Advanced Element: Shadow, Plasma, Kinesis, Wood
Claiming the following abilities, aside from the free ones (Kinjutsu, Shinobi 101):
[spoilername="Recharge"]It was natural for Muji to be a magnet for chakra. Every part of his existence was either focused of or comprised of the art of chakra and its own existence. He was labeled Chakra Attuned for his affinity to the energy, and his heritage as a Rikudo Sennin granted him even higher mastery over the chakra. His very ancestor was the original Sage...the man who created ninjutsu and first mastered chakra. That said, it was natural that Muji possess numerous forms of absorbing or draining chakra from his opponents, manipulating their very essence as if it were his own. What wasn't expected, however, was that his body would seem to evolve to this effect. When an opponent's ninjutsu would impact, Muji could feel his body automatically absorbing some of the chakra present in the jutsu. No handseals, no force...his body naturally knew to breathe in some of the natural energy that it had such a powerful affinity for...
Amused and intrigued, the young master accepted this revelation as further proof that he was meant to be a Sage in the measure of the first. The one who mastered chakra and created the art of ninjutsu, the God of Shinobi as he was named, had passed down his power to Muji. And Muji would evolve this power even further.
[WC: 218]</B>[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Clarity"]Onamuji had a natural calm and nonchalant demeanor that put him in stark contrast with some of his peers. They were usually the typical grim and strict shinobi, the sort of shinobi one would naturally imagine. He, however...was not that sort of shinobi. Yet still, he was an enigmatic individual. For all his seemingly casual and harmless appearances, he was a man of great clarity and wisdom. Even when he seemed uninterested in any given situation, his mind was fully capable of recognizing the truth of things. He was, after all, considered a noteworthy mind of the village, and the typical illusions and tricks weren't as effective on him. Muji, the young Sage who seemed more interested in simple things, was actually a very keen mind. It often led to his advantages in battles against opponents who attempted to use Genjutsu against him. Ever confident, they would use their tricks and assume Muji would fall prey...and he would let them believe it, not hinting that he saw through the illusions until it was too late for them to react.
While admittedly not immune to such attempts, his clear-thinking and analytical mind enabled him to see through trickery and deceit where those without such foresight would fall prey.
[WC: 206][/spoilername]
[spoilername="Fearless"]One of the traits that did fall in line with his nonchalant persona was his oddly unshakeable fearlessness in the face of death. Whether due to his familiarity with the subject, or because he was - like all Rikudo Sennin before him - more than just a body, was hard to tell. Regardless, he stood firm in the face of death on countless occasions, whether to his benefit or harm. Naturally, being unafraid removed the natural purpose of fear in humans...self-preservation. Fear, for all its negative connotations, was a good thing. It was hard-wired into humanity to keep them from walking off cliffs or standing in fire, or to shock them into avoiding snakes and keeping their hands out of drawers full of sharp objects. Muji, though not to such a mindless extent, wasn't possessed of the concept of fear.
He would not run from an intimidating opponent, and he did not fear pain. The purple-eyed Sage always stood his ground, for better or worse, and whenever an enemy would try to frighten or manipulate his mind, they would be met with failure. Muji felt no fear, and impending attacks were nothing to shake him from any given path. Even the greatest attempt to force him to remember what "fear" was would forever be in vain...he was, truly, fearless.

[spoilername="Insight"]A veteran, despite his relatively young age, of numerous battles and conflicts, Onamuji is no stranger to the concept of strategy and subterfuge. He knows to keep an eye open, and keep it wide, lest an opponent get the drop of him. Where some would see a flock of birds moving through the forest, Muji would know that something likely disturbed those birds, and it was wise to take heed and plan accordingly. Where some would ignore an odd scattering of leaves on a given path, Muji knew to throw a rock. It was easy to lay a trap in a used path, even easier to cover it in an attempt to catch a victim off-guard and end a conflict without risk. Against a man with the insight and instinct to catch such attempts before they come to fruition, however, they are often foiled.
With all his successes and failures, and outings into dangerous realms, his mind was honed to recognize and watch for such attempts. He thought where others assumed; and it was this sharp mind that saved he or his group from sudden death or an embarrassing defeat. It was this trait that made him an invaluable part of any team. Anyone could throw a punch, but it was the ones with the intellect and forethought to recognize the hidden punches that made all the difference.

[spoilername="Jutsu Mastery"]For every hundred average men, there was one exceptional one. This was true for all things, from fishermen to samurai. In the world of shinobi, it seemed all the more noticeable. Onamuji, for all else in his life, was one such exception. From a young age, he was able to control his chakra - even without real training. By the time he was a Genin, he was able to utilize jutsu more efficiently that the rest of his peers, and some of his teachers and captains were even at a loss as to how he was able to form chakra and use jutsu the way he did. Beyond his abnormal chakra and his innate power, Muji seemed to have a natural talent for jutsu. His handseals were more fluid, his preparation took less chakra, and his execution was flawless. What would drain a normal Genin seemed to have only a minor cost on Muji.
Later in life, he would discover his ancestry and his relation to the fabled "God of Shinobi"...the man who created ninjutsu in the first place. Whether by heritage or by coincidence, it was no falsehood to say that when it came to using jutsu, Onamuji was a master in every sense of the word.
[WC: 207][/spoilername]
[spoilername="Elementalist"]If you were to ask Onamuji what separated shinobi from the rest of humanity, it would be an obvious answer. When the first Rikudo Sennin created the school of ninjutsu and became the "God of Shinobi", he created shinobi themselves, effectively forming a new branch of humanity. The main difference that separated them? Their mastery over the elements. There were, of course, shinobi who focused on taijutsu and genjutsu as their weapons, but ninjutsu and the elements were what Muji considered to be the real force of a shinobi. And in line with this thinking, it was his primary focus in life. Whereas many shinobi were able to harness one or two elements and their combining factors, he - like the Sage before him - had a knack for manipulating all the basic elements of nature. Fire bowed to his will, wind blew as he commanded, water moved where he beckoned, earth parted when told, and lightning flashed as he wanted it to.
There were tricks to it, as most advanced shinobi knew. A person with complete mastery was able to form their element according to their will, making jutsu stronger or using them with less effort. Onamuji, unlike most shinobi, knew how to use elements to their greatest potential, forming them as he wished, and with fewer handseals. The elements, not swords or trickery, were his realm. And he was firmly in command.
[WC: 234][/spoilername]
[spoilername="Strategist"]While it was the leaders who took the praise and glory in times of war, every man knew that it was usually those far beneath him that made any glory possible. The soldiers were the ones fighting and dying on the front lines, shedding their blood for the dream of their leaders - whatever that dream might be. However, it was another caste that made it all happen: the strategist. The leaders made the decisions, while the soldiers carried out the decisions...yet the strategists were the ones who planned and manipulated to ensure that these decisions met their desired end.
Onamuji was one such man. Far from being a leader of high renown, and hardly a soldier save for his strength in battle, he was a gifted strategist. His keen intellect, as hard as it was for most to recognize outwardly, allowed him to analyze and break down most situations with ease and determine a course of action. Many of his battles were won before a single exchange, his opponents' fates sealed as soon as his mind had determined the method to defeated them - all before the battle began. Perhaps it was this analytical and rational thinking that developed his eternally-nonchalant attitude, giving him the "everything can be handled" mentality that he carried at all times. Regardless, it was undeniable that in the realm of battle, he was a man to guide its course and plan around his roadblocks...
