Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was interesting to watch the interactions of the youthful shinobi. To Kushin these children were the future for the village, he would kill if it meant they would be stronger, and he had done so many times under that exact justification.

The women was quiet which Kushin was pleased with, it meant that he didn't have to leave without having attained the information he sought, and it meant that she wasn't as stupid as his first assumptions.

They were talking about what combat styles they each used. Shin answered, and answered honestly. It was interesting for Kushin as at the same age he would have lied. He remembered a very similar conversation taking place, one of the boys asking him what he specialized in, he said Genjutsu. When those same kids then moved on Kushin during a battleground practice session they devised tactics appropriate to taking on a Genjutsu specialist, and met a Ninjutsu user. It had been the difference between his team winning and losing, and although he was then called names for lying he couldn't understand why they were upset. They had taken knowledge they wouldn't have known if that conversation hadn't taken place and used it in a scenario where they wouldn't know that kind of thing about their opponent in the first place.

He kept his voice low as he spoke.

So what branch and rank are you? He never turned his attention to where the woman remained, simply started a simple conversation. She sounded like she knew information on Kushin, but he didn't know how much she knew. Branch and rank would tell him how much information she'd likely have had access to at least allowing him to then assume the worst case scenario on that topic more accurately.

Low level shinobi, what a gift naivete is...... Megumi thought to herself. Never knowing who is really hiding in the shadows, with enough fire power to end you ten times over if the maniacal thought crossed their mind.

Kushin's words then ran like a freight train through her thoughts slowing jolting her back to reality from one of her far too frequent daydreams. It seemed like every day her mind would wonder and it usually would end up in the most dilapidated and disgusting gutter you can think of. Moonshine and men were usually the details of her missions, and she was beginning to really like and dear I say love the lifestyle. But none of it was child's play, and her mind is fucked beyond repair because she started at such a young age. Murder, vengeance, revenge, hatred, and social problem were the only things in store for these young shinobi.

She then turned to Kushin and gave him a wink with both her index fingers on the corresponding check of her face. Wouldn't you like to know.

Having seen enough he decided to move away. The kids were doing whatever the kids were doing, and he wasn't learning anything new any longer.

The wink and the comment only made Kushin frown. He answered with a Yes. That is why I asked. and decided that enough was enough.

[topic left - inactivity. Megumi if you want to have a roleplay elsewhere let me know and we can have it ass a continuation from here]

The frown on Kushin's face made Megumi smile, his aggravation gave her joy. The kiddies were doing nothing but aimlessly staring in her and Kushin's direction but not saying anything. They damn sure weren't fighting, which was what the young woman was hoping for so she decide to take her leave with Kushin.

Hehe..... The name is Natsume Megumi. These kids are pretty boring so I am going to take my leave but I'll be training tomorrow at the Anbu training grounds. You should join me I am usually the only person there......

Hiraku still didn't like the feeling he was getting, sure someone was still out there he decided to make his excuses and go off hunting for them. "Umm, sorry I just remembered I've got something I need to take care of. Maybe we can train together some other time." He bowed apologetically before turning and walking off into the trees.

It wasn't surprising that he didn't find anything in his search, and he sure as hell wasn't going to stay in this creepy place any longer than necessary so as soon as he was satisfied there was no one else creeping around, he headed home for the day.

"Uh umm" Kaoru struggled with her words as she attempted to answer Kurosawa san's question. The young shinobi had never thought of such things. She raked her mind for reply, before she realized she had just spout out, "Short distance I guess." she began to mentally attack herself. What the hell kind of answer was that!?! she thought to herself as she maintained her calm exterior. Akatora san seemed to answer it with no problems whatsoever.

Soon after Kurosawa san excused himself, leaving Kaoru alone in the clearing with Akatora san. "So what would you like to do first?" Kaoru looked over to her acquaintance as she set up the dummies.

[XD it's alright: don't worry bout it]

Short distance?

Shin raised an eyebrow at Kaoru's response, wondering what exactly it meant and why she had phrased it that way. Even after Hiraku excused himself and he acknowledged his departure with a succinct nod, the girl's words still baffled him, especially compounded by her calm composure. Only when she addressed him did he break free from his trance.

"I . . . um . . . wait . . . " he stumbled over his words after she set up the dummies. "You're not leaving as well?"

A warm smile crept across his face as he considered the implications of her decision to stay: most felt uneasy around Shin, especially by themselves.

"Well, if you're up for it, we could spar."

[Note: Just an RP battle if you don't mind and if your character chooses to accept ^_^]

Kaoru tilted her head as Akatora san stumbled over his words. "Leave?" she questioned as she sat one of the dummies back onto the stands, "Now why would I do that? Then I would have to pack up silly." Kaoru stated with her mousy little voice. She had never been alone with a boy, but she felt comfortable and was able to talk normally. The usually shy girl straightened up and threw here knife into a nearby tree.

She then turned back around to Akatora san with a small smile on her face, mimicking his. She placed her hands by her sides and began swaying them casually.

"Sure we could spar, but no weapons ok?" she inquired before quickly dropping into a fighting stance. She began sizing herself up only concentrating on her opponent, completely ignoring the symphony of the night forest. "Well? What are you waiting for?" she whispered before faking a quick jab and turning around to do a roundhouse kick.

Shin chucked at Kaoru's jest as the tendril of blood slithered back into his wrist before the wound from whence it came healed in a matter of seconds.

"I take it that means no jutsu either?" he replied to her first question with his own as he adopted his own fighting stance--one side in front of the other, knees slightly bent, hands open yet not straight, and his whole body bouncing in rhythm to his own excited heartbeat and breathing.

As the girl made the first move with what seemed like a jab, the boy went to parry the assumed blow with his front hand while simultaneously countering with a palm strike. But as she feinted the jab and went to perform a roundhouse kick, his own attack whiffed, barely brushing against her clothes. Jerking back his hand, he went to block the powerful strike, grateful that grandiose movement of the attack itself allowed him enough time to recover.

"Not bad," Shin complimented her as her shin met his forearm, his other hand already readying to strike. "Let's see if your defense is as good as your offense though!" he taunted as he launched a swift yet strong palm strike at the middle of her chest.

A small smile formed at the corner of Kaoru's mouth as she nodded when Akatora san put away his blood blades. As she stroke, Kaoru noticed his palm strike and felt his finger tips rub against her shirt.

Not too shabby she thought to herself as her foot landed from the kick. He made a comment to which Kaoru just smirked as he aimed for her chest. With lightening speed she crossed her arms in front and blocked the attack. Time seemed to freeze for a moment as she felt the impact on her fore arms. She jumped backwards so she was several feet away.

From her new position she sprinted to her opponent with her fist clenched. She made a hop as she approached him and aimed for his stomach.

Try this on for size! She thought to herself as her hand increasingly became closer to his abdomen.

[Sorry for the late post >_<]

Shin smiled as his blow collided with her crossed arms, the force of the impact sending gentle vibrations through his arm even after he reeled it back in.

Good. Can't say I'm surprised though: after all she is a little bit older than me.

Disappointed?

Not at all.

His grin grew wider as Kaoru raced towards him. As her feet left the ground, the diving motion of her whole body threatened to wind Shin. But if fighting wild dogs for scraps had taught him anything, it was that the girl was gonna feel the force of her own attack. Quickly widening his stance and lowering his hips, he parried her attack, the combined power of his defense and her offense practically throwing her to the ground.

"Keep it simple," he advised her, "the best attack isn't always gonna be the one that would hurt the most if it hits."

Kaoru used her palm to catch herself before she could crash to the ground. With a strong thrust, Kaoru flipped around and landed a kick into the boy's side as he spoke.

He's not too bad Kaoru thought to herself as she wiped a bead of sweat from her brow. It had been a while since the teen had so much fun during a training session. The shy girl smiled slightly as she went in a jab and then a foot sweep.

Kaoru was completely concentrated on the sparing. All the noises of the forest seemed to dissipate as she continued to fight. It was only her, the only sound she could hear was her heartbeat and increasing breath.

Kaoru threw a few more punches and kicks, till the two were completely out of breath.

"You're not too bad" she panted, before packing up her things and going home to rest
