Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Laaaaaaaaaadieesss and Geeeeenttleeemeeennn!" A voice screamed out as a woman clad in a red dress (as required of all women apart of the pageant) walked out onto the stage that light up in multicolored chakra lights that glimmered, shimmered, shook, and flashed. A headset on her head projecting her voice to all sections of the audience as she threw her hands in the air at the end of the stage where the audience roared. Her smile was large, and blossomed as they continued to cheer. "Welcome to the first, ever Mr. Suna Pageant!" The crowd roared again as hair flipped and she lowered her hands and stepped closer to the edge, "It's going to be a wild, night folks! And I hope you're ready! My name is Mrs. Sozoshi Koe, and I'll be your host for the night! May I introduce to you our lovely judges--that's right, those gorgeous women in the red," She gestured to a large platform in the middle of the audience where the three judges sat facing the stage, their names brightly lit in front of them, and microphones and water placed in front of them at the table, "Toraono Suzuhime!" Her hand waved to her, "Kanashimi Itami,", a smile crossing her face as she moved to the final judge, "And our youngest beauty, Yamazaki Chizuru!" A round of applause broke out as the cheers roared again, "Thank you, thank you!" She laughed, nodding, and waiting for the roar to die down again.

"Thank you, beautiful ladies! Now, in case you don't know how this works, here's what going on today!" Koe stepped back, her curls bouncing from her energetic behavior, "First, we had seven hot-hot-hot men nominated by your fellow beautiful Sunan women from around the village," Her hand raised to the side of her face as though she was telling a secret, but by no means did she whisper, "Some of them I'm sure will delightfully surprise you!"

"Anyways! These seven men will be competing in some really exciting events, and our judges will rate each performance on a scale of one to ten, and after wards, the points will be added up out of 40 total points! The two men with the highest points will be rewarded with, of course, a sash and crown, as traditionally and stereotypically expected," She walked farther to the right side of the stage, her smile growing, "But also rewarded with one date with one of our hot! hot! hot! women!" Her hand would gesture off stage to motion for the two girls to come to the center front of the stage.

"Kumiko and Kitanai! Aren't they gorgeous folks?" The crowd screamed again, applauding and cheering, "Now, Now, ladies, if you'd please step to the side," Her hand would gesture to the left as she moved to the far right, "Now! You've been waiting for this, haven't you?"

"Ladies and gentlemen! Your seven contestants!" Each contestant would be expected to walk out, at least a few paces behind the other, as she read off their names in order. Each standing side by side in their 'formal' outfits.

Second Place Prize
Ijimeru Kitanai

Oh, yes, the young Kitanai was very away that the one and only Sousuke would be furious about her adorable little prank. But, in a way, it was her way of pushing him out into the opening. He was a Steward, and needed to become something to his people! And...she just tried to do something to help.

Standing backstage, gowned in red (as all the women part of the competition were to do), she rocked back on her red stilettos, watching excitedly as the announcer flitted back and forth. To be honest, she was trying to keep her head low from Sousuke. If he were to find out she nominated him, he'd loose his mind.

It'd be a little funny, sure, but still.

The announcer called for her, and her partner Kumiko, giving her a seductive smile, she flipped her luscious curls back over her shoulder and began to stride out with her. Trying her hardest to look sexy, if not sexier, than she normally was.

Ohhhh the crowd...

How beautiful fame and staring was.

She gave a blissful wave, never dropping that fake smile as she waved and moved off to stage left as the announcer shooed them, giving Kumiko a gentle smile, "And so it begins," She murmured, looking over to the competitors, worried if one would be her doomed date--others, she... looked forward to perhaps getting to go on a date with.

Her eyes watched the rough and burly man that she so dearly adored...

Third Judge
Kanashimi Itami

There were so many people... Her head was spinning as she sat in the middle of her sister-in-law to be and her daughter-in-law to be in the middle of a roaring audience on a raised platform. She kept taking drink after drink of her water, and had to refill it so many times, she was afraid her dress wouldn't fit anymore. Itami wasn't normally nervous, but at the moment, she was flustered from all the people and the pressure.

"Oh dear," She breathed, reaching over and squeezing the two hands on either side of her, "This is so frightening!" She whispered, the crowd roaring over her words as the announcer paced back and forth. "Here we go, ladies, hm?" She smiled awkwardly and bashfully to the two of them, reaching forward for another drink of water.

Her eyes gawked at the competition and the lovely prize girls. They were beautiful, and they didn't even have the intense body modification she had--or so she assumed. The doll-like woman smiled softly as she waved as her name was mentioned, too bashful to say anything before leaning back and sucking in an uneven breath.

Red dress

Why? Why had she agreed to do such a thing as this? Oh right. It was her duty as an Uchiha. Such an event as this was prime publicity for the clan. That ... and there was Taguro-San's ulterior motive. Her and her brother were now 18. And though this event was prime time for improving the clans name it was also prime time for her and her brother to be wed. So here she was, at this Mr.Suna pageant, on parade as a prize. Instead of her regular attire Kumiko had been told to wear something red. Unfortunately, on such short notice, Kumiko only had one red dress. The same one she wore years ago for the Christmas party held at the Kage Tower. Her hair, instead of being up in her usual pig-tails, was let down cascading past her shoulders to her waist. Of course her make up had been done for her. A quick gloss of the lips and dark smokey eye shadow made her look like a completely different person. But was she hot?

Kumiko was used to the anticipation of battle. She was not used to the anticipation of going on stage. She felt uneasy in the pit of her stomach. She felt...nervous. A low sigh escaped her lips right before being called up on stage. ' At least it's for the good of Suna. ' With Kitanai beside her Kumiko strode out on stage, a crimson blush flushing her face. An instant roar thundered within her ears as Kumiko made her way to the left of the stage. " This event is much bigger than i thought it would be. ' She spoke to Kitanai at her side.

To be honest, other than her twin brother Bruinetto, she wasn't sure who else was signed up for the event. What other guys were here? And who potentially would win a date with her?

Sousuke resided underneath his Mark II armour. His size was slightly more opposing than usual. Beneath all his metal, he was at a loss. Aside from the Djinn battle in the dojo, and the medical building which was sealed off not many people had seen him in his armour. It was his hope he would not be recognized. The Steward listened to the music playing. Oh it was dreadful. His metallic hand came across his face to form a full face palm. Oh. This music was killing his brain cells. He hoped it would end soon. This music would kill brain cells and increase the level of stupid in the room.

The Steward paced about, but decided to stop. This would certainly reveal who he truly was. Someone had entered him in this confounded contest. Someone thought it was a good joke. The Steward was successful though in striking his real name out of the records. He also took out his personal photograph and replaced it with that of the mark II. This competition had some of the Sterward's peers. For instance there was Saemon and his brother Roku. Sousuke respected both brothers, and held a certain reverence towards them. If either of them knew that he was in this competition well ... he didn't want to explain himself. He merely hoped that his disguise was good enough. Roku had seen the mark two briefly, and the Steward was confident that Roku would have forgotten the design due to the complexity of it.

Sousuke was approached by one of the attendees. "Okay. You're up first up Silver Centurion." The attendee looked up from the clipboard. "Geeze what a stage name, you an exotic dancer?" The attendee looked up. "Oh. Good lord. Nevermind them. You're not what I thought you were going to be... hahaha... wow okay then. Good luck."

The Steward hesitantly reached out to pull back the curtain. Yes. This would be difficult. For a fleeting moment he wished he was fighting the Djinn again. The Steward made his way out walking across the stage. As he walked across the stage he made a slight display of his plasma powers. As he reached mid stage, Sousuke stood still and raised both of his arms up and emitted plasma beams. He spelt out in kanji his alias for the contest. SILVER CENTURION. His plasma beams read as he finished his artistic display. Following that the Steward made more palm blast motions. He formed various shapes in the air from his plasma chakra being spirals. He ended his display with a plasma drawing of a horse. With that he made his way off of the stage.

(Sousuke is doing a laser show with his plasma chakra, if y'all wondering)

While on the outside the young man looked calm and collected if one could peer into the depths of his soul an entirely different picture was painted. Firstly while not being an avid socialite it was a wonder that there were people who knew who he was, let along somebody with the audacity to enter him into such a “show.” After receiving notice of his nomination for this pageant he immediately opposed being apart of such mindless drivel. He had wanted nothing more than to just tear up the notice into finely shredded kindling and watch it burn with luminosity that rivaled his disdain of the concept itself.

If he was so against this than you may be wondering why he even bothered showing up. It was not by his own design that he ended up here. Two powerful and influential individuals played their hands to coerce the youth into taking a part in this community event. He was here representing two separate entities of Sunagakure infrastructure; The Jenosaido Clan and the Uchiha Clan. Inside he was cursing the situation that they forced into as his animosity towards them burned with a heat far greater than any star could muster. However, despite being forced into this scenario he could at least find a way to focus this rage and use it as a catalyst for his muse. After all having a talent for illusions Bruinetto had a flair for dramatic effect.

Looking on from back stage it would seem the first contestant in this shit show wanted to make a grand entrance as well. Bruinetto would only smirk as he muttered under his breath, “Isn't one suppose to put their best foot forward?” Seeing as how there was no clear indicator that the first contestant was breaking any rules with his elaborate display there would be no harm in him using a few tricks of his own. After performing several quick gestures with his hands the show would begin. The lights of the stage would slowly begin to flicker generally dimming. Their luminosity faded away as it appeared that every light on stage went out at once. What little light remaining being emitted by other light fixtures seemed entirely negligible as the entire stage went dark. The volume of the loud blaring music gradually began to soften as if intentionally being faded out. For a few moments the stage was pitch black and not a sound could be heard aside from the confused murmurings of the attending audience. Bruinetto would then come out from back stage and start with his entrance.

The lights would all kick back on at once with the dispersal of this Verse of Darkness as the myriad of colored lights would reveal the figure posing out on the stage. The figure was surrounded by a wondrous visual display of translucent azure colored leaves that danced around him. Raising his hand up into the air the leaves followed his gesture as they would slide over his arm revolving around it making their way past his wrists and gathering in the palm of his hand.

Bruin_Formal_zpsee85298b.jpg

Flinging his hand open the music would blare back up triumphantly as the leaves dispersed in all directions crackling and splitting off into thousands of small fragments each of them phasing through a multitude of colors as he began making his way across the stage heading off in the same direction as “Silver Centurion.” Following the first contestants lead he would stand next to him allowing his hands to hang casually against his sides with his thumbs slipping into his pockets. Turning his head to the side he would make eye contact with Silver Centurion and nod as form of informal introduction. “This man is obviously not using his real name but I wonder the reason why. He may be like me, and have been thrust into this situation against his will. At the very least, he seems more than willing to show off and try to put on a good show. I wonder how the other contestants will measure up to this?”

OOC Notes: Just for clarification I used three genjutsu in this post. Firstly, Verse of Darkness to create the darkness in this post. Secondly, I utilized Deafen to tone out the music momentarily. Finally I used Aurora Borealis for the final effect here in my post. There is a lot of RP flair going on here and I decided to run with it

This was absolutely not Chizuru's scene. She was far more comfortable with being in a surgery room helping out with a heart transplant or in her father's laboratory working on creating things that, though quite useful, would be considered an abomination to nature. However, the chance to show off her latest dress design as well as participate in a paegent as a judge was too much of a good thing to pass up. She needed to be more social anyway and she certainly didn't want people to think she was some kind of anti-social shut in! What better way than to sign up for the judge position for this pageant, oh and of course ALL THE HOT GUYS to look at. As Chizuru was introduced she'd stand up and wave her hands at the crowd. She was nervous but she wouldn't let that show, the girl hiding behind that cool calm exterior of hers. Once she was standing those present would be able to see just what she had on and thankfully the chosen colors for the event were red which fight quite well with her latest red dress. She couldn't be happier right now and she was blushing heavily.

Chizuru's make up was light, save for a bit of red eye shadow and red lipstick she didn't have on anything else on her face. Her finger nails were painted red and gold in alternating colors. Her red dress was in her most favorite of styles of course, a gothic-lolitta style red dress that was mostly modest save for the chest area where red ribbons criss-crossed one another and showed just a bit of skin. The hem of the dress was about knee-length and ended with pretty white frills stitched with red silk ribbon. Her legs would have been exposed but she wore white leggins underneath which stretched down to a cute pair of red heeled shoes that were red and gold in color and each had a slim red ribbon leg cuff. Off to she side on the table the final accessory along with her outfit was a red and gold and white colored purse that was shaped to look like a little picnic basket.

Chizuru looks to Itami as she squeezes her hand and gives her a little smile of assurance.

“No need to be so nervous mother try and have fun with this and think of all the handsome gentleman we'll get to oogle at.”

A little giggle escapes her lips and then she'd take note of the first contestant whom called himself the Silver Centurion. Not the greatest of disguises, Chizuru thought. How was she supposed to see how handsome he was if he hid behind a mask of metal? Chizuru claps nonetheless at the show that the iron man puts on as she loved a good show. Next the lights had dimmed as well as the music and Chizuru began to wonder if something wrong was happening but before she knew it the next contestat was on the stage and showing off in a fashion that just SPOKE to Chizuru. Such dramatic flair and so Handsome! The leaves were a perfect touch and when the man struck that pose, little Chizuru would actually squee before clapping with delight.

Toraono Suzuhime
Suzuhime's dress(Except colored red)

Suzuhime wasn't as excited as she thought she would be. She had done the same thing at her wedding, but she had Kuro with her. And now she was in the middle of a large crowd again, without Kuro. She couldn't even remember if she volunteered or was forced into this. Well, no point in griping about it now. She was here, and liked to think she was dressed rather nicely. She had long black stockings that ended up being hidden by her large red dress with artistically placed frills that wrapped around like some sort of skirt. Smaller pieces of cloth laid underneath the white frills. A large white ribbon located at her hip tied the whole thing together. There wasn't as much clothing for the other half of her dress. The top acting like a bustier to accentuate her breasts. She remembered Chizuru saying 'you need to show off your boobies more, auntie.' A bridge of white frills located between each mammary. The Toraono seal located on the right cup of the top. She wore seperate colored heels, one black and one blue. And finally she wore a long white bridal glove on her left arm. And a small frilled bracelet on her right wrist. A small hole was expertly cut out from the back for Suzuhime's long feline tail to swish about as it wanted. There was just one piece missing. Leaning over to Chizuru.

"Ahem Chi-chan... would it be alright for me to borrow one of your cat ears headpieces?"

She already had a tail, so why not complete the look? Clasping the hand of her future sister-in-law reassuringly. Having learned of her engagement to her brother some time ago. Suzuhime smiling kindly and lightly waved to the crowd. She couldn't help but feel a little bad for Itami, being how Suzuhime and Chizuru's outfits practically matched together very well. But at least all of their dresses were red. Looking back towards the stage when the contestants were announced to come out one by one. First up was someone quite... obvious. What other person in the whole village wore a high tech suit? None other than the Steward himself Sousuke. The other trying not to be upstaged by the laser show. What ever happened to walking out in a line like normal people? Suzuhime couldn't help but grin at who was next. None other than her ex-boyfriend and best friend.

INPC
Contestant
Yanchana Otoko

Otoko had no idea why he was volunteered for this contest. The anonymous voucher for his participation was going to get quite the 'talking to' when he found out who it was. But until then, he decided to show up because he was bored. So he decided to go out and buy a nice looking suit. He thought it looked good at least. Looking at the cyborg character and the rather depressing individual who went before him. He couldn't help but click his tongue. Otoko may have not been the most rugged competitor here, but he was one of. He sported a fine piece of fuzz having not shaved in a couple days. And of course still had scars from numerous things he preferred to not talk about. And nor was he the most flashy. He wasn't very good with all the Jutsu crap most of the people in this village pulled off. Where he came from, you had to go with your own muscle and not some fancy jutsu whatsits. It was rather unfair to the one individual who couldn't perform any of that stuff. The only special thing about Otoko was his inhuman tolerance for pain. And a slight cell mutation that allowed his tissue to replicate and heal much faster. Shrugging he would walk forward.

"Well, here goes."

He smirked when he twirled a medium sized pellet in his hand. Time to wing it.

Crushing the piece in his hand, he walked forward slowly to join the other two showboats. As he walked, a thick smoke began to envelop him, until his whole body was covered in it. Using his extreme physical fitness, he had vanished from the cloud period. Appearing in front of the crowd of mainly women. Crouching down to get a good look with his one working eye. Winking like the flirt he was.

"How's it goin' lasses? Sorry for not bein' flashy."

He would vanish again, appearing slightly behind the announcer. The smoke clearing from the rapid movement distorting the cloud. Standing there proudly with a playful grin on his face. Noticing Suzuhime in at the judges table. Maintaining his posture as he pieced two and two together.
She seemed to look quite devious about it.

"Real funny Suzu. You're freakin' hilarious."

He thought to himself.

Otoko sounds VERY Scottish

onamuji2_zps5a3e1ea9.jpg

So...the men would be paraded in order, to give the crowd an even display of what was to be judged? Seemed orderly enough.

Onamuji felt a twinge of nervousness, unsure of what to expect. This normally wasn't his sort of thing, but some local girls apparently nominated him, crowded him in the street, and pressured him into signing up and - at the time - he thought it might be interesting...fun, even. He didn't expect to win, of course, but to be a part of the show would be just as well. It was his hope that such a...well, primal source of amusement would bring the village together and give them something more light-hearted to focus on. If he could contribute, he felt it was his duty.

The competition looked interesting. The "Silver Centurion" was a strange entry, clad in a suit of armor and firing off plasma blasts to wow the crowd. Then, the young Uchiha - Bruinetto, was his name - used a clever combination of genjutsu to set the mood, then unleashed a plasma jutsu of his own to show off for the crowd. Both were showmen, whether they knew it or not, it seemed. Muji subconsciously gave them credit as he nodded approvingly.

Once those two were done, it was his time to shine. Or...not shine. Though, shining would be the desired outcome...

A rather late entry into the competition, he hadn't had time to dress up or plan ahead. He was still wearing his sagely robes, complete with the under-wrapping beneath. It showed off his toned abs and chest, but it wasn't the most revealing attire. With a sudden grin, the auburn-haired sage thought up a plan. It wasn't the most elegant or self-respecting plan, but it just might garner a little intrigue...

The lights began to dim until the stage was no longer visible, causing a hush throughout the crowd. Suddenly, Muji let his voice wash over the crowd amidst the darkness of the atmosphere, softly calling out to the audience to set the mood. "Good evening, Sunagakure. It appears I came with attire unsuited for this competition. Since this is meant to be a show, let's make it a show to remember, shall we?" he spoke softly, letting a moment of suspense linger after his words.

And suddenly, the light was restored, and a quick movement from the amethyst-eyed sage sent his under-wrappings and upper robes into the air, simultaneously using a fire jutsu to set them ablaze in a controlled and elaborate combustion of white flames due to his pure chakra. It was merely a show of 'pyrotechnics' that dissipated as quickly as it was conjured, leaving no dust or smoke for the stage to contend with. With a smile, the toned upper body of the auburn-haired Sage of Six Paths stood bare and visible as he waved to the audience. Muji wasn't a giant or a body-builder, but he was tall and physically fit beyond a doubt. It was hard to imagine, given that he always wore his stately robes, but underneath was a remarkably honed physique, crafted through years of training.

Muji hoped his little show would serve to set the mood, wow, and entice them. If anything, it would help strike interest from the crowd - one way or another.

Giving a curt bow, the Rikudo Sennin followed the other two contestants, taking his place out of the spotlight to allow the next contestant to make their own grand entrance.

[OOC: Muji's going the shameless route. Also, each action that uses a jutsu is a link to the jutsu being used.]

It was somewhat surprising to him just how...giddy he was feeling about all this. It caught him be surprise, not only the whole event happening, but him being part of it. He had no idea who could have put him up as a volunteer... the closest bet he could think of was his mother...which did make sense somewhat. After all, she was groomed in the ways of the Desert Rose all her life. And he was pretty sure she saw it as a way to show of just how well she groomed her son. He could only guess his father was less then pleased...but then again, there was a physical competition. So he could see his mother spinning it into a way to show the world what the Sunaku were capable of.

Regardless of who got him in this, he was pretty glad. He kind of felt he needed something like this, as silly as it looked. He was brooding and mourning the losses after the Djinn battle for a long time, but now, he needed to get back on track, get revitalized. Some friendly competition, even in such an unusual manner, would serve to do just that. Plus, modesty aside, he couldn’t help but to feel he had a pretty got shoot at this. Nicely kept hair, a muscled, tanned body, his charming smile... he beamed at himself in the mirror, making sure he was looking alright. He made sure his robe looked properly. He had bought it in his visit at the heaven, and he this was pretty much his first outing in it. The materials were top notch, and it looked pretty elegant if he said so himself.

The question was if elegancy was the right way to go, comparing to the other contestants. Most of these people he had very little recollection of...though, he couldn’t help but to have a slight idea who might have been hiding the large suit of armor, which titled itself the Silver Centurion. Watching from the backstage as the males before him made their entrance, he found himself in somewhat of a pickle. Plasma lights, Genjutsu, flips, self-combusting...well, ok, the last was a bit of an overstatement but still, all of them made impressive entries, to say the least...he had to try his best.

After Muji made his grand appreance, there would be a moment of pause, with no one coming out. Before the whispers in the crowd would start to loud though, suddenly something moved out from the backstage. This being 7 somewhat large birds flying out of the area. Not looking like any specific type of bird, but moving with enough speed that no one would really notice. The birds flew through the sky, maneuvering through the air, flying over the crowds, and passing by the jury table in a fast swoop. At the same time, in the middle of the stage, where the contests went out to present themselves, a lump of sand was gathering around growing higher and higher. Finally, all the birds retreated back into the forming mound of sand, perching on it and then melting into the creation standing there. The lump of sand was slowly starting to take the shape of a man...when suddenly, the entire mound of sand fell to the floor, and seemingly from within it appeared Harupia, beaming at the crowd with a large grin, and bowing deeply before them.

That was...well, the best he could think of. Some of his sand constructed work pieces, made into a Sand Clone, to which he then quickly Body Switch. Not as elaborate as Plasma beams or Genjutsu...but also less hazardous to the health of those watching. After his entrance, he moved to stand with his competition, giving them an acknowledging nod, before waiting for the remaining contests to come. And then, let the games begin!

Mft, Wc= 642
Harupia's appreance is him wearing the clothing pictured in the post

For the entrace, the main Jutsu used were Sand Clone and Body Switch. The birds are are just him using his general control over sand in a less combative fashion.

While the tall, brooding type of a male had been planning to come to this pageant-thingy, at the last moment he had been called into work. The ANBU was more important than a show. He would send his regrets with a messenger shinobi in the form of a crudely written letter. He hoped it would get to the women running it on time.

[topic enter/left. I'm sorry, I've been too messed up at home, I don't want to hold up this event any more than I have so proceed without me for now. Thank you!]

Appearance:
It seemed that he was last to show, and for some he was assured it had felt like maybe he had disappeared, but this was simply the excitement and expectation for his arrival. No, he wasn't that vein, or maybe he was? Either way it was time to do something that was very un-shinobi-like. Still, for someone that was blessed with nice genetics and semi-functional brain matter it would seem almost wasteful not to participate in such an event.

There was no need for hesitancy, he was prepared to go out there and look foolish. It seemed that his competition had some elaborate stuff planned for their entrances, or at least some had some quick thinking to pull out their ass. They utilized jutsu, those that required usage of chakra and fell in the categories that he lacked in. So he would need to play on his own strengths. Nodding he would slowly start his entrance.

Making his way onto the stage, proceeding to the forefront, he would begin to internally process everything. Within his mind there was only one thing he could do. Draped in his formal attire, his typical black suit, white button up and black tie, he would pause for a moment. Glancing around he would display his pearly white smile. His blonde locks would hang down the side of his face as he placed his right arm in front of his gut and his left arm at his back. This would initiate his bow. Following the bow he would raise up to full stance once more. "Hello, my name is Roku."

With his arms at his side he would begin to clench his hands into tight fists. At first nothing would be noticeable, but within a quick instant his suit would seem to turn to something more form fitting. The smile smattered upon his face would be maintained, masking the strain he was placing on his body, as the muscles in his neck would begin to tense up. In a matter of seconds his suit jacket buttons would pop off, harmlessly flying into the crowd. Raising his arms upward his muscles would begin to tighten, and tense up once more. This was merely coiling the tightly packed strands within his body. With one fluid motion his arms would swing forward in a very typical body builder pose, intended to show the definition of their upper body muscles. The idea was the same for him but would also do something else; the shirt and jacket upon his chest would erupt in an explosion of fabric. The shredded clothing, aside from some remainder hanging on his shoulders, would fall to the stage as he would look out to the crowd. Giving a brief flex he would become relaxed, his smile fading. He would bow once more before exiting the stage.

Subtly be damned.

The crowd ate up every second. Being an audience made of mostly women, it was no surprise that the girly squeals and screams were followed by every single entrance. There hands reaching out, begging for even the brief touch, and when it was granted, the screams would get louder. They loved the men on stage. There wasn't a single one who didn't get a huge reaction from them.

Koe, herself, kept on her news worthy smile, appearing completely unbiased, save for the redheaded man with the thick accent, who she would give an over dramatized look of shock and excitement to for the sake of a show. The men lining up one by one before she would give a wild applause.

"There you have it folks! Your seven--no...six?" She seemed momentarily confused before looking back towards the cameras, "Your six drop dead gorgeous contestants! Don't forget their names, you'll be rooting for individuals soon! Coming next is our first event, the TALENT PORTION" Her hands raised to clap for, seemingly, nobody. "Each individual has been asked to prepare an act based off of something they they're good at--but just one! And it has to be appropriate~" She gave a wink to the camera, "We'll be right back after this commercial break with our first competition!"

The crowd roared again before the lights seemed to die down, and the cameras clicked off, the woman moving to the front of the stage with her microphones, "Hey, folks," She said the audience, in a much less enthusiastic voice than she had on the show, "Don't forget, there's stations set up all over the place where you can make posters for the people your rooting for, and concessions as well. You've got 15 minutes!" Her hand raised to click off her microphone as she stomped off back stage, grabbing one of the stage managers.

"Six? There's seven," She began in a huffy voice, "Where the hell is the seventh? Find him!"

[OOC: And the ball is rolling! There will be breaks like this between each event, giving you time to interact with other people. Make it brief. You'll have a chance to post three times between the announcers posts during these breaks, then I'll be moving on to the events. If you do not feel you need that many posts, please PM me so we're not waiting on you to post something you don't plan on posting! But, please, do not exceed it.]

Second Place Prize
Ijimeru Kitanai

And it was finally over. Kita sighing a bit from smiling for such a long time and holding such a straight posture. She relaxed a bit, rolling her shoulders before a slight smirk would come to her face as she moved in the direction of the massive metal contraption known as the Silver Centurion.

Her hand would raise, knocking her fist against his metal chest, "Knock knock." She teased, after napping him backstage. "I know you're in there," She called, "I don't know anyone else who could build something like this, on such short notice, and so well." She would step back so he could see her if so desired. Her hands on the hips of her scantily-clad, flirty, and thriving red dress.

"What gives? Don't like crowds?"

Third Judge
Kanashimi Itami

"Well," The shy and beautiful Itami sighed as the crowds began to filter out around them. "That was...interesting." Her eyes would turn to her sister and daughter on either side. "Well, what do you think girls?" She asked simply, giving a shy smile.

The show, to her, was a bit more nerve racking than anything. She found herself jumping a lot in surprise and not expecting a lot of things. The people were just supposed to walk out. These guys were smoking (literally), flashing, dancing, singing, whatever. They were a bit crazy. In the eyes of the reserved and softer-spoke Itami, she honestly wasn't sure how to take it.

"This is certainly going to be an...interesting show."

The Steward watched the displays by the other contestants. Most of the other contestants actually spoke, where as he played the mute. Perhaps it was disadvantageous to play the mute and to go first. Each act brought with it a greater show than the Steward offered, or at least in his mind. Still though, the opening act seemed to be well received by everyone, or so it seemed as evidenced by their cheers. An awkward sensation gripped the Steward, once he was not familiar with: pride. Pride though was a dangerous thing, or so his father said. Pride had to be kept intact and controlled as it could in fact be a downfall. Sousuke merely placed his pride on the side, as he realized that his pride if anything was misbegotten.

The Steward knew some of the contestants first hand, primarily Harupia and Roku. He had met Bruinetto once during his lecture. Onamuji and Otoko were an unknown to the Steward. The Steward thought about talking to Harupia or Roku to break up this downtime. Doing so of course would reveal himself ... and that was something Sousuke truly wanted to avoid.

Thus the Steward listened to the announcer as she announced the next section being a talent portion. Right. So apparently he hadn't received the memo. Talent. Yes. What in particular could the Steward show in a limited time? He spent a few minutes pondering thing, and eventually came up with a few ideas. After several minutes of thinking and having not moved an inch, he was approached by Kitanai. She knocked on his chest piece, which caused him to snap back. The Mark II's head turned to face her. For a moment, Sousuke thought not to answer her. He turned his head to the side. "Are you so certain you know what lies beneath?" A different sort of voice came out. This voice seemed commanding, and certainly different from what Kitanai would be used to. The voice spoke confidently without so much as a hesitation. "A superior man does not fear crowds. He embraces them. I suppose I have you to thank for this opportunity?"<i></i>

Chizuru's gaze looked over at her aunt for a few moments and she had that look upon her face that just seemed to say WTF? She'd then reach into her pretty little basket and pull out a cat-girl ear headband and hand it off to Suzu with out saying anything to her. Chizuru was far too busy processing the information about each contestant thus far and was now oogle at the next set of men that were stepping out onto the stage.

First there was Otoko with his smoke based little trick. It wasn't nearly as flashy as the others but she did enjoy the outfit the male wore. It was quite fancy and looked good on the man. Once his little presentation was over the light began to dim once more which by now, Chizuru surmised meant there was going to be another flashy entrance and she was right! Muji was the male's name and he had no shame in showing off his toned upper body which of course caused Chizuru to blush heavily. Still though as a fashionista at heart she was a bit put off by the lack of clothing covering his torso but his performance was dazzling that couldn't be denied.

There was a bit of a pause and Chizuru was beginning to wonder if that was the end of the contestants when suddenly sand birds came flying out and even buzzed by her before moving back to the stage to form a mound of sand and then poof! The sand was a man and Chizuru was up out of her seat clapping at the amazing display but more importantly Harupia's style of dress. If the male had been wondering If elegance was the way to go then perhaps he'd get his answer as Chizuru cheers him on. She admired both the color and the design Haru had chosen.

Next up was a man that called himself Roku. He seemed rather normal and it looked like he didn't have an entrance prepared but then suddenly buttons were flying off the man's suit jacket and bulging muscles would tear his shirt. It was rather dreamy and Chizuru clap wildly for him. Such definition! She could appreciate someone that took such great care of their body and managed to do it whilst looking VERY good still.

As things began to calm a bit and a 15 minute break was called, Chizuru turns to look at Itami as she speaks her mind about the competition. It was definitely over the top but that just made Chizuru like it even more.

“There's so many wonderful entrants. Going off just looks alone though my favorite so far is either The silver Centurion or the guy that made the sand birds. He's pretty...I forget his name though. Did he say his name? So much excitement!”

It was so rare to see Chizuru this worked up about anything save for when helping her father with some manner of project down in the laboratory.

“You don't sound like you are enjoying it too much mother...or perhaps you aren't used to all this extravagance? I have to admit, I was thinking of bringing Kuroneko and zwei here with us but I'm glad I didn't. All these effects would drive them mad.”

Chizuru then leans forward a bit so she could look at Suzu and see what it was she had to say about everything so far.

To be honest Kumiko wasn't sure who was participating in this little event, other than her brother. Luckily for the time being she and the other 'prize' were forgotten. It was time for the show to begin. She couldn't help but feel a slight twinge of anticipation as the first contestant appeared on stage. Almost immediately Kumiko wanted to dead pan. She had seen that armor before, briefly, but still. She seriously couldn't think he would sign up for this type of thing. Then again maybe, like herself and Bruinetto, didn't have a choice? Either way she tried to hide the slight curve in her lips. Next, of course, was her brother. ... Ya. her one brow twitched slightly upon her twin brother's little display. NEVER had she ever seen Bruinetto try so hard to be show-vanistic. Maybe it was the sense of competition? No Uchiha liked losing. Quickly she tried to forget her twins performance, watching as the next took to the stage. Someone she had never seen within the village before started...was he stripping!? Was he shirtless!? Her onyx eyes opened wide in surprise. Was this going to be THAT kind of show!? It took her a few moments to regain herself and thankfully the shirtless man left the stage, only to be replaced by a familiar face. She had met Harupia a handful of times. His display was much more interesting, in a sense of his abilities, rather than the strip tease provided before. Lastly...Kumiko had to stop herself from running off the stage with everything she had. It was Roku. her entire frame went stiff trying NOT to remember the night they shared together. Which had been a mistake. Yes a mistake. yet that tension would soon deflate as he began posing...rather ridiculously like a body builder. Seriously? She had done THAT....with him? This was going to be a very long day indeed.

After the show they were given a few moments in between performances. Kumiko would B-line straight for her twin, making sure not to make eye contact with Roku...AT ALL. " That was rather flashy brother. Very unexpected of you to say the least. But I must say it looks like you are enjoying yourself. "

Right after all had been said and done with the first presentation Bruinetto no longer had to keep up a show for appearance sake. After giving a moment of reprieve he found himself up tight against the wall watching over his surroundings. He was always much more comfortable as an observer. His knee had been brought up as one foot rested up against the wall standing there on one leg. Arms crossed in front of his chest as he looked very supportive of the wall. For being so flashy earlier and becoming a center of attention he certainly was trying his hardest to blend in to his surroundings. Being a shinobi he should be better at blending in and being stealthy as opposed to standing out and garnering the attention of a crowd. Of all the contestants however there was only one that he knew personally. That person being one he met long ago while he was out having lunch with his twin sister. The man had mistaken her for his date and had offended her as a result. His sister had a great swelling of pride for their heritage and wore the elite status that it boasted quite well. Perhaps there was influence from Tagoro as well that imprinted on her over the years the way he attempts to weasel in the importance of their clan in any way he can. Speaking of his sister, she was rapidly approaching drawn to him like a moth to the flame. No matter where he would go for the rest of his life he was bound to his sister. While he often played it off as an annoyance there was a part of him in his subconscious that actually acknowledged the fact that he liked her company.

"Then my ruse was successful if you believed that I was actually enjoying myself." Those words being spoken through his teeth almost. Over all he was still quite annoyed perhaps even angry that he was brought into this whole charade. He did not care for such showcases whether it was male or females who were being shown off for the pleasure of others and competing like this. It wasn't the type of situation he would find himself in at all because to him the type of competition he'd rather be a part of relates more to academia and something with a little more substance. Looks and appearance will fade overtime and can often be shrouded through other means to deceive others. "If I have to be here, I might as well own the fact that I am stuck here. Unlike somebody else who seemed to be withdraw I would rather deal with this than the tones of both our father and Tagoro when they would lecture me on abandoning what they propositioned me to do." Although more than likely this was more of Tagoro's doing as opposed to his father. Tagoro was a manipulative man and the fact that his father was even in the Jenosaido was through his influence. "If you're anything like me.. you are cursing the fact you are here right now. " Realizing that she was here and taking a look at her apparel he gave an inquisitive look. "Don't tell me.. you are one of the prizes. Tell me now whether I need to hold back a little to avoid first place or if I have to work my ass off to avoid winning you." Not that Bruinetto intended on winning he planned on riding out this event for all its worth. For all he know his prize could be something else to be found here.
