It had been so long.. So long since Yanjirou left Sunagakure in search of adventure and discovery, what could have possibly gone wrong!? He read the map correctly the whole way, or so he thought, yet he still ended up at the same. Exact. Town. Over and over again until he was on the brink of insanity. If that merchant hadn't found him half-starved wandering the desert, he likely wouldn't have made it at all. But now, finally being back on track, he was crossing the threshold between dunes and plains. Already, it was like a whole new world. He'd seen the few trees in the recently constructed residential district in Suna, but the sheer amount of trees in this grassy expanse was simply.. Breathtaking. This must be what they call a forest!
Of course, Yanjirou had no way of knowing that the occasional cluster of tress was nothing compared to what he would be seeing just a few days down the road. Thankfully, after his encounter with a group of bandits near the border of Lightning Country, he hadn't come across any dangerous entities, making his journey - aside from the days of endless wandering - fairly smooth.
With Kumogakure just a few days away, the young Byakko was already thinking of the various places he should pay a visit. From the few textbooks he had at his disposal, he already knew that their library and "Ancient Forest" were a must, though considering the forest's location, it couldn't possibly compare to what he had seen in the wild!
