Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Character's Physical Description: Mitsuha looks... Ageless. As if everything is about her is too perfect, but also in an unsettling way. This is because, she is no longer human, but rather a robot. Going back more to her looks, she still has the white hair that made her stand out few years back, the hair itself goes down past the small of her back. She stands to be about five foot six. Her eye

color looks to be red, though even that looks too unreal or even fake in a sense. At first glance, people would think that she is wearing a black dress, but it is more complicated than just that. The material used had come from a meteorite along with other rare materials to give off a red color dancing off of the dress. Finally, while most of her body seems like that of a human, the most telling part that she is not, or rather, no longer, is the fact that her feet, are her shoes, similar to that of the robots that some other mad scientists have made during recent times.

Character's Mental Description: The best way to describe Mitsuha is nearly unemotional. Even in her times as a human, she was cold and distant to others around her save for a few. Now, she focuses on doing missions and turned to be colder and calculating than ever before. Because of this, there's usually one outcome when she's out on missions. Even though her demeanor scares her squadmates, they can not deny that she is the brains of the team and usually pulls through for the team. But don't think of her cold demeanor as a sign of her being arrogant. She knows that she can't do everything by herself. But ever since she chose the path in her life, she has pushed aside all other feelings that she has, even for the one person that she had loved, all for vengeance. But as the years went by her thirst for vengeance had only left a hole in her heart. A hole only filled with emptiness.

Character History:

Our Journey with Mitsuha picks back up, with the night that changed her forever. The night her parents were killed. It was during this time that the girl had nearly everything going for her. She had made rank all the way up to Head Jounin. She had a girlfriend and steadily building up a group of friends that she can trust and rely on and vice versa. She was even starting to love her parents again when they had recently been treating her coldly ever since she had lost her bone manipulation powers. But after a chlling message written in blood, her parents own blood, Mitsuha knew who it was from. The Jashin cult. It was surely a message for her since she had renounced her faith in Jashin. She has had her run ins with the cult before, well, mainly with Jashin before, as he had granted her cursed blood powers to do what she wants, as long as she had killed in his name. But, when she had saved a dragon a while back, the dragon gifted her its heart and it had drastically changed her body and powers, even pushing out Jashin's influence on Mitsuha.

Back to the present time of things, Mitsuha wanted blood. She only thought about blood. Mitsuha wanted nothing else but to make the Jashinist cultists feel pain and death, the same that they had wrought out to her parents. She would ignore her friends' pleas and venture out alone into the land of the Outer Fire Country to eliminate the Jashin Cult. She would go out at least once a week to hunt down any rumors that she hears of Jashinists working in the area. And once she finds them, she sends them to meet their god. But even with her mind dead set on eliminating the Jashinists, she still has a sense of duty to fulfill. She would lead classes and even though they are considered hard classes, even for those who asked for advanced lessons, the graduation turnout has been a hundred percent. She will even go out on missions that need an extra person. These missions are usually B rank and A rank missions in terms of a team difficulty. On all of these missions, she worked as the brains of the group and would have the group work flawlessly with little to no mistakes in order to complete the mission.

Then, she finally met her match one day. Mitsuha signed up for a mission that the client had called her out by name, noting her past achievements and wanting to see them in action. She thought it weird, but didn't question it much. But alas, it was all an elaborate trap. Upon getting to the rendezvous, she was ambushed by a squad of Jashinists. She managed to take a few down, but they had ultimately severely wounded her and had intended to finish the job but... Their attention was diverted elsewhere. A fight had soon broke out between the Jashinist and the mysterious stranger until none were left alive. He would look over at Mitsuha, barely breathing as she looked back up at him, her vision fading to black. As she had lost consciousness, she thought of how weak she was that she couldn't stop the Jashinist cult from killing her parents. And again, she thought about how she couldn't beat a squad of them and how they had overwhelmed her. And then... Nothingness. Just darkness...

The stranger had taken her to a workshop of his out in Shin Yoko and went to work. The body itself had taken too much damage, but he was able to save the one thing that really mattered. The brain. The man was no ordinary tinkerer, but he was also a scientist that had also dabbled in the forbidden dark arts. He twisted chakra in his own dark way, but even with that said, he chose to use this as a way to save the girl. It took some grueling weeks to work everything out, but he had managed to safely transport her consciousness into a more stable, more mechanical version of a brain, a microchip from the black market in Crater City. Finally, Mitsuha had opened her eyes, though, something felt off, as in... Every part of her body. Looking down, she was shocked to see that the grievous wounds that she was inflicted with were gone, but also that she has a new body. Finally, a man showed up and made himself known. He wouldn't give her a name, but only an alias, the Tinkerer. He gave her a short story on his life. A man gifted with mechanical knowledge that soon became a student under a dark sage. He had once used his knowledge for nefarious means, but since had a change of heart and uses his unique skills for good. Saving her and giving her a new body is one of the first things that he has done. Some would say that he is an up and coming vigilante in the sprawling city of Shin Yoko. The Tinkerer had told her to take it slow, that she needs to get used to the new body first. "Through my own network, I heard a girl was going to be in trouble with a group of Jashinists. Those folk are some nasty business and few people make it out with their lives. Just be glad I saved you from them. By the way, why would they target you? Usually I've only heard of one Jashinist being dispatched to take out a target, but you must have faced around ten of them."

Mitsuha would sigh. "It's..." She paused. Mitsuha wanted to say that it was personal and he should shove it and mind his own business, but she felt the need to talk about it. "I had renounced my faith from Jashin. A year later after I renounced my faith, Jashinit cultists had come to my home and killed my parents. They were obvious in sending a message to me." She knew he was right, but there was still a part of her that wanted these people to pay for what they did to her family. The man seemed to have noticed her hesitancy. He spoke up once more, "If you are dead set on fighting them, you should know a few things. The new body that you have, mimics the powers that of a Human puppet, heck, it basically makes you a human puppet. Any fancy Kinjutsu that you may have had is long gone now. As for anything else, I have managed to make this android body highly efficient in chakra usage. Meaning that you could very well control the battlefield with ninjutsu and ranged attacks." To be honest, it was a lot for Mitsuha to take in all at once. She had nearly died, and this man had saved her life, but also in a way ruined it by giving her this robotic body. She knew what he was saying. She has more of a fighting chance now than she ever did. This time, she won't even bleed, a main thing that jashinist need from their targets in order to perform their insidious rituals. Along with being able to fully control the battlefield with vast amounts of chakra... She will have to study further to really understand this power.

And for the first time in her life... She didn't know how to process her emotions; she didn't know how she felt about all of this. To clear her head, she had tracked down where another rumored group of Jashinists were and made quick work of them. It was practically even easier than ever before since she doesn't even have to worry about bleeding and Jashinists taking advantage of that. But even so, as she stood in the carnage of the people that took everything from her, instead of feeling a blood lust that she usually has, all she felt was...well... emptiness. It is an odd feeling, to not feel anything at all. No more anger or sadness, no fear no happiness. No love. She had went back to the Tinkerer and asked him about why she feels this way. "That would be because of a side effect of moving ones consciousness to something more mechanical. I'm sorry that it had to come to this, but I was only thinking of a way to save you." Just hearing that gave Mitsuha a lot to think about. She would then return back to Leaf Starting her life anew, she very easily had the money to buy a new house and move in. Once she was settled in, she would process the information that the Tinkerer had told her. Was this new power and new body the right price? For the cost of losing her emotions?

She had stayed away from those that she had cared about in a past life and focused mainly on work, even if they did reach out to her, they were often met with silence. Not even her girlfriend could reach through to her.. Now that she has lost any interest in killing Jashinist cultists, she has refocused all of her attention into teaching the students at the Academy and taking on many dangerous missions. And for once, she started to lack behind on the missions. She tried to figure out why and soon came up with an answer. She may have grown accustomed to this android body already, however she has yet to bring out its true potential. Because of this, she had cut back on the missions and focused mainly on working as a teacher for the academy students. This had freed up her time immensely and had allowed her to be able to go to the library and learn more about her newfound powers. The first one, which is the most obvious one, is that she is a human puppet now. The Tinkerer had even claimed her to be one. Reading up on the information about it, she had found out that they are excellent ranged taijutsu fighters that relied mostly on puppets to get the job done, something that she'll need to learn to perfect in order to actually be strong on the battlefield. Along with that, they tend to have much more control and art style to even preserve bodies and use them as puppet weapons themselves. Although crude, Mitsuha knows that a ninja must use everything at their disposal, though something such as this would need to be handled delicately. She figured that the best way to handle that type of situation is to go on missions that have dangerous criminals that have certain bloodline or core abilities.

Making a game plan, she decided to use up all of her time when she wasn't teaching to master the puppet taijutsu art. It took her about a week to accomplish such a task, doing night to day trainings with little rest, which is a pro for her now that her body doesn't necessarily need rest. It had taken her the first day in of itself to make some puppets that would prove beneficial in battle, but it was not until the end of the week that she realized that she was still falling short. Again, it comes back to her not bringing out the full potential of her new body. Reading more into the human puppet, she had found out that the entire body of the human puppet is weaponized. It could very well be armed with just about anything to make her that much more deadly. So she went to work on her own body, finding the ins and outs on how it works and how to best optimize it for battle. She figured that if she is to be a ranged fighter, she might as well go all in on it. Her own weaponry to include much of the puppet taijutsu along with many different projectiles and sharp stuff that would keep just about anyone at a safe distance from her. Mitsuha being a smart girl knows that she'll have to be a strong strategist too, so she has added in flamethrowers and smokebombs into her own arsenal of a puppet weapon. Not only that, but since she already was excellent in ranged taijutsu, specifically projectile, she decided to add special compartments into her puppet body to ensure an even wider arrange to exploit on the battlefield.

But the real secret comes from making other puppet type of weapons, to include those that would be frowned upon by most of society. She is, of course, thinking of the Hitokugutsu Puppet. Such things take master control to even do. To make another human being, now turned lifeless corpse into a weapon to use at her disposal. Knowing the complications behind this, she'll have to either use the bodies of criminals, or through a program that the medical branch may or may not have that some people sign waivers for to have their bodies used for ninja things. But even if she were to aquire one, she is not experienced enough to pull that off just yet. Letting out a sigh, Mitsuha had to keep her priorities straight. She has to first make a normal puppet, one that can be used effectively in battle. It took her a couple of days to finish making one puppet. And whilst it did have combat capabilities, it was nowhere near perfection. Perfection... She was starting to understand why some people have chosen this type of life. To make weapons such as these. To preserve their consciousness into a construct. Days would turn into weeks and weeks into months until she had finally made countless puppets all sealed within their own different types of scrolls.

Finally, once she had gotten the idea of making normal puppets down, she focused on the special parts of being a human puppet. The first was obviously learning how to preserve the human body to make into a puppet. So she would make her way to Crater City, the place that is famous for finding black market things such as forbidden techniques, the occult, and otherwise things frowned upon from normal society. Even though she doesn't look like her original self, the ones that don't like to see Leaf ninja around these parts had noticed her as someone from Leaf. It wasn't until they would relax when they seen her walk right over to a stall, looking to buy something. "Tell me," She started, "Does this place sell books or scrolls that would help a human puppet? Such as preserving bodies and whatnot?"

The shop keep would eye her suspiciously before saying "yeah..." It was obvious that they don't get much Leaf ninja as shoppers, but they aren't ones to turn away customers. He brought out a book. "Here. This book gives you step by step instructions on body preservation along with soul transferring. Ya know, transferring your soul from one puppet to another." Mitsuha would pay the shop keep and would get back to her place. For now, she has no bodies to preserve to turn into puppets, however, she can see if this book is fake or not by transferring her soul into another puppet.

Following each of the steps, it tells her to focus all of her chakra to where her container of spirit is, in this case, the microchip, and connect it with the puppet that she wants to transfer her soul to. It took some several tries, but she was able to pull it off. She looked at the other puppet, her original puppet form, lying lifelessly on the ground next to her before she transferred her soul back into the weaponized body to control again.

She would go back to regular puppetry, noting in the book that talks about two different techniques that the human puppet can do that requires quite a lot of puppets, basically an army of them. Mitsuha has found ways to make these puppets both in fast succession and battle ready, all the while paying very close attention to detail. Even so, Mitsuha has kept looking for any discrepancies with each of her puppets, trying to perfect them even more than ever before. Once she was finally satisfied with creating puppets, she would move on to her next objective, masting her other newfound power. She remembered what the tinkerer had said about this body being made to be highly effective with chakra. Heading back to the library, she would learn about the specific affinity that would be connected to chakra on a deep level. Chakra attuned. Upon reading some of the things that they do, she had come to the realization that how she has been holding her own in battles, shows characteristics such as the Chakra Attuned. For one, she is fully able to keep going for a drawn-out battle. Another is that she has found out that much of her ninjutsu of different natures had come out as non-elemental rather than their normal element.

Armed with this knowledge, Mitsuha would fully test out her powers as a Chakra Attuned ninja. On her next solo mission, Mitsuha was to defend a small town out in the outer Fire Country. There, she was outnumbered by rogue ninjas, three to one, but she didn't mind it at all. No, in fact, she found this situation perfect for her to test out her powers in full. Exerting her own chakra, she was able to make the rogue ninja feel more taxed as they use their own chakra. But she wasn't done yet, no. The fight would go on for a while, and even Mitsuha would feel the effects of a drawn-out fight, but she had an idea. Her next attack was a strong attack, but not just any attack, no. She was successful in taking away chakra from one of the rogue ninja, essentially making him use up some of his chakra for next jutsu. As her jutsu was cast, it hit one of the other rogue ninjas, this time, it didn't harm them. It instead attacked their chakra system, using up their last bit of chakra without them really knowing it until they tried an attack with a high chakra costing technique, only to cause harm to themselves, using their own lifeforce rather than the chakra that was drawn out of them. As for Mitsuha, that attack seemed to have brought back some of the chakra that she had lost.

Effectively taking one of them out of the fight was all that she needed in order to turn the tides of the battle. Even with that said, Mitsuha wanted to push herself to her own limits and do a full attack on all three of the rogues' chakra and body simultaneously. Her chakra flooded the area as it would attack the rogues and making their own chakra systems be treated as an enemy to their own bodies. Doing such a thing would both drain them of their chakra along with damaging their bodies. They would all soon fall, leaving her with a mission accomplished. As she would head back to the Village she pondered on her newfound powers. So many possibilities swirled around in her head, but also, different thoughts. One of those thoughts went to Jashin and his cultists.

Back then, before she was turned into a Human puppet, Mitsuha was bent on rage and sorrow. But now... All there is, is emptiness. Even thinking about her past life, before even the Jashinist incident with her family, all is just empty. All the memories that she has is there, but none to spark any emotion to her. She has listened to more logic and reason than emotion. And honestly... She doesn't know how to feel about all of that. But it isn't like she could just change everything about her with just a snap of her fingers, right? So instead, she will have to focus on continuing with her job and perfecting her techniques. She knows that as each day goes by that she loses another piece of herself little by little. Though will she truly lose who she is by the time anyone sees it? It has been over a few years now and she knows the cost of what she is now. Losing her own humanity. But even with that said, there is still a small part of her that still exists, not as a machine, but as a human girl.

There are only few instances in which it seems as if her emotions may return, only to be gone the next. Could it be that she is trying to at least have something to hold on to? Will anyone notice? And if they do, will they be able to bring back the girl that they had once known, at least characteristically speaking? All of these uncertainties, but Mitsuha's story is far from over. In fact, this is only just another chapter in her life. Who knows what will be next for her as she continues to evolve and change. But even as the years go by, she has seen little of her friends and other people that she recognizes except for a few. And if her friends can't bring back the old Mitsuha, at least through her old mentality, then who?

What is Limbo Training?

This is the training that you would have gotten if you did not move on to your new character's life. Your caps are determined by your rebirthed stats. You must keep a record of your stats gained during limbo in your OCR thread. You may NOT request for an automatic rank up should you find that your new stats allow you to upgrade. Limbo training is only for people who have died in modded combat or suicide. Anyone whose character has not died is still capable of RPing that character until their OCR is finalized, and thus can train as normal.

Things you do NOT need to state, but take note of:

  • Abilities = All of your Abilities are auto-untrained upon rebirth. In order to have any Abilities for your new character, you must activate them by posting in your character’s Dojo topic in your new village.
  • Character History = By suiciding/rebirthing, you're making a new character. This means your new character must not know or remember anything of your old character's life/thoughts/feelings. If your new character has ANY direct/indirect connection to your old character, you MUST state that in your new character history write up for Admin & Village approvals. All Medical or ANBU related experience should be reflected in your history along with CA or BL influence.
  • Editing Your New Character Application = Do not edit a post you have made in your OCR. You must copy all of your information from your last post and add the changes to the new post. This is for papertrail reasons.

Things that do NOT transfer with your next character:

Please take notice of which ASP shop items that you have bought transfer with your character, and which do not.
