"Psssshhhhht..."
A sound reminiscent to a horse neighing echoed throughout the night air, causing slight concern in some of the passersby. Its source? A boy with rose-colored hair who looked to be in his late teens, seated on a rooftop in the center of Sunagakure. It was a relatively low building, only two stories in height. His location explained why nobody had realized where the peculiar noise came from. He had scaled the structure -no chakra- with relative ease due to his monkey-like agility. And now he was just...sort of sitting there. Pouting about something from the looks of it. "This..." a lone word escaped the boy's mouth, trailing off before he could say anything else. Who was he even talking to? "...is..." 'This is' what? Maybe there was somebody up there with him he was having a conversation with? "...sooooo-" Seems like a somewhat coherent sentence was starting to for-
"BORING!!!" ...boring?! His time in the village had been anything but! Apparently helping bring down an ancient terror that returned from beyond the grave to wreak havoc on Suna wasn't exciting enough. Or rather, the thrill had subsided since. Honestly this kid was tough nut to figure out. The shout startled some civilians below and made them speed up their shuffling to-and-fro. Afterwards a long exaggerated sigh sounded out, followed by the boy forming fists with both hands and bringing them up to rest his face on. He needed something to do! Gun had been gone since they entered the village and his grandfather disappeared too, leaving him with only the promise of some "training" in the next couple of days. It made him shudder just to think about. Where were all the strong people? The oddballs? The Kage? Anybody?! He couldn't even pass the time by stuffing his face since he'd JUST eaten an enormous meal (and subsequently ran out on the bill...). Was there anything fun to do around here?
For a moment, the thought of his home flashed across his mind. Water Country...reduced to an over-sized Popsicle stand in moments. It was the reason him and Gun were travelling all over, doing their damnedest to rally support for a mission to unfreeze it. Earth Country was a bust...so they wound up here instead. The only person of influence they had met thus far was Byakko Kyuji, and he was too busy with his medical duties to aid in their quest. If he really thought about it...he hadn't seen anybody from Kirgakure since the incident. Kudaranai and Mumu sure...but they were MIA as well now. Last he heard Yama was in Earth Country, but they didn't run into him at all last time they were there. Regardless of whether or not they were successful in gathering help, he was most certainly going to return to his home. He had made a promise to the thing that froze it...one he intended to keep. If he had to march back there and kick its ass all by himself, then that's exactly what he was going to do! Y'know...eventually. But for now? He just wanted something to do while he waited for his grandpa. Otherwise he was bound to die from boredom!
Probably...
