Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The gray clouds of Kumogakure skimmed the skies as Kaname made his way through the moutain path. If his intel was correct, he would come as close to the entrance of the ANBU Headquarters. Although he had never been there himself, he had speak much of his time reading up on the his of the elite Shinobi force and where they were once located. He broke out in a steady sweat as he hiked up the trail, taking note of any landmarks that would stand out to him. Since returning to the village, he only traveled in the evening and if he was out earlier than that, he avoided the crowded village streets. Kaname had not even returned to the Masaru complex to pay his respects and alert the elders that he had returned. He had plans that he needed to act upon immediately and finding the ANBU Headquarters was the start of it.

The Shinobi began to notice the path ahead of him was beginning to widen out and would eventually lead to a clearing. He began to ake more caution in his steps and watch mindfully for traps and ambushes. Once he reached the clearing, he gazed at the formation of the trees and mountain side hoping to find an entrance. While the old tomes in the Library, document where the base of the ANBU has been located, it does not divulge the information of entering or even finding a door. As such, this left Kaname awkwardly standing in the middle of the clearing wondering where to start. He knew it was close, he could feel it. It was then in that moment, he remembered something. A place as important and vital to Kumogakure as the ANBU Headquarters would have 24/7 surveillance and while he considered himself adept in techniques of stealth, he was nowhere close to the ANBU. Taking a deep breath, Kaname titled his head and stated in a very calm tone. "My name is Masaru Kaname. I wish to speak to the Director of the ANBU or whoever else is in charge."

With that, the Shinobi crouched down, crossed his legs and began to breath deeply, practicing old breathing techniques. If the guards were around, which he knew they would, they would relay some type of message to the director and hopefully then, he would be admitted into the hidden facility.

Whether what Kaname had read in his books was true or not, few could say for certain. The Sileo's location wasn't broadcast to those outside of ANBU for obvious reasons. There were entrances all over the village, but they were always well hidden. One would not simply stumble upon them without a tremendous amount of luck. However, it just so happened that when Kaname ceased his search and spoke to an unseen person, there was indeed an ANBU listening. One could deduce a couple of possibilities from this fact. Perhaps there was some truth to what Kaname had read. Perhaps he was near an entrance to the Sileo and ANBU had taken notice. Alternatively, perhaps what he had read was what the ANBU wanted those who sought out the ANBU headquarters to read. Afterall, if someone showed up in such an odd and random location, it would most likely be because they sought the Sileo and would make their purpose rather clear if they did show up there.

The ANBU in hiding was surprised to hear the man call out, speaking as if he knew somebody was there. At the same time, it didn't seem like he knew that for certain. Perhaps he was just guessing, or perhaps he had somehow sensed Tsumugu. Regardless, he didn't seem hostile and sat down peacefully as if accepting whatever was to come. If he was in this location, he was searching for an entrance to the Sileo. He provided his name first, and then stated his purpose. Tsumugu blinked a few times under his mask, surprised once more. He had sought out the Sileo in order to find Ayumu? 'Does he no longer have an office at the Torre Celeste? No, he does, I'm sure of it,' Tsumugu thought, then dropped down from the tree branch he sat in and approached the man.

"The Sennin holds an office in the Torre Celeste. You can request a meeting with him as with any other Sennin. This is an odd place to come in search of him," Tsumugu said, watching the man from behind his mask. It was possible this person didn't know that, in which case he was now informed. On the other hand, perhaps he was here for something more devious and the reason he provided with a ruse. Tsumugu pondered potentially calling Ayumu out here just for this. He probably would come if his own brother was the one that requested him, and it would be a fun way to annoy him, to bring him out into these woods for a meeting. "Why do you seek him?" Tsumugu asked.

Kaname didnt know how long he waited but the minutes seemed to stretch out in front of him. He tried focusing on one thing at a time as he sat in the middle of the clearing. There was a slim chance that the entrance was there and that his trip was futile but the chance that an ANBU was patrolling was a bit greater. The shinobi shuffled, trying to get a bit more comfortable and continued to wait.

There was no sound when the ANBU dropped from the tree. He moved with a great sense of control and weightless. Underneath the mask, his voice faced no distortion as he explained that the Sennin had an office at the Torre Celeste. "Hm, sounds about right. As much as I detest office buildings it seems that I'll have to go." Kaname stood up and stared at the ANBU in front of him. In many ways, this sighting created a sense of accomplishment in Kaname. He may not have found the entrance but he found a point or trail where a guard would past by and to him, any information gained was a success. He got out of his head and continued to reply to the ANBU. "Im something of a historian and would like to hear the Sennin's input as well as ask for a request. Thanks for helping me not waste anymore time." Kaname turned from the man in front of him and began to make his way back to the village. It seemed that he would have to make an appearance in the one place he was trying to avoid. Once he reached the Torre Celeste, the res of the family will have known that he has returned. There was nothing to do but suck it up and move on to the next objective.

Tsumugu watched as the seeker of the Sennin departed the area, intending to head to the Torre Celeste to meet Ayumu instead. He thought it a shame, it was a wasted opportunity to inconvenience Ayumu. Alas, he would have to find some other way to do such. All the same, he needed to make a report about this, just in case the character had some unsavory intentions for looking for the Sileo. It didn't seem to be that way, but one could never be too careful. Taking back to the trees, Tsumugu headed towards the nearest entrance to the Sileo, making sure he was not followed, to return and file a report.
