Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ame almost slightly regretted asking Tatsuo about sweets. He seemed to have too much energy for his own good. But in a way it was kind of funny and she just barely held in her laughter.

Taking the hammer from her sensei, Ame got to hitting the wall straight away, but it didn’t seem to make more than a dent. Frowning, she stared at the wall in confusion.

Seemingly noticing her failure, Shinobu spoke up. Ahhh Ame, try and put your full weight behind every blow, you may be small but you still have some power in there if you shift your feet right. Taking her sensei’s advice, she spread her feet apart a bit, held the hammer behind and below her, and used all the power she could muster to swing at the wall. Looking at the decent sized hit the wall took, Ame held in a smile, listening to her instructor’s praise. So what kind of books do you like to read Ame?

A bit taken a back by the sudden conversation, she hesitated in answering. Well I usually go for study guides. My favorites are textbooks on medical ninjutsu. Her voice was, as usual, very monotone.

Noticing Akira coming towards her, she shrunk in a bit, still embarrassed about their last exchange. For a moment, she worried that the young Inuzuka was going to lecture her about Shiromaru, but was pleasantly surprised when he did just the opposite. The blonde explained apologetically that the pup was just nervous around new people and that he had gotten a bit ahead of himself. The talk was cut short, however when Tatsuo called out to his friend and they started their demolition together. Taking a deep breath to steady herself for the next hit, she took the same stance as before.

Casually walking around and observing the students was a boring task for Shinobu. He realized the importance of training the younger generation, but even as an academy student himself he never liked other academy students. "A chilled bottle of sake and a table at the Golden Goose casino in Crater City would be really nice right now. Ehh, soon, hopefully these kids don't take all day. Hey where did that Ichida kid go, if he thinks he can slack off an pass my class hes dead wrong." Looking down he realized he had been talking to the student Ame when he drifted off in thought. "Oh yeah, training manuals huh, yeah that sounds pretty boring, I hear Kickpuncher has a graphic novel, maybe you should check that out, but whatever floats your boat. Hey has anyone seen Ichida, and hey Yama get to work, finish up that wall so we can continue on to the next task."

Walking among those that were actively demolishing the wall he would offer tips on their grip and stance. "Use the weight of the weapon in each blow, lift high let gravity start the swing then grip and pull down directing all that energy where you want it to go. Good job everyone, you are doing great." Moving back over to the seating Shinobu plopped down in chair and put his feet up. Leaning back he tucked his arms in and closed his eyes for a quick nap while the students finished off the wall.

I apologize for the late post, I had some family stuff pop up yesterday. I will be giving myself a demerit for the late post however because I failed to reach out and notify you I would not be posting. I expect it of you to reach out if you can't post and I hold myself to the same expectation.

Yama and Ichida each get a demerit for not notifying me of their inability to post, that knocks Ichida out of the class. Sorry Ichida, get with me and we will make sure you have plenty of classes available when your able.

Everyone go ahead and RP finishing off the walls HP, have fun with it and we will move on to a new task next.

Akira smiled as Tatsuo got into the full swing of it (no pun intended) and began working away at the wall next to him, using all of his might to demolish it. Akira took another several whacks or so to wittle the wall down a little more but his arms were getting tired really quickly from swinging this sledgehammer about like he was. Free labour, this was, he thought as he saw Shinobu sitting and getting comfortable, making himself at home while his students wittled away at the walls. A few barks came from Shiro behind Akira.

"Don't worry, Shiro, we'll be done here soon," he explained to his ninken who was evidently getting restless and kind of bored of just standing there with nothing to do while his master tried to bring down a wall. The Gatsuuga would make short work of these walls, but he figured if he were to do that at this stage in his development, he would likely do a painful faceplant in the wall and put a dent in his skull instead. At any rate, he watched Ame work on the wall for a moment, glad to have had the opportunity to excuse himself for being so blunt with her; he didn't want to come across as a big meanie to someone he'd barely met after all, it just wasn't the way he liked to do things. Before very long, he found he's managed to put a fairly sizeable dent in the wall and it was beginning to crack and splinter in places. It wouldn't be long now before the whole thing came tumbling down and there was a fair amount of rubble and concrete to clear up.

Tatsuo continued to use the hammer to beat on the wall, his goal was to get it done as fast as possible so he could go onto the next thing. He turned to look at Shinobu and he furrowed his brow, he shared a striking resemblance to Tatsuo's father. Albeit much younger, he could tell there was something there. He shrugged his shoulders assuming some adults just began to look like eachother as they got older, thinking nothing more of it. He raised his hand and wiped the sweat from his forehead before continuing his onslaught of the wall. Bricks were cracking and dust was flying but he had no intention to stop until it ended, despite the burning soreness in his arms. How was this training he wondered, it was more like community service, he wish they would have just said that instead. He'd still have showed up most likely, but it'd all be worth it at the end when he was able to get that popcorn.

Soon his black shirt and black pants were covered in concrete dust, after doing some damage to his portion of the wall he placed his hammer down going to wipe off some of the dust on his shirt he then shook his head, also getting some of the dust out of his hair. He turned around surveying the construction site as he saw all of the other academy students working. He noticed that Shiro was becoming uneasy, he wondered if the crashing of stone got to him, he had a pet dog once, it was scared of lightning he wondered if the same thing applied here, he doubted it however as the dog would have to get used to way more if it was going to be a proper ninken. He looked back to the wall, it was nearly finished it'd only take a few more solid blows. Tatsuo lifted his hammer up high, hitting it six more times in rapid succession finally bringing the last bit of wall down. After the wall fell he let out a massive yawn and looked to Shinobu for guidance, he once again noticed the likeness to his own father. What a weird coincidence, maybe Kanna's and Ranna's were cousins or something?

Either way Tatsuo made his way over to Shinobu, going to wave him down. "Hey uh, so what now? I finished my section of the wall, are we nearly finished or is there a lot more to do, I don't mind doing a lot more i'm just curious I hope I don't seem lazy because i'm not I actually have a lot of energy, so I hope you don't mind me asking what I need to do next because I don't want to bother you I just want to be able to help as much as possible." he would say before catching his breath once again.

Ame was not as strong as she wanted to be. The weight of the hammer seemed fine at first but after a while it was starting to get to her. She could feel the slight tug behind her shoulder blade, a sure fire sign that she’d be sore tomorrow. She also wasn’t too fond of all the dust falling onto her and into her nose. But she supposed if she was going to be true shinobi, especially in the medical field, she would have to get used to a little dirt and grime.
Setting her feet apart again, she swung at the wall four more times, watching as it came crumbling down. Sighing in relief, she dropped her hammer, barely hearing as it thudded to the ground. She could only wonder what kind of task Shinobu had planned for them next.

Looking over at the full fledged shinobi, she walked over to where he sat on the counter. Unwrapping her scarf, she laid it over her bag she set down earlier. The scarf was covered in debris, causing her to inhale the no doubt unhealthy dust every time she breathed in. That, and it was getting a little warm. Sure, her scarf kept her feeling safe. But it was not the time to be wearing such a garment.
“I’m finished as well, sensei,” she told him politely, wanting to move on to the next task.

While waiting for Shinobu to respond, she looked up at the sky, the roof open for renovations. The clouds that Yama was watching seemed to be moving away for now and for that she was grateful. The less chance of rain, the better. No one would appreciate a soaked construction site.

Sweet dreams of sake and cards filled Shinobus head as he napped in the theater. The sounds of demolition barely bothered the seasoned battle veteran as he caught up on his sleep. Suddenly he snapped awake as the students started trying to get his attention. Looking around surprised for a brief second he reached up and rubbed his eyes while yawning. "Huh, whats.... oh yeah Tatsuo-san don't worry about bothering me, I am here to help, Heh, looks like yall have done a good job on that wall while I caught up on my sleep. Lets get all this rubble and trash out back. I want two piles, all the concrete in one pile and everything else in another. Lets all finish this so we can get to todays reward, I got a special treat planned." Standing up and stretching a bit Shinobu scratched his scraggly beard with his right hand as he moved toward the demolished wall. Bending over with a grunt he picked up the largest chunk of concrete and started hauling it toward the back door.

As he traveled Shinobu looked around and spotted his mini earth golem picking gum from under the theater seats. "Hey Dough cut that out, get your guys together and start helping us with this stuff. You are supposed to set the example for the others Dough now get to work." Grunting even more Shinobu continued out the back with the chunk of concrete as Dough rushed off to gather the other mini earth golems. Within moments all the students who were helping, golems and Shinobu formed an ant like work line of hauling trash and debris. The mini earth golems tried their best to help but could only carry a few pounds at a time and even tried to pick up the nin-dog and carry him out at one point. Moments later Pea the trouble maker of the the mini earth golems would carry out two of the sledgehammers and throw them on the piles of track out behind the theater. After all the trash and debris was cleared out of the building and into two piles out back Shinobu would gather all the students together.

Picking at his teeth with a stick Shinobu would wait for everyone to gather and grow silent before addressing them all. "Well we have two piles of trash to get rid of, one is all that concrete which does not burn, but the other here all needs to be dealt with by a good trash burning. Who here is able to show me an example of a Fire type ninjutsu to get our blaze started? If you are able go ahead and light her up. Also is anyone else able to tell me what type of ninjutsu element would be a counter to a fire that grew out of control, and then last but not least could anyone tell me what element Fire is used against best?" Looking over the students he would await their answers hoping they already had a bit of elemental knowledge.
If any of you are able to use a Fire type ninjutsu then go ahead and RP lighting up the trash pile. If you want to buy a fire type in your training and use that it is fine, just make sure you own a jutus before you RP using it.

The next two questions are about elemental counters, in Naruto every element is weak to one type and strong against another. I am asking what is [Element Strong vs Fire] > Fire > [Element weak vs Fire]. You can find this elemental relationship dynamic mentioned throughout the site if you look. [Hint: Start in Battle Rules --> Jutsu --> Ninjutsu, There is a list hidden somewhere in there but you will have to look. Or you can find the same list on most Naruto Wiki pages.]

Finally with one last mighty blow, Akira reduced the wall to rubble, tiredly dropping the sledgehammer to the ground, glad to have accomplished this task. He took a brief glance over to the teacher, expecting to be congratulated with open arms but found the guy half passed out on a chair in the corner. The student made his way over to Tatsuo, Ame, and Shinobu, the group of them now kind of crowded around him, awaiting their next task.

"Come on, sensei, give us our next task already," he pleaded jovially, ushering Shiro to join him... The little guy looked slightly shaken up. Maybe this next task would be a little more delicate. All they had to do, as it turned out, was move the piles of rubble and trash bags safely outside, simple enough. Akira got to work, hauling them out. Shiro was a little less prepared to be hauled up by one of the earth golems. He let out a powerful snarl and managed to slip out, landing safely on his paws after having hopefully made the golem jump. He ran and stuck to his master, practically refusing to leave his sight.

"Aww, Shiro, they're probably just playing. Come on, sensei's gonna show us something!"

As the students gathered outside, Akira stared with a blank expression as the teacher began asking them question about elemental Ninjutsu... He sure as hell hadn't learned any fire jutsu; it was mainly just Taijutsu in his arsenal with one measly lighting jutsu used to make his punches stronger. Though he did recall some of the things he learned in class about elemental techniques.

"It is water, sensei? You know, fire's weakness?" He answered, more like he was answering a question as he wasn't entirely sure but it seemed the most logical answer.... Although chakra and jutsu could function weirdly from time to time; they didn't always behave like elements traditionally do.

Tatsuo looked to the growing trash pile, before coming to meet with Shinobu. For once, when asked a question he didn't offer up a response. He actually had no idea how the elements reacted, he tended to sleep in class especially when lessons like those came around. He nodded his head along with Akira as if he knew the answer himself. When asked about a fire technique, he shook his head. "Nope no fire techniques here." he would then look to Ame, since he was aware Akira had no fire techniques in his arsenal, it was mostly Taijutsu. Maybe he could kick it hard enough to start a spark? He had heard about a man capable of making fires with his kick. Maybe someday Akira would be able to do it, but definitely not now, Tatsuo thought. After pondering on all that Shinobu said, his eyes grew wide, he had a surprise for them, maybe he would finally be getting his caramel popcorn he had worked so hard for. If they were offering caramel popcorn, it better be a lot, as Tatsuo would snack on it until he blew up.

As Ame started moving various piles of debris, she listened to what her sensei and fellow students had to say. Shinobu was asking them typical and standard ninjutsu questions, exactly like the things she learned in class. She also had just finished a book on the elements, so she felt fully confident in answering this. Unfortunately, she had no fire ninjutsu, either. She had only managed to master one jutsu, and it was water based.

“I don’t know any fire techniques either,” she answered her sensei, dusting off her hands after moving the first round of wall. “I do know plenty about all kinds of ninjutsu though.”

Stopping temporarily in moving the trash, she went to stand in front of Shinobu again, hands on her hips. Without hesitation, she spit out what she knew.

“Obviously, fire’s greatest weakness is water. But it’s strongest again wind elemental jutsu,” she spoke smoothly and fluidly, like the answer was just common sense. And to her, it was.

Not wanting to waste much more time talking, she walked away from the group and back to the piles of wall where they were work. She picked up two good sized pieces, one in each arm, and carried them off the designated area. She continued to do this until the majority of her area was clear.

Looking around the group Shinobu would be upset to realize two fo the students had skipped out on the work. "Where in the heck did Yama and Ichida go? Man that's a bummer but they wont pass my class by skipping." Slowly scratching his beard as the students finished piling the trash Shinobu listened to their responses, the young Inuzuka replied first. "That is correct Akira-san, Water type is strong against Fire type. Excellent work, and I see Tatsuo-san agrees with you wholeheartedly." Nodding along with the students he then saw Ame move in front of all of them with a confident attitude. "Haha, yes Ame-san, you are correct, fire type is strong versus wind element type jutsus. Well I gotta say, maybe those books you read are really worth it! Well as it seems none of you are able to start the fire with your own jutsus then that means I get to show off mine. Everyone please make sure you stay a safe distance away from both piles of trash." Stepping forward and after double checking that no students were close to the fire Shinobu formed handseals.

WHOOSH!

With a giant breath from the older shinobi a fireball shot forward and engulfed the pile of burnable trash. Haha, There we go! Wow look at her burn. That students is known as the Dragon Fire Jutsu. Great for getting a bonfire going and can be maintained in a battle to act like a flamethrower. Now on to the other pile, I wanted to use this to show you all something called a Advanced Element. As you progress in your studies and discover your own chakra systems elemental affinities you will eventually be able to mix bits of one element with another, thereby creating Advanced Elements." Turning around and approaching the pile of broken concrete Shinobu briefly closed his eyes and made more handseals. After finishing his seals a pool of lava just the size of the debris pile appeared in the ground below it. With a swirling heat the concreate blocks were melted away and absorbed by the lava. "That is a mixing of Earth and Fire types known as the Volcanic Sinkhole Jutsu, it is a great choice to try and surprise your opponent with when they are least expecting it and can trap people in its currents. Well with the wall completely demolished and all the trash and refuse taken care of you three remaining have completed this class! Congratulations to each of you for doing a great job, your records at the academy will be updated with a bonus class credit. Now if any of you are interested in a treat I have arranged a surprise for everyone inside."

Turning back toward the building Shinobu would encourage the students to come in and take a well deserved break. Once inside the cinema manager Yu Eiji would be waiting. "Thank you all so very much students. I can't tell you how much getting that wall demolished saved us on construction costs. As promised here is a laminated voucher good for one free popcorn with every ticket purchase, if you ever loose it please come and see me and I will be happy to replace it for you." While Eiji passed out the free popcorn tickets to the three students Shinobu would quickly dismiss himself to run upstairs to the projection room. "And if any of you would like to stay Shinobu has arranged a special screening of the Kickpuncher movie for all of you to watch today if you like, and I have prepared some dinner for everyone as well." Walking behind the food counter Eiji would pull out a tray of hot dogs with all the fixins on the side for the students to dig into. He would then direct them to the under construction theater where he would offer up buckets of cheddar popcorn and carmel popcorn as well. "Please help yourself to any of the drinks behind the counter as well and then sit back and enjoy the show! Hey Shinobu?" Eiji would yell up to the projection room where Shinobu was fiddling with a film case. "Make sure the film isn't twisted up, if you ruin my projector I will not be happy." Waving a hand from up above Shinobu would call down "Yeah yeah, I got this, no worries. Haha, there we go." With a clanking and clattering the projector would come to life in a burst of light against the far wall. Jumping down from the projection booth Shinobu would grab a hot dog and sit down to enjoy the movie with everyone else.

Akira watched in awe as the pile of trash suddenly ignited, bursting into a roaring flurry of flames. Even Shiromaru looked really impressive, taking a step closer to watch the crackling of the flames. He probably should've paid more attention in class and learned more fire jutsu, but Ninjutsu wasn't exactly his strong point; Taijutsu was always the most common choice in his family.

"Whoa, that is so cool!" Akira mused, prompting Shiro to let out a bark in agreement. The idea of free popcorn called to him though as Shinobu-sensei headed inside, prompting his students to trail along behind him.

"Time for the prize guys!" He said excited to Tatsuo and Ame as he walked beside them back into the building. Hey, a free film, some popcorn for life, and food was turning out to be a pretty sweet deal. Grabbing the plumpest looking hot dog, he took his seat on the end of the row and popped the hot dog on the floor where Shiro began to happily chow down on it while Akira got busy shovelling popcorn into his face as the film started.

Tatsuo took his card happily, going to the cash register to get free caramel popcorn. However, once again, Tatsuo did not read it carefully. Caramel popcorn was not included in the ticket and Tatsuo was not happy about it. He furrowed his brows and immediately went to the movie as he would think of his plan to get revenge against Shinobu, he wasn't happy to have been used but at least now he could enjoy the movie and popcorn despite it being not the caramel variety.

Ame gratefully took the free popcorn pass and walked over to her second bag of the greasy, buttery deliciousness. She wasn’t interested in watching a movie, really, but she could definitely use the chance to sit down.

Grabbing some napkins from the counter, and walked over to the seats and found a spot that was a good distance away from everyone else. But not so much as to seem too rude. She was glad she had brought her books with her. This would be a good time to brush up on the anatomy she was studying recently.

Unfortunately, once the movie started playing, she found it far to loud to focus on the words of her book. Sighing, she placed the literature back into her bag and focused on the school. She guess one movie every now and then couldn’t hurt. Sitting back, she munched on her popcorn, quickly finding herself wrapped in the story.
