Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Appearance

Civilian Child (Ages 0-9):

Mika is a young girl who is on the shorter side, just like the rest of her family. She has a fairly light-colored skin as she likes to stay inside and read books instead of playing outside. She has short, black hair styled with bangs. Her dark eyes, similar to the color of her hair but a lighter shade, are large and innocent-looking as she has not faced the true horrors of being a shinobi yet. Mika usually dresses in a large, dark gray hoodie as she feels more comfortable in something she can hide in. Underneath that, she would wear a white button-up shirt with elbow-length sleeves. Her attire below her torso would be black pants and the usual blue Ninja sandals. At home, she would wear a thin salmon coat over a white dress with a red scarf, a gift from her father, and brown shoes or just a simple white dress. To be more exact, Mika is at the height of 121.92 centimeters and weight of 25.4012 kilograms.

Academy Student (Ages 9-a/n):

After starting in the Academy, Mika’s father, Hiro, decided that instead of wearing a large hoodie, she should wear a dark blue jacket with the symbol of her clan on the back: a brown circle with a green triangle extending from the middle of the symbol. Underneath would be a gray shirt with a thin, gray belt wrapped around her waist, a hidden weapon attached to it. Still sporting her usual blue Ninja sandals, she would also wear her black pants, bandages wrapped on her left leg, keeping a shuriken carrier in place. Her kunai would be in a pouch dangling from her hip by a brown belt, with another pouch with her med kit and signal flare. To finish off the outfit, Mika would wear her red scarf, a gift from her father. Now that Mika is a year older, Hiro took his daughter to a Shinobi clothing store to buy new clothes as the past clothes were becoming less comfortable to wear. Her father let her decide her outfit and she choose a few clothing consisting of the color black and shades of red. The most consistent were her black boots and shuriken holders on her right leg.

Personality

Civilian Child (Ages 0-9):

Mika is shy and quiet as first as she usually doesn’t see other kids her age. Her mother would let her be around in her tea shop, but the usual customers would be older people and not many children. Growing up being nervous around large crowds of people, Mika would bite her lips or rip away the skin with her fingers, sometimes causing them to bleed and look scarred and bright red. She would also sometimes cling to the closest person she is comfortable with. She is also kind, being taught to be a good child by her mother. When her father is at home, he would not teach about being a shinobi, and instead teach her about tea. Mika wants to grow up to be Medical Ninja as she wants to heal others and take away their pain, as her father would tell her that tea could help heal a person.

Academy Student (Ages 9-a/n):

Mika is observant, though she usually has trouble turning her thoughts into words and speaking up, being used to being quiet. She is, most of the time, cooporative, unless faced with something that goes against what she believes in or the rules (though she still finds it hard to go against it), and tends be more of a follower than a leader, thus not being used to making important decisions on her own. Being friends with Shin and thinking of him as an idol, Mika adopted some of his traits, mostly his calm personality and tendency to obsess over certain things. Being an Academy Student for about a year now and interacting with more people now, Mika is less shy and more open, though is most comfortable with Shin and sometimes, Akagi, a friend of Shin. Mika also has the tendency to bottle up her feelings and is somewhat of a people-pleaser.

History

Civilian Child (Ages 0-9):

Mika was born to a chuunin, her father, and a tea shop owner, her mother. Growing up, Mika would hang around the tea shop, mostly clinging to her mother in nervousness of meeting people. Her father would be off doing missions but she would see him a few times, and he would teach her about tea, hoping she wouldn’t want to grow up as a shinobi and instead work in her mother’s tea shop. A few years before joining the Ninja Academy, Mika told her father about wanting to be a Medical Ninja. Her father was displeased but still signed her up as she would constantly beg for it.

Academy Student (Ages 9-a/n):

Arc 1: Beyond the Boundaries
Shinobi 101: Back to the Basics [Class]:
Post 1: On the first day in the Academy, Mika wakes up after her mother calls her, and looks at her clothes before taking a shower. After wearing the clothes, she goes to the kitchen to have breakfast and after finishing her eggs, she receives her bento from her mother. Taking her lunch, Mika walks to the Academy, and as she arrives in the classroom, she notes that there weren’t many students there. She looks at the front of the classroom, seeing that the teacher was there. After looking at all the students, Mika sits down at a seat farthest from the other students. Mika thinks of who her teacher is before zoning out.

Post 2: Mika takes out her notepad and pen, and attempts to see the contents inside her bento. After that, she analyzes a young boy, Hoseki, before moving onto Yuuki (Ren). She dislikes the girl’s outfit and thinks back to when her mother would drop off Mika with Shin. The girl states that it doesn’t matter with Shin and that the girl isn’t Shin.

Post 3: Mika watches new students, when the teacher comes in. The teacher, who is a woman, states a few things about herself before asking if anyone wanted to say something about themselves. Akagi, the blond boy who was somewhat attractive, talks about who he is and why he wanted to become a ninja. Mika’s mind wandered off to Shin, sad at the fact that he was not there.

Post 4: Mika listens to a few of the students’ introductions, and from Ren’s speech, she gains the confidence to prove the older girl wrong. She introduces herself and states why she wants to become a shinobi. Sitting down, she rests her head on the table and wishes that Shin were here.

Post 5: As the teacher talks herself, she states “—ventured to the Hidden Sand where I met my beautiful wife and had two beautiful children with her—“ This surprises Mika, and the woman continues speaking, in which Mika takes out her notepad with notes.

Post 6: Mika listens to the explanations of Taijutsu and Ninjutsu before pitching in and talking about Genjutsu.

Post 7: Mika listens to Akujin talking about Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, sometimes taking some notes. She becomes interested about the firearms, which her mother calls ‘guns’.

Post 8 (Last): Mika leaves the class.

Academy’s Top! (Open/Req. Students):
Post 1: A month into her education, Mika learns of an event in the Academy going on, and decides to go there. As she walks to the Dojo, she checks her items: kunai and shuriken and a signal flare from her father, a med kit from her mother, and a hidden weapon she had bought with her birthday money. When entering the Dojo, Mika sees two students already having a spar: Akagi and Takuya. Of course, she didn’t know the older students’ names yet.

Post 2: As Shin spots her and talks to her through telepathy and invites her to join him at the benches. Mika hurries and sits down next to him and after noticing that Shin is focusing on the battle, she does too. She is surprised as she sees the dark-skinned boy, Takuya, with a cloak that looks to be made of rock and fire. Seeing this jutsu, Mika gets out her notepad and writes some notes down with her pen.

Post 3: As the two students fight more and the blonde boy is badly burned, Mika faints.

Post 4: After Mika had fainted, she dreams of her eighth birthday, though soon after, she wakes up and seeing the blonde boy, asks if he is okay.

Post 5: Seeing as Akagi wasn’t injured much anymore, Mika watches the fight between Shin and Hoseki. As the crystal user is done on the floor and his companion is destroyed, the girl believes he stands no chance against Shin.

Post 6: Mika watches as Shin wins. Ren’s and her names are called up and she goes to the area, thinking through the moves she will do.

Post 7: Mika and Ren fight but ultimately, Mika is defeated and loses consciousness.

Post 8: Mika is woken up and after listening to Shin talk to her, asks if they could leave now.

Post 9 (Last): Deciding to leave, Mika heads home and begins reading a book.

A Day Out Shoping (Open):
Post 1: Mika throws kunai knives and shuriken at the target board, and at the voice of her mother, goes to the counter to buy the items.

Post 2: The woman behind the counter recognizes Natsuki amd Mika. Making a comment about ‘playing ninja’, Mika is angered. Natsuki hands over the weapons and the woman checks the prices of the weapons. At that time, Akagi appears. Natsuki and the blonde boy shake hands and Mika waves at him.

Post 3: Akagi talks a bit, also aiming a kunai knife at the target board, missing by two feet. The boy makes a comment of not being good at aiming anyway, in which he disappears and appears with supplies of his own. Answering to his question, he states that he was simply here to stock up for a trip. Mika states that she is here for getting supplies too and Natsuki asks what the trip is.

Post 4: Akagi tells Mika that he and Shin are going on a trip and he asks when she would graduate, in which Mika states it might take some time.

Post 5: Natsuki allows Mika to go on the trip.

Post 6: Mika learns that will need to be a genin to go to the Academy and is determined to graduate before the Tournament.

Post 7 (Last): Mika and Akagi plan to train for the upcoming Tournament—not to be in it, but to graduate the Academy to go there for the trip.

Crammin for Examine [PVT/Req. Karasu Mika]
Post 1: As Mika is walking to the designated area, she thinks of when she was out shoping earlier. She fixes her hair and eats a sandwich, as she had not eaten breakfast yet, and arrives to the area.

Post 2: Akagi states what they will be doing and creates a clone for Mika to spar with.

Post 3: Mika starts attacking Akagi’s clone that keeps dodging her hits until she is able to defeat it.

Post 4: Mika practices throwing shuriken before moving on to dodging five projectiles. She dodges them all, but falls into the water while avoiding the last projectile.

Post 5: Akagi carries Mika back to shore and asks her how she would like to train. She states that she will leave that decision up to the boy.

Post 6: Mika and Akagi exercise for a few hours.

Post 7 (Last): After deciding when to meet again, which would be every other day, Mika leaves after seeing the blonde boy leave.

Frozen Affairs [Requesting Passport]
Post 1: Mika is reading when she gets a message from Shin. She rushes to the states area and asks what she is need here for.

Post 2: Mika asks what she is to do after walking into the chamber.

Post 3: Mika steps onto the specialized scale and can’t help but feel worried if she would pass the test.

Post 4 (Last): Mika leaves after learning of the results: She may go for only a month.

Academy’s Explorative Studies! (Open)
Post 1: Mika thinks back to how she find out about Shin’s class and continues looking for his class. Soon enough, she finds the address and walks inside, ordering coffee and a cupcake. She then walks towards Shin, Tetsushi, and Akagi.

Post 2: After Mika approaches her class and finishes her cupcake, she states that she ready for class.

Post 3: Mika, after hiding two kunai knives in her sleeves, would listen to Shin's warning to be careful. Soon after, a group of kids would enter the Coffee shop and the small bundle of students would follow after Shin. Seeing a lady, the girl would conclude that she is a shinobi, and Shin thinking the same would walk up and talk to her. Mika would simply stay back.

Post 4: Mika, having been hugged by the blue-haired woman, stays back. Soon, the two classes are going to go to the same training area and she asks where the area is.

Mission C-Rank: Loveless in Kurosawa [Beloved]
Post 1: Mika is walking to the designated area with a half-full cup of coffee in one hand and a bag of muffins in another. Later on, she throws away the cup of coffee and puts away the muffins. After walking into a alleyway, she spots a civilian male who has been affected by the ‘’Beloved’’ poison and knocks him out. Inserting the cure into him through a syringe she was given, she drags him away so other affected people don’t do anything to him.

Post 2: After hiding the now unconscious civilian, she goes out of the alley way to find the city in chaos. She helps a few people before kicking a man off another man. She gets ready to kick the other two men too.

Post 3: Mika, Tetsushi and Kanmuri fight off the affected civilians. Mika states they should escape as they are here for their target, ‘Hissori’, when more arrive from a Spring.

Post 4: Mika spots the target and quickly tries to reach him, though she is, several times, stopped by the crowd. She shouts to her teammates that the target is nearby, and able to escape the crowd, sees an unfamiliar girl and the blonde man. Not knowing who the older girl is, she calls out to her, asking who she is.

It’s been a long time coming [Requesting Exit]
Post 1: Mika arrives and greets Shin and Akagi.

Post 2: A man appears before the three ninja (well, two, actually), asking for their passports. Mika, through after embarrassingly looking into her bag, find her passport and hands it to the man.

Post 3 (Last): Mika waits for the passports to be finalized, grabs it and takes off with Shin and Akagi.

Frozen Affairs [Leaving Country]
Post 1 (Last): Mika leaves along with Shin and Akagi.
