Izanami stands to be about five foot six inches tall. She has piercing red eyes, and a reddish brunette type of hair. She has her hair usually done up in a ponytail and mostly out of the way of her face. She usually wears a school uniform
where is is mostly all black with the schools logo on the left chest area of her uniform. Along with that she wears a big red bowtie on when she is in her uniform. She almost always is found having her headphones in, and if she doesn't, she has them around her neck. Her headphones in question are red much like her bowtie.
Character's Mental Description:
Izanami is usually laid back type of girl, though she is found to be sarcastic at times when she finds the right moment to be funny. Other times she can be quite quiet, as if lost in thought. Otherwise, she usually keeps to herself and prefers it much that way. She very much doesn't like the Tenouzans and will very likely start a fight with one if she encounters one. As for other ninja, she is a bit wary around them as she was brought up in a revolutionist household. But she is also one to be trusting in others, even when nobody else will. But to call her naive is an underestimation. She isn't cold but she is surely calculating to see how people react and work.
Character History:
Yume Izanami was born in Port Cirrus, in the outer part of Lightning Country. For the first half of her life, she was just a normal girl. But it all changed when the Holy War took place when the Tenouzans decided to go to war with the whole of Lightning Country. Her and her family lived in the outer edges of Port Cirrus and were one of the many victims to fall under victim of the Tenouzans wrath. See, before the attack, her family had run a blacksmith business that sold all types of weapons. She herself was such a prodigy of making masterful pieces of work, whether they be for slicing down their enemies, or armor to prevent such slicing. The only real thing that she was missing was having chakra. If only she had such a thing, her craftsmanship would be on a whole other level.
Going back to the Tenouzan attack,when she was seven, her parents had urged her to send an urgent message out to Cloud requesting their immediate aid to fend of the Tenouzans. She had rushed to get the message out, but when she returned, her whole family was dead. Smoke filled the air and fire rose from the embers of her house. She noticed that nearly all of the weapons and armor that her and her family made were taken. Stolen... She lost all of her will as she would collapse on the ground and sit there for a while. Days would go by and news of the fall of Tenouza would reach Port Cirrus. But it didn't matter to her, she lost everything important to her. Was she too slow? Or were the Cloud ninja too lax to see such a horrendous act to eliminate the threat. She would clench her fist and as she punched the ground, she saw an aura surround her hand as she does so. She was surprised by what had happened. Stunned even. But why? Why now would such a thing, a power, come to her after the moment she needed it most?
It seems that someone had seen what had happened. She would eventually be approached by people who were looking for others like her. People who had just awakened to having chakra. With a hatred towards the Tenouzans and furthermore, the unjust that the Cloud Ninja have. She would learn much through her time with the revolutionists, how nearly everyone there were regular people like her that lost someone during the Holy war. How they felt betrayed by Cloud when no help came or the fact that Cloud would steal away their young. She would stay with them and think of them as a second family as she would grow up to be thirteen, around the time that the revolution finally decided to strike, making themselves known to Kumogakure. It would be during this time that Izanami would be able to refine and master her blacksmith abilities and take it to a whole new level, mixing it with her chakra to make weapons fit for war and armor fit to stop lethal attacks. But eventually, the revolution was called off by the main leader. Most of the others didn't like it, but abided by what he had said.
Izanami would carefully watch Cloud to see if they would keep their promise, of atoning for their mistakes in the past along with actually fixing the Country that they tore apart for their own militaristic gain. Now seeing that the Village seems to be making its way to helping more and more people, Izanami was faced with an inner dilemma. She knows that most of the other now ex-revolutionists don't want anything to do with Cloud or its ninjas, but the way she sees it, maybe it is time for everyone to start working together. Even if it is starting out small with someone like her.
She would willingly go to Cloud and ask to join their ranks on the only condition that she works for the people and the citizens of Lightning Country. It wouldn't take long after she was accepted in that realizing that she was at the very least above the likes of an academy student as she had worked with the Revolutionists for some years even before they had decided to strike. Her intellect and demeanor suggested that she had her own type of training to be either on par with or even above the standards that of the Academy as even though she is mainly a taijutsu fighter, she has moderate knowledge of ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Nevertheless, she would be put through a test, one to test her mental willpower as she had to fight several opponents all the while trying to achieve her goal of rescuing a civilian. Such a thing was nearly easy for her as she used her weapons that she made to be used in any situation. In the end, it turned more of a test for her proctors to keep up with her rather than the other way around.
