Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mission Premise: Times have gotten hard due to a recent bandit invasion on a local small village. The new methods of the bandit leader have been forced on the locals. Citizens are beginning to go out of the way and go to drastic measures to get ordinary everyday tasks completed. Uziuke is to go out and hunt for food for the village citizens. He also has the choice of taking out the bandit leader that has taken over the village. Either option pays well.

Mission Premise: Jomei has been arrested for trespassing and suspicious activity, and this chapter begins with his bargain for freedom within the City of the Hidden Moon's inner sanctum. While he did not do anything particularly wrong, the Overseers judging Jomei are hard-pressed to believe his alibi. In order to prove his fealty and earn a temporary visa, the Overseers have demanded that Jomei serve their city, first. The Warden gives Jomei an invoice for 24 barrels of guzzolene. He is told to load the barrels onto his steam boat (which has been repaired) at the harbor, and sail them to the Hidden Moon Outpost located below the Twin Mountains. Two ninja standing watch will be awaiting him there, and will even off load the barrels for him. A simple task. However, once Jomei loads the final drum onto his vessel, an accident causes the drum to topple over with the lid ajar, and the unthinkable is poured out grotesquely across the deck.

???

There is no Hidden Moon. Moon is a civilian village. It maintains ninja, but this isn't exactly...advertised. The mountains are...are not really close together; by the descriptions, one is north of the village and one all the way in the center of the island. And Moon wouldn't really have outposts, due to their status as a civilian village.

The premise aside from that is fine, but it would have to be sending materials to a smaller community on the island, not an outpost.

That's all fine. I have edited my scenario accordingly.

Mission Premise: Jomei has been arrested for trespassing and suspicious activity, and this chapter begins with his bargain for freedom within the Village Hidden Under the Moon's Warden Hall. While he did not do anything particularly wrong, the Wardens judging Jomei are hard-pressed to believe his alibi of being a simple visitor. In order to prove he is trustworthy and earn a temporary visa, the Warden has demanded that Jomei serve the city, first. The Warden gives Jomei an invoice for twenty-four barrels of an unknown substance, but from the general stench, Jomei presumes them to be oil. He is told to load the barrels onto his steam boat (which has been repaired) at the harbor, and sail them to another coastal way-point located around the island. His destination was a lighthouse and small dock; a spot most famously known as the farthest place away from either Twin Mountain. Two handlers with a signal lamp will be awaiting him there, and will even off load the barrels for him. A simple task. However, once Jomei loads the final drum onto his vessel, an accident causes the drum to topple over with the lid ajar, and the unthinkable is poured out grotesquely across the deck.

Mission Premise: There's a house that seems to be haunted that's really been drawing attention lately, ever since a few mysterious crimes have taken place around it. It might be nice to have a ninja investigate, just in case. Makoto gets 'drafted' to do so, as it were.

Mission Premise: A relaxing day...is not going to happen. What should be a simple quest to get one person an item turns into a lengthy scavenger hunt and exchange that sends Makoto all over the place.

Mission Premise: Bodyguard time! A merchant is looking for someone to escort his daughter and her cargo to Sand from the port. Preferably someone discreet. Makoto gains the mission through word of mouth passing it to him.
