He trekked back the route he had come, the sound of his sandals scratching across the rough surface. Perhaps it would have been better to do this the proper way. That is, if the Leaf leadership saw fit to provide him with the proper documentation. Still, this trip had been a waste but out of all that, he had rsn into the Raikage. Now that was something that had definetly caught him off guard. Kages usually didnt mull about by the gates waiting for some random traveler to happen by. They were in their tiny little offices doing important offcial work that was beyond his comprhension and making rules and funnily enough regarding his situation, the ones who approved passports. He would need to talk to the Kage when he got back which was quite a ways away. He had to quicken his pace.
