin. She would remain single-track-minded on killing her mark that she carried that over as an assassin of Merces Letifer. Using this mindset, she would focus on a single target and a single target only. She would aim for that target's destruction before moving on to the next target of her holy wrath.

Now that Ninjutsu was back on the menu, she needed a way to ensure her ability to use ninjutsu and use it efficiently.
