The gray clouds of Kumogakure skimmed the skies as Kaname made his way through the moutain path. If his intel was correct, he would come as close to the entrance of the ANBU Headquarters. Although he had never been there himself, he had speak much of his time reading up on the his of the elite Shinobi force and where they were once located. He broke out in a steady sweat as he hiked up the trail, taking note of any landmarks that would stand out to him. Since returning to the village, he only traveled in the evening and if he was out earlier than that, he avoided the crowded village streets. Kaname had not even returned to the Masaru complex to pay his respects and alert the elders that he had returned. He had plans that he needed to act upon immediately and finding the ANBU Headquarters was the start of it.
The Shinobi began to notice the path ahead of him was beginning to widen out and would eventually lead to a clearing. He began to ake more caution in his steps and watch mindfully for traps and ambushes. Once he reached the clearing, he gazed at the formation of the trees and mountain side hoping to find an entrance. While the old tomes in the Library, document where the base of the ANBU has been located, it does not divulge the information of entering or even finding a door. As such, this left Kaname awkwardly standing in the middle of the clearing wondering where to start. He knew it was close, he could feel it. It was then in that moment, he remembered something. A place as important and vital to Kumogakure as the ANBU Headquarters would have 24/7 surveillance and while he considered himself adept in techniques of stealth, he was nowhere close to the ANBU. Taking a deep breath, Kaname titled his head and stated in a very calm tone. "My name is Masaru Kaname. I wish to speak to the Director of the ANBU or whoever else is in charge."
With that, the Shinobi crouched down, crossed his legs and began to breath deeply, practicing old breathing techniques. If the guards were around, which he knew they would, they would relay some type of message to the director and hopefully then, he would be admitted into the hidden facility.
