Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A soft sigh left the young male as he looked towards the body, back to the sky. “I guess I will just wait here..” Through his Byakkugan he took a final check of his surroundings, everything and anyone was knocked out… So with that he finally lifted his fangs. A visible relieve washed over him, that jutsu was so draining.

Looking over his palms he was trying to figure out how much chakra he had left in case a fight would break out further. “Hmm…” He only started to look up when he heard this name.

“Toraono Ryota! Here!”

Ryota’s gaze went up, hearing his full name still gave him the major heebies. What did he do wrong this time? His lazely gaze started to turn into a shock and from that shocked expression towards a ‘oh fck me’. He suddenly saw his brother flying towards him. He got up in a split second and tried to gamble as to where his brother would land.

In hid mind;

how it went.

“Idiot! Ahoka!” And some more words of the other being an idiot were thrown towards the older man. He was sitting on his butt with Micchi on him. At least he was able to cushion the fall for him. When the little package landed next to him, he wanted to reply further but that man was already gone. “Shit shit….” He muttered and would first activate his byakugan. “Oi… Asu, still got some firepower left?” he asked his contract which was released from Micchino now. “Yes, but not too much.”

“That is fine… “

“We might be knocked down… but we don’t give up… That is the Taranao way.” He gritted his teeth. In Ryota’s mind… it was easier to SEE wounds. Now he had no idea what to treat or how to treat. He had to think fast, at first he merged with his contract. Then he would make a few hand signs, a barrier around the two followed by a Sandstorm Veil. “This is going to drain the hell out of me..” He muttered as he moved quickly.

“Micchi, Don’t think ill of me. But I need to you swallow.” He would say, his teenage head already making something entirely different of it… but he placed the soldier pill inside along with a bit of water to smooth it down. If he wouldn’t… He would attempt to feed that thing through. After that, he would turn on that heater thing to make sure his core temperature would remain higher. After that, he created a medical clone. “i don’t care, do it.” That clone would keep up a steady stream of healing jutsu, in attempt to close everything so nothing could go wrong. All while Ryota himself remained very still. He would attack anything that came close and wouldn’t identity.

In a less professional setting Sora would have slapped his forehead or rolled his eyes in the wake of such unsettling news or at worse thrown his hands up in disbelief. Of course there was a traitor and of course they couldn't just blow the enemy ship out of the sky. Only stopping his conversation with Grey and a few other key Captains, to acknowledge the fact that the traitor had been captured and locked in an office that now substituted for a prison cell. Fortunately or unfortunately they hadn't had to consider the fact that they might actually want or need to lock someone away. Turning back to the conversation at hand, Sora ran through his options. "So we need to avoid blowing it out of the sky due to the fallout that could happen, there's a chakra barrier both around the payload and the ship itself, and they're going so fast that neither of our ships can reasonably reach them in time to cut them off." Nodding, Grey shrugged his shoulders. "That would seem to be the case, sir."

Shaking his head and looking down at the schematics that had been hastily drawn up of the enemy ship, Sora practically begged someone to come up with something. "Come on, think! We're shinobi, we're practically in the business of making the impossible, possible. How do we stop a ship that doesn't want to be stopped." Although the first part of his small speech caused more than one Captain to smirk, the seriousness of the situation equally stopped them from laughing out loud. "What if we just turn the ship around?" Although seemingly flippant, it wasn't the most wrong answer. "Did you forget about the multiple layers of chakra barriers?" A logical point. "Of course not, we'd just have to go through them." Maybe this young Captain might have been promoted a bit too soon.

"Our ship isn't fast enough to do that and we'd risk triggering the bomb." Indeed. "So we just sent a single manned ship, or heck, a whole bunch of single manned Sand Clippers through." Shaking her head, one of the more seasoned Captains chimed in. "They're too big and not nearly fast enough, they'd explode on impact. We don't have anything smaller than that on board." Before the Captain could barely finish speaking, the sheepish younger Captain shook her head and corrected her elder. "What about the escape pods." Her statement caused all of the assembled Captains to recoil. "What?" Nodding the young woman spoke on. "It's like Sora said, it's all chakra and shinobi tech at the end of the day. Barriers are great for stopping the big hits but you can generally pierce them with concentrated blows." At this point, Sora stepped in. "Go on..."

Nodding the woman did. "So we treat a few escape pods like railguns and shoot them towards the enemy ship. If we soften up their barrier shields with cannon fire it should provide just the right amount of force to allow the escape pods through and if we fire them fast enough, it'll be tough but they'll be able to steer themselves in such a way that they'll also pierce the enemy hull. From there, we'd task two teams with the objective of taking over the enemy bridge and securing the bomb. If we can't turn the ship around, then we do what we can to dismantle the bomb or set it off early." A young Captain, no doubt the young woman's peer spoke up. "We'd be sending them to die." Nodding her head, the woman agreed. "That's what we signed up for, right?" Stammering the young man spoke up. "Who's going to sign up for that? There's a chance that they might not make it through the shields or the hull to begin with and we'd have to aim them in such a way that they don't actually pierce the bomb itself. The sheer odds on such a shot for a small escape pod is..." Sighing and nodding in agreement, Sora finished his statement. "Practically impossible." His finishing statement left a deafening pause. Turning to Grey, Sora cleared his throat and started to pull on his collar. "Grey, you have the bridge. Captain Emi was it?" The young woman with the big plane nodded. "Tell your best to join me." A few of the Captains moved to try to speak up to stop Sora but all turned to Grey when he snapped to attention and saluted Sora. "Godspeed, sir!"

Within a few minutes Sora was already settling himself into one of the escape pods turned railgun projectiles. Reflecting on the plan, Sora shook his head and stopped focusing on the what ifs and instead focused on the moment at hand. Even with Captain Emi's plan there was still so much that depended on the brave men and woman that decided to join him on the dangerous mission. As the saying went, "no guts, no glory", and Sora needed all the guts for the cannonball experience that he was about to be subjected to. In a word, cozy, the escape pod only had enough room for him to lie on his back and hold a set of pulley like controls, the pods were only ever meant to allow one to navigate away from clear dangers on the way to making a safe landing. For the controls that seemed to be there, at the end of the day the escape pods were nothing more than glorified gliders. All of the thrust needed to hopefully make this trip would be from the carefully positioned ejection mechanisms that had quickly been aimed at the ship ahead instead of the ground below. Hearing a tap on the window pane, Sora looked up at the mechanic tasked with getting him from Point A to hopefully Point B and gave a thumbs up. Whatever reservations that he had would now have to be kept to himself. He'd trained for moments like this, he'd also chosen capable Captains to serve just in case something happened to him. He merely needed to trust the science and to focus on the objective, and with that in mind, he heard the snap of something outside of the pod and then felt the oddly surreal feeling of gravity contorting his body.

OOC: Sora gave command over to Grey and opted to be slingshot into the danger zone Red's ship along with a few brave others to hopefully try and commandeer the enemy ship. The enemies shields/barriers are also being hit with hopefully distracting cannon fire.

As the Sennin who controlled the sands as easily as he could breathe left the scene, leaving the medics to work on creating a cure for the Tellamusk drug, the feeling in the room changed. A sickening silence would fill the quickly risen shelter as a set of foot steps would seem to echo, ringing out from all directions. A familiar yet foreign voice would ring into the minds of the medics, one of the forefront researchers of the Omni Prime, someone who had personally trained many of the medics here, would speak telepathically to them all.

"Well, well, well. We didn't expect you all to discover the source of the cure so quickly."

As people began to recognize the voice confusion and potentially shock could be expected. Almost as if appearing out of thin air, Chikamatsu Shin, the Twelth Kazekage, appeared. His skin was pale and his once sapphire he'd eyes sank into a sickly yellow tone. His shining silver armor in which he wore as a symbol of peace and pride had been replaced by a dark black attire.

A stern look rested on his face as he gripped the hilt of his blade. "It can't be helped. Blame Akkuma for your deaths, but fear not. I'll make them quick."

His words were laced with Chakra, and as the phantom spoke horrific and grotesque monsters would begin to crawl out of each person's shadows. Snarling and breathing out toxic fumes. The creatures would begin to cause havoc within the tent as the point of Shin's blade was aimed at the Medical Chief of this operation.

Zantetsuken a technique taught to Shin by his sensei, Akujin, that is near impossible to avoid, especially by someone who has spent their life in the academics and not in the field of combat. Taking a single step forward, Shin would seemingly teleport behind the woman as soon as his foot touched the sands floor below him, a grin took to his face as he looked back towards the horrors his creations were causing. If this strike landed true, the woman in charge of curating this formulation would be split in two by the high speed Taijutsu that the once thought dead Kazekage had mastered.

Taking a breath in and slamming the tip of his blade into the ground he would mutter, "I cannot let you break the hold on this vessel, he is too valuable. It's a shame I had to play this card so soon."

He smiled at the MiTs, that were in his beginner courses just a few years ago, screaming for their lives. Lifting his hand a being of pure black shadows would form from his body and launch forward. The Phantom would conjure his Persona to begin to tear the flesh of the young men and women from their bones.

The smell of burning flesh would soon fill the area as bursts of fire erupted from the makeshift shelter as the fire release of the Phoenix Sage would spew forth. Black wings made of smoke would erupt from Shin's back as he slowly lifted off of the ground in the cinder filled room. He would raise his hand concentrating Chakra.

"I will make all of Sunagakure bow before the might of W-"

His eyes went wide as a sharp pain would be felt in the corner of his neck. Turning to look over his shoulder he saw the Medical Chief grinning with blood running from her mouth. Shin touched the point of pain on his neck when he is shocked to find a dart like syringe lodged into his flesh.

"I see you're regenerative skills would make the Omni Prime proud. It's a shame you made an enemy out of this vessel."

He slowly stepped towards her, before grabbing her by the neck with a single hand lifting her up. Clinching his hand on the very air a current of flames would form a blade before condensing back to the black blade he carried.

"Don't worry, your Sennin will be meeting you in the afterworld soon enough. The Demon will finally fall to the blade wielded by the disgraced Lord of Sunagakure."

Slowly inserting the blade through her chest, piercing her heart, her scream would pierce through the roar of the flames. Dropping her lifeless body to the ground the man would take a few steps out of the flames, his black wings spreading wide.

A pulse of pain.

A memory.

A voice.

A woman shouting out to him.

Grabbing his temples the sage would fall to his knees. The shadow he conjured to tear the staff apart would step out of the flames, it's form wavering as if the breeze was blowing a cloak away from it.

"Shin..."

Her voice called out. The black smoke flickering to show a blonde woman calling out and crying. Kohana cried out to her brother. The Seal of the Yurei Orchid on Shin's neck was slowly fading. Slowly breaking the connection Shin had to his sister. She was afraid this drug that controlled her brother would cause her to fall into the abyss that waited for her..

Shin's eyes would begin to flicker between the golden hue it held and his blue eyes. What was happening to him? He wasn't sure and he was afraid something would once again break him.

His eyes shifting to the golden hue again, he turned to look back at the only chance the Sunan forces had to cure this control was ruined. With a grin he would whisper into the sands.

"Akkuma, the father of sin and filth in these lands. Come and face me."

Slowly rising to his feet he would look up into the sky. The formula of the quickly administered cure wasn't at a dosage high enough to fully cured Shin's affliction. While he was still under the control of the mastermind behind this rebellion, he could feel the slight space to allow him to make a few decisions if his own, and as of right now...

He wanted to kill all of the Sennin that failed to protect him.
