Minamoto Suyashi vs Dokuso Maru [Round 1- Student Tournament]

Maru decided to hold back on attacking to see just how long the boy would hold up. Maru moving from side to side, each lighting bolt that rained down from the heavens missing their target completely. Then came the same technique of attempting to strike him twice with his blade but each one missing their mark, the poor boy must have been getting tired from their battle. Pretty sad, however the boy came in for a third attack that actually pierced through Maru! Maru's had the look of being surprised by how careless he was, but Maru raised his hand pointing his thumb to the right side. Sushi looked, seeing the real Maru standing. Completely unharmed despite his blood leaking out of him, the over Maru began to peel.. Then his skin turned into millions of cockroaches to reveal that what the boy stabbed had been none other than his nightmarish doll Kawaii!!

Her mechanical teeth smiling at Sushi wickedly, she simply stepping back from the blade. Maru making her fix her tattered dress to the best of her ability. ”Awwe getting a little tired there” Maru said mockingly, the boy was giving everything he had. However despite the boy's willingness to battle for the people he cared about, Maru didn't seem to like that he's using the people he cared about as a crutch for his fighting. If he bore hatred in his heart, things might will be interesting. And Maru knew just how to push the boy's buttons. ”Well… I supposed I can do you a favor for you WHEN I kill you.. How about I kill that lady sitting in the crowd when I'm finished with you hm?... After all she is pretty annoying cheering for her son like you mean anything..” Of course this alone wouldn't get him to hate him, so he went into detail of how he will go about murdering his mother. ”I'll burn her alive at your funeral, did you know that burning someone alive sends pain to every nerve in their body. Heheheh. I wonder if she can hit high notes as she–” Maru had taken his bloodlust a bit too far! Not only did he wanted to kill students for the simple reason that he could, but he wanted to kill the very woman Sushi cared about for simply cheering her son on! Sad as it might have been, Maru is want many would call a monster.

Although Maru expected the boy to attack him, he had a trick up his sleeve. Many twitching his middle and index finger he caused his puppet to make metallic noises.

[col]'This guy is a bully... No wonder he doesnt have any friends...', Suyashi would think as he pondered his next strike, it did seem like a largely and grossly misuse of his training, he'd played around too much and if this was a battle for his life he could be killed by his antics. Sushi would take that with him in the coming rounds if he made it passes this boy today... however, this would come to fruition that Maru would begin looking into the stands to talk about Sushi's Mother, and it snapped. Sushi'd always tried to be nice about things. He looked for ways to deal damage without being fatal. But now all he could think about was Maru attempting to kill his mother. She wasnt as strong as she used to be, but she was still surely stronger than Sushi.

In a blind fit of rage Sushi would just begin stabbing at Maru, Cutting through his clothing and hearing his laughter every second of the way, though something had set off in Suyashi's head, no one would ever take his mother away from him, no one would ever and could ever take her away from him! She would live forever and see him grow old and have children! Though that was not plausible, being that they lived in a world where one wrong turn in a mission would take the lives of many sons and daughters... wives and husbands... Though, Sushi had not experienced that first hand. He'd heard that his father was dead but it didnt effect him because he never knew the man. Masa, his mother, was like his best friend. He told her everything, and she gave him advice. He couldnt lose her...

Once his attacks were done Suyashi would stand there for a few moments noticing that Maru hadnt moved he would catch a glimpse of Kuro in the crowd as he would smirk to Kuro, remembering what he'd said about using lightning in a defensive manner, before turning back to Maru he'd take deep breaths... he was at his wits end with his chakra. He'd have to really dig in if he wanted to end this quick... "Dont... you ever... Talk about my mother....again.", he spoke with an exasperated tone, you could tell he was tired but the fire in his eyes said he could fight for as long as his body wanted to stand, and he would continue to the very end...|

Maru finally got to see what his opponent was really made of. This two lighting bolts that was supposed to strike him missed, the half demon managed to get the boy on a full blown rampage! The boy managed to pierce his flesh again, making more inky black liquid ooze from open wounds while Maru laughed as though it was tickling him. Maru trying to move his hand to go for Suyashi’s throat so Kawaii would slice through his Adam's Apple but then he realized that he couldn't move!

Well played…. Maru thought, as the boy went in to jab him twice with his blades which both tore at his clothing, Maru stumbling backwards smirking to himself getting ready for more blows to come his way but to his surprise. The boy stopped. It would had seemed that Suyashi had the upper hand in this case, although he had a lot more chakra in him he was still that of a frail thirteen year old… Usually the smart thing to do would be to give up, the blood loss and how badly Maru had been banged up there was no way he could win. The crowd cheering the boy on like Suyashi was a mighty warrior slaying a Dragon. Maru wiggled his fingers to make sure that he could move again, Kawaii was moving her hands mimicking his movements. He gazed at the boy, adjusting his glasses so they didn't slip from his face.

Don't talk about his mother he saids, tired from his assault against the little monster. ”Heh don't talk about your mother hm?

Everything seemed to pause as Maru finished his statement… "MY MOTHER WAS KILLED FOR NO REASON…. SO WHY SHOULDN’T YOURS DIE THE SAME WAY?” it wasn't a question Maru began charging at the boy bleeding and all with his doll Kawaii. Maru didn't say that to make the boy pity or understand him. He wanted to cause the same pain he felt to the boy who had been more privileged than him. Possibly why he was fighting to end Suyashi and the other students lives. A boy driven by only hatred, Maru was going to keep attacking Suyashi until he is dead or if he manages to stop the demon from moving on to claim more victims. The deranged look in his eyes... The wide grin.... Maru had nothing else to loose at this point.

Maru Defeated....​

The lighting that attempted to strike him missed like usual, Maru began to get frustrated for the boy having not had already died began to yell that of a battle cry. Kawaii raising her arm to go for a quick slash which connected, ripping through more of the boy's armor. After Maru's attack Suyashi went on to take four stabs at him which all hit landed against Maru's body that had already been torn to ribbons, but in response to this he made Kawaii raise up and spin her lower body to kick at Suyashi's face twice! But the show finally ended with sushi using his final move against Maru that got hit at him twice, then to Suyashi's surprise the demon fell to his knees. Kawaii preparing for another assault against the boy,hatches him her chest opened up, about to fire knifes in Suyashi's direction!

But the damage to Maru's body was too great, although his brain didn't process pain or being hurt correctly– the half demon was finished. ”Darn weak human body! Work you stupid..” it was like a demonic spirit took whole of his body from the way Maru spoke about his own body. His hand sluggishly swigging at his opponent, Kawaii lazily swigging her blade at him but none connected. The half demon’s body finally gave in… Maru collapsing to the floor in defeat, face first to the ground with his hands over his head. The chakra strings that had been attached to Kawaii disappeared, Kawaii began to crumble to the ground like a marionette with its strings cut with her limbs bent in odd angles. Her nightmarish smile began shrinking until the mouth was closed into a adorable innocent grin, her eyes that had been rolled in the back of her head just rolled back to her big blue glass eyes. “Hehehehe” the doll said unintelligently.

The crowd rose to their feet and clapped it up for Suyashi with gleeful roars! Not only did the boy actually proved everyone who doubted him wrong, but he went toe to toe with a actual half demon and lived to tell about it. The crowd was aware that Maru was trying to murder everyone in the tournament, but the boy first handedly saved them all which was something to be proud of. However, although the boy may had won the fight… he knew that the half demon would most likely be back for revenge even stronger than ever. Demons are known to hold a grudge because after all they are hatred given a human form… It depends on whether this darkness he bore within him was just one of those phase or it was actually going to be him forever. Either way, the boy should enjoy his victory while he still can.


Sushi Not Dead.... Failure.....

[col]"Have I not raised two of the finest Academy Students here? You have the best of Mist and Leaf at your disposal. You are strong! Do not hide behind yourselves. You are fine boys and before long you will be fine shinobi. This tournament is just another training arena. The stands don't matter. The spectators matter even less. Remember what I told you, never start a fight but be sure to to be the one that finishes it. Be strong." Those words... spoken to him by his mother just this morning, they rang true. The moment he got serious, the moment he didnt care about the crowd or impressing anyone anymore were the moments that led to his victory. Stabbing and ripping through the clothes of his opponent he felt the strength he'd not felt before, something that changed was he didnt care about anything other than protecting the people Maru sought to heart. His friends. His village. His people. He would not allow this boy to get further with the accusations of his continued violence against the others, and this tournament was like sanctioned bloodshed in the eyes of the village.

"Good match... Maru...", nodding he'd raise a fist to the rise of the crowds noise and the moment that he would take with him forever, this was the prize for winning... but he'd look down at Maru listening to him continue on about killing him. He'd have to watch his back around Maru in the future. As such, he'd tell anyone else to watch out for the boy. He wondered if the boy would be charged with a disqualification because of his intent to kill, but then again it could all be a rouse to get a rise out of the higher-ups. Who knew, Maru... but aside from that Sushi could not assume.
He was too young to do such things, he'd leave that in other peoples hands until it dropped to his lap. With that he'd sheath his blades before nodding again, This was going to be quite the tournament. He'd heard the Uchiha winning in Kouza's side of the bracket before his fight started.

Though, as he'd huff out he could feel the last of his sparks going to a halt, causing his body to seize up and go on a proverbial auto pilot raising his thumbs up passes his waist and giving off one of the most goofiest expressions one could make! Before letting out a "Wheeeyy! I Deed Et!", oh boy...

Paying no heed for the conversations of her equals and superiors, the medical chief grips tightly upon the railing dividing the viewing booth from the arena below. Shifting her weight about the kunoichi lurches forward to begin her descent onto the arena grounds. The roar of the crowds deafening, though at her age she was more than capable of drowning out the noise, crossing the grassy fields to the two combatants. "Foremost, congratulations, Suyashi-kun." she murmurs in a kind tone, reaching into her back pocket to produce a scroll. Unraveling the material a wisp of smoke pours forth to display an oddly shaped weapon, clearly missing a considerable amount of components. "You can thank the one you spoke to the other day, he sends his regrets, he was unable to retrieve the entire blade." Grasping at the hilt, Mikasa tosses the large blade through the air with great effort, unsure if the child aware enough to process the item soaring through the air. "Consider it a congratulations of passing through the first round."

Oceanic orbs linger against Dokuso Maru, prior to fixating on the mangled puppet prior to returning to the unconscious child. Kneeling onto the soil, her hands press against the shinobi to be, teal hue chakra floods forth from her hands to envelope the youth bringing him to a state of consciousness. "Not the most beautiful of performances, but you did show off a variety of techniques." she mumbles, balling her gloved fist and giving the dark hair teen a thorough whack upon the rear of his head. "You certainly speak of horrors, but I suppose that means I am to remind you of an item I told you long ago." her vocals not nearly as kind as they once were.

Attaching threads of chakra to the youth, Mikasa maneuvers him through the air towards the awaiting medical unit. "It appears we will have quite a bit to discuss, Maru-kun." she calls out in a gentle tone, smiling sweetly to gesture towards the victor once more. Daintily the medical chief presses forward, grasping a hold of the doll, taking care to seal it weaponry scroll to distribute once more at a later date. Once the task had been completed she turns her attention to the viewing arena, focusing her chakra to her feet to rise through the air in a flicker, reappearing to watch the remainder of the combatants - yet her azure gaze no longer shimmer.

Maru still on the ground was enveloped by a teal hue chakra, his wound began to close and he began to stir. His vision was a bit foggy at first, but his golden eyes saw the face of his mentor. His once calm expression quickly turned into a glare, realizing that once again the same woman had came to his rescue. At first she kinda gave a backhanded compliment by saying that it wasn't the best of performances but he did show off his power. And to add insult to injury he was whacked in the back of his head with her fist and he growled. "Well what the hell was that for?!” Maru said holding his head, as he glared at her to explain what he had done wrong. Apparently free speech wasn't a right in this pathetic little country, so saying things in the heat of a battle got some people a little butt hurt.

Regardless he was lifted up by chakra strings, the conversation that him and Mikasa would have was probably going to be her lecturing him on how he shouldn't have acted the way he did. It didn't matter to him. He folded his arms, being escorted out of the arena to a medical unit not that he needed any medical treatment now. Looking around he saw Suyashi, giving off a inhuman growl as his eyes started to glow red again through his glasses. Unfortunately due to the threads he wasn't able to go for the boy again regardless of the tournament for him being over.

Meanwhile the man would grab a hold of his tattered doll, it spoke upon being touched. “Well hello there! Hehehe… Are you ready for playtime?” the doll said, before the doll was speaking like a normal person but now it was just a doll with extremely dangerous arms. She was sealed away in a weapons scroll to be given to him on a later date. However, that wouldn't fly with Maru because his Kawaii was the closest thing he cares about besides the other dolls he owned. But Maru remained silent, vanishing from the arena with his doll sealed away.

Maru wouldn't make a fuss about her being taken just yet….

[col]Seeing Tsukasa leap from the stands down to where they were made Sushi smile, even her words continued to shine a light upon him, it was enough to snap him out of his stupper as he went around the arena with his thumbs up. Oh boy, at any pace Sushi would reign in as She spoke and he'd reply with a low bow, "Thank you 'My house is Your house' Sensei!", it wouldnt take long for her to continue though, as she drew a scroll and from it was revealed to be a large blade! Or at least the handle of a large weapon... She's tossed it with a struggle but as Sushi caught it, it would send him flying back a few feet, he dug in only to lower his arms under the weight of the metal. 'How could anyo-... Wait This looks familiar!' examining the artistry he'd realize as she continued to speak, that his Sensei... Sho, had been able to show him the events of the past as well as found the weapon that his father used?!

"Where... where is the rest of it?", but before he could finish she had turned to Maru and bopped him a good one. 'Serves him right!' though the hit was just MAru still held a load of resentment towards Sushi. Thank god she had taken his puppet, or whatever she did it kept him from starting round two! Though, if you could take someone down once... You would be able to take them down again if you adapted to their growth? Maybe... Who knew. Maru didnt seem to have a ceiling to his power. It would continue to grow and flourish.

"Thank you Tsukasa Sensei... I'll look forthe pieces! I'll put it back together!", nodding he'd open up his summoning scroll before forming a few handseals and sealing the hilt of the blade into the bindings. All that was left was the Tournament... Suyashi had made it to the Semi Finals! And he wanted to make sense of all of this, maybe he would be able to win this entire thing! Only time would tell but Day two was fastly approaching, and he would need to get his rest... Kouza had a match, just before his own so he would get a chance to scout him out just like Kouza'd done to him! 'Dont get to hasty... I gotta make it to the finals... I gotta make it to the finals..." He'd take the scroll into his clutches before placing it back on his thigh holster before waving to the people who cheered him on before leaving the arena....
