The last ten seconds of Akkuma's observation of the battle came true although as broken as his foe was he'd still managed to avoid the majority of the attacks aimed at him. But the strain upon his body would be too much coupled with a final strike from the Kitsune a dangerous Taijutsu known as Spear Hand. With chakra imbued force & an unearned malice he struck the shinobi his hand would pierce flesh. Up through the abdomen & into his thorax. Akkuma's hand clasping around his heart as he held him aloft to the crowd before tossing him aside. Only to find him landing in the arms of a woman who seemed quite displeased at the situation. She quickly treated Hoshi for his wounds as the crowd roared showing there adulation at the show. If not for her quick intervention the shinobi would be dead. A sinister smirk upon his lips as he took in the features of her face. Perhaps most in the arena would be unable to tell just how far he pushed the individual before him. But to those who knew it was an unnecessary malice to further attack him.

"See to it he's taken back to his people. No doubt they'll want to see over him since his wounds are so extensive." with those words he walked away from the two raising his hands up as the crowd continued to cheer on. While he was disappointed his foe seemed to have lost his will to fight in the end he had achieved the first step in his plan. Now he was one step closer to garnering more of Aburabuta's trust. No doubt the businessman had noticed his little display of Otogakure at the start of his match. "Shinobi of the villages have become weak! I will remind you all why you once feared shinobi!" he'd say to another roar from the crowd. The flames from his attack still slowly dissipated on the field as the smoke began to rise. Turning to return the way he came he would stop as he passed the woman those many tails flicking behind him.
"Blame his leaders for sending someone so young to the World Tournament. There's more at stake here then some petty title." with those words he would stroll off. Using a single hand he would perform a quick series of seals that would cause rain to fall from the sky. He felt it was a fitting addition to the shinobi Hoshi's moment of defeat as the last of his flames were extinguished. That final jutsu would be the last they saw of him for now as he exited the arena. Eager to remove himself from the eyes of the public. For he'd seen to much of his old self in the young shinobi. Such foolish ideals & hopes these were the things he knew held shinobi back. Morals & ethics such things were to be disregarded. When one had to ensure the fate of those not only living but to come such things were only a danger to the mission. Fist clenched as he shook away his misplaced rage for the individual. Soon they would all know his Path was the only one that gave them any true hope.
