Nozomi sent her Anti-Material Rifle to the gunsmith within Kumogakure for a few additional upgrades. Inside of the weapon, she had a compartment build in with two slots, both used as a means to project traps onto the ground so targets would be surprised with either a Hidden Launcher or a vial of acid at their feet. She took this weapon out to the range and with a couple clicks, her rifle slightly changed configurations and with a pull of the trigger, a small item flew out of it. She put the weapon down and formed a few handseals to create a clone. She commanded the clone to stand in front of the Hidden Launcher. After a few moments, Nozomi picked up her weapon and the Hidden Launcher activated, causing a sharp metal projectile to be launched directly at the clone's throat, instantly causing it to fade away. With a nod, she reconfigured her weapon back to it's standard mode.

After configuring her weapon back into firing mode, she set up the firing range to have multiple targets on the field. She swapped the magazine out to something a bit larger. She took aim at one of the targets before a buzzer went off, summoning up to 10 others. She lifted her head for a moment to get a quick glance at the area and shot a single shot, hitting the first target. She moved the bolt back and forth and quickly moved to the next and continued until all 11 targets were hit directly hit. Clearing her throat, she stepped back, reloaded her weapon, and watched as the cardboard cut-outs fell flat upon the ground.

3: Technical Pacifist
The next round of training would be disarming training. The objective, this time, was a high-value target having gone rogue and must be brought in at all costs. Two dummies were brought out, one being the high value target holding a knife while the other was some hostage. Nozomi looked down the scope of her rifle and aimed it at the dummy's head for a moment before bringing her reticle down to the target's hand. She clearly saw the knife in it's hand. The problem she ran across now was to hit it correctly, so the bullet wouldn't ricochet and hurt the hostage, nor the high value target. Without taking too much time to think, she pulled the trigger, hitting just the knife and caused the weapon to fly out of it's hands and onto the ground with an ear-ringing 'cling' sound.

4: Weapon Mastery – Projectile
The shooting range was opened up for more devastating shots. Now was the time for her to try out some of her special equipment with the rifle. Once the shooting range opened up, Nozomi pulled the bolt back and loaded in a sub-sonic round. She took sight of a far-away target, aiming center mass and pulled the trigger. All that was heard was the click of the trigger. The bullet, itself didn't make a noise until it collided with the target. It was as quiet as a mouse. She loaded in another round, one with a warning label upon it. She took aim at the same target and loaded in a bit of chakra into the Anti-Material Rifle and pulled the trigger. A circle appeared at the muzzle before releasing a white-hot projectile that struck the target, exploding upon impact. She nodded her head, satisfied with these special ammunition rounds.

5: Called Shot
She now had to perform a similar exercise to the disarming exercise. This time, she had to hit a single target in specific locations several times within the span of a minute. She loaded in a new magazine and took aim at the target. The target was a strange gel-base. A buzzer rang and she took 2 shots into the target's head, then put a couple into each of the arms and 2 into the neck. She reloaded and shot 2 into each of the legs and then started to aim at the more difficult parts, the hands and feet. She took a couple shots, shooting one in the middle finger, blowing it off, before placing the rest where they belonged. “Mind giving me something a bit more challenging?” she asked.

6: Defensive Technique
In this portion, she would perform outside with just her needles, which she called 'Spring and Autumn'. This is part of the CQC portion of the exercise. Her opponent will be a heavily armored Uchiha, capable of taking multiple blows due to their massive armor. Before the buzzer rang, the Uchiha started to swing at her with a heavy assault. She had troubles dodging the man and had to resort to deflecting his attacks and just taking the blows. She crossed her needles together and took on a defensive posture. The armored Uchiha punched at Nozomi only for her to block with her needles and threw the one in her left hand at the Uchiha's leg, impaling it into the armor but completely missing the Uchiha's flesh. She was able to deflect his assault, but she's going to need to do a bit more than this!

7: Stalker
Nozomi took a quick look around and noticed that there was quite a bit of cover. She threw together some handseals to form a giant ball of light, used to blind the Uchiha. Once the light faded and the Uchiha was able to see again, Nozomi was nowhere to be found. Nozomi used this opportunity to remain hidden and throw some random senbon needles at the Uchiha only to move moments after. Feeling the pressure of the needles from behind caused the Uchiha to turn and look back. Another set of needles hit the uchiha on the neck, prompting the armored Uchiha to turn in that direction. Due to how dangerous those needles, in particular, were, the Uchiha yanked those out and let them land on the floor.

Nozomi came out of hiding only for the Uchiha's eyes to start spinning. It was then that Nozomi found herself in a field of flowers with children laying in the flowers. Their blood, her own blood, and the blood of her sister turned the colorful patch of flowers into a crimson sea. Her heartrate elevated for a moment as she looked around. Something about this place wasn't right. No, her sister was already dead, so this had to be a genjutsu! Shaking out of it, she quickly formed handseals and cancelled the genjutsu.

Nozomi wasn't too pleased at the silly tricks played by the Uchiha. She stood there and, almost as if it instantly happened, her weapon had changed to that of the Anti-Material rifle. It changed in less than a frame-of-a-second before she raised her rifle up and started to shoot warning-shots, intentionally missing the Uchiha. Knowing that their armor can't absorb that, they dove out of the way from every shot. “Hey, hey, hey! Sorry! I didn't think you'd act that way! You should've just stayed put,” the Uchiha said before Nozomi appeared directly in front of him, placing the barrel of the anti-material rifle directly at the man's face. She made a gunshot sound with her mouth and replicated a grossly under-exaggerated recoil from the rifle.

The Uchiha grit his teeth and stood up with his hands up. “Okay, sure, whatever. You win this time, Nozomi,” he said before Nozomi lowered her Anti-Material Rifle, resheathing it behind her back. She let out a sigh. The sound of something moving entered her ear before a sword impaled her. She stayed in this position for a brief moment before she was replaced by a wooden log. Upon this log was a burning sheet of paper with a strange liquid upon it. After a brief moment, the paper exploded, giving off a foul-odored gas. The explosion caused the Uchiha's clone to poof and the gas started to take over the Uchiha, causing him to start gagging on it.
“Seriously? A poison AND an exploding tag on a kawarimi? You're such an asshole, Nozomi!”

Let's be real here,” she stated before pulling out Spring and Autumn, throwing 3 needles in quick succession, one going into the Uchiha's armored hand, one going into the Uchiha's armored leg, and the other going into the Uchiha's armored arm; all on the same side. She did this a couple more times before standing in front of the downed Uchiha. “Next time, I'll aim those at your throat.” she said before readjusting her hat upon her head.

The Uchiha caught eye-contact with Nozomi before she saw a Grim Reaper appearing before her. She turned to look towards the Uchiha for a moment and began to laugh at the Reaper's Gaze genjutsu. While she could see the Grim Reaper appearing before her, it did nothing to her and it didn't phase her in the slightest. “Nice try, douchebag. I've seen worse in my life. I think we should call it a day,” she said as she reached out and grabbed the Uchiha by the hand wrist and pulled him up. He tried to exert pressure as he stood up and Nozomi just stared at him. “That won't work either.” With a great big sigh, the Uchiha slouched his shoulders and just followed Nozomi back to base.

Gigantic - General Contract Ability
Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it.
Effect:
- The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.
Dread Aura - General Contract Ability
There are some contracts that over time, develop innate aura of danger that seems to speak with other creature's basic instincts. Someone who's will wavers in front of such a beast can find it difficult to fight rather than take flight, or even lock up in fear at the mere sight of such a terrifying presence.
Effect:
- The contract makes a Genjutsu check against all in battle in the start of each round; targets failing to fully resist this effect are inflicted with Fear, and their attacks targeting the contract have a 15% chance of failing. A victim may only have two moves fail due to this per round, and has a -3 penalty to the initial check if their current HP is lower than the contracts.
Ancient Wisdom - General Contract Ability
While many contracts are reclusive and rarely show themselves to the outside world, do not make the mistake of assuming them to be unworldly; many contract beasts live lives far longer than humans, and with this age comes experience. Experience that can benefit those who heed its advice.
Effect:
- While the contract is present in battle, its allies gain a bonus based on its custom class 'High' stat(s); this bonus is +1 Acc/Dodge/DC/Save and +5% Damage dealt with it. These bonuses do not apply towards caps.
- Example; the contract with this ability having Nin Acc and Gen DC in high would grant its allies +1 to Nin Acc/Nin Dodge/Gen DC/Gen Save, and +5% Ninjutsu/Genjutsu damage.
