Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

As the class had winded down, it seemed all the students' nerves for the most part had simmered down to nothing more than little ember from the fire that they were earlier. Everyone had passed the class except Riyota, but that boy had shown Kyuji a true heart of a warrior and some insight into his future of his life today and from before with Naoki. He may not have passed doing the technique, but he most certainly passed on guts and heart which was more than enough to just pass him for the class today. The most important part of everything right now was to file the paperwork that the students passed adding it to their records and preparing to hear the aftermath of harming the boy so badly. But, it seemed that little cursed boy was stirring and trying his hardest to get onto his feet even though his body was beyond physical standards and had to be broken. Yet, he managed to get up and even hobble over to the rest of the class thanking them for being there for him and caring for him which brought a smile to Kyuji's face. He did hear Riyota telling him to fail him if it meant that the class could continue which that alone meant a lot to the sensei of the class. It was gutsy but a true act of coverage which Kyuji had noticed. Unfortunately, the class was going to end either way as he was nursing his own injury from the kunai into his shoulder and he needed to get medical attention for it as soon as possible.

But, he needed to address Riyota first before any of the others so he looked the shorter male in the face and said with happiness in his voice: "Riyota, I have decided that you are passing the class as well from your actions when you helped Naoki and me along with how you fought today. You do have a natural talent for fighting and you took a high risk attacking me head on like you did. I would advise you to go to the Hospital and get a proper evaluation from a doctor there on your ribs, but please take it easy for a few weeks. It is better to be safe and rest than to overdo it and cause further injury to yourself. You are dismissed either way so go reflect on this class and congrats on passing my first class!" As his last words had escaped his lips, he had noticed the foreigner figure approaching him and he would smile as he saw it was Surutameni and the boy's Unmei. It seemed they both had been doing well as they looked healthy and a lot better off than they had been the first time they had met when the boy had his entity take over and try to murder Kyuji for trying to help heal his spinal cord that was abnormally large and bleeding everywhere. He would make this brief towards Suru as he would simple say: "Hey Suru! It is good to see, but I actually just ended this class and I need to make a report of this for the village and see my fiancée as she had been waiting patiently for me to have some time away from work so we could plan for our wedding. You are free to come to the Toraono Dojo and be our guest if you'd like."

The next one to speak to him was Azusa giving her displeasure about her hat being ruined while Mao had already parted from the class and Kagari was doing Kagari things in the background. He patted her on the head and chuckled at her trying to make him feel guilty as he stuck his tongue out at her momentarily before responding. "Haha that poor hat is indeed ruined, but I can get it repaired for you if you would want me to. I don't mind paying for it either since it is a little cute hat. But as for what I wanted to tell you..." He would trail off as he would bend down to be right beside her ear so he could whisper the rest of what he had to say into it. "I know you felt a little self-conscious about your ears. But, you should embrace your differences, not conceal them. I am different and yet I embrace it like it is nothing since it is me and there is no way I can possibly change and neither can you. You are welcomed to visit the Toraono Dojo as well as a guest of mine if you would like to see others who are like us with their special features. But don't worry about your ears, it makes you unique, Azusa." He would then properly stand again patting her on the head as he began to walk away from everyone.

Today had been a good day, a very good day aside from a kunai causing a broken shoulder. But, this would be something easy that could be prepared and start a whole new chronicle in his life.

It seemed that everyone had finally passed the exam as his classmates were going to get ready to leave. He checked the time on his watch and noticed it had only been an hour since the lesson begun, Considering it was a class day, they were being let go very early. Well....then again, what had just happened maybe have been a whole quarter's worth of lessons. While the lesson may have been hard and intense, Kagari had learned something in the end. Not just a fundamental ninjtsu, but a crucial lesson in the career of a ninja. Things can go wrong very quickly, and you might not be prepared for it. HIs attention was brought to Riyota, who was standing again and all healed up. He was a little exposed though, his clothes had multiple holes in them and his skin seemed to have some partial scarring. Riyota thanked him for sticking by him when he was down, saying it was unnecessary. Kagari shook his head in response, "It's no problem man, you'd do the same for me right?" Kagari smiled and hitting Riyota playfully on the shoulder. "I wouldn't say it was unnecessary, you looked pretty bad and I'm not about to ditch a classmate. Also who knows, we could be put together in the future. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this same group is together again." Kagari shrugged, gazing at each of his classmates. "Take care of yourself. I have another friend who loves diving into danger for no reason. It's in his nature and he can't help it but I worry about it still."

He could see that the lesson was finally over after Kyujin was talking to Azusa, catching the last bit of his speech before finally leaving. Mao too had already left to so it left Azusa, Riyota and Kagari here. Although that changed when he saw another person just observing them quietly. "Okay. That's enough weirdness for one day. I'm out." Kagari gave a wave to Riyota as he headed to Azusa, still standing there after Kyujin had patted her on the head. "Well, looks like we survived another crazy lesson..." Kagari stood nearby the girl, turning torwards her and observing her ears. 'I wonder if she has a tail...? Or if her whole family is-never mind.' Kagari's inner voice quieted down, he was very curious about Azusa's fox like apperance. "Well...hopefully our next lesson if we're together again our classmate doesn't get his guts spilled." Kagari headed torward the same stairway that Kyujin took torwards the exit. Before he left, he turned torwards Azusa and smiled. "He's right about your ears though, they're very cute." Kagari realized the words he said and blushed in embarassment. "Uh, I-I got to go. Later!" Kagari rushed down the stairs in embarrasment, hoping no one saw his red cheeks.

"Hmmm...It's fine. I can tell alot of people at my house to fix it later." The privileged priestess spoke, not particularly wanting Kyuji to go out of his way for anything. simply acknowledging it was fine for her.

As for the reason he had called her aside, it was to share advice on their similar differences and to embrace it. Truthfully, it was reassuring to see someone like Kyuji so soon after her physical changes; prior to coming to this class, Azusa had spent a good amount of time sulking in her shrine while her ears grew out. It wouldn't be wrong to say it even helped steer her away from becoming a self-conscious shut-in down the line.

...That being said, being commented on by Kyuji and Kagari was too much for her to handle at this point.
"...I-I get it already... but they're not that special or anything...So maybe I won't wear hats all the time or something..." This was very much a weakpoint to her, leaving her embarrassed and unsure how, exactly, to respond. In fact, Azusa caught herself in the middle of the motion to raise her hands up slowly to cover her head and ears, instead awkwardly acting as if she had meant to rub her forehead. Fortunately, at least Kagari was turning to leave and may have missed it. "Bye Kagari...See you a different time..." She mumbled...but smiled.
...She didn't dislike them being complimented, really.

Azusa hoped to encounter him again before long; he seemed very adaptable and capable...being able to spar with him at some point could no doubt help her out if he could help pinpoint her shortcomings.

As for the second part; "...The Toraono Dojo...You'd show me around?" Azusa repeated as her eyes pretty much sparkled with eagerness. Everyone knew of the majestic dojo, and Azusa had surveyed the area around the regal palace plenty of times, but never dared approach too closely. Sure, it was publicly opened and even encouraged, but one of her rare displays of meekness prevented Azusa from trespassing upon the area without an invitation. Although her developing-selfcontrol had advised her to remain calm, she couldn't help but look excited over the thought of some kind of adventure unfolding within the dojo should she go.

"That seems like it could be fun. I'd like to see it, Kyuji-sensei." Azusa said as she gave a quick informal bow, before turning to leave. "Bye sensei." Little did she expect her Genin exam to actually be in the Dojo!

Surutameni and Unmei merely stood near Kyuji and the other children. He didn't really care about what they thought or the fact that most of them hadn't even really said anything to him. That was just how he liked it. He was insignificant in a way, or at least intimidating enough to keep the chirping youth from his presence. The comment thrown his way about his grey hawk from Mao, well that definitely caught him by surprise. He blinked slowly as the girl walked away. "Uh, thanks?" The boy looked behind him and muttered in response since she wouldn't really hear him unless he yelled. And he wasn't about to do that in the least.

"Eh..." Suru shrugged as Kyuji spoke to him, mentioning his wife and other things that the boy seriously didn't give a single care about. "Alright... Enjoy the paperwork then." He turned and took a few steps away before looking back towards the class' sensei, his head tilted upside-down and his neck straining. It would be an obnoxious sight as Unmei mimiced his master's motions. "Tch. Don't stay up waiting, old man." The youth's head would snap back forward, his hands would go to his pockets, and he'd leave. Oddly enough he was headed to the Dojo, some things needed to be dealt with anyway. Training for one....
